A Mountain In the Air trilogy by Laura Koerber is a fairly quick and easy read. It contains 3 short stories which have interconnected elements. They cover quite a lot- with dystopian details, magical realism, paranormal elements, dramatic developments, messages on climate change, life & death, emotion, and more.
The trilogy contains:
-Coyote’s Road Trip
-Raven Woman’s Tavern
-A Mountain In the Air
This trio offers original and interesting stories with many thought provoking elements. And, as Ms. Koerber always manages to do, she weaves her story in a way that takes the reader on a journey, while also giving them pause for thought. There’s always more to her characters, and storyline, than first meets the eye- as you will discover in this trilogy.
