This book was a page turner of events. Other then the supernatural part it really brought back some memories of being a teenage in high school and trying to fit in. The supernatural part of this book was amazing, the twists and turns this book made always kept me wondering what was happening next, and what was going to happen. It starts off right away by grabbing up with the tragic event with her mother and then finding out who she is and what she can do. The evil that also is in the world and everything that made her come to the point where she is now. I really can’t wait for the next book; this is a must read.

Wow! Forbidden Mate was a phantastic read!! This is the second book in the Shadow Chronicles Series, a series that I highly recommend reading in order for reader enjoyment as this book follows the first one.
This paranormal read is intense, gruesome, steamy, complex and action-packed there’s never a dull moment! This author writes with so much detail that painted a clear picture playing out in my mind which kept me entertained the whole way through.
This is a book I would highly recommend to anyone looking for their next paranormal read!

Action packed and intrigue that draws you in from page 1. Alex is a kick-ass teen who learns that she and her sister, Zoey, have some new powers that help with beating nightmares. The plot just keeps you involved. You can’t put the book down because you just might miss something. Definitely a great book for the YA paranormal/fantasy fans. (Adults will like it too). Her Dark Love is the fourth book in the Dark Spell series. This story takes us back to see who Isra was before she started down the dark path, and the events that set everything in motion. The insight this book gives into the character’s early years helps give the previous books more depth. The fairy tale writing style is sometimes a challenge for me, but I like the originality. Her Dark Love is a dark fairy tale story full of deceit, betrayal, magic, and heartbreak that will keep you turning the pages.

This is an emotional second chance love story. The author does an amazing job with the characters which means the story I believable and has you gripped from the very beginning.
Gage has suffered a huge trauma when the love of his life passes away. Convinced that he will never love again he resigns himself to a life alone. However a chance meeting of his cousins friend Lil turns his world upside down and sends sparks through his body that he thought he would never feel again. Can he risk his heart again? Can he resist the attraction and chemistry between himself and Lil?
Lil has a past of her own as well and when her past comes calling putting her in danger Gage realises he needs to fight his demons if he wants to protect the woman he loves and stop history repeating itself.
It is a really emotional story and anyone who has dealt with loss will be able to relate with the emotions that Gage goes through and understand his hot and cold attitude and feelings of guilt that he experiences. I can’t wait to read more in this series.

Ty has a secret of his own that involves Milene , One that he holds onto until a special moment. The story is filled with action, love, and crime. They soon realize that in order to resolve what’s truly going on they will have to let down their walls and lean on each other. The author does a great job with her writing style, details, and relationship building. If you enjoy an action filled romance then you’ll definitely enjoy this latest novel.

She is still experiencing such depression and grief from this that she is finding it hard to move on. Dire’s Club is an organization that gives terminal patients their chance to get their last wish done. Charlotte decides she is going to join this group and in the process she meets some extraordinary people that make such impressions on her that her life is forever changed: Lourdes, Levi, Dylan, Celeste, Jimmy and Darla. What an AMAZING book! All the feelings can be felt in this book. You will go on many adventures with the Dire’s Club and feel their emotions as they all deal with their feelings over dying and read what happens when some lies and fraud are exposed. Probably the BEST book of 2021 that I have read so far. It’s like explaining the grief cycle in an easier way. I definitely recommend this one.

I loved the main characters in this book, Trent (Tank) and Charlotte (Charlie). The bond between these two is almost palpable. This book deals with so many important issues but in a delicate way. Trent and Charlie both lie to each other at the beginning of the book and now have them dealing with pain, shock, sorrow and heartbreak. Charlie goes back to school to finish her last two months of her Masters degree in Nursing and doesn’t return to Sunnyville until 8 years later. Trust is a hard commodity to gain once it has been broken. This book had some tough issues in it but the author is great at the balance of still providing a pleasurable read. Justin’s birthday was hilarious. This book was extremely relatable on so many levels, I fully enjoyed it.

Gargoyles, demons and witches Book two of the series and the drama continues. Loved being back with Lucy, Marcus and Dylan. This takes off straight from book one and what a roller coaster of action and emotion. Her relationships are questioned time and again and I was so frustrated with Marcus and Dylan. Can’t wait for book three – need some closure now.

I enjoyed this cute mystery story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed. I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a well written story about Anne and the dead body she finds and a small town that has secrets to hide. Will she be able to solve this mystery before she becomes the next victim? I enjoyed her character and what she brought to the story. She was fun and entertaining which made the story easy to read. All the characters are connectable and kept the story engaging. I enjoyed watching the growth of this story. It is worth the pick up. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this short romance story. This is an author I never hesitate to pick up. I have enjoyed her books from the first one I picked up. This is a well written story about what happens when opposites attract. I was pulled into the story from the beginning by the characters. They made the story easy, fun and entertaining to read. They are connectable and truly made the story for me. This is a story about Brody who is a movie actor and Willabelle who has an ex that is determined to destroy things for her. What neither one of these two expected was to meet and fall for each other until her ex decides otherwise. What happens with these two I highly recommend reading this book to find out. Their growth and chemistry throughout the story is great. They made great characters that kept the story engaging. You won’t regret picking this one up today.

I have fallen in love with this whole set of Jake’s books. I have a few grandchildren that will have this set sitting in their rooms.
The message conveyed in this book is so completely relevant especially in the world today and the conversation guide at the end was spot on for helping the adults lead the discussion after reading it with the kids. I love this and really believe these should be part of a school’s reading curriculum or at the very least part of reading time at home.
The illustrations were amazing and I believe will make storytime that much more fun and meaningful. The importance of friendship was also very strong in this story and was written in a way that young children will completely understand.
I loved this and I love that this author has gone that extra mile for our kids!

I thought this was such an interesting, cute, intriguing, and engaging story. I always like to see if the first line really draws me into a book. That really sets the tone for me. With this story I was not disappointed. From the first line of the book, I was hooked! It was just so good! The rest of the story did not disappoint either, it kept its tone from the very beginning for sure! Natalina Reis is an author to look for in the future. I also loved that the author added a bit of a personal touch at the beginning with a forward, a guide to dating vocabulary and the Mandarin words and phrases used. That was a really nice touch.

Tainted by Marsha R. West is an action-packed romantic suspense story. The characters are well developed, and I easily connected to them. There is non-stop action as trouble follows them in their wake. It is easy to picture the setting as Marsha vividly tells her tale. It is also a second chance story where old friends catch up again after 25 years. Liz needs to get away with her daughter from the life she had. They find themselves in a beautiful place, but their serenity is short lived. However, where there is danger there is one man who has sworn to serve and protect. I look forward to what comes next.

Written in the Stars is a heart-warming and gripping story about adoption and finding birth parents and is the second book in the Mothers and Daughters Collection by Angela Christina Archer. It is a story that made my heart ache as I easily got lost in the story. Angela’s writing drew me in and conjured up all sorts of emotions as I followed along with this story. A young unwed woman in the 1950’s is left alone and has the choice on whether or not to keep her unborn baby taken away from her. It also shows what one goes through to find someone that may help them know who they are and where they came from. I was completely engrossed in the story and invested in the characters.

Natalina Reis writes in a way she has you feeling for her characters. Her novel Dating the Intern appealed to me in ways I enjoyed, but also brought up memories from a painful past. Don’t let that deter you though, just keep in mind it could be a trigger warning that’s all. Li Qiang is such a sweet and selfless character who would do anything for his boss, Ivory Tower, since he’s been crushing on her for a long time. A character I grew to love and rooted for as I got deeper into the novel. Ivory on the other hand drove me crazy, but I feel like that was more on a personal level vs how the character was written. I’m Ivory through and through. I may not be a business owner but that’s the kind of abuse I suffered in my past from my father, which makes it hard to accept love today. Though a novel about a fictional romance, it made me take a deeper look at myself and how I’ve overcome the same obstacles in my life. I know this review sounds really sad & depressing but it’s not meant to be that way. It’s meant to just describe how Natalina’s novel impacted me emotionally. It’s not very often I get that emotionally invested in a work of fiction, but in the end I LOVED IT!!! If a writer can have you connect to their story in such a way you evaluate how you handled things, doesn’t that make them a GREAT writer. Was the story a trigger for me, slightly but I’m glad I read it then reflected upon my life. If you’re looking for a story to emotionally impact you in such a way you evaluate life, TRUST ME when I say you NEED to read Dating the Intern by Natalina Reis!

This is my first book by Vikki Walton, and I am happy I took the chance and picked it up. This book is full of life, and not just with the plants. Ann is feisty, funny, sweet, and a mystery magnet. Strange events or people questioning them seem to flock to her for help and she doesn’t really mind. Anne has found a passion in garden design, and begins helping out with the gardening club. When she arrives to begin a new design with Billie a current member she stumbles upon much more than flowers, dirt, and soil. She discovers Billie’s dead body, and doubts it was an accident. Much to her fiancée Carson’s’ disapproval she begins her own investigation and finds that there was lots to be said, and not everything was as it seems. This book was a lot of fun, The women in the garden club shared a unique bond and were all caring, sweet, and supportive of each other. All the characters in this book were very well written and well developed.

This was a 4 star read, it took me just a little bit to get pulled into the story.
A woman is dead and Connie and Dee are investigating it. The investigation takes them to The Circle, a cult that is led by Jonathan. Jonathan is intrigued by Dee and wants her to join The Circle. The other difficult thing she is dealing with is her current boyfriend and her ex. Who will she choose? Will they be able to find the murderer?
Overall this was a good read. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

I will go back and start at the beginning in the future. This suspenseful read is fun, and we have a team of female leads that will do your head in. They are sassy fun and each one of them full of secrets and the unexpected. They are definitely a quirky bunch. A mysterious death, maybe. An affair, possibly. Happy besties, hmmmm maybe not. But one thing that is sure is that it is a quick read, an afternoon delight with good humour and a few chuckles.

I have read every book in this series and I just loved them all. I don’t know which couple I love more. The characters are well written and amazing and the things that they over come in this story made them feel real. The story line is different and amazing.

But they never crossed the line Levi was always there when she needed him until she thought he betrayed her. Seven years have passed since that horrible night. Levi has regret hurting Dahlia the only woman he has ever loved. He never got to explain what happened she just cut him out of her life. Now fate has intervened and they are forced to work together on a project. Can they keep it professional? Will Dahlia forgive Levi? When the project is over will they walk away from each other? First and foremost, this is the 4th book in the series but, you do not have to read the others to enjoy it. This was my first read by Renee Regent and I enjoyed it! It will also not be my last, it has intrigued me into wanting to read the others in the series. There was also so many emotions that I went through along with the characters. The author does a great job of pulling you in and becoming invested in the characters. This is sometimes hard to do but Renee Regent does a good job with how they present them.

Her Dark Love is the fourth book in the Dark Spell series written by Ms. Sravenheart. The characters are amazing and the plot was awesome we have a few twists and turn, revenge, love, betrayal, deceit, and suspense I cannot wait to read more of this author’s work.
Lady Isra of the Dark didn’t always reside in the shadows she had a light side too as you will soon discover. This story takes us to the beginning and we find out what happened to Isra to turn her dark.
You will need to read this story to find out what happened but I do recommend that you read all the books in the series…

Unbreakable shares the story or Erin and Curtis “Ripper.” Ripper is a man that feels tainted by his life choices, and trapped with his demons in which he deems himself a man no woman can love. When a night out ends with him being stabbed he ends up at a Free Clinic and meets Erin who is his nurse. Both have pasts they cant ignore, and secrets they cant escape, but an attraction and need for another that they also cant deny. Its a beautiful story about 2 mismatched people that despite all odds were meant to be with an unbreakable love that knows no bounds. Tee Smith wrote a great book.

I haven’t read a good suspense book in a while, but this book was absolutely thrilling! I have a bad habit of guessing who was the killer and most of the time I’m able to figure it out way in advance of the big reveal. The red herrings in this were so well done that I couldn’t even get close to figuring it out. I loved it! This book has it all, a badass female protagonist, thrills for days, sexy people, cults, intrigue I mean you name it and it was there. I read this book in one session and am eager to read more. I really love an unpredictable ending, and a suspense book that keeps me guessing. I can’t wait to read the other released books in this series. Definitely a must read!
