FIRST RULE OF BEING A NANNY—DON’T FALL FOR YOUR BOSS… Well if I were in her shoes I would find it hard not to fall for the boss. Cry Baby is a slow burn Rom Com. It is also the fourth book and last book in the Pierce Brothers series. Belinda always gives her readers a great read. I have said it before but I will say it again each book just keeps getting better and better. This fund rom com is full of sassiness, fun humour, a speck of naughtiness, a little angst, a bit of drama and a lot of passion and flying sparks. Sparks fly in this tale as Noah a broody non relationship guy finds himself thrust into the role he knows nothing about and needs help. Amy is a half glass kind of gal and navigating the broody Boss is no problem. Right? She is a professional after all. Right? I have really enjoyed this series and am sorry to see it end but I look forward to what Belinda gives us next.

This romance was a very quick read and didn’t take me any time at all to devour it. The characters are well-written and interesting. I love historical fiction, especially when the characters make me care about the story and how they develop. The dynamic between Jo and Dusty is intriguing and makes for a very sexy time! The action will keep you hooked and hoping for a happy ending. My only complaint is that it is too short. I could definitely go for some more Jo and Dusty together!

This is the 4th book in the Pierce brother series. I really enjoyed this read. While it was a light hearted romance it also covered hard areas such as death and coming to terms with a loss while being thrown into a situation you don’t expect. I loved the characters of Amy and Noah. Both of them have had traumas in their pasts and they are alike in so many ways that they are the perfect fit. However things won’t be plain sailing. They both have some walls that need breaking down and some lessons on how to let the other person in. The attraction between them simmers from the first time they meet and I love Amy’s happy, bubbly attitude and how she manages to draw Noah out of himself.
When Noah’s best friend Beth passed away he is left with more than just his grief to deal with. Beth leaves him as guardian to her 7 month old daughter. Noah had no idea on what to do with a baby so decides to hire a nanny. Amy is friends with Noahs’s brother and since she’s between jobs she decides to help out. But what happens when the one rule of not falling for the boss gets broken? With all the pressure of raising this child and finding her birth father Noah had a lot going on but he can’t stop himself from falling for the Nanny. Can they heal each other from their pasts? This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book. This is not my first book but it is one of my favorites. I enjoy her writing skills which bring life to her stories. They are engaging and hard to put down. This book is no different. The characters pulled me into their world from the start. They add so much to the story which makes it easy and entertaining to read. They are connectable and supportive of each other. They have great growth throughout the story which just added to it. The twists and turns are like no other. They had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. This is a story you don’t want to miss for sure. I highly recommend this book and this author.

All of the Pierce Brothers are amazing in their each individual ways. Noah’s best friend passes away unexpectedly an leaves him with her child. He has no idea how to handle a baby so a godsend Amy comes along. Amy doesnt just help with Amelia she also brings Noah out of his own shell. This book is truly amazing an I cant wait for the next one.

I am not as positive as to what I expected when I began reading this book but it definitely changed. A mix of Narnia and other fictional stories with a deep root in stopping a war. I have read a few books by this author and I really enjoy her light hearted writing style so I was looking forward to this book and I wasn’t disappointed. I really enjoyed the story and I loved the characters. I really liked that the story wasn’t what I anticipated to be and I love it when that happens. I’ve read about the other brothers in this series so it was great to read about Noah. I loved the slow burn between him and Amy because of their past it really suited then well that they would have this kind of relationship. The author did a really good job of getting the emotions of the characters across, I could really feel it as a reader. I loved this fourth instalment to the Pierce Brothers series and I look forward to reading more from this author again.

C.R. Alam did an amazing job of grabbing your attention and never letting it go. Rae Allen has not had a great example of successful love in her past, and she is a bit tarnished to the idea of falling in love. She is a successful travel blogger with an amazing set of friends, she is good doing life on her own. Dean, he has been broken in the past, and decided he didn’t need a woman in his life. When they meet, things might change. I love this enemies to lovers, love triangle story. Like, most romances, you have an idea where the story is going, but this journey was definitely not a straight path forward. Lots of detours, dead ends, and u turns lead to a captivating, real feel story that you can’t put down. I cannot wait to read more!

Jacklyn Stone, a strong devoted mother and wife, became saddened and distraught when her husband died. Everything she worked hard for has turned to chaos. She is pretty low and struggling to get her life back on track. When her adult children convince her to go on a vacation at Shore Lodge. Vacation? Shore Lodge? I smell a couple of rats (Dusty and Rose) who have deceived her in my opinion. Jacklyn is not on a vacation! No Spoilers Here! I love a well written Psychological Thriller and this author did not disappoint. Her story is fast paced and on point. The way she built her story up was incredible. The characters were so realistic, you had to remember this is just a story, or is it? This is truly an emotional story, a roller coaster of feelings will take over as you read this psychological thriller. I look forward to continuing this series. As well as seeing just where this author takes us.

I enjoyed this book more than I expected to. Noah is suddenly placed as guardian to Amelia when his best friend, Beth, passes away. With no knowledge of children, his brother and sister-in-law bring Amy to the rescue to nanny while Noah adjusts to being the primary caregiver. Noah, an internal person who prefers not to engage in small talk has an instant attraction to Amy, who is bubbly and charismatic. The two form a bond and develop their attraction to each other in the closeness of taking care of Amelia and searching for the real father that Beth never disclosed to anyone. The characters in this book were fabulous. I loved how the author wove in Beth’s storyline and made her a primary character and gave us a glimpse into the mom she was to Amelia for the short time they were together. Getting tidbits of Beth’s story also gave us a hint at the true Noah and what Amy finds attractive in him that others fail to notice. Noah is flawed and fails to understand how Beth trusted him with Amelia, but you see his caring and giving ways scattered throughout the book. Amy is determined to show him that he is the best father figure for the little girl entrusted to him while she battles her own personal emotions of loss and despair. There are a few topics that could be triggers to some but the author doesn’t get very deep and keeps the book lighthearted even with the sprinkle of darker subjects. There are also a few steamy scenes but I appreciate that these did not take away from the storyline and were kept minimal.

Wow! What an intense mafia romance. Viviana’s best friend is murdered by the mafia. Nazario, son of the murderer, is hot for her. I can’t tell you anymore. You have to read it to find out. The story is full of romantic suspense and drama. A definite story of good vs evil with some steam on the side. I loved the flow of the story. The characters were well-written. I was shocked to see some go dark, even as a undercover thing. Fantastic book that you should read. This author writes romantic suspense that just grabs you by the hand and says “Let’s go on a little trip.”
A sweet send off to one of the cutest romance series I’ve read. The story of Noah and Amy is touching, emotional, and romantic. I loved this story because it was totally relatable. It felt realistic when you look at the issues they were dealing with as they dealt with their growing feelings. It’s really interesting when the antagonist is your own mind. I think that’s what I loved the most. Anything can happen when you get out of your own head. I loved the fact that old friends, like Seth and Victoria, popped in for a visit. I found this to be one of those stories you can’t put down. Every free minute, I had to finish reading so I could see what happened. I definitely recommend this book, and the series.

The Liminal Space, the second book in the Antipodes series, flows really well from the first book to the second. The author keeps the story moving from one event to the others seamlessly. A few times within the book, I couldn’t stop reading to find out what happened next. All the characters are very relatable especially when they describe their life stories.

Titanian Warrior is the third book in the Titanian Chronicles. It works alright as a standalone, as each story focuses on a different pair of characters and their story, but reading the full series from the start will give you more of Hagen’s backstory. This is an enticing mythological fantasy that follows Faiza and Hagan’s struggles against the powerful and abusive Master O. Faiza has been careful about toeing the line with Master O, and trying to keep her more rebellious sister Lilith out of trouble. But Master O’s behaviour towards them is getting worse, and she can’t resist the urge to help Hagen when Master O brings the wounded stranger home. This is a romantic story with plenty of action and magic woven through. It’s a real page-turner as you’re constantly wondering if your favourite characters will be ok, and what Master O will do next. The fantasy world is well developed and I like this book moving the story to India. I’d recommend this to fans of fantasy romance looking for a new, vibrant world to explore!

5 Stars The 45th Parallel (Antipodes Series Book 6) by T.S. Simons
The 45th Parallel is the sixth book in the Antipodes Series and is Sci-Fi/Romance that will pull you in from the beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. The characters are fully developed and relatable plus they take you on quite the adventure where survival of the human race is at serious risk. This authors style of writing along with amazing characters make for a epic story. I’ve read every book in this series and I must say this one is by far my favorite yet. It’s pretty intense and keeps you turning the pages trying to figure out what is going to happen next. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Evan is part of the Billionaire elite, after the success of Jake’s blind date, Evan unfortunately is the next victim/candidate. While all his friends put forward there prospects, the dates are set in the restaurant “Blind Date” and Kayla the owner and business partner of Evan is marshal as she was with Jake, so what could go wrong.
Evan’s first date is a disaster and when he has a heart to heart with Kayla to try and get the rest of names he realises that he has feelings for her but does not want in to put the business in jeopardy if it does not work out.
Kayla has worked her socks off to get “Blind Date” to become successful business working with her silent partner Evan has been great, although over the past few months Evan and his friends have slowly creeped into the friends zone and she is happy to have some in this vast city. When her friends start scheming and convince her to be Evan’s third blind date. As they start talking to each other under the secrecy of the app she realises there is something there and would like to investigate it more, but when her business is in wreaked can she swallow her pride and accept the help from her friends and Evan.
I loved this story, this can be read as stand alone story as you have little recaps throughout the story but I do recommend Jake’s book as it is a great read. Evan and Kayla where dancing around each other in the first book and you got a sense that the chemistry between them would ignite soon but OMG i did not expect to burn as bright as it did.
The story was well written and developed and I love all the secondary characters which just enhances the story with there little subplots exploding every now and again. I can’t wait to reading the next book in the instalment and definitely can’t wait to see what happens with Catherine and Ryker.

Oh my goodness, this is another winner for this author! I am a fan of her paranormal books. This one carries a little of everything in the story. I loved the storyline. The world is up against creatures of the night..but the world has magic. The story has adventure, romance, fun (for me), drama, and a badass young woman who falls in love with one of those creatures and tries to change things. You must read this book. I recommend it. This author doesn’t disappoint with her stories.

Creatures of the Night by C.A King is an urban fantasy with the paranormal, sci-fi, dystopian, action, adventure, warriors, witches, monster hunters, supernaturals, creatures of the night, magic, danger, drama, family, challenges, and discovery. Zoe has been training to rid the world of monsters for her whole life and her whole family are dedicated to the cause. Her life is set on its course. So, what happens when she falls for in love with one of the creatures of the dark? And what does the black mist have to do with it all? This is well worth the read to find out… As expected from Ms. King, this is a very imaginative, original, and well written story. The author has a very vivid storytelling style- with detailed descriptions, rich & vibrant scene setting, and wonderfully crafted characters. Through her words a whole new world opens up to us as- offering a very intriguing read. I would definitely love to read more about Zoe’s adventures as well as other stories based in this ‘world’. Looking forward to seeing what Ms. King does next. Happy Reading…

A Mountain In the Air trilogy by Laura Koerber is a fairly quick and easy read. It contains 3 short stories which have interconnected elements. They cover quite a lot- with dystopian details, magical realism, paranormal elements, dramatic developments, messages on climate change, life & death, emotion, and more. The trilogy contains: -Coyote’s Road Trip -Raven Woman’s Tavern -A Mountain In the Air This trio offers original and interesting stories with many thought provoking elements. And, as Ms. Koerber always manages to do, she weaves her story in a way that takes the reader on a journey, while also giving them pause for thought. There’s always more to her characters, and storyline, than first meets the eye- as you will discover in this trilogy. Happy Reading!

This book was well written and captivating that I felt like i was reading a book like someone life today. This book was so amazing that it was like I was actually there watching everything unfold in front of me and seeing everything so detailed. This book is extremely fast paced but easy to follow, and I couldn’t put it down. The stories inside were so amazing and interesting characters from shaft shifters, ghosts, talking trees, animals was all the bit captivating in their own little way. this book really brought the other books together and highly recommend reading them.

This story was well written and I couldn’t put it down! Cristy and Adam were amazing characters that I was rooting for from page one.
Cristy is no stranger to the paparazzi. They love running a story about her…good or bad. So, when she joins Balefire on their tour, she knows that the paps will find a way to make a story about anything. But, she likes it that way…because if she controls the narrative, then they don’t delve too far into her past to find one of the most hear-wrenching stories of all.
Adam is mesmerized by Cristy the first time she steps foot into the room. He has been enamored with her music for a while, but seeing her in person is like an arrow straight through the heart. What starts off as hormones and adrenaline quickly turns into real feelings. But he can tell Cristy is holding back…and he is determined to find out why.
This story was like reading a movie…I could see it all running through my head. The details really painted a picture. Adam and Cristy’s story is one of lust, love, heartbreak, and acceptance. It is a reminder that when you find the person that loves you unconditionally, you can weather any storm that comes your way. I loved all the references to pop culture musical artists. For a while, I forgot this wasn’t a true story! A great book that I enjoyed every second of!

Loretta’s Caterpillar was a cute story of how caterpillars become beautiful butterflies. Loretta woke up to no more butterflies flying around her garden and she got quite upset. When she went to investigate, she saw many little eggs on leaves. She started to look after one of them that she considered her pet. She saw the egg hatch, as a caterpillar, change colors, build a chrysalis, and become a beautiful butterfly. The author always takes Loretta on an adventure teaching the reader along the way about nature. Even as an adult I learned that caterpillars always eat their shedded skin and if the butterfly has black dots that indicates it’s a boy! The author always provided a summary at the end about the subject which is a great teaching moment.
