If I could describe this book in one word it would be – FATE. The Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe had the right amount of a push-pull relationship with a side of an emotional roller coaster to keep you turning the pages. Elena and Weston are meant to be together no matter the length of time apart or distance between them. As this was my first book by this author and I’m a sucker for a good second chance romance: I really enjoyed Elena and Weston’s story. This book needs to be on everyone’s TBR for the year.

Nite Fire Flashpoiont is the first book in the Nite Fire series by CL Schneider. The book follows Dahlia Nite who has spent her life protecting people from what hides in the shadows. Dahlia, a shapeshifting assassin, find a portal to earth and spends the next 100 years hiding evidence that the world she comes from exists. When Dahlia starts to investigate murders, she must find out who is doing this, why they are doing this, and make sure what information needs to be hidden stays hidden.
This book is amazingly written and grabs you from the get go, Schneider truly gave us a book that I could not put down. A story of lies, love, and betrayal surrounds Dahlia and grabs you are a reader. The worlds that this author created, and everything Dahlia must go through are strongly written and the imagination on this truly held me and I needed to finish. I so easily got lost in this amazing story and can not wait to read more in the series and from this author. I give this book 5 stars and highly recommend.
Four Stars So good! I enjoy biker books and this author has written some really good ones. Paladin and Jayden are so funny to me. They’re young and naïve. But Jayden has experienced so much pain. The life she had before the MC was unbelievable I liked that we got to see more of Hellfire and Mo’s relationship. They’re a testament of love. They fought so many obstacles and yet still came out on top. I really enjoyed how the author develop Jayden’s character. The growth shown between Paladin and Jayden. Reviewed by @gguerrero89
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I liked it, there were parts where I did feel the story was lacking a little but there was a huge amount of potential and I did think the author had a very good developing writing style that improved over the story. I did find that I wanted to keep reading on and finding out more about Amy. She was a character that I struggled to connect with at first but I did find that the more I read about her the more I began to understand the direction to author was trying to take her character in. I really liked the movie feel that the book had and this is what definitely helped keep my attention. The author’s attention to detail was good and I could imagine what I was reading. I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author! @katiem
Full Glasses and Burju Shoes By Blake Blessing Rated 5 stars!!
Wowzer! This is an off the charts great book! I was unsure about this book at first. I simply did not know about the title. What are Burju shoes? Once I started reading it— I could not put this thing down. I am wholly impressed at the writing in here. It is so smooth and the character development was perfect. The story itself was engaging and full of turmoil. It is a bit edgier but completely worth it. The emotions and life lessons surprised me. I went from high- highs to low- lows right along with the characters. So many wonder lessons were highlighted so I could remember them.
I flipping loved the way these two main Characters are together! I can’t get over the way Emil touches her, smiles/laughs for her and how his eyes sparkle….all for his girl! Or is that what she does for him?? Bringing in the whole PTSD issue? It was done very well. It makes me stop and think about this struggle for our military personnel. When Emil told Perrin:
“ You are the one light in the smothering darkness of my life”
I about cried! To say that and feel that way! Wow!
I can not recommend this book enough! If you want to read a well written book that has wonderful characters and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. One-Click this baby!
Paladin’s Hell: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #1 By Manda Mellett
I loved reading the story of Jayden and Paladin. It was an emotional read and kept me on the edge of my seat through most of the story. After everything that Jay has been through I couldn’t help myself but keep rooting for her to find happiness and remain safe. Pal is such a good guy I hope he gets everything he wants. There are also so many other wonderful characters that you can’t help but feel connected to them. The Satan’s Devils are are such a close knit group, and I enjoyed reading about the dynamics of their group and the different personalities. This book has some suspense, violence, romance, love, steamy moments, laughter, and tears. This book does have an interesting dynamic between a couple that have been together for over thirty years and a couple just starting out and I loved it. This book has all the emotions I want in a great read!! I can’t wait to read more of these books. I highly recommend this book.

My first time reading a book by this author. It was good book. It’s normally not a type of book I would read, but it shocked me with the twists and turns of this book. You keep getting pulled into something you didn’t expect. I would read other books by this author at times if it has the same plots and twists! The author has an amazing spirit when it comes to writing. Can’t wait to read the second book.
The Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe is a contemporary adult romance story that is raw and takes you on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. It is a story of love and loss, heartache and second chances. Of memories and what if’s, of looking for something that could only be found deep inside yourself. The characters are well developed and their lives will hit you right in the heart and have you falling in love with them. There are flashbacks to explain the back stories and how they got to where they are now. Lisa’s description of the town and its people is so vivid you can imagine it.
Elena is a successful lawyer and a killer in the courtroom and always keeps her emotions at bay. So when she returns home, years after she left, she is at a crossroad and struggling and until she really lets herself feel and work through her emotions and memories can she truly begin to live again.
It is a beautiful and bittersweet story that is a great read

It is always a great and exciting adventure to take whilst reading a novel of Megan O’Flynn’s. There isn’t a book of her’s that I haven’t devoured yet so when I saw the new release blitz for this one I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! The countdown was one of great anticipation, and Ms. O’Flynn did not disappoint. If you are new to Megan O’Flynn’s work then you are in for a super mind-bending and blood-tingling story that will keep you entertained from the very first words to the epic and unexpected ending. (Something that Megan seems to be superb as writing!)
Meeting Deputy Sheriff William Shannahan was quite the experience. I truly enjoyed his character. He is determined to keep his quiet and quaint town just that When a killer is on the loose he has to step up his game, especially when the beautiful Cassie Parker, and her kid, are seemingly in the path of danger too.
The details are raw and rich, so much so that you feel as if you are right there with the cast of characters experiencing the book as it happens. This is actually one of my favorite things about the way that Megan O’Flynn writes. She really has the knack for bringing these worlds to life, it is quite unsettling, and in turn makes for a fantastic thriller novel. I personally can not wait to see what will come next from her. All I know is I will be the first in line! Thanks for another great thrill read Ms. O’Flynn!
Paladin’s Hell by Manda Mellett is book one of the Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) Series. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but it was really good.
Paladin became Jayden’s savior. From there feelings developed. However, Jayden was way too young for anything to come of those feelings. Paladin has waited patiently and will wait for Jayden as long as he needs. Threats against Jayden force Jayden and Paladin to Colorado where everything changes. Paladin’s new prez is Hellfire. Throughout the book there is tension between Hellfire and his wife and those tensions translate into how they treat Jayden and Paladin. Will their young love survive or will they be tested too much?
I enjoyed this book. I liked that not only was it told from Jayden and Paladins point of view but it also gave us Hellfire and Moira’s point of view. Instead of just watching things happen between both couples you experience it through their POV. This book is very well written. I can’t wait to read more.

Climbing The Walls by Sacha T. Y. Fortune is the first book in the Hart and Cole series. This book really delves into the complexities that is married life. It highlights that, no matter how much we might want to, sometimes we just can be perfect at everything. Sometimes we need to accept the way things actually are. This book has introduced me to an entirely new author and what a way to be introduced it was. This book had everything. It had passion and romance as well as angst and nail biting moments. It is a detailed and interesting book. The author never lets the story rest for too long before she is moving it on and developing the characters. I enjoyed how I didn’t always like one of the main characters as well. For me that is exactly how it can be in “real life” and it was great to see that reflected well in a book. It really helped me to connect with them. This was a fantastic way to discover a new author and I am looking forward to the rest of this series.

I have to say that I was gripped from the first page of this book till the very end. I like how the author brings in the past conflict around the main character. I really enjoyed my first read from this author. I know that this is the second book in the series but I am famous for reading books out of order.
I really found myself lured into the Alex’s world. I found that the drama unfolded around the characters and it was like I was part of the world. I found the author’s way of writing the story really draws you in and you find yourself swept away in the drama. I really found myself routing for Alex. The way his past comes into play really adds to the drama. I really couldn’t put the book down as I wanted to see what would happen next. I will definitely be reading more from this author and I must really also read more of this series.

When I read the description of “The Memory of Us” I thought it was going to be like so many other romance books I have read over the years. They all follow a typical boy and girl see each other after years of being apart and rekindle their relationship. While this book sort of follows those lines, it is so much more than that. Elena and West have known each other their whole lives and after years apart, rekindle a friendship that meant more to them than anything. Their relationship is anything but typical and it made me love this book. There are wonderful lessons and learning experiences for Elena in this story that many people could benefit from reading. I am a firm believer that the best relationships start out as friendships and this book really confirmed that for me. This truly was a lovely story and I really enjoyed reading about Elena and West and their expansive friendship. “The Memory of Us” by Lisa Sorbe earns a wholehearted five stars from me! Heart of a Hunk is a collection of holiday romances filled with swoon-worth men. There is literally something for everyone in these books. Although, I enjoyed all of the stories there were a couple that really stood out to me, Foxxy Christmas by Allyson R. Abbott had my hooked almost immediately, the characters draw you in and keep you wanting more, you will really enjoy the twists and turns this book takes you in. The second book, A Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon by Tamara Ferguson hit me right in the feels, I love cheesy Christmas movies and this was exactly what it reminded me.of, from the story line to the characters, definitely gives you all the feels!. I really enjoyed this collection and would highly recommend reading it. I give this collection 4 stars.

Liberty ‘Libby’ Lawrence adores designer labels – even though she can’t afford many. And she especially loves shoes. Her favourites are Christian Louboutins – though not those fake ones Bianca Morrison-Wright gets from the market (the red paint rubs off the soles and everything!)
She’s working as a manager (albeit junior manager) at a London hotel, when the boss announces that there has been a theft from his office. Libby couldn’t help noticing some strange marks on his carpet when she was called in for a reprimand recently (not that it was her fault, or anything) which lead her to surmise who the thief is.
Detective Sergeant James Harper, the hunky policemen who is assigned the case, seems interested in her theory – until she names her number one suspect. Libby is devastated, not only because he doesn’t believe her but – more importantly – that this guy knows NOTHING about shoes!
As Libby struggles to convince the sergeant that her hunch is right, her boss that she’s ready for promotion and herself that she’s not really falling for the gorgeous copper, she realises that maybe she’s wrong about the theft, she’s not suited to the hotel industry and that the handsome hunk is married!
Author of Chick Lit, lover of chocolate (and doesn’t think it’s pure coincidence that the two sound similar!) Has a penchant for shoes, bags, clothes (the usual necessities), and socialising with friends, family and anyone else who gets dragged along.
Hopes you enjoy her books, get her humour, don’t object to her use of British spellings and keep in touch!

Surviving the Storm is book two in the Surviving Series by Virginia Wine. I just adored this story as it spoke to me in a totally beguiling voice. I was captivated, stunned and intrigued all at once, and it just got better from there.
Getting to know Alex and Madison was a plethora of various emotions and there are so many words to describe the essence and depths of this story. Arousal, bewilderment, chaos, danger, ecstasy, friction, gentleness, happiness, intensity, jealousy, karma, laughter, mystery, nervousness, opulence, passion, quirkiness, respect, serenity, trauma, ugliness, value, worthiness, yearning and zest for life. A whole alphabet of emotions and events. More than enough to keep a reader insatiably satisfied for hours. A story that is unpredictable and adventurous. 5 stars.

The Torzial Affair Book 1: Shattered by Via Mari. If you read the Prestian Series about Chase and Katarina then you will remember Jenny, Kat’s best friend and boss at Torzial. You read about some bad stuff happening to Jenny. Shattered is Jenny’s story, it tells you about the bad stuff that happened between Jenny and Ty, and there is a warning in the beginning of the book. However it’s a great story and I loved reading about how strong, independent and willing Jenny is. Brian is a great character also, you don’t read too much about him in the Prestian Series but he is there. He is also more present along with a few more characters making repeat appearances. I am eager to start book two, Bound.

Heart of a Hunk: A Limited-Edition Collection of Bad Boy, Billionaire and Hunky Romance Heroes Various Authors 4 out of 5 stars
For a while I would shy away from anthologies, there was something about a collection of shorter stories that didn’t sit right with me. Completely ridiculous thought process now that I stop to think about how anthologies have a little bit for everyone and it’s so easy to pick up and put down as you see fit.
Heart of Hunk is a great collection of stories that really vary enough to appeal to everyone. I was drawn to this particular collection because of Tamara Ferguson’s writing, it’s been something I’ve really enjoyed in the past.
Tamara Ferguson has a gift for crafting stories with characters that make you feel “at home”. They’re heartwarming and relatable with a Hallmark channel type feel to them. A Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon is a second chance romance that met every expectation I’ve come to have with Tamara Ferguson’s writing!
Foxxy Christmas by Allyson R. Abbott was my first read by this author but I will definitely be looking into more of her writing. The chemistry between the characters was fantastic and the storyline was fast paced but never rushed. I thoroughly enjoyed this story!
Heart of a Hunk was the perfect anthology to help me hold on to the Christmas season just a little bit longer! Definitely would recommend.

This story was amazing! This is the first story that i have read by this author and i honestly think i am going to become a little obsessed with her stories (they’re that good!!). I devoured this book and read it in one setting. I couldn’t put it down. The main character is called Evie and i just cant help but feel for her and her tragic start in the world. She is strong and beautiful and she had such a giving soul. I loved her. She meets Dylan through her work when she takes him on as a client. She has a special knack for helping men heal and that is exactly what Dylan is needing.. Will she end up helping him heal or will she end up destroying him in the process? I highly recommend reading this book! Go get it now! Happy Reading. Review by Anastasia D.

McKinley has another smash with this latest installment in the Gray Ghost series. This romantic suspense kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. Although part of a series, it does successfully stand on its own. Absolutely loved the characters. McKinley is quickly becoming a must read author. I cannot wait to see what is next.

Another great read by this author! It had me turning pages from beginning to end. I thought I knew the answers and had it all figured out, then another twist happens. I love the way this author weaves a story and keeps you guessing and on your toes. I cant wait to see what she may have next.
The Lies We Tell by Brittany Butler is about Natalie Conner. Natalie is a self-proclaimed liar and she is living a life where the lies are piling up on her. This was my first read by this author and the blurb drew me in. The story is interesting and brings up some current topics and thoughts. I overall enjoyed this read which I found intriguing. There are jumps back and forth in time to explain Natalie and her situation. These to me were good but choppy and at times confusing. I had to really pay attention to know where in Natalie’s life I was reading. If you like a book that is a fairly quick read with some interesting story this is a good read. I will be reading more from this author in the future.
PLAYER (21st Century Courtesan Book 1) by Pamela DuMond. This book had me in an unshakable grip from page one, although I’ll be honest I didn’t try shaking it too much. This story has so many amazing aspects that draw readers in and takes them on quite the journey. With amazing characters that you fall in love with. Evie is one of my favorite characters I’ve gotten to read about and her story is not one you want to miss. There’s some twists and turns that had me turning the pages as fast as I could so I could see what was going to happen. It’s well written and paced nicely, never feeling rushed or lacking anything. It’s a well balanced story with characters you connect with and root for. I can’t wait to read more from this author. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it.

The Memory of Us is a new adult romance by Lisa Sorbe. This is not the first story I have read by Ms. Sorbe, but it is my new favorite. This book had me on an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. Elena is such a strong female, who holds herself apart for fear of being hurt. When she returns to her home town after the death of her mother, she thinks it is for a short trip, but the memories make her think differently. Weston is the boy, best friend, she left behind when she left town twelve years ago and the first man she sees when coming back. This story flowed well and kept me rooting for Elena and Weston. If you are looking for a second chance romance this is just the story for you. I highly recommend this book and author. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Sorbe has in store for us next.

This was an excellent compilation of Romance novels. I loved how there were different variations from stories featuring paranormals, millionaires, cowboys, ranch hands, service members, and more. My favorite story of all was A Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon. It was fast paced and I fell in love with the characters I enjoyed many of the other stories in this set as well. This box set contains books that appeal to a wide audience and each one is fast paced and easy to read. I really enjoyed it!

Foxxy Christmas by Allyson R Abbott is just one story in this anthology that I loved! This story is about a woman named Foxxy. She could be your sister, aunt, or just someone you know. She’s down on her luck and has turned to the streets to pay her bills. She longs for a way out. Enters a tall dark stranger. When they make eye contact, the sparks ignite. These two characters plan quite the adventure of revenge. As always, Abbott has written a worthy story.
A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon by Tamara Ferguson is another story in this anthology that helped with the five-star rating. This story is about Mia and Noah and their young love. It’s about finding true love and growing with it. I loved this story as Ferguson can always create a warm and fuzzy feeling with her stories.

I enjoyed reading this story. I have read books by this author before and I really enjoyed her work and writing style so I had high hopes about this one. I’m glad that I wasn’t disappointed. This story was very entertaining and the characters were very passionate in their own way. Soumya is a very strong character and her emotions tend to get her into trouble at times. The banter between her and Vir was fun and frustrating all at the same time. This was a very quick read as I read it in one sitting. This author is very good at making you feel like your there with her attention to detail. I recommend this book.

This is a great collection of Christmas books. I read new authors and some authors I have read for years. This collection has all the different romance genres you need. I absolutely love small town romance and suspense romance. This bundle has them all. You will definitely have enough new authors to read in this anthology. This bundle will get you into the holiday spirit for sure. The two stories that stood out to me the most were A Kiss Under the Blue Moon by Tamera Ferguson and Foxxy Christmas by Allyson R. Abbott.
A Kiss Under the Blue Moon was a beautiful small town romance that made me laugh and cry. Mia and Noah fell for each other when they were just in high school. They were inseparable. Mia has a strict father that feels like no one is good for his daughter. When he meets Noah, the singer of the town band he can tell he is trouble. Noah is falling for Mia and he would do anything to make her happy. When Noah and Mia graduate that is when they have to separate. Noah leaves without a trace. Now Mia is back home and she is shocked when she finds out that Noah is back as well. Mia has a lot of questions that she wants answered. Will Noah and Mia be able to heal the past or was there too much hurt to heal?
Foxxy Christmas is a very hot and suspenseful romance. This story will keep you wanting more. Foxxy had a horrible childhood. She was put into foster care when she was just a young girl. Foxxy is working the streets which is very dangerous. She has always wanted a family to turn to. Foxxy goes to a party and she runs into a beautiful man. She feels a connection to him instantly. Foxxy doesn’t know but the hot stranger has his own secrets he is hiding. She is shocked when this stranger calls her on a job. Foxxy and Richard get to know each other and they are inseparable. The one thing that Foxxy needs to do before she can be free is revenge on her boss. He is a nasty man that deserves everything she brings to him. Will Foxxy get her revenge or will it be too dangerous to carry through. Will she finally find a place she can call her home or will she spend Christmas alone once again?
This bundle will keep you in good spirits. You will fall in love with every single character you read about in this holiday collection. I can’t wait to read some of these authors books that I have discovered in this anthology.
