I can’t wait to follow this series! Joe Grace has finally hit the big time in his band, Gracefall, where he is the drummer. He has everything he could ever want…except THE girl – his best friend, Mel. Mel’s father is a rock legend, as well as the one who taught Joe everything he knows about the world of rock n roll – including the lifestyle.

Mel has sworn to never date a rocker after watching what it did to her parents. Joe has never wanted to hurt Melody, and she is his endgame. They both look at past experiences in their lives to lead them to make the choices they have. Will becoming Gracefall’s tour manager give them the opportunity to get to know each other on a romantic level amongst all the sizzling chemistry, or will it push them towards others? Will tragedy lead them to being together and making their relationship stronger than ever? This book is definitely worth the read to answer your questions.

4 out of 5 Stars

This is an emotional ride! Joe Grace is the drummer for a rock band that is hitting the stratosphere! Joe has only had one love since he was 11 years old, Melody Sterling. Joe’s band is headlining a tour and has asked Melody to be his tour manager. Melody is rock and roll royalty. As the daughter of The God of Thunder, a legendary rocker, she has witnessed first hand what being a megastar does to love, marriage and relationships.

Coming off a major hit to her own dreams, Melody decides to give the tour a chance. While on tour, Joe is determined to show Melody that she is wrong about him and about being able to have a loving, stable, committed relationship with a rockstar. When everyone and everything seems to be out to prevent Joe’s dream from coming true, will Melody be there to pick up to hold it all together for him? Will a chance at her own dream tear them apart?

The author provides all the twists and turns, ups and downs of a long road trip in this amazing tale of love and family. Joe has to face his demons to accomplish his dream. Melody discovers that trusting the system that broke her family isn’t as easy as it seems, but it is not as hard either. I was devastated near the end of this book. The author makes sure that you feel all the feels possible, the highs and the lows. I can only hope that Dylan and Tyler are next to ride on the love bus!!!

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I love a good rock star romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the Gracefall Vicious Love Tour and what a great way to start this series. I was hooked on the first chapter. I couldn’t put this book down until the end. It only took me over a day to devour this addictive story. I can’t wait to see who she is going to write about next.

Melody and Joe have been best friends for years. Joe is a drummer to a well known band called Gracefall and they find out that they are doing a headliner tour. He is so excited when Melody says yes to joining the tour. Melody doesn’t want to fall for a rock star because she knows what type of life that brings but she keeps on feeling things for Joe she can’t explain. Will Melody and Joe become more than friends or will they figure out they can only be friends in this world?

From best friends to the love of a lifetime, this book drew me right in from the very first page. Joe and Melody have been the best of friends from the time they were kids. They never lost touch as they became adults and always harbored a secret flame for the other. I found it heartbreaking finding out about Joes childhood and how he never felt like he was good enough for her. Now that he’s finally in a better place in life he’s ready to make a move and see if he can make it work with the love of his life. It’s so fascinating following the day to day life of a rock band on the road. This book has romance, heat, tragedy and plenty of excitement that made me not want to put the book down. The ending was beautiful and made me tear up in the best possible way. I cannot read to read more of this series.

Rock Me to the Top a five-star read that will be like music to your ears. Gracefall can rock me any time, especially the drummer Joe, well he can definitely beat my drum. I loved how they were such good friends and how conflicted chemistry makes life. The will they wont they just adds to the whole drama. But don’t let the chemistry fool you, there is drama and upset that will knock you backwards. This is a great story and I can’t wait for more in the series.

Victoria Zak understands real life love stories and how they fluctuate. Even though my name is Dani, I really related to Mel, the lead female character, in the book. It resonated with me so much just how your past and the experiences that you have lived can affect your outlook on relationships and life. Victoria Zak kept the tension between the characters balanced and steamy throughout the entire book. I absolutely enjoyed this book as my first romance novel read in more than 5 years.

Rock Me to the Top: A Gracefall Rock Star Romance by Victoria Zak is a contemporary romance. This new adult romance is everything.

He fell for the deception. Joe Grace, the uber-sexy drummer, has it all except his closest friend Melody, with whom he wishes to share everything. When he hires Mel to organize his band’s tour, scorching summer evenings ignite a fresh desire that neither of them can deny, but their passion also rekindles the darkness that lurks under long-buried secrets and lies. Unless he bares his soul and puts it all on the line, he might lose the lady he loves. She was taken in by the fantasy. Melody Sterling has a long history with rock & roll. She had a front-row experience of the devastation that lifestyle had on her parents’ relationship as the daughter of a famed rocker. After that calamity, you’re dating a rock star? It’s not going to happen! Until one of her closest friends does. She joins Joe on their Gracefall summer tour, down on her luck—and presumably out of her mind—and quickly falls for the dream of his wild world. She must now decide whether her own aspirations are worth fighting for, even if it means losing the guy she loves.

I loved this story and the concept of it as well. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is my first book from this author and I can’t wait to read more.

Joe Grace and his brother Dylan along with close friends Mox and Tyler formed the band Gracefall and have been playing gigs for years but have finally landed a headlining tour. Melody is Joe’s childhood best friend whom he suddenly finds himself developing feelings for. The characters are well built and multi dimensional. Some characters are easy to relate to and love, while others are easy to dislike. The conversations and situations are very believable and not predictable. From beginning to end, this book had me entertained. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I even got angry! This book has wonderful character development and a believable storyline and struggles. I found myself rooting for Joe and Melody and cheered them on at each gain. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for love, laughs and rock and roll.

Victoria Zak knocks it out of the park with Rock Me To The Top! I absolutely love Joe and Melody’s love story! Melody falls in love with a famous drummer from the rock band called Gracefalls not only is Joe the all star drummer but her childhood best friend. This story gave me Nicolas Sparks love story feels but had enough smutty romance to it. It was hard to put it down as you go through the twist and turns with Melody living on the tour bus as GraceFalls manager and falling in love with her childhood best friend Joe. I loved that both had rough past and both come out on top of the world at the end. I found myself crying in some parts because of how much Joe loved her. I really hope there is a second book to see what happens next.

Rock Me To The Top (Gracefall: Vicious Love Tour Book One)Rock Me To The Top by Victoria Zak
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rock Me to the Top by Victoria Zak was a good first book to the Gracefall Rock Star Romance series. This book centers on Joe Grace, drummer for the rock back Gracefall, and his best friend Melody, a musician who’s hopes to join the LA Orchestra are befallen. Upon her loss of her dream, she joins Joe and his band on tour as their manager. During, this tour, Joe and Melody discover their true feelings and desires for each other and learn how to become more than just best friends.
I did enjoy this story and the deeper subject matter that it glimpses into. I was slightly miffed that Melody was a bit naive on the secrets Joe was keeping. Although I understand his secrets, I don’t understand why he felt he could not share them with Melody, as their trust for each other should never have been in question. Other than that, I really enjoyed the dynamic among all the characters in this story. I will gladly read the second in this series to discover more about Gracefall and the stories within.

Rock me to the Top is an easy-to-read romance set in the backdrop of the electric beats and growling vocals of the rock n’ roll world. I enjoyed this aspect, and liked reading the details of live concerts and life on the tour bus. Joe and Melody are childhood friends, and have the solid background of so many memories together. I found their friends-to-lovers romance to be a bit abrupt; I would have liked a more detailed build-up. I liked the character of Joe, and found his feelings and motivations to be well drawn out and believable. Melody slightly less so; I wanted to know more from her perspective about what her personality was like beyond her feelings for Joe Grace. It took awhile for her to reveal her character and what matters to her. Still, this is a fun romance with a good theme and the supporting characters round the read out nicely.

I love this book so much! Victoria Zak’s book Rock Me to the Top had me so invested in the main two characters I never wanted it to end.
Joe, the drummer of Gracefall, has just learned with the rest of his bandmates and his manager that they will be headlining their first ever summer tour. Amongst all the shock, aww, and excitement there’s only one person he really wants to share the news with. He makes that call to his best friend Melody, to not get her on the phone but Dani instead informing him that Melody is drunker than she’s ever been.
Joe has loved Melody since he met her but they promised one another that their friendship was the most important thing in their lives, so he’s kept that info to himself.
Sad but I get it, I’ve been in a situation myself while you sit by and watch as the one you love you can’t have, it’s not easy. So that hits close to home.
Melody just found out she lost a shot at getting a chair as a cellist in the LA Orchestra, her dream. Feeling like a failure she turns to “Mind Erasers” to forget the pain. I’ve been that person too and I didn’t hit my rock bottom when I did, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review today.
This book hits very close to home, but I love these characters! The way Victoria Zak wrote them independently and together is what made this story.
Joe and Melody face the obstacles of their past as well as fears of what’s to come,on their path to each other. Read it please, because you know if you got this far into this review YOU KNOW YOU WANT TOO!

This is book 1 in this series and I loved it!!
Melody Sterling is the daughter of a Rockstar and as she grew up around that lifestyle she had sworn to never get involved romantically with a Rockstar, that is until she becomes the manager for the rock band Gracefall. Joe Grace is the lead singer of the band and he has always been in love with his best friend Melody and the more he spends with her on the bands tour the more he realises how much she wants him too. Can she continue to fight her attraction for him or will she give up everything she swore she would never want and take their friendship to a different level. I can’t wait to read the next book. This book is steamy as hell.

Rock Me To The Top (Gracefall: Vicious Love Tour Book One)Rock Me To The Top by Victoria Zak
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’m giving this 4 out of 5 stars.

Joe Grace is the drummer in the rock band Gracefall that he found with his brother and two of their friends.

Melody is the daughter of a rock star and vowed to never fall into the lifestyle that destroyed her parents marriage. She is also Joe’s best friend.

When Joe invites Melody to run his tour she accepts because everything else seems like it’s following apart. Just when it seems like things might be looking up, Melody realizes she is falling for her best friend. As they find who they are together, Melody has to decide if she wants love or to follow her dreams.

Victoria Zak’s Rock Me to the Top was a fast, fun read!

While Rock stars aren’t always a trope I lean towards, I am a sucker for friends to lovers so I had to give this a chance! I wasn’t disappointed. The book was very well written, however, I feel that in some places it moved much too quickly. I wish there was more background story for the characters relationships, but watching the progression of these relationships moving throughout the story was definitely well done.

Victoria Zak did a great job with the romance and friendships throughout the story. I’m looking forward to reading book two in the series to see if we get more development and see where we go from here!

Rock-Star bad boy drummer, Joe Grace, was living his dream. But something was missing. The relationship with his best friend and long-time childhood friend has been struggling. Joe just can’t bring himself to tell Melody Sterling the deep secret that could rip her out of his life for good.
Melody Sterling is a rock star legend’s daughter who can’t seem to get her dream of playing the cello for the LA Orchestra nailed down. Her relationships, friendships and even seeing her family have been suffering and for what? One visit from her hot, sexy and now famous best friend Joe might just be the change she needs but how can they survive for two months on a tour bus with the sexual tension growing?
This page turner is full of steamy tension, funny that you can’t seem to put it down until the book is done. Victoria Zak did a great job of hooking you in and keeping you hooked right up until the last page. I was definitely excited to learn that there is a second book in the Gracefall story!!

Rock Me to the Top: A Gracefall Rock Star Romance by Victoria Zak

This is the first book I’ve read by Zak. Rock Me to the Top is a great read. I will be looking forward to other books by Zak. I hope each book is just as good as this one.

Melody is the daughter of legendary Rock Star Leo Sterling. She is also Joe Grace’s best friend. She’s always had a dream of playing for the LA orchestra, but things didn’t work out for her. The quote I chose for Melody is: “Guess I can’t totally fault Dylan for last night. I’m sure it’s going to be hard to trust the guy who stole his girl. Hopefully, we won’t have a repeat tonight at the party.”

Joe is the drummer of his own band Gracefall. He lands in LA and calls the one person who will be happy with the news he just got. Then he goes and invites her to come on the road with them. The quote I chose for Joe is: “No, I promised myself I’d give you some alone time. Grab a nap, call room service, whatever you like.”

Highly recommended for New Adult Romance.

As this was a new author to me I went in not knowing what to expect… I was enjoyably surprised by how attached and emotional I got while reading this story. These characters were interesting, relatable, and well-written. What a great start to the series and I can’t wait to read more.

Rock Me to the Top: A Gracefall Rock Star Romance (Gracefall: Vicious Love Tour Series Book 1) by Victoria Zak

This book was one I truly had a problem putting down.  I’m not sure if it was the story or the writing style the author, but I was constantly thinking about the book when I wasn’t reading it wondering what was going to happen next.  Then I got to a point that I wasn’t going to sleep until I was done.  Not going to lie, work the next day sucked.

Joe and Melody’s history growing up together made the story a little sweeter in my eyes and I couldn’t get enough of them.  The dynamic between the two of them and the guys in the band just did it for me.

There will be some frustration,  laughter swooning and tears along the journey but I don’t regret a minute of lost sleep.

A cute reluctant friends-to-lovers rockstar romance.

4.5 stars rounded up.

I’m a big fan of rockstar romances lately and this one does not disappoint. I enjoyed the backstory of Melody and Joe’s friendship. Do they push that friendship boundary and test the waters of a real relationship, or do they each suffer the yearning the have for one another? The two test their limits and resolve when Joe convinces Melody to come out on tour with Gracefall as their tour manager.

There’s some outside interference with Joe and Mel’s relationship, such as the band members and friends giving them h€ll, as well as internal issues, secrets don’t make friend. This story follows the tour and the rockstar life well, without it bogging down the story with unnecessary fluff. I also enjoyed the fact that it wasn’t mostly smut with a small portion being the storyline. We do see character growth (and heartache) from the main characters, as well as from some side characters (future books in their POV?). There is true thought and consideration from both of the MCs as to if their friendship is worth the risk of trying for more, and if their love for each other will overcome life’s obstacles and tribulations.

Can’t wait to see what happens in book 2, which is kind of teased at the end here.

Rock Me To The Top was a fairly quick read and thoroughly enjoyable.

“Rock Me to the Top” was a brilliant read. Equal parts of sweet and spicy, the story was a veritable rollercoaster ride. The relationship between Joe and Melody was long in the making, and the chemistry was off the charts. The struggle for balance between love and making dreams come true was portrayed incredibly well. The entire book felt like a natural progression, and it had me hooked from the very first interaction between the two main characters. The trope itself is well-known, but Victoria Zak did a fantastic job bringing it to life in a refreshing way.
