A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Bryce and Gina get off to a bit of a rocky start but thank goodness Bryce is persistent and eventually he wins Gina over ….
So Gina has sisters by choice not by blood and they’re tight , they’re soooooo good for her and I’m grateful they’re in each other’s lives !
Gina was in the army and a bomb cut her career short , she managed to save a few lives but some were lost , her scars are both physical and emotional , she sews and makes quilts which she sells at fairs and she tutors on line , a girl of many talents that deserves her own happily ever after ….
Bryce is a fire inspector and I think he’s set Gina’s heart on fire ❤️🔥 ( I couldn’t resist 😂) and won me over in a heartbeat 💓 I love how he sees Gina for Gina and reassures her without focusing on the obvious, if that makes sense !?
I loved watching Bryce and Gina discover each other and themselves , what really hit me was when she met his family , being an orphan this must’ve been something so beautiful that we so often take for granted ….
A feel good read that had me fanning myself when they got hot and heavy and the next minute I would be reaching for the Kleenex !
A Bride for Noah by Cheryl Wright

Sometime you pick up a book and as you start reading you just disappear into it and everything about it just draws you in …. This was one of those special little gifts ❣️📕
I think living and working on a farm myself I really identified with Noah and Mary .
Noah found himself in a predicament after his dad passed and our Mary needed rescuing from her father’s clutches and what could’ve been a life of misery being married off to a cruel man so the arrangement between our friends sounds ideal but o don’t think either banked on loosing their hearts to each other 🥰
Noah and Mary climbed deep into my heart and they will always have a special place there ❣️
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is the box set of books 1-3 int this amazing sci-fi series of books. It was nice to get all the books together in one set to easily read. This is a wonderful series and I highly recommend that you read it. Especially now that you can purchase a box set. If you are a fan of sci-fi you will love these books. The best part of having this box set is that you don’t have to wait for the next book to be released to continue reading. They are all right there in one. That’s the hardest part of reading series books for me. Having to wait for the next one. That’s why this is the best way to go with this series. Please pick it up and give it a read.
A Spider in the Garden by Courtney Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Living alone for two hundred years, Aranha is the last of the spider shifters.
Dag is a vampire who can walk in sunlight. The two at some point may become extinct.
Once they meet, things get complicated as Dag sees a future in Aranha’s face.
I don’t really like spiders but the cover caught my attention before I read the premise. Not often you see spider shifters in a paranormal romance novel so I couldn’t pass it up.
I am glad that I picked this up. It was a wild ride but I did not want to put this book down even with the main character being a spider shifter. It was a refreshing take on the genre. With the romance being between a spider shifter and a vampire, I will admit I was curious how that was going to work.
Overall, I really enjoyed this and recommend this people looking for something different to read.

Power Play (Astoria Bay Thunder Book 1) by C.J Cartwright
4 Stars
Levi and Brynn haven’t seen each other in ten years. The pain of a first love ending haunts them both. Neither have fully recovered from it. Many things have changed since they were teenagers. Levi is now a professional hockey player (captain no less) and Brynn is recently divorced, striving to gain her freedom and take her life back. Chance has brought them together again and their chemistry is still burning hot. Can they finally have their happily ever after or will the wounds of the past ruin their future together?
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was well written and the characters were likeable. Levi and Brynn’s chemistry was off the charts and their story is so romantic. The thing I love most is that there wasn’t too much drama. The story flowed well, it’s just a feel good read. I’m hoping to read about Tia and Bridger’s story next.

Levi has always had his eyes on hockey ever since he was a small child, now the captain of Astoria Bay his career is going great but he has always struggled with love, although his heart has always belong to the girl he left behind years before.
Brynn has had enough of life at the moment going wrong, recently divorced and looking to get her career online she is ready for a change. Hoping that her photography business will take off she is running on empty at the moment. Until she scores a job snapping pictures of a rich family hoping this will catapult her into the society circles, if only she knew what was instore.
This story was the first I had read by this author and what a well written story it was. I was drawn into the main characters from the word go and was invested in the love story which finally happened in the end. I am always in for a good Alpha male character and Levi is a lovable, strong emotional character from the start, this with the complementary strong female role in Brynn and the story jumped off the page.
I also thought he secondary characters added another dimension to the whole story and there is obviously scope for each to have their own story told. I can’t wait to read the next instalment and more instalments to come.

Road Rage (Outlaw Series Book 4) by Katrina Kantas
Road Rage is the fourth book in the Outlaw Series and can be read as a standalone. This is a MC that once you start reading you will find yourself lost in the pages and won’t be able to put it down until you’ve finished. I’m a huge fan of this author and I’ve read other books by this one is my favorite by far. It’s everything you expect from an MC and more. This is about Gem and Shep (from Rage). She’s ’s got experience with MC’s as she used to be in one. Now she’s trying to move forward from the past but now finds herself in a situation. Shep is a rider and is part of Rage a local MC. These two meet at a local grocery store where Gem currently works. There is definitely chemistry between and both have secrets. Can she survive another MC? There’s plenty of action going on and the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. It’s definitely worth the time. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Brynn is a recent divorcee and starving fine art photographer that has moved to Astoria Bay to start over and not have to call her parents to return home. Levi is the captain of the Astoria Bay Thunder, the professional hockey team of the area. Brynn and Levi have history but neither one knows they are in the same city again yet. Brynn has been hired to photograph a birthday party for a fellow Thunder players younger brother where she meets Bridger, who feels she might come in handy as a photographer in the future. Brynn is hired by Bridger to photograph the team for a calendar to raise money for the youth hockey program. That is when things begin to go downhill or do they?
A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I love a good military romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This is the third book in the band of sisters series. It can be read as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I fell in love with these characters right from the start. Once I started to read it, I could not put it down until the end. I can’t wait to see what she will write about next.
Army sergeant Gina Fisher is ready to move on with her life. She was involved in a roadside bombing and lost most of her fleet. It has been two years and she has some serious burns that will never heal. She now wears clothes to hide herself. Gina has found a passion in crafting. She teaches kids how to sew and other crafts online. Gina is at a show one day and she sees this guy that she can’t keep her eyes off. In the beginning they had a miscommunication that almost made them not meet. She is falling for Bryce fast but will he be able to see the real her or will it be too much for him?

Gem is such a strong, amazing woman. She doesn’t take crap from anyone, she’s tenacious and she isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. She’s been through so much in life, but she doesn’t let that steal away thoughts of a happily ever after for her. Shep introduces her to Rage but she knows from the beginning that he isn’t forever, he’s just for right now. There is betrayal and violence in this story that I didn’t see coming but Gem is a strong woman and she doesn’t let life keep her down for long. She keeps getting knocked down but always drags herself back up and she manages to truly find herself and her destiny along the way. This is a book with a lot of violence, but it also has some beautiful heart melting moments as well. You definitely won’t want to miss this one if you enjoy MC romances.
The Clockwork Solution by Michelle D. Sonnier
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book was better then book one.
I really enjoyed the characters in this story.
As in the first book our female main character still needs to prove herself to her family.
Is she a witch or an abomination.
This read is all about a young witch coming into her power and risking her life to save the world from powers that cannot be controlled. Disease.
There are guardians of the witches and they were my favorite.
We get to see more of this power that isn’t known to the family.
I am still not a huge fan of this story as a whole but I enjoyed the characters and I feel there is character development in the main character.
I am looking forward to the next installment of this series.
I see where the author is coming from,This is good for introduction to young adult readers.
This definitely earned four stars this was very enjoyable.
The Clockwork Witch by Michelle D. Sonnier
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I absolutely loved the plot of this book.
The idea that the author had for this was amazing HOWEVER,I don’t think it came together in a good way.
I felt very disconnected with the characters but I loved the power.
I have always been addicted to witchcraft and this was very original.
The plot of a young witch coming into her power after being destined to stay mortal.
Luckily the female main character is the first of her kind and that was very intriguing.
This story started out slow for me but it is a quick and easy read.
Not a huge fan of the book overall but it does have amazing points.
I need to read more from this author to recommend in the future.
I liked this book, I did expect to love it.
A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice

This is such a beautiful honest story.
I believe all women should read this.
A journey of loving yourself before you can love someone else.
Gina is a soldier and that touched me,
Bryce made me think of dear John but with a happy ending.
This story was so well written that I was transported into the love story.
What would you wish for if you had 100 wishes?!
That is what I thought of when I saw the cover.
A love story and a battle of truth and identity.
This story is the perfect pace and seemed very original with the character development.
This can be triggering for soldiers and their families.
I am so excited to read more from this author, add her to my collection because this could has won my heart.

Power Play: A Second Chance Hockey Romance (Astoria Bay Thunder Book 1)
I wasn’t sure about Brynn when I started this book, she seemed like she was a mess and needed to get her life together, which was totally true. She had a charm about her especially when she was awkward and uncomfortable that endeared her to me.
Levi, where do I start with him? He’s the hot Captain for the Astoria Bay Thunder who is content with living life hockey season to hockey season then Brynn shows up.
The chemistry between the two is off the charts and could have melted the rink.
I cannot wait for the next book to come out.

A Hundred Wishes (Band of Sisters)
I fell in love with Gina and Bryce the moment I met them. There was something about them that drew me in and refused to let me go.
Gina is a hero in so many ways, the fact that she’s humble about it makes her more of a hero in my opinion. She is also a crafter who does a little bit over everything which made my crafting heart very happy.
Bryce didn’t give the greatest 1st impression but thankfully that was all a misunderstanding. He loves his family, job and dogs which are all endearing but the dogs are my favorite.
I’m not sure how this author escaped me before but now that I have found her I will be looking at getting caught up with her catalog.
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
James Talisman is such a gifted author and this box set is awesome! 3 books in a series, together in one place! This Sci-Fi journey is a trip through imaginative worlds with wonderful characters and plot development. I have never been a big fan of this genre, but Talisman’s use of descriptive, colorful words and useful information had me hooked on these books from the beginning. I felt connected to the characters in the Journeys Through Collection and felt their emotions as the series progressed. Not only is this series interesting, but also highly entertaining! I cannot wait for more books by James Talisman!
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman

This is such an awesome science fiction series! You take a deep dive into the huge MultiVerse and travel through time learning all of the secrets. Definitely recommend reading them in order to fully enjoy and understand the series. Even if you are not a huge science fiction fan you will enjoy this series. The author is so descriptive in his writing that you can really visualize the places and characters in the books. I have to say I was drawn most to Matts character. He takes everything in stride and continues to persevere. Definitely recommend this series as it just pulls you into another world!
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is a great series! The characters and storyline of all novels are engaging, and the fantasy worlds created by the author are just incredible. If you like sci-fi and fantasy you would definitely enjoy this series. Sometimes the plot gets a little confusing just because of all the characters and world involved but it’s definitely worth taking the time to read because there is so much to be gained from this series. I have really enjoyed going on this Journey (get it? Haha) of books the past few years and I’m thankful to have experienced this adventure!
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Right from the get go, the Journeys through books took you on a whirlwind of a journey. Multiple point of views, and multiple points across space and time were initially confusing, but it all came together in the end. There are twists and turns that make the story not only intriguing, but unpredictable. Sci-fi isn’t normally my thing, but this story definitely held my attention from beginning to end. The characters were sometimes a bit black and white. The good characters were always good, the bad characters always bad. I would have liked to see a little more grey, but that definitely did not stop me from enjoying the series from the start. If you are thinking about giving this book a shot, I would definitely recommend it.

Tess Burton is always up for an adventure. She’s risked her inheritance to open Divine Vintage, a clothing boutique. While modeling an elegant gown from an Edwardian-era trousseau, her mind is opened to a century-old murder. Visions–seen through the eyes of the murdered bride–dispute local lore that claims the bridegroom committed the crime. Trey Dunmore doesn’t share Tess’ enthusiasm for mind-blowing visions, yet the appeal to clear his family’s tainted legacy compels him to join her in exploring the past. Aided by the dead woman’s clothing and diary, Tess and Trey discover that pursuing love in 1913 was just as thorny as modern-day. As the list of murder suspects grows, the couple fears past emotions are influencing, and may ultimately derail, their own blossoming intimacy.
A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book was a quick, easy read! Marianne Rice had me laughing, crying, and everything in between! The interactions between the two main characters, Gina and Bryce, are awkward, humorous, witty, and often electrically charged. A Hundred Wishes combines a picturesque setting with great, realistic characters and an excellent story. This is the only book I have read from the Band of Sisters series, but did not need the other books to follow along. The ending of the book makes me want to read more though! I can’t wait to read more from Marianne Rice.

This is my first book by this author/series, and I wasn’t disappointed. I love MC books and would recommend this book. I will definitely be going back to read the rest of this series.
I was sucked into the story from the beginning and was hooked all the way through. This book had action, great character chemistry, romance, mixed in with a few twists and turns. If you like MC books, then this is the book for you.
A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice

I love love love this book! Gina and Bryce don’t quite get off to a good start, mostly because of Gina. She is afraid to open up to someone, she has confidence issues and so much more. She is a strong woman who holds her own and makes a wonderful female lead. There’s not many books that have a strong and able to handle herself heroine. This book has you relating to the emotions and rooting for the romance. I loved it.
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
What an amazing series! I am writing this as I finish reading the third book in the series, but I have been hooked since the very beginning! The author has woven a wonderful tale of adventure, through his writing I was able to picture myself right along with the characters from the very first page to where I currently am at in the third book. I’ve already read through the first two books twice as I wanted a refresher prior to reading the third one, and I was just as impressed with them the second time around!
As a new author, it was astonishing to me that he wove such intricate stories for all of the main characters in the first book then slowly merge them into one by the third book. There were definitely times during my first read through that I was confused by all the storylines, but by the end of the second one on my second read through I was not.
Despite my initial concerns of the book being too much for me to follow, similar to Game of Thrones, I am so happy I ended up reading this series! It has renewed my love for SciFi, whether it be a book, television show, or movie, I have and will continue to watch and read more of this genre in the future!
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is science fiction/fantasy at its finest. In the beginning of this series, we are introduced to multiple characters, each from their own world. The description of all of these different worlds is incredible. Each and every one is so beautifully detailed. The character themselves are very well described and this combination of world and character detail makes you feel like you are right there with them. Throughout the books, the characters grow and learn. This is ideal in a series.
Really, it is like reading multiple stories, all wrapped up in one incredible book. We are taken back and forth between worlds and characters, but it is not confusing at all. If you are a fan of epic science fiction/fantasy stories, this box set is definitely for you.
Road Rage by Karina Kantas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This author is the QUEEN of dark, gritty, and intense MC romance. If violence or drug use are triggers for you, you might want to steer clear. Otherwise, don’t overlook this book! I love the strong female character and how she doesn’t let life keep her down. It reminds me of the quote, “Use your pain as fuel to make you stronger”. This is one tough chick that withstands more than anyone should have to in life, but still comes out the other side stronger. Great read!
