This is a fantasy romance, something I don’t normally read. But Brooke May has become one of my favorite authors so I figured I would give this book a chance and I am so glad that I did.
Seraphina is a cupid, but not the normal stereotypical cupid we all imagine with arrows and wings and looking like a cherub. Seraphina is feisty and really sassy.
Seth is a hockey player with a playboy attitude. He goes through his pick of women on the regular. But once Seraphina gets involved that all changes.
This is the fourth book in the series, but the first that I have read. I definitely think this book functioned as a standalone, but I will be reading the others because I enjoyed this one. I definitely loved the characters in this book and have always found Brooke May to have a talent in writing books with fantastically well developed characters that jump off the page. I definitely recommend this book!
