This is a romance boxed set by an outstanding array of authors. My favorite one was Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye. This particular story follows Perrie and Ash. They knew each other years ago and end up meeting up in Las Vegas. Perrie is looking for a roommate and she never thought for one second it would be Ash responding. As Perrie and Ash maneuver through their relationship as friends and then beyond, there are moments you will be really mad and other times you will laugh so hard.

Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye is part of the Happily Ever After Contemporary Romance box set.
The beginning of this particular story in the box set definitely grabbed my attention. I laughed almost immediately so I had to see where the story was going. Perrie and Ash had a fling many years ago and now coincidentally or maybe not so, they run into each other in Las Vegas and Ash ends up responding to Perrie’s roommate ad. Perrie can’t really be picky at this point so she sucks it up and does the best she can to navigate being roommates with Ash. She hates him but figures she can make this work. Eventually their relationship transforms. The book is so well written you can’t wait to see how things will play out with Perrie and Ash.
This book was such a good read. I enjoyed the dynamics between Perrie and Ash and watching them grow and change throughout the story.

I really enjoyed this story. Its a lovely book for anyone but especially young adults. The story is fast paced from the beginning and keeps you wanting more. The characters are well written and the author does q good job of setting the scene.
Grace is a ghost. Her former home has now been turned into a ballet school for girls. She is stuck roaming the school but longs to break the spell so she can go to other places. All she has to do is help on person fulfill their dream.
Lauren is a promising dancer who has a scholarship to the school. She has amazing talent but things in her past are holding her back.
Can Grace help Lauren overcome her past to succeed and get her dream? Or will Lauren be unable to let go and allow Grace to help her?
I have really mixed feelings where this book is concerned. I really like Jake and Sandy but I felt like Tracy had a bit too much focus on in this book. It felt like some scenes dragged to the point where they could have been left out in the book. At times Sandy felt way too judgemental that did at times make me want to punch her. At times I felt the secondary characters were more the main characters which probably shouldn’t have happened.
The story was full of angst, family drama, some humour, and sizzle. Overall it was an okay read for me. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it either. Loved some of the story the characters were okay.

This author has done it again, and even more so for me. I absolutely do not like a flashback story and when this gave me the first one all I could think of was there is finally a book in all of this authors series I’m not going to be fond of. Well, that lasted about a minute and I realized I needed all those flashbacks to get past how I felt about Stormy in the first Utah book and getting his background was crucial for my understanding. My emotions were a complete mess through this whole book!!
Swift playing the part she did in this book was brilliant, and my favorite all time in this whole combination of series, Drummer was as Drummer always is, amazing!
I knew there had to be more to Stormy, I just wasn’t sure there was a way to get past my dislike of him, well I did…and it all started with a huge bang. I’m not giving away any of this storyline, I will say the first Utah chapter book really needs to be read before this one, I actually think every book in every series that involves the Satan’s Devils needs to be read to get the whole impact of each of these stories.
I loved this book, I love this author and I love that no matter how many books she writes involving these people I just can’t get enough and as always can’t wait for the next!!

This is my first read from this author and what a brilliant introduction I have had with this book. This read pulled me in from the very beginning and held me captivate the entire time. This read had everything and more, we are given ups and downs, drama, action, high emotions and most importantly twists and turns. Jacob and Sandra’s story was a whirlwind from the very beginning, they immediately have a connection and their chemistry was off the charts. This read had you on the edge of your seat, wanting to know more and more answers, and it left you reeling. I can’t wait to see what comes of this series and what other characters stories we get next! Until then I highly recommend this read, it’s not to be missed!

This is the 4th book in the series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. It deal with different issues that can happen after a Skiing accident. Some of the book conxtet made me a bit edge as it is hard hitting. Once Chris comes into Carly life things change. This is an emotional read.

After some friends come back yo town they come a plan that has secrets and twists. Will there plan work or will she be a servant forever? I highly recommend reading this and I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

The characters grow and change as their world shifts around them; outside forces create unforeseen obstacles in the plans to keep Ada safely hidden until she can be returned to her home, pushing them to adapt and overcome. As a fan of both fantasy and romance, I enjoyed seeing Lewandowski take a different approach in blending of the two genres.

First off this is an amazing set of authors, some new, some ive read and enjoyed before. All are great reads and there’s a little of something for everyone in this set.
This will focus on Paper Love by Aubrey Wynne.
I absolutely loved this story. Even though its a fast read. I felt I got to know what I needed to know about the characters to feel connected. Joss isn’t looking for anyone, she is trying to make some life decisions and thanks to a friend and her sister, she’s taken to a social party and meets her best friends brother for the first time. Ben wasn’t what I thought he would be like once you got to know him a bit.
Great read. Will be reading the rest of these over the next few weeks!
Heartbeats and Roses: A Small Town Valentine’s Day Romance (A Hartwood Holiday Romance) by Jae Dawson is a contemporary romance. I went in with hope but once again I was unable to fully connect with the characters and with the romance, I didn’t feel the passion I felt more friendship than that burn of passion. The old-fashioned wording used for the romance was off putting. I like the premise is full of promise, but the story just didn’t flow for me.
I liked the idea of the secret Valentines and what Rose wanted to do for the town. I also liked that she is confident and is happy where she is at in her.
I am still open to see what the next book will be like. I am not giving up yet!
Mythical Alliance: Phoenix Team: The Complete Season by Claire Luana is a boxed set of 6 urban fantasy paranormal goodies. Claire has found a winner with this original fantasy series that is fast paced. The world building is carefully crafted as are the characters who are well developed and interesting. It is full of every kind of mythical creature and action and suspense. I enjoy Claire’s writing and she is becoming one of my go to authors. It is a boxed set of short stories, but it does not take away anything from the stories and the plots are solid, in fact it leaves you wanting more.
The series starts with our heroine who has just discovered that everything she thought she knew has been turned on its head with the death of her father and a strange new world. And so, the journey begins.

It is a charming and sweet romance with a little drama and deception as you would expect. Byrd’s Cinderella retelling is heart-warming with a little magic and Fae and has witty humour.

Athalie (Sacrificial Chronicles Book 1) by Jordan Elizabeth is a YA fantasy story. This story is unique and engaging and the jam-packed plot is well done. It is well written, and the world building is well done. It is easy to see the world as Jordan sees it. The characters are well developed and compelling. There are many twists and turns as we adventure along with Athalie that certainly keeps us on our toes.
Athalie is to be the sacrificial lamb for her tribe but the gods have other ideas. Now she just must be reborn and stop the world from being destroyed.

Dance of Hearts was a sweet and fast paced read with all the nods to one of my favorite old school fairy tales, Cinderella, and was written in a way that brought the magic of Jane Ausent novels that so captured my mind growing up. I was hesitant because historical dramas do not tend to be something I personally choose to pick up anymore. I do love the classics so they are often held to standards that are high in my personal opinion and I more often than not find things are a bit lacking for me in modern day historical reads. This one kept things light and fun and yet made you feel as if you traveled back to a much simpler and magical time.
Melinda Wynchwood is our main character and she is quite the character at that. While her latest predicament is not the best she keeps her spirits in a way we could all take a lesson from. I enjoyed the way she was written and the way this story had unique parts to it that are not quite what you would expect. I am eager to see what else Byrd Nash has in this particular genre.

Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye is the only book I got to read out of the Happily Ever After anthology, by various authors. It was a really good read! And it was hilarious too. I was rolling from laughing so much. The main character Perrie felt so relatable, it was like hearing a tale from your best friend. The only downside to this novel I had however, was that it felt like a continuation of another story. It was hard for me to get completely lost in this, because I felt like I was missing something. It started up like it was a sequel. Again, I’m not sure if it was or not, but of it wasn’t the author could have been more clear on past events to make what is happening easier for the reader to understand. Overall though I really enjoyed this novel! And I can’t wait to read more from the author in the future.

This is a great collection of amazing contemporary romance stories. You will get it all friends to lovers, second chance romance , and my favorite enemies to lovers. This is why the story Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye stood out to me. I have read a couple of books from this author but she always exceeds my expectations in her story telling.
Perrie and Ash knew each other for a long time and they had a hard past. She goes on a girl trip and she accidentally runs into Ash. Perrie still can’t get over him but she can’t stand what he did to her years ago. She puts out an add for a new roommate and she is in complete shock that Ash is now her new roommate. Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye. I loved this book. I love Marie Skye so I was super excited to read it and it did not disappoint other than the fact it was a little short. We meet Perrie & Ash who have met in University and even dated some and had a one night stand in Las Vegas. Now Ash needs a roommate and she has advertised for one. She’s not picky just a few things like no smoking or being all up in her business she just needs the money. When she gets one super fast she is shocked and happy until she realizes its none other than Perrie. While she still enjoys looking at Perrie she’s not so sure her heart can take this arrangement. When it comes to the wire though Perrie is there for her and that may be the best part of all.

Well this is a surprise! I enjoyed this and read it in one setting. No I’m not a speed reader..this is just good. The characters are fun and the story just kept me busy. I was trying to figure out who is the murderer. Guess what? I didn’t do it. I was suspicious but I didn’t guess right. Kudos to the author!
Overall it’s a good mystery with some romance. It’s nice to meet new characters and see some old ones. This author always keeps me on my toes and this book is no exception.

The Longest Run by Tracey Cramer-Kelly an emotional five-star read. I did not think this always deserved five-stars, as certain parts of the story annoyed me, but the fact the author was so brave with her leading man, pushed it over the edge. Both main characters have a past and have been broken but have put the pieces back together, but they haven’t ever been who again, hopefully now they meet they can start to become whole again, but it’s not an easy slope to climb, and sometimes you have to fall to make it to the top.

Stormy’s Thunder by Manda Mellett a thrilling five-star read. This is number two in the Satan’s Devils MC Utah series and it could be read as stand-alone, but honestly its better if you read the Utah series in order as you would miss the build up to Stormy’s story. I feel like I have done an about turn on this main character, as I really wasn’t keen on him previously, but as we have gotten to know the man behind the cut, we understand the real him, I am so taken by him in ways I never imagined. This story has so much going on it could get confused but Manda Mellett has done a great job of keeping the story unfolding and on track.

This is a well-written YA fantasy, with plenty of magic, adventure and suspense. The plot has lots of twists and turns and the world-building is so deftly woven. The main characters, Roana and Iniko, have an incredible journey of self-discovery and coming of age that doesn’t feel cliche or forced, and the characters are strong while also given space to grow and develop over the course of the novel. Even if you’re not a fan of fantasy, somehow this seems to transcend the genre.

Pleading with the Gods, Athalie comes back as a spirit to persuade the high priest and others to stop from unleashing the weapon, but is it too late or can she carry this humungous burden successfully on her shoulders?
This dystopian fantasy is really easy to read, it took me less than 2 hours to finish the book. I really liked the way all the characters and their costumes were described. The sacrificial scenes and the elaborate effort which is taken to prepare the sacrifice are especially were described in great detail. Overall, a very breezy and a light read.

This is the second book in the Thunder on The Moor series. Because of that I would recommend reading the first one so you can follow the story. I love these books as they are full of adventure as well as romance. They are set in a past era and the author does any amazing job of brining that time to life.
Will and Maggie are finally together but how long will their happiness last. They are on the run to try and protect Will from Maggie’s family but their happiness won’t last long. When Will is named as an outlaw and sentenced to hang Maggie is forced to return to her family.
When she is returned her uncle continues to make plans for her to marry Ian the man who murdered her father. Maggie fights him but is she strong enough to overcome this.
With Will waiting to be hanged his family are coming up with a plan to rescue him. Will it be in time to save him? Will Will and Maggie be reunited or are the destined to be separated forever? Will the truth about the lies Ian told Maggie’s family come into the open or will they continue to be convinced by his charm and silver tongue?

Matching Miriam by Mya O’Malley was a good 4 star read. If you’re looking for a suspenseful read that pulls you right in this is the one for you.
Miriam is a police detective and she doesn’t have it easy. She is working on a case, searching for a killer which is challenging. She has a pretty big wall built up around her heart. And her current boyfriend is getting a little clingy.
Jessie has returned to New York and is now a firefighter. He has a history with Miriam that has caused some hurt feelings. When these two see each other again old feelings come rushing back. Will Miriam let Jessie back in?
Overall this was a great read. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. I was surprised at the ending which I loved. The author does a great job with her writing and you feel like you’re right there with the characters. We get suspense, murder, mystery and so much more. Wow! I really enjoyed this book! It is family drama that makes you question a few things. Something that is never thought about. When certain family members are fighting how does it affect everyone else? Choosing sides? Ignoring? Or just never visit? This story took me on a journey. It involves a family that has been broken apart and a girl who could be the answer everyone seeks.
This story just would not let go of me! I wanted answers and I couldn’t put this down until I had them all. The characters are misguided, flawed and all looking for something. They are all simply delightful from the two MC to their respective families. I want to give a shout out to Sandra’s mother. She brought some joy to this and made me smile whenever she encountered those boys.
That epilogue!!! OMG I cracked up! Such a great ending plus setting up another book. Perfect!
I just really loved this and look forward to more from this series or this author.
