I really enjoy these stories about Cray and his friends. This story about Cray’s friend Hay and the journey both of them took to attend Hay’s mother’s birthday party. The journey involved many adventures that that required Hay and Cray to work with other individuals they met on the way to solve the issues. I enjoy reading this series about Cray and her many friends. Each story has an uplifting message that I feel many children need to hear.

Another outstanding story by an outstanding author. Hay and Cray are the most unlikely pair. Yet their friendship and willingness to work together is a pleasure to read about. This is most definitely a must read to all children’s libraries. Hay is headed to his mother’s house for a party. Along the way they are met with many obstacles. As the two work together they find more friends to help guide them. This story also comes with rhyming time. It was just so fun to read, and the pictures are bright and colorful. They really catch the children’s eye and interest. My children enjoyed this story and asked for it again and again.

My family and I get so excited when we pick up another book from this author as they quickly became one of our favorites! Rhyming always makes the story more fun, and these are unlike other rhyming books you’ll find. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and really do add a little more depth as you read. Somehow this author takes what seems like a complicated life lesson and makes it not only simple, but also fun! Read with the young ones in your life as we learn about the fact that accidents will occur, and what will happen if you aren’t honest. We never hesitate to pick up books from this author, and if you pick this one up, you’ll definitely see why. I highly recommend sharing this with little ones in your family and in the classroom!

I have fallen in love with Cray and his group of friends. My son is currently obsessed with foxes so we couldn’t wait to read about Hay. The story is easy for little ones to follow along and for young ones to read. It’s a great book to read if you’re wanting to go over rhyming words with kids. I enjoyed the illustrations and I’m sure kids will as well. I also liked the 8 tips to build courage by Misty Black in the end. Going over these plus the bravery from the book will also help kids wanting to encourage their friends or family.

This is the super cute story of Cray and Hay as they go to visit Hay’s mother for her birthday party. I absolutely love the lessons that Rhymes teaches little readers throughout his books (and there are more than one) and I love that he does it through rhyme. As you are reading this book out loud to your littles, it becomes very sing-songy and just such a great time. And not only do we learn valuable life lessons through very catchy rhymes, the illustrations are absolutely astounding. The colors are deep and rich and just mesmerizing. I can’t get enough of Cray and his adventures with his friends. These are fantastic books to read with your littles!

Hay Goes Home is another cute story from the Adventures of Cray series. It’s Hay’s mom’s birthday and he is bringing Cray home for her party. They meet a lot of other animals in the forest along the way. The illustrations are adorable. My 8 year old easily read it to me, but had some questions on the big words on the last page (affirmations, imperfection). The book is filled with positive messages, such as asking for help is okay, and encourage kids to be brave. These books are great for preschool and young elementary kiddos.

Beach Ball Blunder is a cute children’s story. My son enjoys the rhyming books and all the animal characters. He likes that each character in the collection has their own book, but reappear in the others from the author. The illustrations are amazing and so colorful. This story is probably my favorite, since the message is so important and one that every kiddo needs to learn how to handle- being honest with your friends and seeing how a lie can quickly get out of control.

Beach Ball Blunder by G Pa Rhymes is the third book in The Adventures of Cray Series. We meet Cray’s friend Seal Gray. Gray is having fun on the beach with his ball when it suddenly all goes wrong. We watch as Gray first denies his mistake and then does the right thing. This book is wonderful. The easy rhymes help children to engage in the story. Gray is very relatable. What child hasn’t had an accident that they were afraid to own up to? This book is great for teaching accountability. The illustrations are bright and wonderful as usual. This is another great children’s book to add to your collection.

I Read this story with my little ones today and they really enjoyed it. It kept their interest the whole time and the oldest one 9 even wanted to take over reading, and read to the younger one ❤️(and he’s not a big reader ) so that was really cool. I love when children’s books have a learning undertone to it. I totally agree about lying, it only creates the snowball on the hill effect .Also I love the artwork so much, all the colors go so well with one another, pops off the pages 🥰🥰

Beach Ball Blunder is Book Three in The Adventures of Cray on the Bay Series. It is a children’s book that follows the beach adventures of Cray the Crab and his friends, Hay the Fox, Ray the Seagull, Fay the Turtle, and in this newest adventure Gray the Seal. Told in rhymes the book tells the story of Seal Gray who is on the beach playing with his beach ball when it suddenly spins out of control causing chaos along the way. Gray sees the damage that the ball has done as it crushes his friend’s sandcastle, knocks an ice cream cone out of a child’s hand, and almost hits his friends as it bounces along the beach. He decides to lie and say the ball was not his because he feels so guilty about what has happened. Afterwards, Seal Gray is overwhelmed by guilt and sadness, so he goes to his friends and confesses that it was him and his ball. His friends are understanding, and Cray the Crab explains that lying is harmful. The friends then work together to clean up the mess along the beach. This was a wonderfully written book with cute rhymes and colorful illustrations that conveyed important messages about friendship, forgiveness, kindness, and responsibility for one’s own actions. A must read for both young and old alike.

While this one may be for slightly older than my almost two year old we still loved it. He was very interested in the picture ms throughout this story always stopping me so he could have a good look at everything. As a momma I really liked to lesson to be learned within the story. I think these books are great for kiddos. Nice and easy to read with wonderful illustrations to engage kids. Short and sweet with wonderful characters. My young one may not quite understand the lesson behind the story just yet, but he was mesmerized with the are working and we’ll definitely be keeping this one to read more times as he get old enough to understand the lesson later on. Five stars and highly recommended.

What a beautiful tale of friendship, courage, and bravery!!!

Cray the Crab and Hay the Fox are off on a journey to celebrate Hay’s mother’s birthday. In addition to the exciting journey, they encounter some roadblocks and obstacles. They rely on each other, but they also meet some new friends who can help them reach their final destination.

Hay Goes Home is a book for all ages! It teaches children how to be brave, the importance of friendship, asking for help, and building courage, but it also reminds adults of those life lessons that we sometimes forget!

The illustrations are stunning, and I love the rhyming in the book. One of my favorite features was the tips at the end to build courage. Again, this is a book that can be enjoyed by all ages!!!!

Seal Gray was playing with his beachball when all of a sudden bounced away. The ball was causing havoc on the other creatures that lived at the beach. All of his friends on the beach were upset about the chaos so Gray lied and said it wasn’t his ball. This caused all the friends to start blaming others for the mess and Gray started to feel guilty. His guilt led him to need to do the right thing, so he apologized for the ball and lying. All his friends forgave him but explained how lying only makes things worse. This was a cute lessons learned book for kids teaching them that accidents happen, but lying should not.

This is a very cute story for children to own up to their responsibilities even if things do not go right. Cray the seal loves to blay beachball. The beachball spins out of control and causes inconvenience to few of his friends. Cray initially lies that it was not his ball but later a blame game starts and things get out of control. Cray steps up and owns up his mistake which makes him a very brave seal. The rhymes are simple and meaningful and illustrations are really nice. I would recommend this book to all kids.

Beach Ball Blunder is another super cute children’s book that takes you on an adventure with cray and his friends. The illustrations are wonderful and bring the story to life. This is my favorite yet because the lesson is the same I’ve been teaching my son and that is , If you make the wrong choice or say the wrong thing there are consequences for your actions. This is a big one and it’s important to teach them about trust, friendship, telling the truth ,and forgiveness. My son is in kindergarten and we are learning about these things and more. Follow along with Gray and friends as they learn valuable lessons on their adventure. I highly recommend reading this book and my son and I are looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Beachball Blunder was a fun read that taught us about honesty and taking ownership of your actions. I personally loved the illustrations in this book. My daughter and I especially liked Cray and Fay on the playground swings. This is the third book I’ve read with my daughter by this author. It was really cool to read watch her connect and recognize characters and scenarios from previous books “remember cray’s arm?!”. She was able to really grasp the storyline with the writing and illustrations like you would hope from any children’s book. Similarly to other books in the series, there were enough challenging words to make her proud of her reading without getting discouraged. Another great children’s

Cray the crab is back with another adventure, but this time he is in a helping mood, although he is crabby at the humans who have come to visit his beach.

He has watched them have fun all day, but when they leave, they leave all sorts of trash behind and that’s not a good thing.

This is where Cray, his friends Hay The Fox, Turtle Fay, and Gull Ray go to visit Queen Mer May to find out what they can do.

What will this group of friends do to make the beach an inviting and safe place to visit?

This is a fun filled way to learn about the environment and how humans can impact it, while also teaching what you can do to help the environment yourself.
