Oo i was happy when I say a new book from this author was out, I grabbed it right up. I’ve enjoyed this whole series and I enjoy this authors writing style and i know whenever I pick up one of their books I know I’m going to like it. This one is no different. This is a orgin story so you’re getting a look at this cool fantasy world before starting book one. I am glad I picked this one up and I am looking forward to more by this author in future! Scoob and her brother, RC, have had the worst year of their lives. It actually started before that when their mother left without a word. The Echo Series is one of my favorite series I’ve read in the last year or so. Each story shares the lives of a couple, how they find each other and figure out what life living with their soulmate means. In the series prequel, we meet Gene and Amanda. Gene has just returned to his hometown Gainesville Georgia when he sees a car veer off the road. As a trained ER doctor, Gene Rowland can’t just leave someone who is hurt. The person behind the wheel he meets is Amanda Garner who definitely needs care and an ambulance. The reason Amanda had the accident was because she almost hit a teenager. No one believes Amanda actually saw a real girl, they think it was the town ghost that people swear they see dressed in blue. Amanda and Gene find a connection with each other but like many couples, they have some disagreements and setbacks.

Lois Wickstrom is a wonderful author of children’s books. This book is just one of many that I have read and they all draw you in and take you to the depths of your imagination. Not to mention the amazing illustrations that help tell the story. You cannot go wrong with The Marshmallow Rabbit or even with any book by Lois Wickstrom.
My household is always beyond excited when I bring a book home by this author. I never skip their work as I have come to love every single one of their books! The illustrations were absolutely gorgeous and incredibly eye-catching. I thought the story was of perfect length as well as a lovely blend of fun and lightheartedness. Many books by this author contain a life lesson or two, and I think this one came across lovely. Don’t take anything too seriously! This is a read that is sure to give everyone around you the giggles. I highly recommend picking this up for your home or your classroom where various activities can be woven in.
This is the story of Wynnie and the mysterious egg. She quickly learns that it’s a dragon egg and asks the King if she can keep it. At first, the King says no because the baby dragon is breathing fire everywhere and damaging the kingdom! But Wynnie is persistent and promises the King she can train it. He’s hesitant, but since she is his trusted advisor, he gives her ONE day to try to train the baby dragon. Can she do it? I love how Wickstrom is able to weave lessons into her captivating books. Your kiddos will learn a valuable lesson all while being entertained. I love the fantastic illustrations that go along with the story. Definitely pick this one up to add to your collection! I was excited to come across Under Jackson Bridge in the kindle store because I’ve read books by Susan Specht Oram in the best and really enjoyed them. I really enjoyed this book overall, though there were some things toward the beginning of the storyline that made me a little judgy. Things so insignificant now that I’ve finished the book, I couldn’t list them… except for Jack and his shoes! While there were times that I felt the storyline was a little slow to pick up, I loved that by the time I got to the end of a chapter, I was left in suspense and needed to read “just one more”. Each of the main characters made me suspicious and I never quite warmed up to them but the writing and twists of the storyline make it absolutely worth the ride. I am honestly excited that the author is releasing this as a series and look forward to seeing what book number two is like!

A Song of Salt and Secrets (Mythic Academy Collection) by Amanda Marin – Review by Jessica Stone
I haven’t read anything else in this Collection, but I don’t believe it is necessary to enjoy this delight read. If you’re looking for something in YA Romantasy genre this book definitely fits the bill.
The story is about a young girl named Corisande who is a siren attending a school specifically for sirens to learn to control their abilities, without control their gifts can run rampant and hurt not only others but themselves.
One fateful day, she saves Noah after his boat crashes on the cliffs near her school and she immediately finds herself undeniably drawn to him as he is to her.
Very sweet relationship blossoms between these two it actually brought tears to my eyes, Corisande is so sweet and compassionate it’s hard not to fall in love with her character and thankfully Noah isn’t your run of the mill wealthy young lad. The bond between them that forms upon meeting is enviable to be sure.
For such a quick read I really enjoyed this book, I’m interested to see more into this world and dive deeper into the fantasy’s created, I’d like to see some expansion from her best friend sera’s character because she was a wonderful supporting roll, and I believe whole heartedly she deserves her own HEA.

This was such a cute little story. As we follow Mr. Bonbon’s struggle with Annabelle stealing his candy. He came up with a really interesting concept for catching her and stopping her from stealing. It was so cute to watch how Annabelle out smarted him in the end, as she proved to be a very resilient girl. I think many kids would enjoy this book and highly recommend it to any parent for their child.
This was a cute book. It provides an easy to understand take on what happens when you get a scrape. It’s definitely kid friendly for the demographic intended. I could see students I work with being engaged in this book. It is well thought out.

Lois Wickstrom did it again with another cute childrens book. The one was geared for 5 to 8 year olds. The world building was great. I love the illustrations and how it follows the story. The pictures had bright colors.
Can I Keep Her? Is Book 2 in the Kingdom of Mir series and what a fun and enjoyable read for the ages 4-8 and just as fun for the young at heart. Colorful illustrations bring the story to life and are engaging…I highly recommend this wonderful story…..

Mj Murray never seems to disappoint in her books. Amese of Animalis is a children’s chapter book that is gear for 10-14 year olds. I believe if you love a good book with magic with adventure, you will enjoy it as well. The detailing is great. The world building is amazing. I can’t wait for the next book.

4 stars Can I Keep Her? Is exactly what I would say if I ever found an egg and hatchling dragon. But how do you keep it from causing what it is inherently meant to do? Well, you will have to follow along with Wynnie to see what she comes up with. This is the second book in Lois’ Kingdom of Mir series. It is just as delightful as the first book where there are a bounty of characters. The fun comes alive with the simplistic and colourful illustrations by the artist Timna Green. Everybody deserves a little love even a misunderstood baby dragon.

As usual, this book was an entertaining and fun story that kids can relate to so easily. This book felt much more topical that the others thanks to my son’s recent discovery of climbing (and falling). Bandages have become a regular staple in our household and this book made it all seem so much more exciting than it otherwise would have been. The illustrations in the book were incredible and we all loved looking at each and every one of them. They really brought the story to life and had is returning to it time and again. This book, and this author, is fantastic and a book that is definitely worth reading.

This book is the first in a new series and is a well written and intriguing thriller. It was clear that not everything was as it seemed and I loved watching how the plot unfolded. There were many twists and turns throughout the book, all of which keep you on the edge of your seat until the end. Having become familiar with this author through another one of her series I was looking forward to seeing what this one had to offer. If this first book is anything to go by, I expect this one will be even better!

I have read a couple of books from these authors and they have me hooked. This is the second book to the Finnerty and Liccione mystery series. You can read this as a stand-alone but there was another case that got these two together first. This book has you at the edge of your seat until the very end. I can’t wait to see what is next for these two brilliant authors.
Marnie and Louise find themselves teaming up again. They are assigned a very violent death. When they start the case they feel like something is not right. Marnie and Louise go straight to the wife of Josh Baker. She tells them Josh was in a Health Clinic trying to better himself. Marnie and Louise start to get some questions answered and they are not liking where this case is going. Is this case going to get solved or will it become way to dangerous?

Marshmallow Rabbit is a cute and entertaining story about a mischievous little girl named Annabelle who loves candy. Whenever Mr. Bonbon has a tour of his candy factory Annabelle is there. She looks innocent because she wears little dresses and frilly little socks and looks sweet and innocent. However, on every tour she takes candy from the factory. Annabelle started out taking just a little treat but as she became bolder, she started taking bigger candy. Mr. Bonbon knows that Annabelle is stealing candy and is determined to stop her from stealing anymore candy from his factory. Annabelle seems to be able to outsmart him each time so he decides to teach her a lesson and creates a giant sticky marshmallow rabbit that he knows she will not be able to resist. Will she fall for the bait? Will she learn a lesson at all, or will she outsmart Mr. Bonbon again? This was a cute story, but I feel as though the book might have ended a little bit too soon and that the lesson in this book might be overlooked by the age group that it was intended for. Annabelle ends up getting away with stealing and does not seem to learn that her behavior is wrong. Overall, this was a good book with beautiful bright illustrations and a cute and engaging story line.

Another good story in this series. There is a new element added in here by the way of Natalia family. She unwittingly becomes involved in the hunt for Lucas. She seems to be a stand up girl who is tired of always being treated like a baby by her brothers. Oradea is another vampire trying to protect his legacy and property. He meets and unexpectedly falls for the princess of the Benzini family. He is honorable in that respect as he tries to resist her in favor of relations between the Vampires and Syndicate. This all leads to some sexy times as well as action scenes. We see a lot of the past Masters and their mates when they come to town. Things are getting heated on the Rogue side and I look forward to the next installment.

Wynnie’s love for the baby dragon is genuine, but she also learns to prioritize the well-being of others and the kingdom. Ruarnon is back and they are travelling towards the Kingdom in the West, which is controlled by King Nartzeer, a sorcerer king who wants to rule over all other lands including the Tarlah and Zaldean lands of which Ruarnon is the joint King and Regent. Now that they have brought these two countries together in peace and finished their journey to the East, they are relaying their discoveries to their council, and they are something which had they not seen with their own eyes even they would not have believed it.
The journey revealed the truth behind the myths of the Guardians and the magic which they wielded in order for them to use end the previous Sorcery War by removing all other magic and disappearing without a trace. The truth which was revealed is that the magic never left, people just stopped using it and instead fear grew in its place, however, they are now coming out of hiding because of King Nartzeer and his recruitment of them for his own aims. Meanwhile Linh and her Australian group are determined to find sorcerers who will help them to open the gateways back to their homeland.
Thus, Ruarnon is now following a path they have been set on to rescue their parents, family and captured soldiers who they now feel responsible for, but with a secondary aim with their allies of defeating Nartzeer, which is easier said than done with them having the most powerful sorcerers fighting against them, but the first thing that they must do it send scouting parties to gather essential information, however, the level of magic surrounding the coastline is higher than they could have imagined.
As this dangerous journey commences and the paries split up to cover more ground, will Ruarnon, Linh and their allies find the answers they seek and be able to free the land from out from under King Nartzeer’s rule, or will they be captured and enslaved like their kinsman? This is another epic adventure filled with tension, magic, truths, lies and loyalty as good and evil clash in a fight for land, people and the right to rule them.

Mealtime at the Zoo by James Williamson is such a cute story. My girls love PB&J sandwiches; this was a great way to interact (and relate) with the story and see others enjoying their favorite sandwich. The illustrations are so beautiful and the story is just perfect! This story is good for any PB&J lover kiddos who also love animals.

This was a great read for any child, the main storyline was catchy and short for the younger readers to keep interested, and then there’s science facts throughout it explaining what’s happening under a bandage when you get hurt. These were great for a kid like mine (7) who’s really into science stuff right now. Would definitely recommend this book. Great for homeschooling as well.

What an amazing prequel. This is the prequel to The Crown of Stones trilogy. It’s an amazing story of magic and fantasy. It’s a well-written tale of one man’s navigation. I found the story was one that I couldn’t put down. I was hooked right from the start. These characters are ones that draw you in. They each have their own unique personalities. Somehow, they all meshed together as they had to go on their mission.The writing is excellent. This author weaves a wonderful tale of magic and fantasy that takes you on an exciting tale through a land of war, and trouble. This is a story that you should give a read to.

What another well-done addition to the series. I found this story to be full of characters that brought the mystery to life. Detective Scala had to figure out the biggest challenge to life: work/family balance. I found the story to be well-written and balanced out well. I always enjoy the plot and the characters. The author writes the stories in such a way that they grab you right from the start. I suggest you jump right in and try this one.
