Five stars.

This is a go to author for me, one I always enjoy reading. And I was thrilled to find my first audiobook release from Ms. Suen. This was a story I had previously read and I thoroughly enjoyed having the story unfold for me in a new way by hearing the narrator bring life to the author’s words. Truly a great story from start to finish only enhanced by the talented narrator. If you are looking a for a well developed story with twists and turns, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this selection.

This series locked me in from the very beginning. I love the world that Sims created with the Moore family and I have loved reading the character and storyline development. It has a great balance between romance, suspense, a sprinkle of fantasy, and just great connection. I love that it all ties back to family. Just a great addition to the series and a great way to pull it all together. It can be read alone but is one that you will more greatly appreciate by starting at the beginning. Copeland is an amazing story teller and I love what she does with fantasy. This YA fantasy continues her series and picks up where To Be A Fae Queen left us. I love how Copeland continues to develop Titania as our main character. What an epic story… anyone that enjoys the fantastic worlds of Maas will truly appreciate the gem that is this book and series. This can be read as a stand-alone but why would you want to. Start from the beginning. Then relish every page of book two. And pray the series continues because it is just that good.

Love's Refrain (The Stardust Duet, #1)Love’s Refrain by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First of all, the author immediate reels me in with the premise, recalling a beloved classic and its epic soundtrack “Somewhere in Time”. Sometimes you leave a book or movie that is based off something well known and cherished feeling a little let down. KG Fletcher DID NOT disappoint. Kat and Phillip – oh my word I love them. This book is haunting and beautiful and plays like a beautiful melody in my mind. I don’t know that my heart will survive the wait for the end of this duet. But all I know is that my heart is singing along with this beautiful tune. Give me more of that stardust melody while I go hum about the purple dusk of twilight time…
