What a fantastic book and series! Wow!!! This author has completely captured my imagination with this storyline and these characters. This book picks up right where book one leaves off so it really is best to read this in series order. But this story moves fast, has incredible imagery and detail. If you love paranormal fantasies that lend themselves to well known mythology, you’ll love this.

I. Just. Can’t. Even.

I don’t know how the author does it. I don’t like cliff hangers – basically because I don’t like waiting to read more. And it killed me to wait for this book after part one. But let me just say – this was worth every agonizing moment I didn’t have this book in my hands. The MC universe doesn’t get recognized for the depth it holds and Mellett is a master at bringing so many characters to page that you feel like you know or definitely wish could meet. Just an amazing story. Beautifully written. Just. Wow.
