Battling Beckett: A Contemporary Step Brother Romance by T. Christensen is a young adult romance story. It is a fun read but our main male character is decidedly a bad person who I did not like, he is the typical rich, entitled boy who gets what he wants . He a bit overpowering in the ego department who made the life of our female lead miserable. I would have liked to see the story told in multiple POV’s.

Greer and her mum are moving in with the Dawson’s, the new step brother and his dad. Beckett is not a happy camper and is out to make life a living hell. A new elite school where our top dog and number one egotistical Beckett goes and is the big football star doesn’t make life any easier for her. Somewhere along the way she finds herself with an attraction to the one who makes life miserable and inferior but will she act on those feelings?

An enjoyable read.
