This book did not skip a beat from the last book, it picks up right from where the first book ends. The development of these characters in this book was very interesting and more in depth which I enjoyed. This phenomenal job on writing about this strange, unreal world, where things aren’t what you expect had me memorized into what was going to happen. The drama, the adventure to new lands, the conflict, culture, and just trying to make life better, was an interesting read, that I couldn’t have a better follow up book to the first. Highly suggest reading the first book adventure before jumping into Aprils and flicks second.

Once again, another amazing book in the divine devil’s series. I honestly could not put this book down just like the first one. I love the way the author is so creativity behind every story and character which makes you love the book more. I absolutely love the way this author writes I can never get enough of it. this story was action packed filled with suspense that I couldn’t put it down till I found out what happened next. This book is so well written that it makes you really wonder if it’s actually real, and sucks you into the world of Hunter, falling into a world wind of secret’s, danger, drugs, extortion, blackmail that the divine devils have to face while helping Megan a Hollywood celebrity. Another amazing book by an amazing author, I cant wait for more.

I love the action, intense suspense, excitement and fierce passion of seal team books, so when I saw this one pop up it was a no brainer to grab and get going.
Finding Bryce is the first book in the Green Brotherhood: SEAL Team XII series and has it all. I cannot wait for the next book. I think I found my next book boyfriend. Well at least until the next book.

Just One More Egg By: Lois Wickstrom 5* This was a very cute children’s book. I love that it is a spin on the tale of the ugly duckling, but also weaves in pieces of information that are science facts. This story is so sweet as it shows how far a mother’s love will go. I can see how this book would not only be good to read for fun or even for science information, but I see a much larger way that this book can be read. I am a teacher so my mind is always looking for different ways I can use picture books. When I first read this my mind went to how this book would be good when dealing with children who are adopted or in foster situations. I feel like they can see how mama warbler welcomes the cuckoo bird as if it was one of her own. This then can relate to their own lives. Such a wonderful story!

I am so happy to learn that Leon Stevens has turned this into a trilogy. I am not a fan of sci fi but the world building in this book and the first before it is amazing. I am excited to see what the third installment has in store for readers.

Fallen Star By: R. Weir 5* This is an amazing crime book. The pace was set in the first book of the series and I had high expectations for this book that I was unsure could be met. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this book was just as good, if not better, than the first. Once again, Hunter Divine is being called on to protect someone in danger. This time it is a Hollywood starlet, who is being blackmailed for things she has done that she would much rather forget. Hunter has a million different things thrown at him this time, but with the added problem of this case reminding him of the case that made him leave the U.S. Marshalls. Readers are provided with a story that I definitely could not put down. I love this series and truly hope that there are more books being planned.

The moment I heard there was a sequel to the first book in this series I snatched it up so quickly! The book starts out following the ending of the first book, with the park being partially destroyed by the earthquake, but shortly after the start the characters find themselves back in the alternate universe they discovered in the previous book. The adventure the characters find themselves in was just as good as the one in the first book, if not better in my opinion. Similar to the first, the author does an amazing job at including details of the world they are exploring to the point that it feels like you are there with them. I definitely had high expectations going into this book, and the author certainly didn’t disappoint!

This book, more or less, picks up where the previous left off. A couple months have passed and we find out that Thomas and April are keeping in touch, they are still friends. Even better, April thinks she figured it out. She believes that she has found a way back to that surreal world they had previously visited. The aperture the duo had previously used to journey to the island and find Flick was lost in an earthquake, April thinks it moved to Alaska. In no time at all the friends are gearing up for another adventure, hoping to see their old friend Flick once more.
The author does a phenomenal job in once again painting a strange, surreal world, one where things are just not quite what you expect. Of course, things aren’t quite the same as the last adventure, the changing circumstances served to add a nice bit of tension to the plot. We continue to have some fun dialog peppered with pop culture references, and a better memory for math than I have. All in all I would say this serves as an excellent follow up to the previous novella, and of course ends with another sequel tease. If you enjoyed the first, you are bound to enjoy your second trip.

Fallen Star by R. Weir is the second book in The Divine Devils Book series. It follows Hunter Divine and his crew of private investigators as they take the case of Megan Getz; a Hollywood star that is being blackmailed. This is a very action-packed book. The characters are solid and the plot is strong and intense. I especially enjoyed Hunter’s character and his crew. They definitely handled everything and got the job done. The story is very realistic and is a definite page-turner. Awesome read!

The Divine Devils By: R. Weir 5* I loved this book! The idea is fantastic and the twists and turns kept coming. More importantly, I found an author whose books I will reread and recommend time and time again. Paige’s two children are in extreme danger. Three attacks on their lives in less than that many weeks. She does the only thing a mother can do call the best person she can to protect them. The problem is, that person is also someone who broke her heart many times over. Hunter Divine answers the call and does all he can to help his past lover. He is living a very sketchy life right now but would do anything for this one that may have gotten away. The twists and turns kept coming as the book unfurls. What I loved the most was that is was so hard to put down. I am so glad that this is the beginning of a new series and I cannot wait to read the next book.

Hunter Divine is a member of the Devine Devils, a group of specialists who help to clean up after indiscretions or events which other people would deem to dangerous to even think of, but they are very good at what they do, sometimes with a dalliance or two on the way to keep things interesting, or maybe that is just Hunter. Megan Getz is a Hollywood starlet whose parents were famous on the silver screen and ever since becoming a child star, so has Megan, now it is in her own right as a star in a sitcom, as well as other projects as well, but what isn’t known is that in her private life, she enjoys a few dalliances of her own and this is why she has turned to the Divine Devils for help.
She made an indiscreet mistake in a casino in Reno with a man she saw for one night and one night only, but little did she know that she was going to be taken advantage of and extorted every month since it happened, she is now at her wits end and doesn’t know where else to turn since anyone else deemed it too dangerous to investigate. Armed with the knowledge to start off with Hunter and his team head to Reno to dig around and unearth the extorter, as well as stop them from doing anything of the like in the future, but nothing is as easy as it seems as the team go undercover as high rollers, their staff and a security guard to dig on the inside as well.
While they star their undercover antics, they play their roles well, but after the first few days nothing occurs worth mentioning, so they split off for a while leaving two team members to keep their cover and the others to ask more questions of Megan to see if there is anything they missed the first time round. It turns out there was and this leads to a promising place to really dig in deep and one team member in particular in in the perfect place, but when he uncovers more than just extortion and minor scams, the team are in for a possibly lethal ride as they try to both take down a prostitution and murder ring with ties to the local crime syndicate, as well as extricate their fallen star in the process, but can they do it with their mind, body and souls intact? This is another exciting and suspenseful, thriller which will keep you guessing throughout and on the edge of your seat as the action packed investigation plays out.

This was a fun and engaging quick story that has everything you could want out of a romance. The book was easy to connect with and I found myself reading this in just one sitting. I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters and really liked how they got to know each other. This is the exact type of book you could want for a lazy afternoon – it is easy to read, well written and an all-round enjoyable book. I am looking forward to seeing what the next book will be like.

This is an interesting story that offers a well written story line and a myriad of great characters. The book jumps between times which adds a level of detail that wouldn’t be present otherwise. For me this made the story even better and made it much easier to get caught up in. I loved the mix of characters. Although there were a lot of them, they each added something to the story and were distinct on their own. I thought the combination of personalities and character development worked perfectly for this story. This was a great book and I am pleased to have discovered a new author.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I’m now hooked. I love a good sports romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. These characters had me right from the beginning. I love that she wrote it from both of the characters’ points of views. I hope she will write more because I want to read about the main character’s best friend and her romance.
Kendall loves her job as a reporter but her job is now in jeopardy. She has to get an amazing story like no other or she loses her job. Kendall’s father is a well known fighter and he is training a new guy. She watches Chad practice and she knows how to save her job. Kendall is going into the MMA world and Chad is her main scoop. She also is starting to feel something she never felt before. Kendall and Chad get to know each other better but her job calls for more. Will Kendall get her story and the guy or will she have to pick?

This was a great short read and one that I really enjoyed. The dual point of view is great because it felt like I could really get to know both of the main characters Kendall and Chad. The author really did bring these characters to life, I found them all to be very relatable and realistic at times. I loved Kendall’s Dad – he was a great character and I loved their close relationship. Kendall was certainly tenacious in her quest for the story to save her job and Chad wasn’t going to make it easy for her. I loved them both and was secretly rooting for them the whole way through! A fantastic sports romance that is exceptionally well written! I 100% recommend this story to other readers and in particular the sports romance fans out there!

This is the third book in a series that’s fast becoming a favourite of mine. It just gets better and better with each book. I’ve been a fan of the author for a few years but I think this is my favourite series of hers. Sit in the world of the Freemasons in Australia. The series revolves around 4 best friends who are all high up in the Freemasons hierarchy. You can technically read each book as a standalone but there is a running theme/storyline that runs throughout the series In this series we get the story of Jude whose sister Renee has been abducted. Jude has put his life on hold until he gets Renee back but is finding it harder and harder to resist Sienna. I really loved Sienna and Jude’s story. It’s filled with so much drama, particularly surrounding trying to get Renee back. Jude and Sienna are great characters to read. Jude is so torn over his feelings for Sienna but feeling unable to have a relationship while his sister is locked up under who knows what kind of horrendous conditions. Definitely worth the 5 stars I’ve given it.

This book was well written and sucks the reader in from the first few pages. The characters were well written, and each scene is so descriptive that the reader feels as though they are right there with each character in that time and place. I loved the multiple storylines that gave background information on each character and what events transpired up until present day. I highly recommend!

I only meant to read a couple chapters but could not stop reading. It was a relatively clean romance read with touches of innuendo. I’m always a sucker for a feel good ending and this one did not disappoint.

This is the third book in the Freemasons series and wow. Each book just keeps getting better and better. I do recommend reading these books in order so you get a better understanding for the characters and their stories, but that being said it can be read as a standalone and still be enjoyable. As with the previous books this one is full of danger, adventure and very steamy romance which keeps the reader hooked.
In this book we follow the story of Jude and Sienna.
The attraction between Jude and Sienna is very strong from the beginning, however with Judes sister still missing he has vowed to not have happiness for himself until she is found safe. However somethings can’t be denied and the feelings and attraction between Sienna and Jude is one of those things. As things progress in the search for Jude’s sister then finally have a lead. The problem is they need bait and Sienna is the perfect option. Will Jude put Sienna in danger to save his sister? Will Jude be able to protect her? Will Jude even take the risk of putting Sienna in danger at all even if it means saving his sister?
This was such a good read I read it in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down

The Musical Murder Series is definitely one of a kind. I like how each book flows easily into the next one. The way the author incorporates the musical the characters are working on in the story and the murder mysteries work really well together. All of the characters are very personable and are very in sync with each other. Also there is enough drama in the story, between the characters and the mystery to keep the story going and not focus on only one aspect at a time but multiple aspects.

The silver eyed people are running for the government and it has to stop or this chaos will still continue on.<br />Really enjoying the authors notes at the end of each chapter because it gives you an insider of what they were thinking writing that chapter. I also enjoy that the very first chapter was the last, but now it’s not. So when you get to the end, re read the first chapter. This was such a fantastic read and so fast paced! Thomas and April return in this second instalment in the View From Here and this new adventure all starts with a text from April saying “I think I found it.” She is of course talking about the door, the door to the other world, ever since the last one was closed, they have been wondering what would happen to them now, they are very much still friends, but they have never forgotten the experiences they had beyond the other door.
Thomas goes straight to April’s house as soon as he gets the text and she cannot wait to tell him what she has found, so when she practically throws some papers with graphs and charts at him, along with some excellent coffee, she explains what she has found and why she thinks that it is a new doorway, as well as where it is and as they are both excited and the idea they could see their friend Flick again sets them into planning mode, so they book a trip, organise their supplies and head out.
The journey to the designated area is easy and uneventful, but as they enter the doorway, in yet another cave, they do not know what to expect when they get through to the other side, but they know whatever they find, that it will be another adventure, but what they do see is definitely not what they thought it would be, so a reformulation of the plan is in order.
Their motto of “expect the unexpected” is well and truly the order of the day, but what will they find this time round and will they be able to find their friend again? This is another dystopian adventure across a familiar, yet strange world where nothing is what it seems and knowledge is always on the horizon as you get sucked into exploring alongside the characters and being amazed at what is found along the way.

This book was a fantastic read from start to finish! I seriously was hooked all the way through! The author had a way with their writing skills and creating characters! Seriously, an amazing read!
Loved this book it had its steamy moments, action, drama, and the importance of family was greatly shown. I was held all the way through. I felt for Pippa and fear of men, and Taylor was a great guy. I loved when he discovered what came of their passionate night, he stepped up and would do anything to make his family safe again! The book pulled me in with the delicate writing, that flowed so nicely. Great character development as well. I was drawn in, and held to the end! This book was amazing and so much more!
Again, this is not a book to be passed up by any means, seriously! I highly recommend this must read book and author! Very much eager to read book 2! This was a must read! So glad I got to read it!

This is a new author for me, so I was not sure what I was getting myself into, but what I found was a funny book. I laughed aloud so many times that my family thought I was crazy. And wondered why a book titled “The Kidnapping” would be funny. I told them that they would have to read it themselves. The author did a fantastic job telling this story. Her visual description was perfect. I could see this going on in front of me. I loved the characters. They were so witty and charming, and they made a perfect pair. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for funny wit and banter mixed in with suspense.

There are so many twists and turns but so captivating! You wouldn’t think the people that make up this team is actually a team but they work so well together! Hunter Divine was a US Marshal but he was let go and he’s been on a downward spiral ever since. When he’s called in for personal security on a wealthy family, the plot is only starting!
I love that there are past experiences and how the team met one another! I definitely recommend!
