Third Time’s a Ghost (Haunted Ever After Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen – Review by Sara Shalovelo

Third Time's a Ghost: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance (Haunted Ever After, #3)Third Time’s a Ghost: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’m becoming a huge fan of Carrie Pulkinen’s. From the first book I stumbled upon, her stories have been entertaining, with great world building and relatable characters. So when I found this book, I had high hopes, as I always do. However, the beginning felt slow and dry and felt also a bit cliché. I did really love the characters that entered the story and the cross over but the story didn’t really hold my attention… until the twist. The twist took me completely off guard and offered that kind of suspense that keeps the pages turning until the end.
Though this wasn’t my favourite book by Carrie Pulkinen, I still recommend it as it completes the series.

Trent, Logan’s childhood friend and lawyer, from “Love at first hunt” inherits an old, creepy and haunted house from a relative he hardly knows. He also knows just who to call to get it off his hands. Tina, Allison’s eccentric friend, is the best real estate agent in Michigan, who reluctantly agrees to help Trent.
I’m a bit of chicken but this book had me on the edge of my seat and also had my heart racing. Carrie Pulkinen out did herself in this one for the suspense she recreated in this book had me reading with the lights on.

Love at first haunt – well, isn’t that the truth?
The story follows Allison, a down to earth woman and an ex psychic. She’s easy to like and her best friend, Tina, is down right hilarious. As the story continues, we meet Logan, the most untouchable bachelor, with a haunting past and house.
This story is full of surprises and tons of laughs. I highly recommend this fun read to all supernatural lovers!

Love at First Haunt (Haunted Ever After Book 1) by Carrie Pulkinen – Review by Elizabeth Sanchez

Love at First Haunt: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance (Haunted Ever After Book 1)Love at First Haunt: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love at First Haunt is a great book, like all of Carrie Pulkinen’s. It is the first book in the Haunted Ever After series, and is very similar to the New Orleans Nocturnes series. It is a book about ghosts, medium and psychics, but it is not at all scary. The book is very cute, funny and ironic. Allison is a medium psychic, but is afraid of ghosts after a recent incident. While at a party with her bff, she sees a ghost, and runs out crying. This sparks the interest of the house owner, Logan. In a series of encounters, they are brought together and realize they have a lot in common. Their blossoming relationship is fun to read about, and the characters are great. Despite being psychic and all, they are very realistic and relatable. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series so I can see what is to come of Trent and Tina, Logan and Allison’s best friends.

Ever liked someone and never told them? Well that’s Gage in this book. He hasnt had the best luck with women and when a blast from his past comes back into town, hes not letting her go without laying it all on the line. Erica is trying to get her theater up and running but strange things are happening and its not what you would think. Can these two make it work?

I really liked Trent and Tina in book one so was excited to see this book about them. What do you do when you inherit a house that’s haunted and the ghost wants you dead? Well this is Trent’s dilemma. Seeing characters from the first book as they’re all friends, was nice and these 2 were fun to read about.

Was my first read by this author and I was hooked from the start! Allison has a gift that would seem a blessing and a curse to most but she’s learned how to control it for the most part. When she meets Logan she can tell he too has a gift but also some other things going on as well.
This was a good book while some action happens, I also felt like their relationship was super fast and almost rushed.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Third Time’s a Ghost: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance (Haunted Ever After, #3) by Carrie Pulkinen is a fun paranormal rom-com mystery/thriller. Pulkinen hasn’t disappointed in this series. I would say it is a must read. Third Time’s a Ghost had lots of fun and witty banter. Pulkinen knows how to pull in her readers with lovable characters and a story that is intriguing. Paranormal investigator and IT genius Gage Dawson sucks at dating. Psychic medium Erica Miller is struggling to make her haunted community theater a success. Erica hasn’t seen Gage since high school. The nerdy boy-next-door she once called her best friend has grown into a man.
