If you are a psychological thriller fan, you must read this one. Despite it’s almost 300 pages, it is a very quick read because you CAN’T put it down.
The details and writing is amazing, I was right there in the thick of it. I loved and hated the characters. I despised Dusty and I think that shows how well the writing is, because it came to a point where I truly despise a fictional character.
After reading this I jumped right into the next one.

A Steampunk retelling of Cinderella. This was not my typical read at all but it was certainly intriguing. I’m not disappointed I chose to read it. This was for sure a re-telling like no other. I truly enjoyed the historical fiction pieces to it. I enjoyed the characters. Certainly would recommend for a younger reader (Middle School/High School).

This was my first book by Cynthia Hamilton and it absolutely won’t be my last. This was a fantastic read that drew me in from page one. It read so vividly it was like watching a movie or TV show. I typically imagine what I read while reading and sometimes my mind is filling in the blanks, but for this read Hamilton had everything covered the detail and the characters were fabulous. I must say I was a bit hesitant to read this since it was book 7 in the series, but it certainly could be read as a stand alone. Although I will be going back reading 1-6 and then re-reading this one. Three cases in one book wasn’t something I thought I would be up for and thought it would be too much to follow along, but Hamilton’s writing made the reading very smooth. I read it in one sitting. A must read for any crime/mystery lover.

Dawnbreaker: The House of Blood and Sun, is a Fantasy/Paranormal Romance. The world created for this series is fantastic and I truly can’t wait to continue following what this world has to offer in future books in the series. The romance wasn’t overly complicated like so many others in this genre. I really like the time Thorne took to add backstories and give the reader a full immersion into the world they created. It’s a must read for anyone into Fantasy/Paranormal Romance.

What a fun read! It was entertaining and sucked me in from page one! I actually read it through in one night and then read it again with my girls the next. We all laughed out loud and were completely absorbed in the story. I have never read anything by Brittany Tucker previously, but would certainly read anything she writes including the rest of this series.

What an emotional read but so very well written. Usually with emotional reads I need to take several breaks, so it can take days to weeks to read from beginning until end, fortunately this was very much unlike the rest. I was very engaged from beginning till end. Although this was a nonfiction novel, it felt so real, as if I was reading her story. The writing truly was captivating.

This is such a well written thorough easy to read guide. A guide for the most novice of writers. The organized chapters, were easy to flip back and forth through as needed. The tasks at the end of each chapter were really helpful, and gave the book an interactive feel. This is a great guide to first time authors or those testing their inner authors. TL Clark clearly put so much time and effort into this fantastic guide, giving new authors the chance to fly.

This book had me hooked from the first Chapter. This was my first book by Elise Carlson and I really wasn’t sure what to expect, but I am so glad that I read it. It was a page turner right from the start. I really appreciated that all though it was fantasy the characters were very realistic. Along with being my first book by Elise Carlson, it was also my first book with a non-binary character and I think Elise wrote the character well. The only reason why I gave this book a 4 and not a 5 star rating was because although entertaining and engaging from beginning to end, you really had to pay attention from beginning to end or you could get lost a bit. It was not a book I could read before bed with my mind winding down for the night, and even with full attention during the day there were times where I had to stop go back just to make sure I was following correctly. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series.

This was a very dark read, I love psychological thrillers but this one had me deeply feeling all the emotions in this novel. Mujagic’s talent far surpassed my expectations. I could not put this down, as much as I thought I had figured out all the twists and turns there was a new one ahead. Throughout the novel I had so many questions in which all were answered as I continued to read.
Certainly a read for psychological thriller lovers.
This was such a fun cozy mystery. This is the first in the series, and I just couldn’t put it down. It is a great start to a series, and I can’t wait to read more. There were fantastic characters and so many mini stories within the main story. It was very easy to read and follow along because the characters and storyline were well written. I truly can’t wait to read what’s next in this series.
Just as good as the first! I jumped right into this one, after reading Taylor’s Law. Once again I was captivated and couldn’t put it down from the moment I picked it up. Another tear jerker, but at least this time I knew Ms. Raines would have me feeling all the emotions. This is so well written you certainly feel like part of the family. Although this is book 2 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone but you would be missing out on a great read if you skip Taylor’s Law.

An easy and engaging read. I couldn’t put it down once I started. This is a very sweet love story with relatable lovable characters. This is a bit more of an emotional read than I have been reading lately but I am so very glad I did. I lost my dad to cancer 16 years ago and I truly try to avoid books that have cancer as part of the story line. This was so very well written and I as emotional as it was to read I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end. I can’t wait to read what happens next.

The 3rd book in the Benoit and Dayne Mystery series. Can be read as a standalone, but you would be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t read the first 2. I read them out of order reading book 2 first, 1 second and this one 3rd. One would think that you would need a notebook and create some kind of character map for all of the characters you are introduced to in this series, but Austin writes in such a way that you follow along with ease. The characters are actually a huge reason why I love this series, I’m attached and invested at this point. they have become my book besties. The plot just like the two before keeps you guessing until the very end.

Although book 2 in the series, I read as a stand alone, and can easily be read as one. This is a very gripping story that keeps you guessing until the very end. There were a few times I was sure figured it out, but I never did. I really appreciated the characters and their relationships, some of my favorite thrillers are not solely based on the plot but my attachment to the characters. This certainly has the plot and the characters you want to keep reading about. I can’t wait to go back and read book one as well as book 3 in this series.

This was not at all what I was expecting, but in such a good way. This book certainly exceeded all my expectations. I don’t think I have been able to read anything this dark and twisted in a long time. When I say this is dark, boy is this dark, and yet I couldn’t put it down. I did have to reset and read something very light and easy after reading this. So I guess this is your warning to prepare yourself for dark and heavy, because I was not expecting it to be so dark and heavy. The characters all had their own darkness. This started off slow, but it didn’t take to have my full undivided attention. I will say that I do wish the ending didn’t feel so rushed, but it didn’t take away from my reading experience in any way so I am still giving this a 5 star review.

where’s the movie? I was pulled right into the story. I may have related a little too much to the toxic best friend situation which made me hate Candice, but I pretty sure that’s the point. I was truly invested in the story and appreciated the ending. I think that the characters were well written and very realistic. I think this is my first multi-verse read ever! I mean I guess I have read books before that touched upon and mentioned multi-verses but never one that I was actively reading throughout multi-verses. This was so up my daughter’s alley, and I couldn’t wait for her to join in on the adventure.
Now Mr. James Talisman, I just need to state this right here and right now, My husband is NOT a reader, we have been together for 20 years and the most I have ever seen him read is captions on video games, I have never seen him pick up a book or even a comic. I started reading this to him and he said for the first time EVER he could envision what was being read to him. So guess what I found him doing one day, reading on my kindle! Happiest day of this readers life! I’m not a writer but if I was I would think this would be the highest compliment.
All 3 books brought a new adventure. I love reading series, I love that there is always a book to grab when you finish the one before, but I often find I really dislike at least one book out of the series. The Journeys through Collection was completely different I thoroughly enjoyed each one. I hope to read more from James Talisman soon (and I hope to see my husband reading too).

A fun, comical Young Adult read. This YA opposites attract (historical-ish) romance will not disappoint. I really appreciated the characters and their dynamics. I currently read an enemies into lovers adult read and I truly appreciate this one quite a bit more. This was a quick easy read and one I certainly will share with my daughter. This is my first read by Tucker, and makes sense since this is her first book, but I will certainly be looking out for more from Tucker, hopefully in the near future.

If you like tv shows like CSI, SVU, and Criminal minds this book is for you! This is certainly a thriller mystery worth reading. I really appreciated the different layers of this book. Lewis can certainly write suspense! Revenge Never Rests starts right where Secrets Never Dies leaves off. I highly recommend if you stumble upon this book not knowing it was book two, to pick up Secrets Never Die first (you won’t be disappointed). Lewis does a great job over-viewing the backstory so this could be read as a standalone but its truly worth it to read in order. Just like the first I was on the edge of my seat and couldn’t put it down. Knowing how disappointed I was that I had to put the first one down and couldn’t read it through in one sitting, I carved out my day and read this in one go! Truly clean suspense that leaves you screaming out loud.

When I first started reading, I really didn’t think I was going to enjoy this. There were so many characters introduced and I was certain I was NOT going to be able to keep up with them, the amount of characters was truly overwhelming at first but every single one was brilliantly significant throughout the story. The plot had so many twists and turns I was truly on the edge of my seat, the suspense was too much to take at times in the best way. It was very hard to walk away from this book, not be able to know what happened next. If you love suspense and like to try figuring everything out before the end, this is for you.

So far I love anything Libby Kay writes. Kay makes reading an ease. Her books are easily devoured in one sitting. Falling Home doesn’t fall short of that. Falling Home is a fantastic Christmas Romance. I couldn’t put it down once I picked it up, never once did I lose my interest. There is something about Kay’s writing that I appreciate, I am not sure what it is but reading is truly effortless when reading Falling Home. Kay creates the perfect movie in your mind as you read.

This was a great historical mystery. The writing was fantastic. I was instantly transported right into this book. I was trying to solve the mystery as if I was an investigator in the story. It’s like 3 different stories in 1. I truly enjoyed all 3 main characters and thought they were well developed. This was such a good well written easy read. A fantastic beachy holiday read. I have never spent a holiday anywhere warm, unless New England happens to be unusually warm, but reading this I was instantly transported there. At first when I read the Title, I was having trouble figuring out the pronunciation, then I said it out loud and instantly started laughing out loud. I couldn’t wait to dive in and it literally started delivering first sentence! I don’t even know where to begun on how much I enjoyed this book. I loved the characters, they were relatable and enjoyable to spend my time with. I wasn’t able to read this in one sitting but if things like taking care of children and going to work didn’t get in the way I could have easily sat and devoured this book. If you are lucky enough to go somewhere warm and tropical this holiday season and need a poolside/beach read this is it! If you’re like me and just need to mentally escape to somewhere warm, this is it!

The perfect quick read to get you in the holiday spirit. Snow in Love by Libby Kay is a short and sweet (and a little bit spicy) Christmas Read! I was hooked just after a few pages and read it in one sitting. I was engaged from beginning to end. I really enjoyed the characters. The story was cute. This is honestly the perfect read to curl up by the fire with a mug of Hot Cocoa and snuggle under a cozy blanket. The story was short, but it was honestly perfect, nothing felt rushed or dragged out. So if you are looking for a holiday themed read, this is a great one.

I love you today is book 2 in a trilogy by Julie Navickas. I did read book 1, I loved you Yesterday previously to reading this, but this could easily have been read as a stand alone. This is out of the park (no pun intended). The characters are realistic and relatable and so easy to picture as I read. I loved watching this love story play out. A heartwarming romance with a fantastic love triangle. I am not going to lie, I am over love triangles, I think they are played out by so many, but this one, this one I truly was torn myself. Throughout the book, I couldn’t decide which brother I wanted Mavis to be with. I wanted Mavis to end up with each of them at different parts throughout the book. This story had it all, forgiveness, appreciation and most of all 2nd chances. A must read for romance readers!
You are not going to get a more relatable heartwarming cozy Christmas read. The characters are so personable and relatable. After living through a pandemic, this was such a relatable read. This is truly such the perfect read to get in the Christmas Spirit. This book touched upon a pandemic, loneliness, heartache, forgiveness and filled my bucket.

Mistletoe Memories by Bernadette Marie . This was such a cute cozy Christmas read. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. A Rocky Mountain Romance by Jessica Mehring Another cute Christmas romance, this one the characters grew on me, the character growth is fantastic. Copper Penny Christmas by Ann Swann This was such a cozy Christmas read, Enjoyed the Storyline Merry Mix-Ups by Emily Bybee This has to have my favorite characters of this collection, and the story is fantastic, certainly one of my favorite reads in the collection. Falling for Christmas by Amy L. Gale Another favorite, with fantastic character growth, this one has Hallmark Christmas movie written all over it! Christmas Pizzo by Emersyn Kane , Christmas Pizzo, was the most different for me, an Italian Christmas Romance. I fell in love with the Characters for sure! Fantastic writing. The Mrs. Clause by S.J. Reisner Another Cozy Christmas read, this one was certainly a page turner. This may have been my absolute favorite of the collection. I highly recommend this anthology if you are looking for Christmas Romances this Holiday season.
