This was an adorable book about the true meaning of Christmas and how important it is to keep the spirit of Santa alive no matter your age. I couldn’t read this one to my little because at 5 years old, he still completely believes in Santa Claus and I will give him zero reasons to doubt. I worry for when the time comes that someone at school or in everyday life will ruin the magic for him, but this book gave me a great idea of what to do when that time comes. I will keep it and continue to pass it on to other parents I know who will be struggling with the same thing. I highly recommend it for any parent or teacher who has children around the age that begins to question what they’ve been told. It will help renew the spirit and keep the magic alive.

This was a sweet book that I would recommended for children who get to the age where they start questioning if santa is real or not. This time of life can be quite upsetting for children as something they care about for years can get taken away.
However this story is about a young boys realisation that even if Santa is exactly the person he was led to believe, that he still exists as long as people believe in him. Lucas then sets out to help his parents keep the spirit of santa alive for his younger brother.
It’s a very heartwarming story and a great idea of a way to approach that question some parents dread of is Santa real?

This story is very heart warming and inspirational story. The young man is starting to wonder if Santa is real. Mom does a fantastic job of explaining this to him in such away that he feels he has a new role to help the younger children. I found it enlightening, heartwarming. The story flowed together nicely. A great story for kids beginning to get older and question Santa.

A sweet children’s read! This book could provide a great read for parents and children struggling with the question of whether or not Santa Claus is real. This book tries to capture the spirit of Christmas and translates a positive message. It was an easy, fast read. I’d recommend for older kids and families who may be trying to help capture the spirit of Christmas and address questions about Santa Claus.

This is a brilliant book that is so well written and perfect for those with kids of this age. It is such a wonderful way to explain the meaning or Christmas and the illustrations really make it even better. My kids are too young for this book just yet but it is definitely one that I will be keeping in my baxk pocket for the first time I get asked this question. This really is a delightful book.

Absolutely perfect! The art is beautifully done and the story is everything I could want for Christmas. This is the perfect way to tell children that there is no “real” Santa Claus, but reminding them that the magic of Santa Claus is real. I really liked the author points out that there will always be a Santa Claus as long as children believe. Children believing in Santa and even adults make the Christmas season all that much more magical. This is really the perfect Christmas book for children, I highly recommend.

This was a really cute story about believing, not in Santa but in the magic that is Christmas for all people who find this season magical, I mean, people may grow up, but that doesn’t mean that they will stop believing in magic or in hope. Keeping the dream alive is half of the deed ^__^ that is the message of this story. That all of us may also be Dream Keepers.

I have two children, a boy, 4 years old and a girl, 8 years old, and last night when I read this story to them, both liked it very much, we discussed its meaning and why keeping the dream alive is important, it’s a great read not only for children to read alone, but to use this book as a reading for all class, and then discuss with the children what really it’s the meaning of Christmas how loving each other should be more important than, what can or cannot Santa bring!

Other great point is the drawings, this book has great drawings inside, reminded me of old story books, and that thought always warms my heart, as it brings me closer to when I was a child and when I started falling in love with books and reading.

I highly recommend this book, to children 4 -7 reading to them, and 8-11 to leave them reading it alone, but also that this is a great book to share ideas afterward <3

This is by far the best Christmas story I’ve ever read! It addresses the infamous question of “Is Santa real?” but in a way that doesn’t come right out and say no. This is a heartwarming story story about the magic of Christmas and keeping the magic alive for those around us. I will definitely be reading this to all the kids in my life every year. This is a perfect story for those young kids wanting to know if Santa is real; it explains it perfectly!

This story gets ☆☆☆☆☆ stars! It is one of the cutest stories to answer that age long question. Is Santa Claus real? I love how this story leaves hope for the children. This author has taken what determines a child’s feelings, and allowed them to help others believe. In all my teaching I have always said “Santa is in the hearts of all people.” As this is what I grew up hearing. These characters are as real as you can get when it comes to school peers. What an awesome way to keep Santa in our hearts. Beautiful pictures bring this story to life. I recommend this book to all parents of young children.

This beautifully written story is full of Christmas magic. The illustrations are lovingly drawn. The story is one that all parents don’t look forward to having to face. This is a delightful tale for kids who are at that age to question the magic of the man behind the suit and the reality of Christmas. The author has done a wonderful job of answering this. It is about holding on to traditions and beliefs to help others retain that childhood magic of Christmas. You are never too old to believe in a magic and the spirit of Christmas.

Mom, Is There a Santa Claus? by Susan J. Berger- illustrations by K.C. snider.
This is a cute children’s Christmas book with interesting and colourful illustrations to accompany the story. This book helps to answer the age old question that seems to come with children growing up… “is there a Santa?”/ “ is Santa real?” – this book helps to answer this difficult question with a lovely story that focuses on Lucas as he asks this question of his mother. Her response is quite heartwarming.
The overall message of the story is about not only about the magic of Christmas, but also about the importance of keeping the dream alive and being a ‘Dream-Keeper”.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Susan J. Berger!

This was a wonderful story, I feel every should should read this sweet story. Is there really Santa Clause? It is something most wonder about and will question through out their minds no matter what age. This story was very well done and gave all those tender moments of emotions. It was a story that taught me as I still am to this day, believing is seeing. if you believe in something it very much is real. Sometimes the idea of hope and our beliefs are what we have every day to get through. I loved the story and how the image of Santa was portrayed. It was beautiful, and jolly all in one, a book all children should all get to enjoy! The warmth I felt from reading was wonderful, this book made me smile. I was quite happy to partake in this story. The author made the story and memory of Santa come back to life for me, and for me that is truly touching. Enjoyed this read! I do recommend it, its something we all need to read! 🙂

This is a wonderful story of a young boy, Lucas, who starts to question the existence of Santa Clause. This book is perfect for 7-10 year olds, when they start to ask those tough questions about the magic of Christmas. My boys aren’t quite old enough yet, but I will be holding on to this book for the next year or 2 when my oldest gets curious. This book also hit home with me, to guard the dream and keep the spirit of Christmas alive.
“There will always be a Santa Clause as long as children believe, and people like you guard the dream.”

I loved this children’s holiday story. The illustrations brought the story to life and are bright and colorful. They are interactive and tell the story. This is a story about believing in Santa and getting to the age where you start questioning if there really is a Santa. A story about Lucas and how some of his friends no longer believe. But as they learn there are choices and what they choose will change things for them. This is a great Christmas book for any child. I highly recommend this book.

This was a pretty good children’s holiday book. The book provides a great way of answering the question that all kids ask “Is there really a Santa?”. This is probably a question that all parents dread one day, feeling once they ask the magic of Christmas may be lost. However, the book answers the question in a magical way by explaining the spirit of Christmas and the idea of Santa, rather than just saying nope no Santa. In the book, the young child took that message and kept the dream alive for all the believers out there. While I did think there could have been more said or pondered about by the kid who acquired this new found information, I believed that it provided a great message of how to give kids the truth they are seeking, without causing “loss”.

Though my kiddos are still too young for this book I’m really happy I read it as it gave me some insight and ideas in how to approach this question when they will inevitably ask, Is There a Santa Claus?

I love how the author kept the magic of Christmas going and I hope to do the same when the time comes. This is a book I would recommend to all parents of little ones!
