Well I am in heaven. My favorite genre is Paranormal romance and this book really hit the spot. I love vampire romances and to add more supernatural beings into the mix has really made this a great book for me. I love how there is the lost love second chance vibe to this book I really could not put this book down. The author has a great way of bringing the characters to life. I really felt as though I was there in the thick of all the drama occurring around them. I really look forward to reading more from this author and series. This is a fast paced paranormal romance. The author clearly did her historical research on Creole, Celtic, and American history. If you struggle with foreign languages you may find a little difficulty with the creole sprinkled in the book but other than that it’s wonderful. How does the love of your life, who’s been dead for more than a minute, show up after all this time as a lawyer? Star crossed lovers will always find one another! This story has romance, fate, and humor. The sisters of the H are hilarious, the feisty h keeps her H on his toes. Great series.

This story is absolutely amazing!!! Both reluctant to meet for business dealings neither of them is interested in, Caitlin and Evarist are both strong willed and bullheaded, yet charming and enjoyable, sweet, and lovable. Their relationship is so fun, as they get to know each other while also rediscovering themselves. The author does such an amazing job creating characters that are so real with such incredible back stories. Every time you think you are figuring everything out; she throws in another head spinning plot twist. The Characters and lore intertwined into this story is so detailed and thought out making this a truly fascinating story or stories 😉

Cailtlin DeDanann is counting down the time until she can leave for her vacation. She is less than thrilled to have to add work to her vacation and it doesn’t help that Evariste Gage Arsceneaux is avoiding her at all costs. That is until Evariste gets a look at Caitlin and begins to wonder if Caitlin is his long dead wife reincarnated. With a threat surrounding them Caitlin wants answers, can she trust Evariste.
I enjoyed this one quite a bit. The story has some past present moments which gave clarity to Evariste’s past. I thought the chemistry between Caitlin and Evariste was full of charismatic banter, you are pulled in when these two are on the page with one another. I would read more from this author for sure.

I had so much fun reading House of Arsceneaux by Caterina Novelliere! This is my absolute favorite genre and I cannot pass up a good Vampire romance, but what I got was so much more! Novelliere beautifully weaves in Creole and Celtic cultures in a realistic and well researched way. She also expertly connects all aspects of this book, from past to future and from vampire to fae! House of Arsceneaux is attention grabbing and addicting, Caitlin and Gage’s journey was so much fun to go on! I loved reliving their pasts! I’ve never read anything from this amazing author before but I can’t wait to read another one of her books! She absolutely nailed it in my opinion and reminded me why I want to be an author! Thank you so much Caterina Novelliere!

I loved Caitlin and Gage’s story—fast-paced super natural romance. Caitlin is a modern woman who sets off on a job assignment only to find herself drawn to Gage, who unbeknownst to her, is her husband from her previous life. The author did a fabulous job with her world-building. I can not wait to read more by this author.

This is a new author for me which I enjoyed reading and look forward to seeing what is next for this author. This is a fast paced paranormal story where the author used details to make the story come to life. The characters are creative, strong and added to the entertaining value of the story. I enjoyed how they pulled me into their world of vampires with secrets and lies. Their destiny is theirs together but others may have something else in mind. Is there a happy ever after in store? This is a well written story where the author used details to make this story realistic. I had no issues picturing myself in this world. I enjoyed watching the growth of the plot and characters throughout. I enjoyed reading this story and I highly recommend it.

The story starts slow and can be hard to get into. The name changes did nothing to keep you following but I did love the characters, the plots, and the Morrigan. The story has a lot going on between the adventure, romance, and history; It’s a decent read. If you have some time and want to read a paranormal story this one is the one for you.

House of Arsceneaux: A Vampire Paranormal Romance Novel is the first book in the Servants of Morrigan: Immortal Creatures series. I was not sure what to expect, but I was intrigued by the title. Set in Louisiana, we meet Vampire Evariste Gage Arsceneaux, who is drawn to Caitlin DeDanann, sent to Louisiana as an investigator. Evariste knows Caitlin or recognizes her soul as his lost love. Will he be able to convince Caitlin that they are connected? This has a great setting, interesting characters, and lots to enjoy. Though a bit convoluted at points, this is an overall entertaining read. Also, the author hits a lot of territory with this one book. There is paranormal, romance, vampires, historical fiction, suspense, and more. I enjoyed the characters though I had to jot notes of current versus past names for some of the characters to keep track of everyone. I look forward to seeing what the author does next with this series. I assume there is a lot of background here to help move the series forward. If you are interested in an interesting read with some twists and turns, I recommend checking out this book.

I was absolutely blown away at how fantastic this book was. The author did an amazing job of creating unforgettable characters and descriptive backdrops for everything to play out in. I would absolutely love to visit Louisiana after reading this story. This was a fabulous book, it wasn’t a quick read, but definitely worth every page, I couldn’t put it down. Every time I thought that everything was resolved, the author threw in more plot twists that just kept making it better. Caitlin and Evariste or Gage, were just the perfect couple and the different obstacles they faced just made them even more incredible. Seeing the change and growth with both of them separately and together was wonderful. I loved all of the immortal creatures popping in and out of the story. This was an extremely well written vampire love story for the ages. I can’t wait to see what other stories the author will write.

I’m a sucker for a paranormal romance so I was all in for this book. It had me hooked beginning to end, the idea of a love that transcends time appealed to me.
The author created incredible, well-structured characters who I adored. I especially loved Caitlin – she started so relatable with her work life balance and yet as things changed and we (and she) came to know the truth she kept that relatability. Of course, I also loved Evariste. His emotions really came through as he was determined to be reunited with his lost love. The two face many dangerous obstacles and I was emotionally invested, rooting for them every step of the way.
I loved this book, and although I’ve read others with a similar premise of a returned dead love, this book was still able to be unique and at times surprising. This was the first book I’ve read by this author, but I will definitely be looking out for more!

Modern paranormal romance This book is a fast paced second chance paranormal romance. The fantasy world the author creates is well done. There’s vampires, supernatural elements, mysteries, secrets, adventure and fated soul mates. I’m a sucker for these storylines. It was an engaging and original take on vampires. This is the first book in a series so I’m looking forward to seeing where the author takes the story next. Recommend.

Caitlin was supposed to be on vacation, but a last-minute demand from her boss has her mixing some business in amongst her vacation time. She isn’t too happy about it, but there is a huge ‘business deal’ at stake- plus she isn’t given much choice on the matter. Little does she know that her trip to New Orleans is about to turn her world upside down- changing everything she thought she knew- about pretty much everything. This story is about fated mates, soul mates reconnecting after centuries apart. It is about the power of love and fighting the forces that wish to keep you apart. This is an original paranormal second chance romance with vampires, the supernatural, drama, adventure, secrets, agendas, ancient evil, danger, intrigue, mystery, and fate. I have to be honest and say that the author pretty much had me hooked from the moment I saw ‘vampire’ in the blurb and really enjoyed their take on vampire lore. 3.5 stars I have said it before, but I do love a good dark paranormal romantic story and House of Arsceneaux fits that bill. This gritty vampire romance tale is part of the Servants of Morrigan: Immortal Creatures series. Add in Catarina’s cleverly woven threads with time travel, past and present, back and forth and you get extra elements that tease and delights the senses. With secrets, vampires, a curse, immortals, fated mates and legends/gods it is a supernatural reader’s delight. With guilt, remorse, pain, suffering, longing, lust, love and ghosts from the past, ancient evil enemies and prophecies just to name a few it has everything that makes it a good story with its dark undertone. It is an action-packed original story and an intriguing read. It is told through adventure, history and memories. Caterina’s passion makes the story a vivid picture and she has thrown in a little twist and turn along the way. There is a lot going on and it did take me a while to settle in to the story and to get to know the complex characters that you will either love or you will love to hate. His world turned upside down in the worst ways. Becoming involved in a business proposition he doesn’t want he comes face to face with his past. This read will have lovers of romance, history and the supernatural delving in. I did like this story. I want to read more of Caterina’s work and see more of the other characters.

I really enjoyed this book! Vampire novels are some of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. The inclusion of other mythological creatures was well incorporated as well. There was a lot of different tropes woven through the plot and it worked surprisingly well but was a little much at times. I always love a swoon worthy vampire story.

This is an enjoyable and engaging paranormal romance which kept me hooked throughout. Caitlin DeDanann’s life is falling apart, she’s overworked, burned out and recently dumped, and then her boss ruins her vacation by sending her on another assignment. Meanwhile, Vampire Evariste Gage Arsceneaux has thrown himself into work as a much needed distraction from his guilt at loosing his wife, over three hundred years ago. When Caitlin and Evariste meet through business, Evariste is in disbelief as he stares into her unique eyes, the eyes of his long-deceased wife. Reunited at last, the immortal knows he must make use of the short amount of time they have together to remind Caitlin of their love. However, there are many obstacles against the couple having a second chance at love, including spiteful ghosts from the past. Caitlin and Evariste are wonderfully detailed characters and their connection comes across in the narrative. However, the main characters go by different names depending on the century, which can be slightly confusing especially to begin with. The unique storyline and gripping plot kept me happily turning the pages.

This was a really good paranormal romance. It was a very unique story which I haven’t read before. It was full of danger, twists and turns, Romance, curses to break and a love hopefully to be renewed. The author’s attention to detail really brought this story to life. The connection between Caitlin and Evariste. The attraction and chemistry between them is instant and hard to fight against. Evariste realises that Caitlin is his wife who was murdered hundreds of year before. In his eyes she has returned to him, to break the curse over his family. However the snag is Caitlin remembers nothing. She knows she is attracted to Evariste but she doesn’t understand why. As secrets begin to unravel and they spend time together Evariste hopes she will remember who is was and what she means to him. But things aren’t straight forward for them. Secrets are revealed by Caitlins family that has her questioning things, and with a danger lurking in the dark wanting nothing more than to separate Evariste and Caitlin again do they stand any chance of rekindling their love and saving themselves. I loved this story. I really couldn’t put it down. I was so lost and invested in their lives that every struggle felt like my own. Amazing read.

Intensely romantic!! This paranormal romance is the tale of two souls trying to find each other again. A sweet story mixed in with the vampires of Louisiana. I loved how the author wrote with the flair of Louisiana. You could read it, taste it in the descriptions of the food and the restaurants. Going back and forth to tell the story of these two souls shared so much. The interaction between Cait and Ev was flirty and humorous. I enjoyed at times watching that develop. As I read, the suspense developed. I noticed secrets pop up. Some were not who they said they were. Cait walked into the unknown. This is quite an entertaining read for paranormal romance fans.
