Couldn’t put it down! First thing, it takes place in Canada! And I’m a Canadian girl 🇨🇦 and love rock and roll and hockey! 2 things I love and know well.
Hunter was amazing at showing the character growth and development, making sure the story left no holes or questions left unanswered and giving us readers our Happy Ever After!!! This is the first book I have read of Hunter’s and I really loved her writing style and short chapters (I didn’t even realize how much I prefer short chapters until now). I plan to look into more of her books now.
Amazing! Definitely recommend

I enjoyed this story. Loved the characters (well besides Tyler’s boss). Tyler has been involved in the music industry her whole life, but has been stuck at one job for many years with a crappy boss. He threatens to ruin her if she quits so she keeps chugging along til she can make a break. She is trying to get over a breakup and has sworn off dating musicians. But then her high-school crush comes back into her life and starts working with her. She doesn’t want to be in the spotlight but he wants her to take a chance. Can they come to an agreement and act on their chemistry? I couldn’t put this down, and would definitely read more from this author

Rock Crush and Roll was a cute, sexy read with two loveable but flawed main characters.

Tyler and Cary have known each other since high school. Both had crushes on each other, but each thought they never had a chance with the other. Fifteen years have passed. Tyler is a music manager, and Cary is the world-famous rock star, her company’s biggest client.

One random day, they run into each other in the office, and an afternoon of coffee becomes more. Tyler has sworn off dating musicians, and she isn’t sure how she feels about Cary’s fame and how that will affect their relationship. To complicate matters, she has the sleaziest boss, who has taken advantage of her for years. She yearns to branch out independently, but how will that affect her budding relationship with Cary? Cary isn’t about to give up on Tyler. He has waited too long to finally get “his girl.”

Tyler and Cary each lend their voices to the story through their own chapters. I enjoyed seeing their innermost thoughts and insecurities, which added dimension to their characters and made them relatable. It was enjoyable watching their road to happiness. The ending was fantastic, and I loved the addition of Tyler’s fur baby, Rory. I’m looking forward to reading more from Hunter Snow.

Rock Crush and Roll

I adored Tyler from the beginning and once I got to know her it grew from there. She comes from a musical family and her gift was helping the musicians make it and keep it. She also has the most adorable dog Rory and I would love to snuggle with him.

Cary a popular musician who is in the second half of his career will do anything for those he cares about and number one on that list is Tyler.

I think my favorite part was when they were in Austin. Having lived in the area as long as I have it made me happy to know the places they went to and that they were really places.

This was a good debut for Ms. Snow and I hope to read more of her in the future.

15 years have passed since Tyler and Cary have seen each other. They went to school together and each had a crush on the other but nothing came of it. Cary is a world famous rockstar and confirmed bachelor. Tyler is a music manager and has sworn off dating musicians. Will the make an exception since they are still attracted to one another? Rock Crush and Roll was a fun rockstar romance that I had no problem getting into. I enjoyed the easy flow of the story and the chemistry of the characters. I will definitely be looking for more work from this author.

Hunter Snow is a debut author with a background in the music industry that she shares in the writing of this romantic comedy.

This book is set in Canada so some of the geographical settings were unknown to me, as I’m not super familiar with the layout of that country(note…expand horizons!). I tried to not let that affect the story as I went along. One thing I know about Canada though is hockey, and this book had some of that! I also enjoyed the music references throughout the story. If you’re a fan of 70’s-80’s styles of music, you’ll enjoy the trip down memory lane!

Overall, a decent debut novel.

I hadn’t heard of this author before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked this book up. The cover was pretty cute and the short but sweet synopsis drew me in. I love a good rockstar romance, so I took a chance and dove in! The characters are easy to love and root for. I was invested in them from the very beginning. The sparks between Cary and Tyler are obvious and the chemistry keeps your nose stuck to the page. Will they give in to let love take over or has time taught them being vulnerable ultimately leads to heartache? This was an incredible first story to pick up from this author, and I devoured it in one day. I am excited to see more of their work and eager to recommend this book to anyone who loves the rockstar romance genre!

Reading this book was instantly engaging and relatable to the emotions of the characters. Even though I am not within the music industry in the way these characters are, it was so easy to transfix yourself as the reader to be engulfed into this world along with Tyler and Cary. Tyler is an overworked music manager who finally gains the attention of a long time, high school crush, Cary, who is a big time musician. Unfortunately being in this industry for so long and knowing the depths of how many of these musicians can be, she has sworn off from being romantically involved with musicians. But now that Cary has been connecting with her and feels connected to her, perhaps Tyler could be changing her mind to this notion. I love to see their connection grow as they work together and something more. I am also a sucker for those yearning for something they desire for so long and getting what they deserve.

Rock Crush and Roll was a cute romantic comedy. It is a romance story about a woman named Tyler Robertson who works as a music manager and Cary Kingston a long-time famous musician. Tyler grew up on Cary’s music and has had a crush on him for some time. However, she believes there is no way he would ever be into her, and she has sworn off musicians since her last relationship ended in disaster. No matter how she feels about not dating another musician, she just can’t resist Cary, but she quickly realizes that while she is in love with him, a relationship with a musician is difficult. She believes she deserves it all, but can Cary, being a musician give her that, the marriage, the family, the life?
I enjoyed this book, the characters, and the relationship they develop. I enjoyed that the author made space for both characters to present their point of view, although Cary’s was shorter than Tyler’s. Cary is down-to-earth in nature but still lives like someone privileged. However, he goes out of his way to try to be a better person for her. He goes out of his way for people and seems to be more than just the forever bachelor everyone thinks he is. Tyler was a likeable character as well. She was funny and down-to-earth, but also a go-getter. She possessed insecurities because of her past, but many times she was able to handle them better than I expected her to. Overall, I thought they made a really cute couple and I like the progression of the characters and the relationship.

I’m just “ rocking” this cover 🥰🤣and what’s in between them is even better 😉

I may have a little lost with the Canadian references but fear not google is your friend and now Canada is on my bucket list 😉🥰

Tyler works as a music manager and while she enjoys what she goes her boss Sebastian is a bit of a chop and I’d love to give him a clip around the ear 🤣 Cary Kingston is a delectable rockstar

Tyler had a crush on Cary about 15 years ago and she’s sworn off dating musicians thanks to Dave , who is a real waste of space , just for the record , anyhoo Cary has to spend time with Tyler and he’s more than a little interested and it’s got nothing to do with our canine cutie , Rory 🥰🐾 , he’s Tyler’s four legged bestie and doesn’t bark but I’m sure Rory won’t mind helping Cory in his quest to win Tyler over 🐾🥰😉 I think he enjoys being seen as Cary the man not the star everyone wants something whereas she’s just interested in the person 🥰

I loved the music references but I loved watching Tyler and Cary more , they rock in a harmonious way 🥰🙈🤣and I’ll babysit Rory anytime 🐾❣️

This is the first book I’ve read by Hunter Snow so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The synopsis sounded promising so I gave it a shot. Overall, Rock Crush and Roll was okay. There was a lot of reference to Canadian culture that I didn’t really get, but the music connections made for a fun and interesting read. The characters fell a little flat for me, lacking genuine personality, but Tyler’s close relationship with her family was so heartwarming. The book started off very slowly and finished almost too abruptly, like there was a word count the author didn’t want to exceed. It seemed like a lot of time was spent working through Tyler’s insecurities, only for most of them to end up being unfounded. Tyler and Cary’s relationship seemed rushed in places, yet stilted in others. Although this was not my favorite read, I would like to read more by Hunter Snow, as I feel like there is definite potential for an amazing book.

What a great read. Tyler is such a strong, feisty woman working in the music industry. This book was full of great characters, some that the reader will love and some that the reader will not. Following Tyler and Cary’s story is fun and engaging and takes the reader on a roller coaster of emotions as they navigate a complicated journey. As a big music fan myself, I really appreciate the behind-the-scenes look into the music industry from a managing/touring aspect. I really enjoyed this fast-paced read.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good rocker romance but this story exceeded my expectations. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters right from the start. I was hooked by the end of chapter one. I could not put it down until the end. I devoured this book and it only took me a few hours to finish this amazing story. I can’t wait to see what she will write next.

Tyler Robertson loves her job. She is a very well known music manager. Tyler has it all except a love life. She always falls for the wrong guys and now she is staying away from all the rock stars. Tyler is told they have a new Star for her to look at and it is no other than the very hot Cary Kingston. She thought she would never see him again but now they have to work together. Tyler starts to know Cary and sparks start to fly but she doesn’t want to get hurt once again. Will Tyler finally get a love life or will the past be too painful to get over?

This is a slow burn rock star romance with plenty of emotions. I really liked both the main characters in this story as they both wanted the same thing which was to be together.

Tyler Robertson is a music manager and as such has had plenty of dealing with rockstars. After some past relationship issues she has vowed to never date a musican again. However she has always had a crush on one Rockstar in particular Cary Kingston.

Cary could have any girl he wants as a mega rockstar but when he realises that Tyler isn’t like other girls who go for him, he can’t help being drawn towards her. But will she give him a chance to prove he isn’t like other musicians?
What happens when their relationship goes from professional to personal? Will Tyler be able to believe and trust that the guy she has had a crush on for years actually wants her?

This was a fun story and I liked the music industry part of it too. Tyler Robertson is a music manager but is kind of stuck in her job since her boss hates her. She is trying to find new bands and make more for herself but is struggling without the support and the ability to sign girl bands. Cary Kingston is a rockstar who is the number one musician under Tyler’s company. He shows up to the office and they get to chatting. He has a crush on her but doesn’t know how to ask her out and she also has a crush but doesn’t believe he would ever like her back. Cary asks Tyler out to a wine bar but then mentions work so she isn’t sure what the deal is. As they get to know each other, Tyler has to decide if she is going to break her “no dating musicians” rule. Cary needs to figure out how to balance touring, writing music, and a relationship. This was a fun, he falls first, romance and I would definitely pick up another book by this author.

Tyler is living her best life, career wise but relationships well that’s a different story. Scouting around trying to find the next big thing in music she would not have thought she would run into him again in her wildest dreams but there he is Cary Kingston, gods gift to women and a self proclaimed bachelor, but when they are together there is a connection even she does not to acknowledge.

Cary has has a crush on Tyler for as long as he can remember and now they are working together maybe this is the time to see where it could go but she has been hurt before and can he replace the bad memories with good. You need to read to find out.

I really enjoyed this story, it was just a nice romantic read. The characters were well written and the secondary characters added to the story and you get drawn into the main characters arc to will them together. Tyler was a strong character and knew what she wanted from her career but the venerable side to her character intrigued me more. Seeing the cocky side to Cary was good but I always love a flawed character and especially a male character is lovely to read.

This is the first book I have read from this author and loved the writing style and character development, I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future.

Rock Crush and Roll by Hunter Snow. This is the first novel by this author and I’m sure it won’t be her last. It was so good, I was turning pages way after dark! Its the story of Tyler who is a music manager and she is trying to get new talent to boost her career. She has friends and her dog but she does find rock star Cary Kingston really hot. In her career she has found that dating musicians has not ever worked out and created more problems in the long run. Cary is very attracted to Tyler and is determined to break down her walls and rules. Cary is the first rock star that has made her question her rule but she knows it only leads to bad things from past experience. Will Cary be able to break down Tyler’s walls? You get a cool look into the music industry as well in this book which was a cool feature. Also slow Burns are always the best!

Tyler Robertson is a music manager trying to discover new talent and expand her career. Her life is always busy and although she has her loyal dog, she can’t deny that when rock star Cary Kingston comes back into her life that she is attracted to him. She has a rule though, no dating musicians.

Cary has a huge crush on Tyler and does his best to ask her out, it is awkward though and he can’t get a real read on her. Can Cary break through Tyler’s defenses and prove he is worth the chance?

This was a fun read. Had a ton of characters and I thought Tyler was a woman who knew what she wanted career wise and was confident, but with relationships had a vulnerability which I enjoyed reading about. Would check out more books from this author.

While this was well written, it was slightly predictable. But very, very worth the read!
