WOW!!! This book had me on edge until the very end. I don’t usually read psychological thrillers but I have to say, that might just have to change. I loved this book. The author sure has an amazing grip on keeping your mind on twists and turns. I was trying to figure out who the murderer was and was stumped. This poor family went through hell and back over and over. I could not put this book down. If you are like me and don’t usually read this genre of book. This is a great place to start. I was thinking about this book even when I wasn’t reading it. I will be reading this author again and again.

If you haven’t read any of Glede Browne Kabongo’s thrillers before, DON’T wait to get your hands on this read! I personally love a book that will grab my attention and throw my mind for a proverbial loup and this woman does it to me every single time. She has quickly become one of my favorites when it comes to thriller crime novels and I just can’t get enough. As soon as I saw that there was a new one available from her I knew I had to clear an afternoon and snag it because you won’t be able to put these down just like the title suggests. The twists and turns are so frequent that just when you think you get to a stopping point to say cook supper or adult at all you are at another and you suddenly are sucked right back into the chaos and can’t tear yourself away. Needless to say it was a pizza and movie night for the kiddos around my house for this one. NOT SORRY. This book had me in my feels too. I was empathizing with Shelby and her family but I also was wondering if she maybe had it all coming to her too? That is the beauty of the writing of Ms. Kabongo. I can’t wait to see what will come next from her and may just have to re-read this one to hold me over in the meantime!

This isnt my first book by this author but it still took me for a wild ride. I was a bit confused at first as Shelby was in one type of POV and all others were told in another and usually took reading a few sentences to realize who we were reading about.
I really enjoyed this book as it kept me guessing and kept me turning pages to see what would happen next. Really makes you wonder if someone was to watch your life how quick would they learn your routine? Cant wait to read more from this amazing author

Fool Me Twice by Gledè Browne Kabongo. It is a thrilling story- full of mystery, danger, drama, crime and investigation, suspense, chills, a creepy factor, and gripping developments that will have you on the edge of your seat. As I have come to expect from Ms. Browne Kabongo’s work, it was quite intriguing and grabbed my attention from the very first page and wouldn’t let me put it down until I had read every last word and knew how everything played out in the end.
This story has ties to the Fearless series- as Shelby Cooper is Abbie Cooper’s mother- whom we follow in the Fearless series. OMG Ms. Browne Kabongo really tests her characters and puts them through the wringer, and this story is no different. I don’t want to spoil it for you by giving too much away, suffice to say- strap yourself in for one heck of a thrilling ride!
I am definitely looking forward to more thrills from Ms. Browne Kabongo!

Thank you, Glede Browne Kabongo!

Fool Me Twice by Glede Browne Kabongo is a suspenseful thriller. There are secrets everywhere.
Overall it was a good story. I really did enjoy it! But I did notice that when changing POV’s it was first person for Shelby, but third person for the rest of the characters. I’m not sure I liked that, but maybe it’s just a personal preference.
Shelby is a leading scientist in the field of bioinformatics, she is also a wife and mother of 2… but she has some major secrets that she is keeping from everyone. She gets pulled over for a busted taillight and her life turns upside down. She is arrested for the murder of her physical therapist.
There is someone out there trying to frame her for murder and destroy the life she has built. Can she stop it before it’s too late?

A thrilling twisted ride.
This was an amazing suspenseful thriller. It is layered with deceit, envy and revenge. A word of warning, this is the type of book that you can not start when you have other things to do. Once you start it grips you and you won’t be stopping until the end. The writing just flowed and the author was very skilful in placing the twists that took me by surprise. Absolutely brilliant – highly recommend.

Fool Me Twice is another one of Gledé Browne Kabongo unputdownable and enthralling psychological thrillers. This tale is as chilling and intriguing as it is suspenseful, and your butt will be on the edge of your seat. You don’t know if you should sit or stand but you know you can’t put the book down even though the clock says you are not getting any sleep and you have work tomorrow. You will need the light on as you want to know what is hiding in the shadows. Your heart will be pounding, and goose bumps streak your body.

This is definitely Gledés niche, and I enjoy her works immensely.

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites yet. This is a suspenseful story that had me turning pages fast just to find out what would happen next. This is a well written story that is not only engaging but also hard to put down. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the beginning by the characters. They are not only connectable but they brought the story to life on each page. I enjoyed how the twists and turns had me turning pages fast. This is a story about one night that turns into a nightmare and a killer out for revenge. Shelby made such a great character, strong and determined. She truly made the story for me. A great story that is worth the pick up. I highly recommend this book.
