This author grabs hold of your heart with this tear-jerker. So much heartbreak follows the death of a loved fur baby and many do not know where to begin when healing from such a loss. Books like these help not only children to understand their feelings but also help parents guide their children through the grieving process. I highly recommend it, especially if you are in the situation of needing to explain this life-changing event to children.

I laughed, cried, got angry, and fell in love with the folks of McIntire County! The author did an incredible job diving into the mind of someone affected by PTSD. Very well written. I loved the fact that the characters weren’t perfect and they had relatable emotional issues. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I was not disappointed. It is packed full of adventure! A very hard book to put down for sure. It will have you tearing through the pages, craving more and more. Originally I was expecting to not like this book but I will admit that I quit enjoyed it. Don’t judge a book by its cover because it will make you miss out on the magic within. Highly recommend this book.

An interesting, paranormal book full of myths and legends, all centered around Atlantis. What if Atlantis truly was ruled by vampires? The author gave life to a unique book and I found it to be very captivating. I do feel like the story was rushed at times though. I wish there was more to the story.

Wow! Although this is the sixth and final book in the collection, I feel like it worked great as a stand alone. I do encourage readers to start from book one in the series so they do not miss details about different characters. Romance, secrets, lies, greif, this book as a whirlwind of emotions entangled throughout. This book can empower women to speak up and have a voice amongst all the chaos. The author did a great job and I recommend trying out this series.

This is the third book in this amazing series. Let me just tell you, WOW, it takes you into a rabbit hole. The intensity that Spook goes through with his mental health is heartbreaking. After his soul mate’s brothers attacked him, Spook withdrew and ran from everything. I wanted to jump into the pages and give him a hug. This is definitely a must read! I do recommend reading from book one so that you don’t miss any important character developments.

The Wandering Isles is a novella that takes place after The Crown of Stones series. This book follows Ian and his friend Jarryd as they set sail for the abandoned Wandering Isles. Only the joke was on them. The Isles were inhabited by magic beings and soon their past comes back to haunt them as they struggle to determine their reality.
This book was riveting! I absolutely love how the author kept me captivated and craving more. I am excited to see what else this author has in store for the future.

I recommend reading the first book in the series so that you get a better background on the characters. I loved this book! My own daughter has anxiety and sometimes it can be really hard for her to calm down. Lilly learns to cope with her anxiety throughout this book and I found it to be informative. I was surprised by this read to say the least. At times I was laughing, I never would have expected that from a book with Murder in the title. The author brings life to this gated retirement community of seniors. Each senior has their own back story with love, secrets, and heartache. I love how well rounded the character development is throughout the book. I do wish the author would have brought everything to a solid end but maybe she has more in-store for us in the future.

The author gives just enough away to keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more. I absolutely love Cade and Kiera’s character development. The romantic chemistry portrayed between them was palpable, to say the least. I gobbled this book up in one session without putting it down. Truly can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for the future.

The struggles Rebecca encounters while seeking orgasmic fulfillment makes this book very relatable to a large group of women. I love how this author brakes down Rebecca’s character exposing her most vulnerable aspects to the readers. The story follows a young woman who is on a mission to achieve the Big O but she has to learn how it all works first. Rebecca deals with her struggles, on top of all the chaos going on around her, with such determination. I love it!!! Absolutely a must read!

Interesting take on Fairy Tales. The author gives these tales a magical twist intermixed with some darkness. I love how you can pick this book up, read one short story, and put it back down without feeling like you are left on a cliff. Each story is uniquely written and enjoyable, even for adult readers. This authors idea of a Fairy Tale museum is definitely unique. I recommend this book if you like quick reads.

This complex read will have you in your emotions the whole time. Claire’s mother puts her in an extremely difficult position, being her baby brother’s full time caretaker. Although she resents her mother, her fierce love for her baby brother is unrelenting and she does everything she can to provide for him. This book definitely puts poor Claire through the ringer. As a mother, I was heartbroken and wanted to help her. As a reader, I was all over the place emotionally and I could not put it down.
Overall, this was an amazing YA book. I highly recommend!

Similar to the classic fairytale Jack and the Bean Stalk but with a twist. The clever giant devises a plan to catch a boy and eat him while advertising his method to other giants via an infomercial to make money. The giant’s plan was going as planned when the boy’s curiosity took him up the bean stalk. The first time was pure curiosity but the many times after was greed. The boy had stealing items from the giant’s house to make money. Since the boy was never caught, he felt comfortable returning to steal more. The giant revealed that he had set up the boy and he was trapped. The boys quick witts saved him in the end when he was able to convince the giant to let him go.
I was personally not a big fan of this book. I did like that the author kept some key items from the classic fairytale but I find it to be very greed driven. I don’t really think the message of the story was portrayed in a positive way.

Forbidden Blood is the fourth installment of The Shadow Chronicles. That being said, this is the first installment I have read. Not only is this book fast-paced, action-packed, and drool worthy but it also functioned great as a stand alone! I had a hard time putting it down.
Kimber’s life became a whirlwind of new possibilities when a mystery man entered her life. She had been treated as a weapon and kept captive for years. Fabian showed her compassion and understanding as her powers grew day by the day. He was the only person who had ever believed in her. He made her feel safe while encouraging Kimber to reach her full powerful potential.
I loved it!
