This was a really good paranormal romance. It was a very unique story which I haven’t read before. It was full of danger, twists and turns, Romance, curses to break and a love hopefully to be renewed.
The author’s attention to detail really brought this story to life. The connection between Caitlin and Evariste. The attraction and chemistry between them is instant and hard to fight against. Evariste realises that Caitlin is his wife who was murdered hundreds of year before. In his eyes she has returned to him, to break the curse over his family. However the snag is Caitlin remembers nothing. She knows she is attracted to Evariste but she doesn’t understand why.
As secrets begin to unravel and they spend time together Evariste hopes she will remember who is was and what she means to him.
But things aren’t straight forward for them. Secrets are revealed by Caitlins family that has her questioning things, and with a danger lurking in the dark wanting nothing more than to separate Evariste and Caitlin again do they stand any chance of rekindling their love and saving themselves.
I loved this story. I really couldn’t put it down. I was so lost and invested in their lives that every struggle felt like my own. Amazing read.
