Sadie and Charlie had what they thought was a chance meeting at the local bookstore. Sadie is a bookworm that loves the local bookstore and its eccentric owner. Charlie is new to the bookstore and is only there to buy his grandmother a particular book. They bump into each other while picking out their books and again at the register. Charlie decides to buy Sadie’s book for her but somehow after the owner wraps and bags both books they get switched. Sadie decides to try and find Charlie after reading the book that was supposed to go to his grandmother. They meet again on the sidewalk as she is walking to possibly try and find him. They learn they live in the same apartment building and that he works at the coffee shop she frequents. Is this all kismet or is there possibly more to it than they see?

Sophie has recently passed and Cliver feels there is nothing left. That’s when she meets Patrick, or Shamrock as he is known to his friends and every woman he has ever had contact with. Shamrock is realizing that his life is no longer just about partying and having fun with women, it’s about finding the one that makes his heart skip a beat. It took him years to realize that love wasn’t as bad as he thought it was. There first meeting wasn’t exactly how you would think love would bloom but he found a way to show her there was way more to his reputation than what she heard. Hope to see more from Clover and Shamrock in the future.

Well after learning about Lauralee she ends up in a bar drinking her cares away and ends up meeting her new boss, even though she doesn’t know its him yet, and they end up having a one night stand. The following day at work as the merger is finally taking shape and her old boss is being escorted out of the building calling everyone feel that this is all her fault, she ends up being photographed and possibly exposed to Ben. Luc has come to believe that somehow Summer has drained his accounts and is working with other owners that he had taken over their companies as revenge. They have moved to a new city and with her dad being an investigative reporter they have ended up at the circus the night before her first day at her new high school. She decides to steer off the path and ends up back in the carnies area, where she sees a confrontation between the clowns. One in particular stands out to her due to his evil look. Abbey begins to see ghost clowns all the time but has no clue what they are trying to tell her, until 2 of her new soccer teammates end up missing. Will Abbey figure out what is going on before it is to late? Absolutely loved this book and hoping to maybe see more from Abbey in the future.
