First, I must start with the cover of this novel, Faerie’s Magic by Jessica Feyden. This cover is gorgeous and really draws in the reader before they even read a word of anything. I loved it and knew I needed to read this to find out the adventure that gorgeous Faerie goes on within the novel. It was a tad slow just at first with the way it set up the story and before it really took off, but I am glad I stuck it out. This has a lot of a new fav of mine, fae! This layers in a smexy wolf shifter and plenty of magic and adventure to keep the reader guessing how things will turn out. I loved the way the world just glowed to live before my eyes as I read, the world building was immensely strong and I felt transformed to this magical place I didn’t want to leave. If you love romance, fairies and a bit of magic and shifting this is the series for you. I am anxious to get my hands on the next book in the Seasons of the Fae series!

This book was exciting in a lot of ways from the action-packed scenarios between the faes to the witches (the Norns) and the witch-shifter. It also spins you down the realm of love and what happens once they join forces to become more than anyone can reckon with. Full of action, seduction in sex, magic and all that we could ever desire from a fantasy read. This one was unexpectedly beautiful and twisted but full of twists and turns as well.

Faerie’s Magic: a fae shifter romance (Seasons of the Fae Book 2) by Jessica Feyden is a paranormal fantasy romance. It took me a little while to settle into the story, but it soon drew me in. Love was not what any one thought would happen in the most unlikely of circumstances and despite the difference between them. There is a lot of pain, betrayal and hurt in this good story, but it is all worth it in the end. A Fae princess, a wolf shifter and magic and action abound in this wonderful tale. Jessica’s writing and world building, makes it easy to venture on this journey.

Faerie’s Magic is the first book in the Season’s of the Faeby Jessica Feyden. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Feyden, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect from one of her books. But the beautiful cover captured my attention, and the intriguing blurb sealed the deal. A one-click later and I was diving in, ready to set off on this wonderful adventure. Mira, the princess of the Summer Court, has no idea that her ‘normal’ day of hunting in the forest would end up in a battle between the Fae and the Norn (shifter/witches) where she gets up close and personal with one of the enemy, and her hunting skills come to the fore. She also discovers her powers have been bound. But also, unknowingly, finds her fated mate. There is so much more to this story, but I really don’t want to spoil it for you by giving away too much. So, if you love fantasy, paranormal romance, magic, shifters, witches, adventure, action, danger, hidden agendas, fated mates, drama, angst, and superb world building- then you really won’t want to miss this book/series. Ready for Book #2.

Clíodhna has three children and a missing husband, and now finds herself in the middle of growing quarrels with the new church.
When she encounters a strange man in the woods near her house, she discovers a kindred soul, someone to teach her to harness her own innate talents and powers.
At the new church, she develops a friendship with one of the monks, and shares many conversations with him about life, philosophy, and theology. For once, it seems her life is becoming a thing to be savored rather than a thing to simply survive.
Her new teacher, however, clashes with the ideals of the church. Her relationship with the monk is another source of conflict when a new church leader arrives.
A few rash decisions means she must now change her own fate. That means choosing between her happiness—perhaps even her life—and her family. It might be better for all involved if she leaves her children with a trusted friend and disappears into another world.
Can she flee a bad situation, leaving her children to the mercies of fate? Or does she have the power and ability to face the danger herself?

Combine this love of beauty with a bit of financial sense and you get an art business. She does local art and craft shows, as well as sending her art to various science fiction conventions throughout the country and abroad.

Faerie’s Magic (Seasons of the Fae book 2) By Jessica Feyden 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Faerie’s Magic (Seasons of the Fae book 2) by Jessica Feyden. It is a story that includes action, danger, magic, and romance. It tells the tale of Princess Mira who begins to suspect that her magic has been tampered with. It also includes Cadoc, whose wolf tells him that Mira is his mate. With so much conflict will Mira and Cadoc be able to save their two kingdoms and join as mates? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has conflict and betrayal between two kingdoms. Trust is rare and not given by many. I found Mira to be intelligent and strong. Cadoc knows that Mira is his mate and will do anything to keep her safe. I grew to care about Mira and Cadoc with each chapter that I read. Other additional characters are introduced. Some of them are loyal to Mira and Cadoc. Others have plans and an agenda that is evil and selfish. Will they succeed? I enjoyed reading about the worlds of the Fae and shifters. It is interesting to read about how each has its ceremonies and traditions. Don’t miss out on a story that is exciting, entertaining, and fast-paced. I recommend reading it.

I enjoyed this fantasy story. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more from her. This is an engaging, fast paced story about Mira and Cadoc. Their relationship has had many struggles they must overcome. The question remains, will they be able to overcome the struggles life is throwing at them? I enjoyed their characters. They are well developed and made the story easy to read. They brought their world to life and their struggles felt real. This made a great afternoon read. I highly recommend this book

Fae princess, Mira, has known for years she’d find her mate and take the throne. Yet at nearly a hundred years old, she suspects someone has tampered with her magic. When the Norns arrive at the Summer Court, her suspicions are confirmed. Mira knows if she’s ever to regain control of her magic, she needs her mate to break the curse. Yet the two rival ruling queens have different plans.
Captured and tortured for his people’s crimes against the fae royals, Cadoc wants nothing to do with the faerie who shot him. Mira might be beautiful with a sassy mouth and magic in spades, but the price of having her is too high. War and death. Yet his wolf is determined to claim her his mate. When he learns she’s as much a victim as he is and his people betrayed him, Cado is determined to help her take back the throne and save both their kingdoms.
Jessica Feyden is a steamy fantasy romance and paranormal romance author from a small-town in Ohio. Her torrid love affair with books and writing started when she sought an escape from the everyday. She is working on her first series, the Seasons of the Fae, a six book menage series. When she’s not writing she can be found reading, listening to records, or browsing flea markets and thriftshops.
