My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Honey Gold (Murder in Savannah Book 2) by Lindsay Marie Miller continues on from book 1 Emerald Green. Here we find some answers left over from book 1 and we are thrown right into the danger and action, murder and mystery, thrills and spills. There are a lot of heart stopping moments that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. The plots just keep throwing up more drama and twists that keep you guessing. There is a lot happening and everything is not as it seems. The betrayal and secrets and lies, just keeps on coming as we learn more and more about these characters. The story continues at a fast pace that has you wondering what’s going to happen next and who will survive.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the next book.

Honey Gold (Murder in Savannah, #2)Honey Gold by Lindsay Marie Miller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Honey Gold was intriguing 4 stars read for my first book by Lindsay Marie Miller. As this is the second book in the Murder in Savannah series; I didn’t know that this series needs to be read in order. The blurb is what had me wanting to read this book; so I might have been a little confused in the beginning.

The writing and the “What will Happen Next” feel throughout the book, is what kept me turning the pages. There are little storylines in this book besides just the main story. I definitely will be going back to read the first book to fill in some gaps. I really want to know more about Tom and Addie. I’m looking forward to reading more of Tom and Addie’s story.

Ohhh how the plot thickens with book 2! You must read book one, Emerald Green, to be able to follow the adventure. Honey Gold continues where Emerald Green left off. Sneaky, slimy bad guys, dead bodies, and oh man that necklace! What can Addie and Tom do! Honestly I would have been happy if Addie had smashed it into a million pieces!

Lindsay Marie Miller pulls you into this crazy world with characters you want to just hug and some you just want to kill…again. We are lead to believe many things during this portion of the series. It seems like Tom and Addie have figured out how to be together…but then Miller gives them something else to worry about. Oh how I love Eric and Jeanine! Of course if it is too good to be true then it probably isn’t. Miller doesn’t want any of these characters to have an easy time! Eric and Jeanine have so much to work through, I think even more than Addie and Tom!

There did seem like a few gaps in the story. For example, during their time at the beach house. I felt like Tom and Addie were only there for the necklace. Didn’t anything else happen there? I believe this story could have used a little more romance and the beach house would have been a perfect place for a little more loving…but then I remember that Addie, Tom, Eric, Jeanine and many other characters in this series are just 15-17 years old. While, yes they are experiencing true love, first love and even an intense kind of love, they are still just teenagers.

I am looking forward to reading what Miller has in store for this group of young people. Will the necklace be the end all? Will there ever be a happy ending!?

Honey Gold (Murder in Savannah, #2)Honey Gold by Lindsay Marie Miller
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Honey Gold by Lindsay Marie Miller, is the second book in the Murder In Savannah Series. After reading the first book I dove right into the second book since it leaves off right after the first. Again you find yourself thrown right into another mystery surrounding the necklace. The storyline surrounding the plot, the dangers, and the family secrets grabbed me and kept me wanting more and more. While Addie has been through so much in her life and having Tom be her rock had helped her so much. These two while young, have a closeness many wished they had when they were young! This five star read had so much that I loved from the mystery, the drama, the romance. I was kept on my toes, and read this book in one sitting!
