Rock Crush and Roll is Hunter Snow’s debut novel.
A Rock star light romance that is set in Canada. It really is everything you could want in a romance book. Past hurts, fears and the growing of a relationship. A slow burn so well written, it shows all the sides of a relationship, from how difficult to all the good and positive. This book kept me entertained the entire beginning to end. The characters are so well written and relatable and likeable that I felt like I knew them. This is a fun quick read so get cozy and enjoy.

Rock Crush and Roll is the debut novel by Hunter Snow. It is a contemporary rockstar romance/chic lit story – with plenty of emotion.
Tyler Robertson hasn’t had the best experiences when it comes to love- and her past involvement with musicians, as well as her job as a music manager, have coloured her opinion, and she’s vowed to never (again) date anyone in the industry. But fate has a plan of its own, in the form of rock superstar, Cary Kingston- with a working relationship that will test both their resolves.
A slow-burn love story about overcoming fear and insecurity, taking a chance on love, letting go of the past, and finding love unexpectedly.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Hunter Snow!

Quite entertaining book. I really liked how it took a look at the relationship in the entertainment area. It felt real because it showed the good and the bad. Tyler and Cary had a lot of past to get through and a lot hurt to work through. I actually liked the slow burn to it. Being able to see them get to the point of having a good relationship and enjoying the music and the life. I loved how the author took her knowledge of the industry and incorporated that into the story. It’s well written. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

In this slow burn romance, the main characters don’t have what they crave most which is their other half. Their chance at love with an unlikely person makes for a great contemporary romance. This isn’t all the feel-good side of love, Snow did a great job highlighting the tough stuff also. The author also did a great job with character development and playing up the slow burn.
Dual POV is something I really enjoy and I feel that it added more depth to Rock Crush and Roll.

This book is a fun and lighthearted rock star romance that was easy to engage with. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and watching their relationship develop slowly over the course of the story. They had a history that drew them together and could not be denied.
I liked that this book had a different feel to it compared to other rockstar romances. It felt much less angsty and more focused on the romance. This is an enjoyable book overall by a new author and I am looking forward to discovering more.

I really did enjoy this book. It was a nice slow burn rom com that was a good palette cleanser from all of my other romantasy and dark romance book I typically read. In this book you have Tyler who has been in the music industry her entire life unfortunately she didn’t inherit the music gene from her dad that the rest of her family has. But she is making a career out of being a music manager. She meets Cary again years later, completely sworn off dating musicians, but everything that Cary does makes her question swearing them off. I had several good laughs during this entire book. I absolutely did not like Tyler’s boss. He made my skin crawl every time he came into the picture. The story was wonderfully done and was a great balance to music and normal plot which a lot of music related fiction swings one way or another. I liked reading about the music industry and the Canadian aspect of music management. I’m excited to read more from this author!

“Rock, Crush, and Roll,” Hunter Snow’s first novel, is a captivating read that has everything a reader could want. Tyler has made a vow to not dating musicians she knows what they are like. However, when she meets Cary Kingston, a popular rock star known for his avoidance of relationships, old feelings resurface. Despite her determination to keep her distance, Cary is persistent and refuses to give up easily, determined to prove himself otherwise.
The novel also delves into past hurts and fears, allowing the characters to move forward in new relationships. While there are some steamy scenes in the novel, the story remains mainly plot-focused, keeping the reader engaged and eager for more. Overall, it is a well-written, enjoyable, and relatable story. I am looking forward to Hunter Snow’s next book, as this one provided a great escape for some “me time” and fully immersed me in the musical world.

Tyler Robertson comes from a family of musicians. Her dad is a known musician. Unlike the rest of the family, Tyler doesn’t have a musical bone in her body. Ever since high school she’s had a crush on Cary Kingston. Tyler is a music manager for a company, in which her boss is a sleazy, slimy wannabe.
Sebastien and Tommy both have those vibes as creeps in the whole book. I found myself smiling like a fool in most of the book and laughing out loud at some of the banter. There are several music references and hockey references throughout this book. The friendship with Tyler, Kim and Allie is a great example of what women face in male dominated industries and sticking together to make life better as a whole. I read this book quite quickly once I got through the first couple of chapters, it sucked me in and I had to learn what happened next. This is definitely a great rom com to read.
