Productivity is Power: Five Liberating Practices for College StudentsProductivity is Power: Five Liberating Practices for College Students by Hillary Rettig
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read another Productivity of Power book and it has helped me alot so I thought I would give this one a try also. The ones that helped me the most in this book were Developing a Nonperfectionist Inner, The Perils of Overgiving, and “Unproductive” Versus “Quasi Productive” Procrastination, and Other Distractions. I’m looking forward to putting what I learned here to great use. In this the author emphasizes mindfulness and self-care, by advocating for mental well-being, she underscores that productivity isn’t just about getting more done—it’s about maintaining a healthy balance. She also emphasizes the importance of time management and provides tools to do so. With these practices it aims to empower students to take control of their time and energy, enhancing both academic performance and overall well-being.The book is well-structured, blending practical advice with psychological insights. I will definitely be recommending this to people I know.

This is not my first introduction to this author. After reading a couple of other books from this author, I 100 percent wanted to dive onto this series. Schneider’s characters and amazing world gets more interesting and complex throughout the three books, and I love it! The trilogy explores power, sacrifice, and the complexities of Shinree nature within the richly built magical world. As you read you can expect an engaging mix of adventure, intrigue, and emotional depth throughout the trilogy. Schneider’s world-building is impressive, creating a vivid and immersive setting that will draw you in.The trilogy effectively balances action and emotional depth, with well-crafted subplots that enrich the main storyline. Also with the power, sacrifice, and redemption resonate throughout, making the characters’ journeys feel both personal and relatable. Release (Rewind #5)Release by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’m just discovering this author in the last book series, Which means I totally have to totally go back to the start and read the rest, especially after seeing that this is basically like giving us a final glimpse of what happens with the other characters . so i was only a little lost but this book was nonetheless outstanding and i’m sad there’s no more after this but also happy because i get to start from the beginning how many people wish they can start their favorite book over like it was their first time 😂. This author’s writing is complex, and skillfully blends heartfelt romance with the complexities of personal growth and emotional healing. Also contributing to a narrative that feels both inclusive and relatable. And its ability to create a deeply emotional and authentic story makes it a noteworthy addition to LGBTQ+ literature.

Forbiddenly Yours (Titans of Chicago Series) by Anise Storm – Review by Hannah Porter

Forbiddenly Yours (Titans of Chicago, #2)Forbiddenly Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forbiddenly Yours Is the second book of the Titans of Chicago Series. After reading the first one I wanted to jump into the next story. The Professor/Student relationship was chefs kiss. It’s a trope I would like to read more about lol. This has to be my favorite one so far but we’ll see. Callum and Nicole were great characters with some great deployment throughout the story, each with their own set of flaws and personal struggles that make them relatable. The plot moves swiftly, with enough twists and turns to you well engaged. The author excels in creating an emotional connection between the characters and builds such an amazing world that you wish to be a part of. For anyone who enjoys romance with a bit of tension, passion and drama, I suggest you read not only this one but also the first one. You will not regret it, I’m the least. I can’t wait for part 3.
P.S. They really need to do something about the laws on stalking because waiting til it escalates sometimes to the point of no return is ridiculous and needs to be fixed.
