This is the first book that I’ve read from the author, and I was not disappointed. The storyline is amazing and the characters each had a dynamic that went very well with the plot of the story. I recommend this book to anyone. I was able to read the entire book in one sitting. I’m excited to read the second book in the series and see what the author has in store for us readers.

This book is a breath of fresh air. It is different then any other books I’ve read. I love how you get thoughts from every character but it gets kind of hard to keep up with what powers everyone has. Overall this book is definitely worth the read.

Squid is the fifth book in the Moto X series. Is another great romance by Brooke with a bit of everything to keep glued to the storyline. The story is full of angst and drama and is hot and steamy. You will fall in love the characters and want more of them. This is a great series.
He is fun, loveable and relatable and women love him but deep down it’s a different tune. Only problem is that he wants the one woman who doesn’t want him. Levi and Kindle are two people who need each other she just doesn’t know it.
Like Motocross and partying? Then party boy Levi Crowe is your man. I am looking forward to the next book.

McKinley doesn’t disappoint with the fourth installment of this Mafia series. I got to find out about new characters Elena and Marco. This book has a lot of twists in it, and I was unable to put it down. I was glad to see answers from previous books, all while leaving it open to keep the story going. I am really loving this series. It is interesting how each of these characters find true love. These men love these women and will lay their lives on keeping the save and that includes Elena and Marco. This book can stand alone but I would recommend reading the previous books to better understand the other characters. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
This is the second book in the Hera Force series. I found Nadia cunning, unstoppable and a true fire cracker and I loved her relationship with Mitch. Personally it was good and the character development and the relationship between the characters is what made me enjoy the book more.

No Way Out by Amy McKinley is the first installment of the Mafia series. I really liked how the series started. This was a book that left opens for more stories to come. I hope the continue reads will answer the questions that are left unsaid in this book. I was surprised at how things twist in Max and Lil’s story, it made interesting to see what was going to happen next. I couldn’t put this book down once I got past the slow begin. I am ready to continue reading this series to find out what happens next with this character loaded book.

Illegal is the first book I have read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Ms Gillenwater has given a thrilling ride with action and adventure, danger and intrigue, secrets and fear, romance and chemistry. This captivating story sees one young woman finding her whole life is a lie.
Selina finds herself thrown deep into the darker side of a strange country facing a past she knows nothing about. A language that is foreign to her, dangerous drug cartels and corrupt law enforcement. The suspense is palpable as she finds the truth is worse than she ever thought.
I highly recommend this book it is a must on the TBR list!
These books just keep getting better and better. This book had me riveted to my seat. If you have read the previous books you are aware of what happened to Heart. This poor guy can’t seem to stay out of the hospital. After the death of his old lady, Heart is completely broken, hence the name of the book. He embarks on a forced journey to get his head together. An unexpected phone call turns two unlikely people into friends. This is the story of Heart’s compelling story through grief. It is not an easy passage and many things get in the way, even himself. This book is explosive in parts and heart wrenching in others. As always, a must read from this amazing author who always finds a way to keep her story unique and diverse.

I did not realize that this was a spinoff series by this author of a previous series. That being said, I had no problem understanding the story and it was easily read as a stand-alone series. I was drawn to this book because of the beautiful cover. Once I knew that it was a magical book about faeries, adventure, fighting for those you love, and a series that will continue, I was all in. I definitely felt some connections with the main character and how her life went down a different path than she expected. I am excited to see where the second book leads! I wish I lived in this magical world.

Caging Grace (Grace Series Book 1) by Carsen Lane. I loved this book. Its the story of Grace who is a fighter in every facet of her life. Grace has always had to take care of everyone. Her dad is dead, her mom is an illegal immigrant, she provides for her younger sister so she knows what its like to fight for everything. She is also a underground fighter wanting to make it to the UFC. Working up to 3 jobs her whole life she knows what its like to work for what she wants but nothing has been this hard. Will she be able to succeed or will she let her past keep her from moving forward. Being a gym rat her whole life can only help her. She also falls in love with someone and he won’t know what hit him in the end! Such a good start to a series!

Non-Binary representation in a fantasy story that doesn’t feel like it’s forced. It’s rare to find that so major kudos to Elise Carlson.
Fans of Narnia will enjoy this fast paced story that shows the power of strength & community. A story that is full of action, betrayal, survival of life, abductions and you don’t want to miss the assassins. This is a fast paced, engaging story that was hard to put down. The plot had great growth which made the story easy to read as well as entertaining.
I’m looking forward to the sequel coming out! I would recommend this to teenagers and even adults like myself who have always hoped for a great representation of us in print.

This book was more than a well worth read. I was fascinated by the story and what the story came to be. It was something different compared to most stories that are considered dystopian. None the less, I was very intrigued and enjoyed myself as I read.
Coyote was a character that really was captivating. What he was and is was the matter to describe. A spirit, but belonging and self discovery was the mode he was in. I was very much intrigued as he went on his journey, he passed others and met others, all were connected I found in this thing called life. The book and adventure was eye opening. The things we need to survive we often take for granted, and this book very much showed me not to take the small things for granted in life. Beautiful story!
This story was very heart felt to me. I very much enjoyed it It was a fast paced read for me, and I could not put this one down. I highly recommend this story, don’t pass it up, it is a rare and beautiful read!

When I first choose this book to read, I had no idea that I would become so entranced in this book as I did. Collateral Damage is the sixth installment of the Mafia series by Amy McKinley. She just keeps surprising me with the stories for each character. Trey being the Mafia doctor I never really thought about him having someone to love and protect until reading his story. McKinley really pulled these characters together. Hailey may have fallen to fast for the beloved Trey but he’s hard not to love. This book isn’t as action packed as the others but still a great read. I am ready for more and fall in love with all these characters more as she keeps going with this series.

Wow I was completely captivated by this story. I love a paranormal romance but this book is so much more than that. The author doesn’t an amazing job with the characters and what i love was the author’s descriptions about the thought and feelings that were felt. We are taking on a rollercoaster of happiness, desire, fear, love and grief so painful it almost crushes you.
Angelina is just a normal woman. She has never had a man, something just always seems to be off. She does however have dreams and fantasies about 2 men. She doesn’t know who they are but boy does she want to know them. So imagine her shock when her dream me walk into her life.
Luca and Salvatore are twins. They are a hybrid of vampire and angel. They have searched for their mate for years and when they find her their love and connection is instant. The power is strong in this one. After trying to provide for her mother and younger sister for so long by holding down 3 jobs, one of which is underground fighting, Grace is finally noticed by some recruiters for UFC fighting. This leads to an adventurous path of discovering herself. After making sure that her mother’s need and little sister’s needs are met, Grace takes steps to learn what it means to be with herself; to find out who she is. She has always been taking care of others after promising her dad that she would. (She saw him fight at an underground fight when she was 14). With the help of Carl, Johnny, Dars, Sabrina, and a cast of others, Grace will learn that she is no longer caged. She has the power to rescue herself. I loved this story. Not all girls will participate in the UFC but the story reminds us that it’s okay to be alone. We need to believe in ourselves before we can others. We need to love ourselves before we can love others. That’s a really important message that I have never seen come across in a fiction book like this but the whole way it came across was total self-care and very helpful. She had always been helping others, now it’s time to help herself. The characters felt very real. They felt like they could have been people I knew. The tone of the book was very positive even with it being a UFC book. The plot felt very smooth with no choppiness. It was really a great book. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. You should give it a shot. It’s a TKO!!

Such a good book! I loved this book from start to finish. I was captivated with the characters and everything that they brought to the table. There was a heavy duty of emotions with this book as I read, and not in ways I expected there to be.
The book was more than a well worth read. II felt for Grace in so many ways. She was a fighter in the ring sure, but outside I would say she could do those punches just a well. She took many hits in her life too. None the less, none of that ever stopped her from living or chasing what she wanted. I really admired that. She had a lot on her plate through out my reading and I really felt how she was doing everything and trying to live this thing called life. I really wanted to reach in and hug her tight! Despite that the side characters help make her life and this story come full circle. Every character for me brought a different depth and I loved and appreciate all of them for who they were. The story was captivating and beautifully written. This is one that will stay with me for some time with no doubt.
The book was superb from start to finish. I could not read fast enough to see where each page and sentence would lead to. I loved it truly. It was beautiful in so many ways. I highly recommend this must-read book, give this book a chance, I know it’s a diamond in the rough that should not be passed up on any account!

Caging Grace is book 1 in The Grace series is a tale about struggle and determination and is an emotional journey. Carsen writes with passion and it shows in the characters she brings to life.
It is a story of fighting your way to the top in more than one way. It is a fight for survival. It is a story about one woman who is vulnerable yet strong, determined and badass, and beneath it all she is amazingly resilient. It is also about finding yourself.
Grace has the weight of the world coming down on her but if not her then no one is going to be able to come out on top, come out from under it all. All she needs is someone to support her. Someone to help her on her journey.
When got this book I discovered that Bound by Grace is the prequel 0.5, so I jumped on that and read it first. It is a quick read love story of Liam and Aggie and where it all began.

Grace in this story starts out as a 20 year old underground fighter. She fights, has 3 jobs, and takes care of her mother and her sister, needless to say she has a full plate. I love the back and forth of current Grace and past Grace. You get to se what made her into the woman she is today. I love how it references her to water, cool and collected, but dangerous when a storm comes in. She tries so hard to do everything for everybody but she forgets to take care of herself first. But, you get that chance to see her grow and learn and see how important it is to put oneself above all of the others. You got to see what a day to day world is for a MMA fighter even though it is fiction. The writing is done wonderfully, and the progress of Grace was done at a good speed, not to slow and not too fast. She’s relatable in her entirety and I saw bits and pieces of myself in her. She’s an easy to love character. I still have so many questions about the rest of the characters! Well done author well done!

Another great read from Amy McKinley. I like how the story unfolds more with every installment she writes. The story continues but can be read alone, but to know more about the other characters and keep them straight I would read them in order. I like how as I read, I learn about each character, and how they are individual in their own way even though they are part of the Five Families. I am ready for the next book to see what happens next.

Blood Oath is the second installment to the Elite Mafia series by Amy McKinley and a good read to continue the story. I am glad that with the second book it focuses on a new set of characters but still has the ones from the first one. McKinley does a great job keeping me interested with this series. This maybe the second book to the series you can be read on its own, which I do like. I am ready to keep reading this series and see what happens next with the new set of characters as well as the characters that I have already read about.

Bake Off is book 2 of the Bake Believe series, and should be read in order. There is a lot of background information and ground work laid in the first book that would be needed to fully understand and enjoy Bake Off. While the book is written for children, I am an adult and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the writing style, it was very realistic. There is a lot of sarcasm and phrases used, that makes it really seem like it is written by a 14 year old. The great Grandma, GG, is very well written. Her phrases are written in broken English, realistic of the fact that she is from France. The characters are all well written and I grew to love them all. Upon writing this review, I see that this is going to be a trilogy- yay! I cant wait to read another in the series. I plan to pass this book to my pre-teen daughter to read.

I absolutely love this book. To tell the myths that we have all heard before but from the women’s viewpoint. I am always one to think on the motivations of the characters as I read so this was right up my alley. You get the story of Demeter and Persephone, the story of Odyssseus’ return from Troy, and the story of Gilgamesh a Mesopotamian hero. If you enjoy mythology this is definitely a book you should check out. You will not be disappointed.
I enjoyed this freah take on mythological stories. The collection was interesting and varied and really did keep my attention. You could tell the author has a passion for this subject and her knowledge and enthusiasm came through in the writing. The detail was there but also the excitement. These are the first books that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed the way they were written. I will definitely be reading more.

Ancient Reflections is a wonderfully written Trilogy of Historical Mythology that I truly enjoyed reading. I was a bit hesitant at first but once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I was pulled in and everything around me was tuned out. Mythology intrigues me and this author knocked it out of the park. Although this is a fairly new author to me I’m definitely going to check out what other books she has. This is a collection of three great books that will take you on a adventure and show you worlds of gods, some monsters and everyday life struggles. Each story is just as good as the last. What a great well written original paranormal romance with a lot of mystery and crime thrown in. I was slightly worried because this is book 2 and i had not yet read book 1, but it holds itself well as a standalone. But I can guarantee you will want more. Avery and her mysterious and handsome neighbor Luys make this book amazing. The pace of it was great. I didn’t want to even put it down and when I had to, I couldn’t stop thinking of what was going to happen next! Definitely read this book.
