Fractured Hearts-Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC Book 7) by D.M. Earl – Review by Emmye Marihugh

Fractured Hearts-Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC Book 7)Fractured Hearts-Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really liked this book. However I was unaware that there were 6 in the series prior to reading. I did get lost in the details of who was who and where things were happening. Despite that I really loved the relationship between Celestina and Frank, how they grew together throughout and eventually came together in the end. Hopefully I will be able to read the rest of the series in the future and connect the dots.

Great follow up to The Mating Call! I definitely did not see Laramie and Trigger’s story become so intertwined. Love the character development. Can’t wait for ‘25 to have more of the story!

This is definitely a different kind of kids book. I like that it is from the perspective of the child. I found it odd how it ends so I gave it 3 stars.

I love the mystery of Liam. The back and forth between Liam and Theresa is very realistic and I love the ending. The way The Silent Woodsman transitions into The Guardsman is seamless. Almost like they are a part one and part two of a movie. I can’t wait for the next one!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

C.L. Schneider has done it again!! So much detail put in without it being distracting or boring. Every detail matters. I thoroughly enjoyed this next leg in Jarryd and Ian’s journey across the lands. So much more growth as characters and relationships and it all ties into the original series. Absolutely loved it!

This addition to the series is a wonderful one! It really captures the difficulties of new relationships and how it can be difficult to get to know someone. I can’t wait for more of Tamaska and Kodiak.

Fresh take on an enemies to lovers story! I love that the change was gradual. It made it seem way more plausible and realistic. The flow of the story really worked and kept me guessing what the outcome would be. Now to go back and read the others in the series!

So original! Drew me in from the first and kept me interested. Very original storyline! The only thing I wish were different is shorter time skips. The gaps seem to include critical points of character relationship building that just appear to be there but you weren’t told how it happened. I love the characters and flow of the book all together and can’t wait for the next one!!

Grand Slam (Ground Rule Book 3) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Emmye Marihugh

Grand Slam (Ground Rule Book 3)Grand Slam by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was a little skeptical going into reading this book since I haven’t read the 2 preceding in the series. I was pleasantly surprised when I didn’t feel like I was missing anything by not having read the others. I loved the storyline and main characters. I do wish there was more background than there was, more detail in childhood and so on with both main characters. Yes you get the over all picture but I feel like it was glanced over and just got the bare minimum for the story to work. Kind of a spoiler but I didn’t like the drama with the brother as there wasn’t a whole lot of detail and it could have been better. Overall I really liked this book and finished it in about 5 hours or maybe a little less.

I loved this book! Towards the end it seemed to lose my interest as I was easily distracted from it but it could be just my ADHD. I loved the flow of the story and attention to detail. This is an amazing love story with gods and ancient beings. There isn’t anything bad I have to say about it!

I can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like about this book. There is something to be said about chemistry from the start. I loved the way the storyline played out. Some of the action parts I had to read a couple times to get the full picture mentally but I read this book in one day. I simply could not put it down. I really really really hope Rose and Titans story continues!

I loved this book!! I could not put it down!! Such wonderful characters and development of them. I wish it was longer!! Very original story line. I love how the romance builds much like on Queen Charlotte. As I said before I do wish it was longer. There are a few questions that weren’t answered but aren’t critical to the main storyline. Overall great book!!
