Darcy’s Caution (Pride & Prejudice & Racecars Book 3) by Zoe Burton. I’m simply loving these stories and this authors writing. This one is probably my favorite. The characters are complex and relatable. Will and Liz just draw you into their world and when it’s all said and done you probably won’t want to leave. There’s definitely times I found myself trying to read faster to know what happened next and read slower because I didn’t want it to end. But all great things come to an end and this was a great story. It’s mix of suspense, racing and romance are perfectly done by the author. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. Five stars and highly recommend!
The book is an action adventure story with twists and turns on every page.

They grew up in different places each with the demons the Seh left them. She appears back in his life, at an inconvenient time, ready to collect on the promise. He has a different idea. This is a heart wrenching emotional read that thankfully has the Rebel brand of quirky humor weaved throughout to lighten all the dark.
Rebel is retired from a career in EMS (Emergency Medical Service) as a first responder. One downfall of her profession was never knowing what happens next. Once a patient is safely in the emergency room, she never knew if they recovered, if their family made it in time, or if life could go on. She dealt with the stress by writing rich backstories and twisting their trauma into a happily ever after. She writes real-life horror and the darkest pieces of humanity but with light through the scars, love, healing, and humor. After becoming intimately involved in the trials and tribulations of her characters, she laughs when they laugh, cries when they cry, and sighs at the end. Rebel hopes you, too, get lost in another world, find light in the dark, get inspired, and get frisky with your Love.
Rebel Nicks O’dey is blissfully married to her childhood sweetheart. It’s easy to write about love and romance when you know what it is. She has several amazing children. She has lived in three states and six homes in the last ten years. So, where she is from, is a complicated question. Rebel dreamed of writing books and sharing them with the world from a very early age. She is a two-time National Winner of the Young Authors Contest, but then life happened. Like most adults, she forgot about her dreams and grew up. Writing became a stress relief, a hobby, and nothing more. Surviving Cancer changed her perspective. Life is short, stop surviving it; live it.

San Diego Dead: An Action Thriller (Jake Wolfe Book 4) by Mark Nolan
I have loved this series since the first time I met Jake and Cody. This book is just as amazing. This story is full of action and fast paced. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the time while I was reading. This book is definitely a nail-biter. Every time I start reading one of these books I know it’s going to be an all nighter because it pulls me right in and I can’t put it down until I find out how it ends. I love how this story I’d so full of detail that I feel like I’m right there in it. This is a must read if you want to find out if Jake and Cody can find their way out of the situation they have found themselves in and if they can save a lot of innocent lives.

This is a really quick read. I read every word of the story in about 2 hours. The formatting of the book is set up with super short chapters moving the story along in a linear timeline.
The story has a strong middle and end and while I appreciate a less detailed story, this book is written with such an abbreviated beginning it was hard to understand HOW the instalove came about.
It will be interesting to see if Chase will be mentioned in future installments of this series.

Flower Shields (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 1) by C.A. King
5-Stars
Flower Shields (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 1) by C.A. King is an excellent fantasy romance novel. Easily worth its 5-stars. Tara and Michael are the main characters. Tara is somehow mixed up in a scenario involving a key. Michael is looking for it as well but to keep it from landing in the hands of demons. Tara is attacked by demons and is whisked away by Michael. That is when things really go crazy.
This story was easy to follow and fun to read. I loved the development and plot twist. The characters were very creative and the backstory was exciting. It was a different fictional beginning for all life. I really enjoyed this novel and hope other readers will too.

I really enjoyed reading the second book in the Lawson Family series, Protecting His Heart. This book really resonated with me because it deals with a subject I have dealt with in my personal life, abuse by a loved one. Ian was abused by his alcoholic father as a child and Rachel is dealing with an abusive boyfriend. I’ve been in both of those situations so I can truly relate to the main characters of this book and how they feel. It seems from the moment they met, Ian and Rachel were meant for each other, but can they overcome their fears and deal with the issues in their lives and make a life together, or will they let their fears and pasts keep them apart?
While reading this small-town romance, you feel as if you are a part of the story. Like this is happening right here in my own small town and these are my friends! I can see them all gathered at our local baseball field playing games and having a few beers. It’s a realistic look at small town life, the closeness of not only family but friends as well. It is a story of faith, love, and most of all, forgiveness. I look forward to reading Ben’s story next and highly recommend this series!

Elemental Fae Academy: Book Two: A Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance by Lexi C. Foss & J.R. Thorn is a fabulous addition to this series and it certainly turns up the heat and steam. I could not wait for this book as these sneaky I am in love with the characters, who have captivated me, and the world these great authors have created. The creativity and uniqueness of the magnificent writing draws you in to a place that you can easily imagine due to its richness and vividness. These pairing of these two authors is brilliant. Battling Beckett: A Contemporary Step Brother Romance by T. Christensen is a young adult romance story. It is a fun read but our main male character is decidedly a bad person who I did not like, he is the typical rich, entitled boy who gets what he wants . He a bit overpowering in the ego department who made the life of our female lead miserable. I would have liked to see the story told in multiple POV’s.
Greer and her mum are moving in with the Dawson’s, the new step brother and his dad. Beckett is not a happy camper and is out to make life a living hell. A new elite school where our top dog and number one egotistical Beckett goes and is the big football star doesn’t make life any easier for her. Somewhere along the way she finds herself with an attraction to the one who makes life miserable and inferior but will she act on those feelings?

Secrets Never Die by Laurie Lewis is a very, very clever suspense story that keep you on your toes as you try to navigate the delightful twists and turns. It really shows off Laurie’s talent as an author as the plot whilst seemingly random, is one dance that is so intricately woven together, yet delivered to draw you in. The characters are well developed and believable to read. There is action and drama, suspense and thrills that will keep you tied to your chair as you try to piece it all together and try to work through the puzzles. Laurie has done great job with this story and it is one of the best suspense stories I have read this year.
You need to read and discover the world that Laurie has created so you won’t be getting any spoilers from me.

Devil’s Due is the third book in Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett. This is definitely my favourite of the crossover series so far. It is full of protective biker action, drama, emotion, sizzle, danger, some suspense, and much more. After loving the previous series soooo much, I have had some pretty high expectations for this series, and Ms. Mellett doesn’t disappoint. I was excited to read this story, and if you have been following her series, you will want to read this book! Trust me! As expected from Ms. Mellett’s stories there is always an incredible plot that will hook you right off the bat, with an unpredictability to the storyline that will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. With surprising developments and a few twists along the way to keep things really interesting. But it’s the characters who really make these stories so exceptional- and these books wouldn’t be the same without the superbly crafted and complex individuals who make you believe in them, invest in them, and root for them the whole way though. If you love a really well written, original, and riveting MC story- with complex, interesting and endearing characters- then let Ms. Mellett take you on a ride you won’t soon forget!

What an amazing series and so glad to be able to get them all in a set now! India Kells is a must read author, everything she writes leaves you wanting more at the end. All these books have everything you need, a great but damaged hero, the woman they need but never wanted and drama and of course fire bedroom scenes. You won’t be disappointed in these books there’s something for everyone and once you read one you’ll want them all. I won’t give any of it away as the synopsis’ gives enough to hook you.

Friend : A College Romance (What Happens on Campus Book 3) by M L Sparrow. Another great story by an author who knows what readers are looking for. While yes this story does have some hard subjects that can cause triggers but the author took the time to write them well. The characters are complex and relatable. Jet And Terri are characters that draw you in and make you sad when the story ends. I was definitely taken on an emotional roller coaster journey. Each character brings something different to the story and you just get lost in the story world the author created. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend!

Friend is the third book that I have read by this author and it was just as good as the first two in this series. It is a friends to lovers sports romance that had me turning page after page to find out what was happening next. Terri is your everyday down to earth college student who has her life together. That is until she is attacked one day and her world begins to shatter. Her shining light seems to be her best friend Jet who is doing everything he can to get her our of this funk. She’s always seen him as more than a friend but hes always had her strictly in the friend zone! All that changes when he starts to see her in a different light and the lines between them become blurred. This story was an awesome one and I am looking forward to reading more by this author! I I would recommend to anyone that likes friends to lovers romances!

Elemental Fae Academy was a great 5 star read and book one in the Elemental Fae Academy series. This is my first read from these authors and I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read more from this series. This is a reverse harem and I couldn’t put the book down until I was done.
Claire has been raised by her grandparents, not knowing what she really was. When Claire kisses someone in a bar things change quickly. She finds out that she is really a fae and she now has powers. She finds out who the stranger she kissed is, he is also a fae.
Claire is different than most fae, she finds herself attracted to five different men due to the five elements. The men help Claire get control of her powers. She also has to deal with a mean girl group at the school where she is learning.
There is so much more that goes one. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I will warn we get a heck of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. 1-click and get started today on this great series.

Somehow Mellett continues to build this MC universe in such a way that leaves me breathless and wanting more. These characters – wow. I could not have predicted, although I should expect this by now, to have been so immediately captivated by the storyline. This was my favorite female lead so far of the series. Just an extremely well written book with characters that come to life. Absolutely loved it!

Elemental Fae Academy (Elemental Fae Academy Book 1) by Lexi C. Foss & J.R. Thorn – Review by Randall Murphy The author builds a new and intoxicating world that keeps the imagination engaged. The characters have depth and are presented in a way that makes them very real to the reader. The story is entertaining, interesting, and a little naughty. It has something to offer any reader of romance, mythical fiction, or just good story telling. While the good guys and bad guys seem pretty identifiable, there are enough twists and turns to keep you wondering how the main character will work her way through the difficulties.

Elemental Fae Academy by Lexi Foss and J.R Thorn was a fun paranormal read! I would give this book a four out of five stars. I loved the world building, the authors did a great job creating the world without being overly detailed. The information you find out comes at a good pace as well, which just makes the whole story flow. Claire’s world was rocked based on a dare and her character slowly acclimates to her new reality. I love the idea of a reverse harem and am always looking for one that also has a really good story and this book met that goal.

This is the third book in the “College Romance” series and it has been a long time since I read the others in this series.
FRIEND is a “friends to more” story that has a decent flow to it and is easy to follow along as it moves along. As with the other stories in the series there are situations which are all too real.
The characters were well developed and the story moved on a decent timeline.

Friend, a College Romance is the third book in the What Happens on Campus series by M.L. Sparrow. This is a well written friends to lover’s romance that brought so much like drama, love, and so much more. What I have loved about this is the author did not disappoint is strong characters with a story line that sucks you in from beginning to the end. Terri, dealing with a trauma doesn’t ask for help, EVER. So she decided to stay back when the rest go home for Spring Break, and so does her Jet that she has had a crush on for years. Jet had only ever showed Teri he wanted to be her friend and after spending time together things start to change. Can these two risk a friendship to explore if there is more and can Terri get past the past and love? You must read to find out more!!I highly recommend this five star read!

This is not a stand-alone. Book 2 of ELEMENTAL FAE ACADEMY picks up where Book 1 ends.
FLOVE this series. As is typical with any good trilogy, book 2 has an arch that continues with character development and information that moves the story forward.
I have to wait for Book 3 to come out and I am setting myself a reminder to read books 1 and 2 back to back before beginning book 3.

Foss & J.R. Thorn – Review by Maura Harper
The Elemental Fae Academy (Elemental Fae Academy #1) by Lexie C. Foss & J.R. Thorn was a fun book that I enjoyed a lot. I found it to be engaging and it definitely kept me interested. The sex scenes were smoking hot. I like the writing style and the characters. Overall I enjoyed it and would rate it 4 stars! Can’t wait to read the rest of the books.

Foss & J.R. Thorn – Review by Amber Lange
I give Elemental Fae Academy: Book One: A Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance by Lexi C. Foss & J.R. Thorn, 5 stars.
Claire is out celebrating her birthday when she feels an odd overwhelming attraction to a complete stranger at the bar. On a dare, she goes over and kisses him. Little does she know what she really started. She passes out and the next thing she knows, she wakes up in a place of fairy tales, told things she cannot really believe. Are these people crazy? Maybe not, since part of her deep down knows the truth — that she’s not completely human. But having powers? And being attracted to more than one man? Can she handle her new life?
I could not believe just how good this book was. The story is engaging and keeps you on your toes. There is adventure, action, humor, and of course, romance. But really, it’s the characters that really make this book exceptional. Claire herself is what any girl would be when told all of this. Yet she follows her heart, something everyone should do. The men, while each one is completely different, are all so real and you want to get to know them better. Let us not forget the secondary characters too, they are also unforgettable. I could not put this book down and am rushing to read the next in the series, something I haven’t felt the absolute need to do in a long time.
This is a spicey book with plenty of heat, and an alternative lifestyle involving multiple men. If you are okay with reading that, I completely recommend this book. Go get it now!

Foss & J.R. Thorn – Review by Erin Wolf
I have been waiting for this story since Flirt. Friend by M.L. Sparrow was a wonderful story about two best friends who finally give in to their feeling for one another. Terri and Jet first met freshmen year and have watched their friends fall in love.
When Terri was attacked one night coming home, everything changes in her life even her relationship with Jet. While they stay behind for Spring Break, Jet makes a point to not let Terri stay cooped up in her room. With these two alone, their relationship starts to change.
Wonderful group of friends happy, great writing and very real events that can happen while in college. If you love college romance books, you need to read this series.

Sparrow – Review by Jessica Leombruno
Friend by M.L. Sparrow is Book 3 in the series. I’m not sure if maybe I should’ve read the others before reading this book but, I don’t think that is the case. The main characters I. This book are Jet and Terri. Terri was attacked one night when she was out alone. She was usually with her friend Jet but that night he was home. Luckily for her Ben and his dog Jester were there and scared off the attacker but unfortunately it wasn’t soon enough. However, Terri feels Jester and Ben saved her life.
Jet and Terri have been friends….best friends for years. All this time, Terri has had a big crush on Jet but he never knew and they were just friends. Finally during spring break, most of the crew goes home except, you guessed it…Terri and Jet stayed on campus. Jet spends a lot of time helping Terri overcome her fear and keep her busy. While they are out Jet finally realizes he has real feeling for her. Feelings that are more then friendship. Will Terri take Jet seriously or will she think he’s just doing this because of what happened? I thought this book was well written but, it couldn’t keep my attention. I feel like the pages were drawn out and found myself putting my kindle down and taking a break after every chapter.

Sparrow – Review by Michelle Mulvey
I wanna scream to everyone I know to read this series! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book!
I thought Book #1 in this series was amazing, that was until I picked up this one! Lexi C. Foss & J.R. Thorn has done it again this book was filled with action, adventure, suspense, romance, high fantasy and magic! I loved everything about this read, it was full of twists and turns that had you on the edge of your seat. It leaves you guessing what could happen and has you believing you are there alongside the characters in their journey. Once again its a mentally visual read that I thoroughly enjoy getting captivated in. This is a world that you are transported into and don’t want to leave. I absolutely love following the main characters journey and the growth they make.
I can’t wait to be thrown back into this world and see where Book #3 takes us. I highly recommend this book to really find out more!
