When they warn you there’s a cliffhanger THERE’S A FREAKING CLIFFHANGER. Not sure what I expected but it wasn’t that! All in all Shadows In The Dark is a very good book but if you are new to the BDSM world thus one would be a little shocking and you might want to choose something a bit lighter to start with. I was expecting something a little darker but overall I’m anything but disappointed. Very much so looking forward to the next one!!

A little slow to start but I overall very good. I love the semi-enemies turned couple twist to the family redemption story. Reminded me a bit of a hallmark movie though which is why I gave the 4 stars. Not a whole lot of grit to it.

My daughter thought learning about different homes was great and really loved the illustrations as well! Her reading level is fairly low and she was able to breeze through with only minor assistance. I myself thought the layout and all the different types of homes were great and the story flowed well.

I love the originality of the words and that the definitions are included! My daughter had a bit of a hard time. She is 6 in 2nd grade but reading at a kindergarten level. I will definitely be getting this book for friends who just had girls!!

So good!! I haven’t read them all but I didn’t feel like I was missing huge pieces of the story. I was able to follow right along and understand what was going on. There were of course references to things I didn’t read but it wasn’t a piece I had to know to follow the story. Love love love. Can’t wait to read the rest!!

I laughed and I cried! Just like the book before this story flowed right along as if the others didn’t exist but at the same time wasn’t redundant for someone who has read the previous in the series. I loved the others but this is my favorite in the series so far! Still very unpredictable and keeps you sucked in so you don’t want to put it down.

I love how Master Descallia flows right into Master Tuscano but they could be read separate as well. It kept me captivated, on my toes the whole time and I wasn’t able to predict the outcome. I love the mischief and companionship between the characters as well. Would definitely recommend.

So good! I definitely got wrapped up from the first paragraph and could not put it down. I finished it in one day! That’s saying something as I have a 4 month old 🤣 I love the suspense and action. Also how the relationship between Descallia and Luce develops. The storyline keeps you guessing and does not disappoint. Can’t wait for the next one!

Magic Price
I loved this book! Very descriptive and imaginative. I love the new way to think of a magical race and everything that comes with it. Lots of action! Can’t wait to read the next one!
Magic Scars
So good!! Did not disappoint at all! Can’t wait to read the last one and know the rest of the story. I love the character development. Not just the main character but the rest as well. It’s all very realistic and keeps you interested.
Magic Borne
So much detail!! Best one yet!! The action the plot twists I loved everything. This book definitely kept me guessing on what would happen next. Between the different cultures and trying to overcome their differences. 😚 magnificent.

Reading this book series is like watching Perry Mason and I love it. The developing relationship between Madame Chalamet and Duke de Archambeau is amazing. A lot of books of this genre tend to have the main characters falling into bed immediately and I like this teaser slow burn going on. It was obvious in the beginning that there was attraction so it is nice to see it starting to go somewhere. As for the plot line of the rest of the story I was pleasantly surprised to find out who “did it”. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Madame Chalamet is the Ghost Talker. I was drawn in at the first meeting of her thinking she might not be my favorite main character but am pleased that was not the case! She is witty and intelligent as well as compassionate and sassy. The storyline is very interesting and very original. Im also a fan of all the supporting characters along the way. They make the story and keep you guessing as to what happens next. I’m very hopeful the other books in this series are as good!

I was able to read this in a day. I just couldn’t put it down! The development of the story is so natural and realistic you can’t help but be sucked in and held there. The scenes are hot but not too detailed and drawn out. I absolutely loved the character development and relationship development between the main characters and everyone around them. This book was so unexpected in a good way. I could not put it down. Savage is a very apt description of so much in this story, it is not for the faint of heart. I’m not one that typically likes degrading in any way but there’s a sort of redemption that makes it not so bad. I’m a fan of BDSM novels so I understand the dynamic that is trying to be achieved. Even though I’m not a fan of some aspects I understand the background of Kingston and Ava and I love the author’s creativity! I absolutely could not wait to be able to read more every day and I’m sad I don’t gave a release date yet on book 2!

What a wonderful addition to the series!! Maddie and David’s story flows so well with the continuation of all the others. Having read the previous books in the series there were some redundant parts but necessary for someone who started with this book. I’m not sure I like the ending because it just, well, ends. There’s no summation or even a fin. Overall great book!

I really didn’t know what I was getting into with this book and I loved it! Even though I have only read this one and didn’t even realize there were SEVEN previous novels in the series I didn’t feel lost or confused at all. I love the different take on vampire culture and mortals being aware of their presence and attempting to live in harmony. I can’t lie the ending was very abrupt and it surprised me. I was all hunkered down to keep reading and then I couldn’t turn the pages anymore. I said out loud “ Oh! It’s over?!?!” Can’t wait to find out the rest of the story!
