You find yourself wrapped up in Jean and Blanches story and rooting for them to find out the truth. It has wonderful characters that feel like they could be your own friends you hang out with.

This author has never disappointed me. She writes such magical things that draw you in from the beginning. This is a great short story about doing the right thing even when it’s inconvenient or not as fun for you. It is great to read to your kids. This author writes in such a way that they slowly draw you in and then keep you going until the end. This book wasn’t really my cup of tea but it kept me reading and going because of the rich story of coming of age and the main character trying to figure out who he wants to be. There is a lot of things you can relate to with him. There is a great mixture of finding yourself, love, action, and mystery. If you love westerns, action packed books, or books with a little bit of everything in it with great characters then this is the book for you.

The way the writer portrays the characters it feels like you are right there with them going through everything they are going through. I love that this isn’t one of those fairytale romances that portrays life and relationships as all sunshine’s and rainbows. It’s real and gritty.
