The Longest Run (Lawson Family Series, Book Four) by Tracey Cramer-Kelly was a really good read! This is a standalone novel. This is the first book in this series I’ve read, and I didn’t feel like I missed anything important or vital from not reading the others first. It was very entertaining and well written. It was very descriptive, I felt like I was right there on the slopes with Carly and Chris the whole time. There’s was also enough steam in this novel to keep the chill of winter away! It did take me a little bit to get hooked in this story. It didn’t grab me at first in the way I thought it would. Overall this book was a very fun and easy read. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!
Athalie (Sacrificial Chronicles Book 1) by Jordan Elizabeth. It’s all about Athalie and the gods. This story is full of adventure and unexpected revelation.
Athalie meant to be the yearly sacrifice just wants to live but knowing she will benefit her emperor accepts her fate. Unknowing to her empire the emperor wants to use a deadly weapon that can unknowingly destroy the planet once activated.
The book is full of twists and turn. You never know what will happen next. It leaves you on the edge of your seat with each new chapter. I can’t wait for what this series may have in store.

I really enjoyed this story. It is an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. There are so many relationshipship dynamics in this book that you really feel drawn into it completely. No family is perfect but the other manages to take two people with troubled past together and it works.
Jacob has had bad relationships. After being hurt and decieved by his brother and his sister in law it has left him bitter and angry towards everyone including his brothers. There is always arguments when ever they are together because Jacob is carrying so much pain and can’t let it go.
Sandy is a hardworking woman. Who isn’t looking for a relationship. Especially not with someone with a lot of drama. That is until she meets Jacob. After their first meeting the attraction and connection between them is instant however with both of them dealing with pasts and the drama of the families can they work things out to be together or will their pasts keep destroying any chance of them having a future.

Stone of Destiny (Juniper Samoni Trilogy Book 1) by Nadine Travers 4 Stars
This is an action packed fantasy novel filled with adventure, danger and some mystery. Juniper is a witch warrior who has some extra special powers. Magical relics call to her and this time she needs to retrieve the Stone of Destiny. If it falls into the wrong hands, the fallout could be devastating. She’s not the only one that wants it, she just needs to get there first.
I found the story to be quite original. With the witch warriors and the magical relics, it almost felt like an epic adventure. There was an underlying sense of foreboding. The world building was fantastic. The author has a vivid imagination. In this book there is clearly the “good “ guys and the “bad” guys but I believe that as the series progresses, these lines will get blurred. The author left enough crumbs in this novel which will have you wanting to pick up the pieces in the next.

Another fantastic book from this author! I absolutely loved it. This author has a fantastic writing style which draws me in straight away. I loved the first book in the series and I am so glad that this one didn’t disappoint. From the beautiful descriptive language to the fantastic characters I was hooked from beginning to end. I love Maggie and Will, their journey is far from easy and I loved the story plot for this book! It was so exciting to read! I would definitely recommend reading book 1 prior to this one to fully understand the characters and their story. I think if you love historical/time travel stories then this series is absolutely one you should read!

I’ve read quite a few books by this author now and I really enjoy her stories and I think that Murder at Lolly Beach is probably one of my favourites. I loved that I was kept guessing until the very end – there were so many twists and turns I really enjoyed trying to figure out what was going to happen. I really like the characters; they are all great to read about. I would recommend reading the books in order just to get a better feel of the characters and what has happened previously. Overall a fantastic 5 star read and one that I would absolutely recommend to others! I look forward to more from Ms Suen again in the future!!!

Heartbeats and Roses was a nice, romantic read and I found it very enjoyable to read. This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author and although sadly I didn’t enjoy it as much as the others it was still a good read. I think for me I struggled with connecting with the characters and I’m not sure why to be honest. They were nice enough and I liked them but I just didn’t feel that connection with them like I have previously. Rose and Liam obviously had a past and that connection between them was still there all those years later however I was missing a little bit of passion between them, thy did seem to have a genuine connection thought which was lovely to read about. I liked how Liam’s character developed over the story and I feel like I got to him more than I did Rose. Overall a good read and I am definitely looking forward to more from this author again in the future.
Black Dog Rising by Kat Caulberg 4 out of 5 Stars Emma Aubrey is a force to be reckoned with. This sweet romance has a twist of the paranormal but once you read about Emma, you fall head over heels for her. Toby himself is mysterious, and I love a handsome mysterious innkeeper. Who wouldn’t want to fall in love with someone like that? Caulberg did a fantastic job of engaging the reader and keeping the suspense and mystery going until the very end. I also LOVED reading about the English stores of paranormal creatures. I recommended this book for lovers of mystery, romance, paranormal, and sci-fi. 4 out of 5 stars.

Stormy’s Thunder (Satan’s Devils MC Utah #2) by Manda Mellett was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
Stormy disappeared from the clubhouse leaving his cut behind. The MC brothers all thought he had abandoned his club and ran. He returns with a literal “bang” and he ends up in the hospital. It appears like he has been tortured, but by who?
While he’s in the hospital the MC tries to figure out where he was, will they find the answers they are looking for?
Overall this was an edge of your seat read. I couldn’t wait to see myself just where Stormy was and get the answers along with the club. He grew on me the more the story developed. The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing and finally getting to see Stormy’s story was great. I would suggest reading the other books in the series so you can get the build up to this book. All of the characters were great, it was a family reunion of sorts. Daddy’s Girl (Freshwater Book 3) by Belinda Williams
There are so many things I love about this book. First is Emily being the main character, my younger daughter is Emily. Second is Aunty Em which is what we call my Emily when talking to my grandson. Third, holy cow Emily falls in love!
After reading the first two books in this series I really wasn’t sure how it would happen but it was spectacular. I loved Joel from the beginning, there was something about him that I instantly liked. The more I got to know him the more I liked him.
Joel has secrets and they are pretty big but with the upbringing he had I wouldn’t have expected anything else.
I have questions and hope this isn’t the end of this series. I’m going to hold out hope that there will be a book four.

At Last: Adams Brother by Mindy McKinley is book 1 in this series. And let me say I absolutely loved it, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I wasn’t disappointed. This is a contemporary romance book that goes from hot to scorching with the main characters quickly. Lula and Dominic have off the chart’s chemistry and you can’t help but hope they work. With everything that is going on in the world right now (covid 19), I know personally, I need some good times with a special someone. The plotline is engaging and the characters are really interesting. Not only is this a contemporary romance, but it has second chances. This is a small town and everything that goes with that distinguishment of being a small town. I was hooked into Rose. I enjoyed her love of life and how she is creating the life she wants in this small town. Rose is the town matchmaker. She loves helping others find their match but can she find her own love? Liam is a surgeon who comes back to this little town. Will Liam want to return to the life he had 20 years ago in this small town? How is Rose dealing with Liam back in town? Askew Ever After: A Limited-Edition Romance Collection Anthology is a collection of short romance stories. I personally fell in love with Paper Love by Aubrey Wynne. This story follows Joss who grew up in New Guinea but found herself in the United States due to unwelcome news. After a failed relationship and the heartbreak, of losing a loved one. She needs to figure some things in her life so the last thing she is looking for is someone. But life always seems to throw us curve balls when we least expect it. This is a fast read and one I couldn’t put down! Highly recommend.
This is a review for Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye Well, I really enjoyed this story and I wish we could’ve gotten more of these two, I would’ve read them all day! Perrie and Ash have some history, and she’s never forgiven him for it. Needing a new roommate, she places an ad and never expects who it is that moves in. From there it just got better. The chemistry between the two was coming off the pages, and I love those types of reads. Would love to get to know them better as there was a lot to digest, which the author did a good job summarizing it all but more details were wanted in places for me. Overall it was a great read, and that ending, ugh I loved it so so much!

Who doesn’t like a book that offers a collection of stories at once that you can pick up and choose what you’re in the mood for whenever you feel like it? The story that really caught my attention is Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye. Marie Skye is an author I’ve read in the past and enjoyed, so I had faith in the writing but I was really drawn by the synopsis. I will be honest with you, at the very beginning I was not sure I would enjoy the story. It didn’t start with the addictive qualities I am so used to reading. It did pick up fairly quickly, thankfully and the characters were enjoyable. I truly appreciate a storyline that holds characters with good banter, this had it. I would recommend this collection if nothing more than to read this 4 star story but with a collection to meet anyone’s reading needs, how can you go wrong?

I enjoyed this cozy mystery novel featuring journalism student Eve Sawyer who sets out to investigate a twenty year old missing persons case. Lacey Walken disappeared in suspicious circumstances from Murder Creek, a place named after the infamous murders that happened there centuries before. The deeper Eve digs into the story the more danger she puts herself in as someone in the small community is not happy that this old case is being looked into again. I found Eve was a great main character as she’s likeable and relatable and really bought the storyline together. I found Eve’s psychic visions really added a different layer to the overall story. The author really bought the sinister setting of Murder Creek to life with her descriptive narrative and I felt engaged in the story. I was hooked from page one and the twists and turns kept me guessing until the end as the suspense built. I look forward to further books in this series.

Ride With The Moonlight by Andrea Matthews is the second book in the Thunder on the Moor series. This series does have to be read in order as it is a continuation of the characters story. For me this book was even better than the first. I found it so easy to jump straight back into the story and reconnected with the characters immediately. I was excited to see where their journey was going to take them next and how they would overcome everything that seemed to be in their way. The writing in this book was just as imaginative and detailed as it was in the first. This meant it was so easy to picture everything going on. This has been a strong series and this book really just reinforces that completely. I would highly recommend you give this series a try today!

Carly enjoys the one a season lover who can vanish at the end of the season with no strings attached. Until she sees Chris and something stirs inside that she has not felt in a long-time but will the feelings reciprocated or will she be left wanting again.
Chris was a Olympic Skier until that fateful day which changed his life forever. Although he is now determined to make the Paralympic team and is dedicated to the task he can’t stop thinking about the woman on the slope.
I loved this story and we the chemistry between these two characters was brilliant and that jumped off the page. The story delves into the both characters ups and down, plus the sheer determination that nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it.
The story is well constructed and draws you into the story and bring the characters into your heart, especially when you are urging them forward into their relationship and feeling you are living the story with them. I can wait to read the next book in this wonderful series.

The Longest Run: a Ski Patrol Rescue Romance (Lawson Family #4) by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. I loved this book in fact I have loved all of the Lawson Family books. This is the story of Carly Lawson who works for the families ski resort in the winter and is a White Water Raft guide in the summer. She loves her job but a horrific accident 10 years ago that haunts her still to this day so Carly focuses on her job and winter flings. Chris Markham was an avid downhill skier and had dreams to seek it professionally until the tragic accident that left him a paraplegic. When Carly’s family ski resort hosts the Paralympics she meets Chris again and this time falls for him. She only wanted a winter fling not a full blown relationship. What a great addition to the series! The Longest Run: a Ski Patrol Rescue Romance is the fourth book in the Lawson Family series written by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. Carly Lawson is a rafting guide during the winter months and loves what she does. However, she is plagued by an enormous guilt that she can never forgive herself for. Chris Markham is a Downhill skier that was in a crash that left him a paraplegic. Now with the Paralympics in sight he is more focused than ever. That is until he meets Carly. Carly only wanted a winter fling but instead is falling head over heels for Chris. Will they be able to continue their relationship after the winter? Their chemistry is amazing and is very steamy. There are so many twists and turns throughout the book. It was a definite page turner and I didn’t want to put the book down! I love this series and this is one of the best books yet. I cannot wait to read more!
Matching Miriam by Mya O’Malley is my first book by this author,and I definitely recommend it. This is one of my favorite genres, and Mya did not let me down even in the slightest. This is the kind of book that you can just sit down to read, and lose yourself in for hours. Which is exactly what i did, staying up way to late to finish this wonderful book! I was hooked on Miriam’s story from beginning to end, and i honestly can’t wait to read more of Mya’s work in the future!

As I’ve come to expect from this author, and the family this series follows, this book was heavy on emotion and connection. Chris and Carly were a fantastic pair and I really appreciated how well developed each character was on their own as well as the depth of the relationship. This book is filled with heartbreak and secrets and the affect it has on self and loved ones. This book was a real page turned and one I thoroughly enjoyed.
Lance has had a major change happen in his life. So he’s made a descions to take it out himself. Orla is a character I really enjoy and her been a strong female is vital to this story. Do you want some ranuchines through in with your story this is the one for you some steamy scenes to get your blood flowing. I adore the voice over in this book it’s is extremely express which helps the story.

The graceful ghost is a very sweet story. It’s definitely aimed at young adults and children however I would say it’s suitable to read at any age. Eleanor Dixon does a great job of bringing her characters to life. Grace is now a ghost and her home has been turn into a school. Grace is stuck in what to do she’s stuck until she can help another. It’s such a sweet book to read.
Dance of Hearts: a Cinderella Regency Romance Retelling (Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings Book 1) by Byrd Nash is a treasure. Yes, I am an adult and yes this is a story for preteens. But yes, yes, yes, I loved this story. I loved this story so much that I will be reading the next one. It is romantic and squeaky clean, so I am so happy to give this a five-star rating. One of the things I love about this book is that even though its written for a young audience it’s not without challenge. Its not dumbed down its written as if the author has respect for the book’s readers. And with all of that it’s just a wonderful story. Get this book, read it, let your children read it.

Murder At Lolly Beach is the second instalment in the Eve Sawyer Mystery Series by Jane Suen. This follows on from book one, and even though it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first book before starting on this one- as that is where we are ‘introduced’ to Eve and discover her personality, as well as a lot of her strengths, quirks, and flaws. Murder Creek also lays the foundation to the series- so I feel it is worth the read to have all that information and important details on hand. As we discovered in Book #1, Eve Sawyer is a college journalism student with a talent for sniffing out a good story- and after all the dramatic developments she had been through recently with her Murder Creek investigation, Eve was glad to have the summer vacation to regroup with some much needed rest and relaxation. What better way to relax than heading to the beach with friends. But, you guessed it- Eve has a knack for attracting trouble, and it’s not long before she is immersed in another investigation. I wonder what awaits Eve in Book #3.
