She must learn to navigate the fine line between loyalty to her ghost bestie, Grace, and her commitment to saving her school. There is a big show coming up at the old theater in town, but that is being jeopardized by all the mischief caused by a few ghosts. Will Lauren and her friends be able to get these ghosts to leave? Or will they be forced to cancel the show? While this story seems to be aimed at a younger audience, ages from about 9 to 14, it was a fun read. Lauren and Katie are back at Amberwood. They are year 9’s this year and excited for the new term. Grace and Rodney are now free to go anywhere they wish because they are not stuck to the Amberwood grounds any longer. The adventure begins in the town theater where we meet Lillie. With the theater being torn down there is some urgency to save her.
This book was quite enjoyable and youths who enjoy some mystery and a bit of paranormal will love this continuing series. Another great read.

This was a great read for both of my kids and me! I know it is aimed towards a younger audience, but I thought the writing and flow of the story was superb. I did not read the previous three books in the series which I think was a mistake on my part. I felt a bit lost initially but picked up on things after a while. I recommend reading them in order to avoid confusion and gain a better understanding of the characters. Lauren and her friends seem to find themselves in quite the adventure that is not all fun and games. There are mischievous things happening around the school and their show is at risk of being cancelled. I truly loved reading this fun book with my kids and plan on picking the others up now!

This is the 4th book in the Amberwood Hall Ballet School series. It can be read by itself but I would recommend you go back and read them in order. Once again we follow Lauren and her ghost friends. This year she picks up a new friend, that not just anyone can see. Is she the cause behind all the new trouble?

I have read a few books from this author and she always surprises me. This is the fourth book of the very addictive amber hall ballet school series. You do need to read these books in order or you might get lost in what the characters are doing. I was so excited to read this one I stopped everything and read it right away. I could not put this down until I finished the whole book. I can’t wait to see what this author will write about next.
Lauren and her gang find themselves in another ghost adventure. She wants to be a friend to a new ghost in town. Lauren also is trying to get through school as well. She knows that there can be mean ghosts which is what is happening now. Lauren and her friends need to find out who is causing all the problems. The biggest show of the year is going to be canceled if they can’t stop the problems from happening. Will the figure out who is doing all this mischief or will it be too late?

This is the 4th book of the series and can be read as a stand alone book. However, if you want more details on what is going on; I highly suggest reading them in order. It will help fill in the gaps of background that you will be wanting in the beginning of this book. This book is a spirited tale that is geared for 8-13 year olds but I feel like if the reader likes a hauntingly tale that isn’t super scary this would work for them as well. I enjoyed the book and felt it was an easy read. So, if your child isn’t to terribly into reading but you are trying to encourage them to do so, this book/series might be a good start for you. It has an easy to follow plot. It has relatable characters or characteristics. The characters sure do know how to get into some mischievous situations. This is what makes the book fun. Does the show go on, will they figure out what needs to be done, or will the ghosts do what they set out to do. These thoughts are what will keep any reader turning the pages. I highly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who has a dancer in their life that loves a little mystery. Reviewed by: @bbohls

This is the fourth book in this school age children’s book. The series is about a boarding school for children not only studying the expected curriculum but also learning ballet. We continue to learn about Lauren and Grace (the resident ghost and Lauren’s best friend) in this paranormal adventure series. There’s mischief, drama, loyal friends, some misunderstandings between good friends and so much more. The author has created wonderful characters and world where young readers can learn about friendships. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading them in order. The books are geared toward 8-13 year olds but can definitely be read by those young at heart. I know I would have loved this series as a kid.

Triple Trouble at Amberwood is the fourth book in The Amberwood Hall Ballet School Series. This is a wonderfully written children’s Paranormal/Fantasy that is aimed for children ages 8-13 but young children and adults can enjoy it as well. Get ready to be taken on a adventure as Lauren and the gang are on another ghostly adventure where friendships are put to the test. There is plenty of drama, ghosts, mystery, friendship and so much more. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. We look forward to reading more from this Author.

When the ballet students decide to go into town and check out the rummage sale being held to raise money for the new community center that his being built where the old theater currently stands, Lauren and her ghostly friends, Grace and Rodney, meet a new ghost. Lillie haunts the old theater, and is attached to an item that is for sale at the rummage sale; Lauren purchases it to take back to Amberwood with her. Geared towards a younger audience, this book was a little harder to connect with but once I got into it I did enjoy it. I thought the characters were entertaining and matched the story being told really well. The book is well written and suited to the audience it is intended for. This is the sort of book that I would love to share with my children when they are a bit older. It is engaging and easy to read. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

Triple Trouble at Amberwood (The Amberwood Hall Ballet School Series) by Eleanor Dixon. This is such a great young, middle school story but even as a 54 year old lady I really enjoyed it! Its the story of a old haunted school and teenagers what’s not to love! Lauren is back in school and she is still friends with Grace and Rodney who just happen to be ghosts! When Lauren rescues a ghost from a building that is about to be torn down she doesn’t realize its not a good ghost and it brings bad things with it. When crazy things start happening at Amberwood Hall, Lauren realizes she has to find out who is behind it and why. When Lauren starts to figure out it might be the ghost she rescued what will she do? When their big productions threatens to get cancelled will Lauren put a stop to the ghost. Will this be the thing to end her friendship with Grace? I suggest reading these fun books in order just to know who all the characters are. I love this series and can’t wait for the next.

A fun and enjoyable story aimed at pre-teen age readers, however, as an adult I also thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. It’s part of the ‘Amberwood Hall Ballet School series, about a haunted ballet school. The fearless heroine of the series Lauren just wants to help a new ghost in town, but her act of kindness puts all the ghosts in danger. As she tries to put things right, amongst the strange happenings at the school her friendship with Grace is tested and she gets closer to Jay. Lauren must find out who is causing all the mischief and stop them, however she is torn between her loyalty to her ghostly best friend and her commitment to saving her school. Meanwhile, there is a prestigious show in the old theatre in the town and Lauren’s important exams are coming up. I loved the main character, Lauren and I found her to be extremely likeable, and I can imagine that she would be very relatable to those in the age range that this book is aimed at. The storyline is full of mystery, ghosts, friendship and pre-teen romance, and generally growing up. A wonderfully written story and an engaging read.

Another great read from this series. I can really imagine the authors target audience enjoying these books. They are a great length and would definitely engage the younger readers imagination. There’s lots going on in these stories but not too much to confuse readers, the story is easy to follow and understand. Lauren is a great main character and I can imagine young readers would engage with her and her friends. This book will certainly enhance a young readers imagination through the ghostly goings on.

Triple Threat at Amberwood is the fourth book in the Amberwood Hall Ballet School Adventures series by Eleanor Dixon. This book continues the ghostly adventures of Lauren (and Grace) at Amberwood Hall ballet school, whom we have met, and followed, from Book #1. This is another intriguing paranormal children’s story (missile school- ages 7 to 13) with ghosts, mystery, friendship, fun, drama, unexplained and troubling happenings, adventure, mischief/hijinks, high stakes, ticking clock, loyalty vs commitment, and a touch of the paranormal. Triple Trouble at Amberwood could be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading right from the beginning to fully appreciate the story and characters. I have been enjoying following along on this charming adventure series since the beginning, and think was this is another great instalment to the Amberwood collection. Another great little story for all ages. Happy Reading…

I dove into book 4 of this series having not read any of the previous books. This book is geared more towards 8-12 year olds but most, if not all, age groups would enjoy this book. It took me a minute to get into the story and I think it’s because I did not have a back story going into it since I skipped the first three books. However, I found this to be an enjoyable read.
There are ghosts lurking around Amberwood Hall. Some are friendlier than others and it’s up to Lauren and her friends to figure out what’s causing things to go awry at different times. When the big production at the end of the year is cancelled, there is suspicion as to who might be behind the reason.

This is book 4 in the Amberwood Hall Ballet School Series. This has been a great series for readers young and old alike. The author does an amazing job with the story making it unique and different and filled with twists and turns you don’t see coming. I would recommend reading these books in order so you get a full picture of all the characters. The mixture of a old haunted school, ghosts who are fun and and witty as well as the normal teenagers makes this a store that will keep you entertained.
We are back with Lauren and her school friends as well as her ghost friends Grace and Rodney. Lauren thinks she is doing a good thing when she rescued a ghost from a building that was about to be torn down. However this ghost isn’t all that she seems and when strange and dangerous things start happening at Applewood Hall, Lauren needs to figure out who is responsible and why. But will this be the one thing that puts a huge wedge between Lauren and her ghost friend Grace? Can Lauren rid the school of the spirit causing all the trouble or will it be too late.

I was expecting a long story but this short read was still fun regardless.
Traveling to Italy, Genie Darling goes in search of departed great aunt belongings that were sold in auction. What was supposed to be a luxurious vacation, is now a horror movie.
The auction house because an inferno and the dress of her late aunt, is also found in a pile of ash.
When a dead body is found, a mystery begins and Genie will need her Aunt to help her solve it.
It has been a while since I last read a cozy mystery. Cozy mysterious series tend to be repetitive and cause me to think that after so many bodies are found in this town, it is time to move. So the relocation to Italy, opened a vast amount of opportunities where the story and characters would not feel restricted.
The story forced me to laugh out loud a few times. I see that there are a few books in the series so I plan to read those while I wait for another installment, if there are any.

Oh how I enjoy these stories. They are perfect for the middle school age group. The middle-schoolers in the stories are such a fun group. There are few that can see the ghosts which makes it even more entertaining. I loved the mystery they had this time. The writing is perfect. The characters are well-developed for the audience written to. I recommend this series to the upper elementary to middle-school crowd.

I spent my school life in a girls’ boarding-school specialising in classical ballet and on leaving I danced professionally, touring Europe, for 4 years. After that, I ran my own ballet school in Athens, Greece for several years and simultaneously volunteered as a veterinary nurse, as my love of animals is the driving force in my life. I returned to England with my horse and my cat, and now live on a smallholding in Shropshire with my husband, various farm animals and a constant stream of pets.
I started writing while in Greece and completed a Creative Writing Course with the Writers’ Bureau. The same year, I won an annual competition in the Writing Magazine for an adult Fairy Story.
On my return to England, I wrote two children’s books, but my new life, caring for Highland Cattle, sheep, hens, and pets, coupled with extensive global travel, meant that writing for publication took a back seat. I continued my love of writing with a daily journal and amusing travel blogs of each trip.
I am now writing full time and THE GRACEFUL GHOST was my first self-published book. It was shortlisted for the UK Selfies 2021 Award and draws on my own experiences in ballet-boarding-school and early teenage life. Book two, Ballet School Boys, introduces boys to the school and book three, Ballet School Rumours continues their adventures with the resident ghosts, Grace and Rodney.
I am also working on a six-book series called TALLY AND THE ANGEL. Tally and her angel’s first adventure takes them to India. In the second book they go to Canada, in North Yukon and the third in Japan. I intend them to have adventures in Greece, Egypt, Peru – anywhere I have been, really. Each book has an extra story woven into it because every chapter starts with a paragraph telling the back story of one of the mystical elements of the story. Book One tells the story of Jophiel, the Angel. Book Two tells the story of Auric, the Spirit of Gold.
I am truly passionate about writing and have all my books professionally edited and proofread before going to print.

Ghost Takes a Vacation is a delightful, cozy mystery!
This is the second book in the series, and this one follows Genie and her dearly departed great-great Aunt Adriana as they travel to Italy for an important task at hand, obtaining some of Adriana’s possessions that are set to be auctioned off. They need these items to keep her tethered here on earth with Genie. One item of importance is a Chanel evening gown. Just when it appears there actually may be a chance for them to get it, the auction house goes up in flames! It soon becomes apparent that it was no accident and an innocent man is a victim in the fire. The two now find themselves embroiled in a new murder mystery.
I found the book a lot of fun to read. I loved the twists and turns, and the pacing of the story was perfect. I love Adriana!!! Seriously…this ghost can communicate with dogs and cats, and they are witnesses to the fire! How cool is that??? The relationship between Adriana and Genie is so sweet. The brewing romance with Matt just made the story even better!!!
I have to be honest and tell you that I have not read the first book in the series! I didn’t feel like it caused me any real confusion. However, I will be going back and reading that first book! If you love Italy and a cozy read, you can’t miss with this book!!!!

In this second installment of the Genie and Adriana Darling mysteries, you follow a girl and her ghost aunt. Even though this is the second book, it is a stand alone though I always recommend reading the first because you get more details. Genie and her aunt love to travel and get wrapped in fun mysteries. Adriana will have you bubbling with laughter as they figure out how the auction house burnt down. A great read.

They are now on a mission to find several items that once belonged to Adriana so that these items might help ground her to this existence. They are headed to Italy where they have learned that some of these items might be found. But will they be able to get more of these items or will they be bought by others or lost completely to a fire. What all could go wrong on this mission to help Adriana and will Genie be involved in more than she bargained for?

This is the second book in the Genie and Adriana Darling Cozy Paranormal Ghost Mysteries series. I love a cozy mystery and I love paranormal stories so combining the two was right up my street. I loved the idea behind the story, the deceased great-great aunt needing her old belongings to strengthen her and the search for these items resulting Genie and Adriana sleuthing about. It’s a fun and easy read, perfect for curling up in front of the fire. I really enjoyed the dynamics of the relationship between Genie and Adriana, they have a great relationship and individual skills that come together nicely in their attempts to solve the mystery. The characters are fun and lovable, and I will certainly be going back to read the first book because I just can’t get enough of them! I think Adriana’s gift is my absolute favourite and makes for some funny content. I won’t spoil it for people, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I can’t wait to get my hands on more from this series.

This is my first Radtke and I found it quite entertaining. The imagery of traveling through Italy was great as Genie is on a quest to help her Great-Great-Aunt, Adrianna, who is a ghost who is missing her dearly departed earthly belongings. They take a trip over to Italy only to end up in some unexpected circumstances. Arson, murder and this dynamic duo are back on the mission in finding out what is going on. It is a great quick read and great for those who enjoy cozy mysteries!

Genie and her great-great aunt Adriana, who happens to be a ghost, are travelling to Italy. While there, they find themselves in the middle of a mystery that they would love to solve. There is an auction house that is holding onto some of Adriana’s belongings and they are about to auction them off to the highest bidder. Genie plans to purchase as many items as possible, as those items help Adriana to maintain her connection to the present world. When a fire takes place and the location is deemed a total loss, not everything is adding up. It’s up to Genie and Adriana to solve this mystery.
This was a fun read! I love Adriana, she’s a hoot with all her antics! She talks to animals too, and they make great witnesses! While this is the second book in a series, this could be read as a standalone.
