The Fighter (An Underground Bad Boys Romance Book 3) by India Kells

The Fighter (An Underground Bad Boys Romance, #3)The Fighter by India Kells
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Juliet and Ten are in a bind and when Ten decides to take a chance at underground fighting their paths cross with Gage. One split decision from Gage turns their lives upside down. Soon the three have the wrong men interested in them. Can Gage find a way to help Juliet and Ten or will the bad guys get to them first?

While I found the storyline of this book an interesting one, I did not fall for the characters. Their story pulls you in at the start, but I quickly found the character development lacking for me. The characters are continually confused which I understand is a major part of the storyline, but it soon becomes annoying. The story keeps changing the direction of the romance and I did not like the build up of the story being a threesome and also highlighting the chemistry between the two men only to go in a completely different direction. In the end I was confused at the direction the romance went after the big buildup and attention paid earlier in the book to the connections between certain characters. The plot moves along at a good pace but ends abruptly and surprisingly for me.

Yesss! I have come to really like India Kells as a writer. This is the third installment of the underground bad boys series and it was the best one in my opinion ( Gage is my favorite male character🤣😍). When Ten and Juliet get themselves into trouble, Here comes Gage. The White Knight to the rescue to save his siren and her best friend. The menage a trois in this book is just as hot and spicy🥵🌶 as the first and second one if not more. I love that we get to see some of the action with the bad guys, which makes it suspenseful. I also love that we see the characters from the previous books. And omg the epilogue is just the cutest thing.🥰

Okie so i really love how India Kells makes the main females strong and not the typical weak damsel in distress. Josie had to overcome a lot but she did it all with her head high. This is the second book in the series. If you haven’t read the first one I suggest you do. It’s a great read and you’ll understand some of the characters more like the main hot guy Knoxs. Him and Josie at first was like oil and water but as they warm up to each other hot da*m then you add Gage to the mix. It’s hotter than 5 alarm chili. I do however feel bad for Gage because he can’t seem to catch a break. Gage is my favorite character so far. Hopefully in the next book(his book) he gets what he deserves.

OMG 😲. This is the first time reading Author India Kells and I’m extremely happy I took the chance. It wasn’t what I was expecting. Even though I saw the cover ( it’s what drew me in) I thought it was gonna be mfm and was surprised to find it was mmf/mfm. I’m not gonna lie it was very interesting and actually very hot 🔥 🤤 i’ve never read a mmf threesome before. I can say it won’t be the last😉
The story plot was extremely good. I really liked the leading lady. She was fierce and the chemistry between her and Locke was explosive. The only thing missing was the action of the bad guy take down. I will be rereading this gem.

I have read a few books from this author and she always blows my mind with her writing. This is the third book of the underground bad boys series. You can read this book as a stand alone but there are some previous characters in this story as well. I was excited for this book. I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I could not put this book until the very end. I can’t wait to see who she writes about next.

Juliet has been fighting since her parents left her. She is now staying with her best friend Ten to survive. Juliet finds herself in the underground because her friend needs to make some money or they are going to lose their apartment. She is shocked when a gorgeous man helps her friend and wins the fight. Juliet is too late and now she is living with the new fighter. She is scared now because her friend has to train for a bigger fight that might take his life. Juliet starts to have feelings for Gage but is he a guy that will settle down for her?

Perfect ending to this trilogy.  This author is on my list to automatically read without looking at the cover or reading the synopsis,  though the cover would have drawn me in if I was not familiar with her.

Gage and Juliet meet in the most interesting way and that is just the beginning of the interesting moments.

There are some incredibly hot moments that are not for the weak or pearl clutchers that is for sure.

Once again this author delivers a book I enjoyed reading.  If you have read anything by her yet I highly recommend this book which could be read as a standalone,  though I would start at the beginning.

First book by this author and can I just say “Wow!” Just to be clear there is plenty of steam in this book, but it is so much more than that. I love a good “down on my luck” story. We can all relate to feeling like a failure at something or things just going wrong at every turn. It’s great to read about the characters overcoming obstacles and facing demons. Great characters and a great plot. Looking forward to going back and reading the rest of the series!

The Traitor is the second book in India Kells Bad Boys Romance series. In this story we meet Spencer and Josie. Josie is busy working herself to the bone, trying to make ends meet thanks to her good for nothing ex. She gets a second job at Spencer’s garage, and as much as he tries to resist her, he is drawn to her immediately. He wants to protect her, but from what and who? Himself??? He has a sordid past and he can’t help but wonder if it will sneak up and bring everything he has built, crashing down on him.

Gage is back at it again. He needed a break and decided to visit Spencer and finds an interesting situation that he is 100% down for. This leads to some hot and heavy MFM sex scenes and I was loving every single minute of it!

This series has been just a wonderful series to get lost in! Be prepared to get hot and bothered as the fireworks between these characters is burning hot desire!!!

This is the first book I read by this author. I was quite intrigued by the storyline and couldn’t wait to read it. I’m glad I did because it lead me to all the books in this series.

The story unfolds fairly quickly. Tessa is a doctor in the emergency room who helps young girls who are victims of human trafficking. In the hospital, she has a run in with a mysterious man who intrigues her instantly. Unfortunately, she never gets a chance to find out who he is.

By helping young girls escape their tormentors, Tessa finds herself in incredible danger. She is abducted by the bad guys and in the process, finds her mystery man. He helps her out of her situation and makes a proposal that Tessa finds herself unable to resist. Mystery man introduces Tessa to his friend and the three of them have the hottest sex imaginable! This book is erotic and passionate and sure to leave you in flames and wanting more. Luckily, there are two more books in the series to look forward too!

The Fighter is the third book in India Kells Bad Boys Romance series. I FLEW through this series. The book is a quick read and perfect in between the long novels I’ve grown accustomed too.

Oh Gage, back again to steal my heart!!!!

The book focuses on three characters. Juliet and Ten have gotten themselves in a financial pickle and need some quick cash. Ten decides to give underground fighting a chance in hopes of scoring the money they need. This rash decision leads to an even bigger dilemma and the two find themselves in the company of super hottie MMA fighter, Jonathan Gage. Gage is a no nonsense kinda guy and the three share an incredible attraction. Be prepared to get hot and bothered with this read. It’s definitely going to be steamy!!!

Perfect mix of sizzling sex, enthralling characters, and edge of your seat suspense, which kept me wanting more! SUCH a fan of India Kells and the Underground Bad Boys Romance series! Ms. Kells definitely saved the best book for last!

After being swept into steamy love triangles within the last few months, where he ended up being the odd man out, Jonathan Gage has decided to swear off sex for the immediate future and concentrate more on re-establishing his career as a successful cage fighter. Under the tough as nails exterior, Jonathan Gage has a heart as big as his body! Always quick to help someone in need, especially beautiful & intriguing men & women, Gage finds himself opening his home to a down on their luck, presumed couple that he had met at his last fight. Feeling responsible for offering the inexperienced fighter some advice that backfires, Gage invites fighter Ten and his best friend Juliet to stay at his home for awhile until they can get back on their feet. The first night at the house while Gage is in the shower, Ten comes to the bathroom to speak with him and realizes that while he is attracted to Juliet, he is also attracted Gage. Juliet faces a similar fate, as the first night there she finds herself in Gage’s bed. The sexual chemistry between the three of them is off the charts. While Gage and his house guests are living out their sexual fantasies and attempting to sort out their feelings for one another , an enemy is busy plotting his revenge against the trio.

Could not turn the pages fast enough! Quick & engaging read that I finished in just a few hours, rooting for Gage to find his happily ever after!

All I can say is OH. MY. This book will knock your socks off and leave you wanting more. This is the ending to the trilogy and while you could get by with reading it as a standalone novel it is a thousand times better reading all 3. This book has M/M/F action and is hot as sin. I’ve read a lot of this type of steamy erotic, but this is one of my favorites. Not only is it good in the layout of those scenes but the story itself is riveting as well. Oftentimes authors will skimp on the plot to pack it full of just the sexual parts, but India Kells has written a book well worth reading even if you wanted to skim over the sexual parts. (Who would want to?!). This will definitely be a reread for me in the future and I cannot wait to see what else she puts out.

Phenomenal story line, captivating characters & explosive sex….doesn’t get any better than this!!

Bad boy Spencer Knox, escaped a violent past that he isn’t proud of & decided to setup shop in a small, Colorado town where everyone knows everyone. Each morning, Knox would see this beautiful girl, walking by the lake outside his secluded cabin, despite the freezing temperatures. Didn’t take Knox long to learn that his mysterious beauty was Josie Baird, a sweet, haunted, young girl who according to his busybody secretary Georgia, is in the middle of an ugly divorce. Josie is exhausted & destitute—working three jobs and living in a run down shack close to Knox by the lake, void of electricity or running water, using every penny she earns to pay her no good husband off so that he will sign the divorce papers and finally allow Josie to be free! When a family celebration takes Knox’s secretary out of town for a few weeks, Georgia decides to take matters into her own hands and offers Josie her position until she is able to return. The attraction between Knox & Josie is immediate and intense, however neither is in a position for an entanglement….BUT the sexual chemistry is just too much to ignore and before long they are enjoying and abusing each other’s bodies. Knox’s old pal Gage, from his previous life, shows up in town and is seeking a job. Knox hires Gage on at the shop, as well as takes him in as a house guest. When Knox realizes that Josie is living in a condemned shack, he also insists that she too come & stay at his place. Sparks sizzle between the three of them until they all give into their most wicked desires. It’s all promiscuous fun, until feelings develop and jealousy rages.

With a few twists and turns along the way, the relationship between Knox, Josie, & Gage sets the pages on fire. I was completely glued to my sit, unable to flip the pages fast enough, anxious to learn of the outcome. So captivated I was able to finish reading in just a few hours! I thought book one in the series was terrific. Hard to believe that author India Kells was able to surpass the excellence of the first book, but she did! Can not wait to dive into book 3 of the series, certain that Ms. Kells will be saving the best for last!

Phenomenal read!! Captivating from the very first chapter! The characters were affable and engaging! I found myself on the edge of my seat, racing to the end of the novel to learn the outcome! Super, steamy sex scenes. First time M/F/M action and I found it very erotic. Overall fantastic read. Highly recommend!

ER Doctor, Tessa Freeman, is tired and running on fumes, I’m desperate need of a vacation, when the sexy, rugged, stranger, bad boy Locke, shows up in her ER battered and bruised. Doc knows that Mr Locke isn’t being forth coming in his account of events that landed him in the ER. The attraction between the two was instantaneous. Tessa stitches Locke up and sends him on his way, certain that their paths will not cross again, however she can’t seem to get her mind off the handsome stranger. Not long after Locke is released, Tessa gets another patient, a young girl who is very beaten and petrified, claiming to have escaped from someone powerful who has a long reach and many corrupt officials on their payroll. Not knowing who she can trust, Tessa reaches out to her friends to help hide the girl and keep her safe. When Tessa is kidnapped leaving the hospital, things don’t look good. Imagine her surprise when she encounters the handsome stranger that she stitched up earlier in the evening. Things are not what they seem and Tessa has to figure out the role that Locke is playing, while telling herself it’s just a physical (and sexually charged) attachment between the two of them.

This is a new author to me, and I can say I will certainly be reading more by her.
The book follows best friends Ten and Juliet who support each other through the struggles of everyday life, as they navigate working and studying. Their relationship is put under stress when they enter the world of underground fighting, they find they have been evicted from their apartment; enter Gage who unwittingly becomes involved in their lives, offering them somewhere to stay and then mentoring Ten for a further fight, hoping to remove both Ten and Juliet from the sights of the local fight club boss.
Stepping up and doing the right thing has started a snowball effect of changes for Gage, he finds that he becomes further involved with both of his new housemates in more ways than one.
The author manages to pull you along this emotional ride of a story involving MF, MM and MFM interaction. It’s a steamy at times read that also has heart stopping moments of angst when the darker side of the storytelling takes over. Strong Alpha males, strong women, undercover cops and gangsters all thread together really well to a slightly surprising HEA.
This is the third book in the series, so I am going to have to back track and ready 1 and 2 soon.

Gage is a strong stubborn man with a dark and difficult past who is at the end of his rope only to be literally pulled up from the depths by a stubborn woman who ends up introducing him to another intriguing man. This book will take you on a wild ride as the three struggle not only with their attractions to each other but also the trouble that’s looking for some pay back.

“It’s not important who we were, but who we are now and in the future.”
I think this quote at the end of the book sets the tone for this story of Gage, Juliet, and Ten. They all grow so much during this book and turn into completely different versions of themselves from all the self-exploration they do while trying to find out what they each want from life. This was one of the first books I have read from this author and I definitely enjoyed it. I enjoyed the second half of the book more than the first part, probably because my favorite guy was Gage, and I was rooting for him to get the girl from the beginning. The beginning for me seemed a little stilted, not as smooth, but it seemed the author found her groove and the story really took off! It definitely should have an 18 and up warning on it due to some of the content being pretty spicy. I was thrilled to bits with the ending! I would definitely recommend this book and I look forward to picking up the others in this series.

The Fighter (An Underground Bad Boys Romance, #3)The Fighter by India Kells

This final installment in the series was exactly what I was hoping for. To be honest, the end of the epilogue really brought tears to my eyes. I wasn’t expecting to become as connected with some of the characters as I did, and to see it all sewn up in the sweetest way was brilliant and not once do I feel that this author lacked in her writing style, character building, nor the ability to make everything come ( I’d spell it differently, but that would be a little much for an online review,) and I haven’t felt this level of loss at the end of a series in a bit.

Juliet and Jonathan’s story is heart-warming, and proved that chivalry truly isn’t dead, even in situations where it’s doubted that it could be alive and well. Juliet cares deeply for her best friend, Ten, and has been in love with him for as long as she can remember. Ten very much feels the same way, but it isn’t until Gage enters their lives and brings a whole new world to the surface, allowing for truths to be found and told, and for all three of them to experience a first in life experiences, together and separately. Ultimately, I think this one was my favorite, as I’ve been rooting for Gage this whole series, knowing that beneath that beastly exterior, there had to be something softer there. Give this finale a read, you certainly won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!

The Fighter is the third book in An Underground Bad Boy Romance series by India Kells. This book concludes this fantastic series which I have followed from the beginning. This book kind of brings us full circle, as Gage finally gets his HEA!!! WOOT!!! We met Gage back in book one, and he has played an important role in each book- but always seemed to ‘miss out’ on having a HEA. I am so happy that we finally get his story!!
This book could be read as a standalone, but as there are recurring characters and other important details contained in the previous two books, I highly recommend reading those books before starting on this sizzling instalment.
This is a superb romantic suspense- and as with the other two books, this has a ménage/threesome aspect to the story too. The story is wonderfully written, with more sizzlingly HOT encounters- and being set in the world of cage fighting means there is plenty of danger, drama, pleasure, pain, heartache, intrigue, suspense, and gritty tension. As with the other books, there is more to this story than just lust and the ménage- there is also a ‘deeper’ story, with beautifully flawed characters fighting their demons, discovering more about themselves, while finding love unexpectedly. I had to know how Gage’s story would play out, so I ended up devouring the book in only a couple of hours. I loved every minute and really didn’t want the book, or series, to end.
I really can’t wait to see what Ms. Kells does next!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, India Kells!

I really enjoyed this book, this author is quickly becoming one of my favorites to read. I was pulled in right from the beginning and read it in one sitting. I got a chuckle at how Gage and Juliet first met. Fate steps in and he ends up seeing her again at an underground fight.

Juliet is with Ten at a fight that they are relying on him to win so they don’t lose their apartment. Things take a twist that brings Juliet fact-to-face with Gage again who offers advice that hurts more than it helps them. Gage ends up offering them a place to stay and lets just say things take a very interesting twist. You could feel the chemistry coming off the pages. Will they all get a HEA? Or will certain choices ruin everything they have?

I really enjoyed this read and these three characters. They all had great personalities and strengths. We also get some very steamy scenes from them. We get all sorts of twists and turns that added a great element to the story. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

It encompassed me from the very first chapter. It has grit. It has passion and spice. It was enthralling and a remarkable read. Just when Johnathan Cage thought he didn’t need any one person in his life, BAM, she appears. Just when she thought she was content with her life, BAM, he appears. The stories leaves them inseparable from the very beginning. If you love page turning, spicy books then this is definitely a go-to!

While I was hoping that Book Two would follow more with Tessa and Locke and how things unfolded with the trafficking ring, I was pleasantly surprised to read this one. The author does continue with the MFM romance trope, which again for all the bi people (Including myself), is just giving everything I’ve ever needed. Once again, a quick and easy read. I had trouble sleeping this morning so I was up at 5:30 and decided to get some reading done off my TBR, and I could follow everything pretty well for being half awake. Also, full of spice and smut, and it can be read as a standalone

Tessa is a doctor working in the ER when one night, a young girl wanders in in need of saving from an underground slave ring. As Tessa makes the decision to hide this girl from her captors, she puts a target on her back. She is saved by a man, only under the agreement that she pays back her debt by staying with him.
This book is definitely full of spice and smut, and for all the bisexuals out there, fan-freaking-tastic. The M/F/M threesome trope is for sure something not seen in a lot of mainstream books, and it was for sure interesting to see here. I really enjoyed this book, it was a super quick read with shorter chapters, and I’m excited to see where the other one goes.

This is the second book in this series and oh my do I love a bad boy and in this book, you get two. Spencer and Josie’s chemistry is off the charts and add in Gage well you have a book on fire, the interactions, and conversations between the three main characters is a joy to read as always.

My only complaint is that the story is too short lol, it has all the warm and feels but has that dark under belly which just keeps you engaged in the book from start to finish. I can’t wait to read the next book in this gripping series.
