Lucky Stars is a good sci fi romance story. It was a nice short book. The characters and plot was nicely thought out. The author did a good job with details of characters and the plot. This was another page turner for me. It had me wanting to know what happened next. I can’t wait to see what the next book brings!
I’m a glutton for space, aliens, adventure, and romance. And this really fit the bill. My favorite character had to be Pola. She was just so funny and goofy. I had a hard time empathizing or relating to the FMC but to be fair she IS a princess that lives in outer space. (; I found her journey and the MMC to be so fun and filled with adventure. I ended up enjoying her character a lot more when she was gallivanting with the MMC. I really feel like (MMC) Darin helped break (FMC) Princess Mora out of her shell and helped her to grow from the beginning. Also- he’s so much better than her lame-o fiancée/betrothed. I am hopeful for another installment so the adventures can continue and I can see her develop more. This was a fun read from the author and my first by them! I’m excited they have a few more works I can consume and enjoy. Their writing style was fleshed out and enjoyable to read.
An enjoyable and engaging new adult space romance, which kept me hooked from start to finish. The reader is literally taken to other worlds in this Sci-Fi, fantasy story, and the descriptive narrative brings the settings vividly to life. Princess Mora just wants to break free from the constraints of her royal duties, and so escapes onto a tour craft, which is led by rebel pilot, Darin O’Joy. Mora and Darin travel together journeying across the galaxy, whilst evading a very persistent bounty hunter. The couple can’t deny their mutual attraction or their chemistry, which comes across in the narrative. However, as their relationship develops, Mora is still keeping her true identity, of being a royal princess, from Darin. As their journey continues, Mora discovers her own strength and the joy of being independent, but she will have to choose between true love or her royal obligations. This is a fairly quick read, and I was gripped throughout. The exciting storyline and wonderful characters, along with the fantastical world setting of moon planets, princesses on the run, rebel pilots, and space pirates, kept me happily turning the pages.

At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about this book, it took me a bit to get into the story. Buy once I did I was hooked. I was so invested in the relationship between Mora and Darin. It sucks that Mora is the princess everyone is looking at since she is the first princess, and her sister Pola pretty much gets away with anything, but it seems like Mora is done being the dutiful princess. Her escapades with Darin I can tell make her feel more free than anything and her soon to be fiancé seems kind of childish. I hope somehow they don’t end up together. The ending left me hanging and I can only hope there will be more to this ride!
This book takes you to a different world! I never imagined royalty would survive in the future but here it does. The idea of building bridges is great theoretically speaking…but we all know in reality there is no easy fix to obtain peace, especially when one side prioritizes power over peace! This book takes you to a new world with a very different environment and a unique way of life. The characters are interesting and have their own ideas on what is right for the world. Easy read and a fun addition to any fantasy lover!

“A princess on the run, a rebel pilot and a dangerous secret. Will love survive the chase?”
Lucky Stars by Fantasia Yu is a fun NA sci-fi romance. I enjoyed this space adventure, and as it is my first book by Ms. Yu, I am happy to have stumbled on it and have a taste for what Ms. Yu can do. I will definitely explore more of her work in the (near) future. Ms. Yu has cleverly crafted a vivid world in which to set her story. Her writing is quite detailed and descriptive which helped to bring her whole story to life. As I mentioned this is a new adult fantasy- a sci-fi space adventure with romance, princesses, space pirates, a rebel pilot, intrigue, drama, bounty hunter, self-discovery, duty, love vs responsibility, hidden identity, secrets, finding love unexpectedly, banter, humour, and a touch of fate. This is a shorter story, which makes for a quick and easy read. I read it one easy sitting, during my lunch break at work. The story is set to continue in the next (?) instalment… looking forward to seeing what happens there. Happy reading!

Lucky Stars is a New Adult Sci Fi romance story by Fantasia Yu who is a new author. I was intrigued by the cover that caught my eye which normally I don’t take much notice of. This is her third book, and her writing is descriptive making it easy for the reader to imagine this new world that Fantasia has created. It is a space romance adventure inspired by an old movie. It is also a quick fast paced read but it is action packed. With adventure, princesses, bounty hunters, space pirates, a rebel pilot and a dangerous secrets and deceptions there is something for anyone who loves Sci Fi tales. She wants a normal life to do as she pleases and be with whomever she is free to love. He wants to make amends and live a free life and it seems fate is about to step in and give him more than he thought. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees with destiny. Will they be able to be what the other needs whilst staying ahead whilst on the run. It does end with a cliff-hanger so there is more to come.
I love Sci-fi romance novels; this one is no different. It was entertaining, fast paced and really keeps the reader hooked. The author also does a good job of the reader being invested in the characters written. You really are rooting for them. It does end in a cliff-hanger so be prepared to want more to read asap. I really hope more comes soon.

I really enjoyed this sci-fi film romance. It was full of action and adventure that keeps you turning the pages. The author does an amazing job of describing to us the worlds that the characters are seeing and travelling to, it really brings the story to life. The romance is so good as well. Its 2 people from different places but coming together to create something amazing. Princess Mora has been sent to marry Prince Fidge. It is to create an alliance between the 2 worlds or so Mora’s family thought. However that isn’t what Prince Fidge’s family has planned at all. Now Mora has found this out she wants to marry him even less. All she wants is a chance to live her life her way and be free. And that chance comes in the form of Darin.
Darin is an outcast. He has connections to the space pirates and is seen as an enemy of the kingdom. All he wants to do is earn his credits so he can leave the land he is imprisoned on. He was never expecting to find love until Mrs Langley(Mora) came into his life. Together they try to make things right, to make the moon people free, to end Darin’s imprisonment. But with secrets and deception will these two have a chance of making a romance work. What will happen when Darin finds out that Mrs Langley is infact Princess Mora? This story is action packed with Sci fi adventure as well a burning romance between two people who are destined to be together even though everyone else disagrees.
I found this a quick and interesting read. All Princess Mora wants is a normal life. She gets an opportunity and takes it. It makes for a fun adventure and lets her help put things toward being right. I found the the characters to be well-written and they fit into the story line just right (even the tourist, Jake). The best part is the name of the bounty hunter (didn’t see that coming.). It’s an entertaining fantasy that ends with a cliff hanger. I hope there’s another one coming, I’ll be eagerly awaiting it.
Princess Mora breaks free from the constraints of her royal duties, escaping onto a tour craft led by the charming rebel pilot Darin O’Joy. As they journey across the galaxy, they must evade the pursuit of a persistent bounty hunter, while she grapples with her feelings for Darin, and her true identity kept from him. Will Mora be able to choose true love over her royal obligations?
This exciting romance, set in a fantastical world of princesses, space pirates, and moon planets, is the latest offering from author Fantasia Yu, author of the mermaid fantasy, Echoes: Treasures of the Deep. She is known for her imaginative environments and lovable, quirky characters. Follow along as Mora discovers her own strength and independence, all while falling head over heels for Darin. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s Roman Holiday, Lucky Stars is complete with all the heart and romance you could ask for.
