I love this book because you get to know the backstory of one of the main characters in the other books. This gives you a deeper dive into Troy’s life and past. It keeps you going until the very end. The great thing about this book is that it could also be a stand alone book and still have all the magic, suspense, action, and humanity you need in a book. This author always has a way with words that keeps you enthralled until the very end.
