Basil is an original quick read that is quirky and will make you laugh and smile at the goings on. Basil is full of sugar and spice that ups the chemistry factor.
It is an intriguing, supernatural tale with a dash of tension, some danger, a little action, adventure, and a few twisty turns that makes the pages turn and makes it a fun and easy to read.
This story takes place in the quirky small town of Silver Springs, a town full of wonderful supernatural beings and where the unusual and fun is to be found.
I loved the characters, in this unique world where anything goes. It is a reverse harem romance with a BBW where fate has deemed more than one mate. The story is witty, clever and was a delight to read.
This Rom Com is a well woven paranormal tale with fated mates, a terrible first date and a vegan vampire. Oh, and let’s not forget the little green caterpillar.
If you love something PNR a little quirky and a lot different then Ms Rose is your gal.
I will have to go back and read the other books in this series as I started at the wrong end by the looks of things.

Family Ties Family Lies is a heartfelt Women’s fiction story full of suspense and mystery. Jacqueline has written a complex tale of family drama but there is another storyline mixed up within.
With family secrets, lies, shock, anger, pain, conflict, drama, fears, hopelessness, sadness, wants, needs, love, hope and so much more this mystery suspense is full of surprises that will keep the pages turning whilst trying to uncover it all.
Rose’s career is on hold after a debilitating accident whilst on the job. When news of her mom’s health is received, she returns home to the charming small town she grew up in, to a place she hasn’t been to for a while. A small town full of its own quirks, nuances and crime.
Whilst home she stumbles across information long buried that turns her world upside down. Being the person, she is she, the reporter within needs to uncover it all despite warnings to leave well enough alone. But uncovering it all she must decide if it is a secret best left hidden and most of all can she forgive the one person who caused it all.

Detective Dylan and the Hunt for Home Plate is a short and sweet read, and full of adventure, for children, around the ages of 5 to 10. It is a book in the Youth Sleuths series and this story is lots of fun.

Hair raising adventure for young children. I like the folklore of this story and the adventures the children take. Beautiful illustrations only help add to the fantastical world Craig and Linda are in. I think this is a great series to help peak interest in other countries. Has a little bit of everything you would look for in an adventure book.

Hay Goes Home by G Pa Rhymes is the fourth book in The Adventures of Cray series. In this book, Cray goes with his friend Fox Hay to her mother’s birthday party. Along the way, they run into situations that test their bravery. This is a great story that shows how friends will be there for you if you just ask and how to be brave in scary situations. The different scenes make it easy for kids to understand how to be brave even when they are afraid. It also shows how to advocate for themselves by asking for help and how to help those who ask. All great lessons for kids to learn early. The illustrations are beautiful as usual.

Divinely Dramatic is the second book in the Divine Vintage Series and is a Paranormal/Ghostly Romance that will have you turning the pages till the end. This can be read as a standalone but I’d recommend reading the first book if you haven’t already started it. You get to know the characters better. We follow Marcy along as she gets involved as the costumer for the Community Theater . Strange things start happening and so the mystery begins. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

They don’t want the kids seeing or talking about any monsters. Well this time Nessie needs there help to rescue Princess Sheona. She got trapped in the maze by a bunch of boulders. Craig and Linda do what they know best. Help Nessie!<br />This book was really good and a super fun little adventure.

The Reluctant Spy is a really cute book that is a quick read and would be great for elementary readers (ages 7-12). The short chapters allow the book to move at a fast pace and the story immediately gets your attention relating to our unexpected character of Hildegarde. The tie in to science was interesting and possible aliens! I am so glad that I had a chance to read this and I look forward to passing it along to my sons for them to read. I mean, who doesn’t love a spy story with a really smart rat and the thought of aliens?!

This is the 3rd book in the DAG Team Series. This is the first one that I have read and I didn’t feel like I was lost so it can be read as a stand alone. It did make me want to go back and read the first 2 books. Mateo wanted out of his life of crime. Janey had finally got her life on track after escaping her abusive home life. Neither of them expected to see the other again. He had saved her before, could he do it again? Would the twist of fate that brought them together destroy them both? The dynamic between Mateo and Janey is sweet and spicy. I absolutely loved the characters in this story.

Detective Dylan and the Hunt for Home Plate is Book 2 int he Youth Sleuths series and this story is fun with engaging illustrations with a new mystery to solve. Wonderful chapter book for ages 5-9, this story can be enjoyed by the young and young at heart!

Where did home plate go? Dylan, Emily and Theodore are ready for their first softball practice of the season, but when Coach Farmer notices not only home plate missing but the other bases too, how can the team practice to get ready for the new season without their bases? Detective Dylan is on the case along with Emily and Theodore, they will investigate to where the bases are….with an adventure of meddling pirates and the up to no good Benny Brothers. Will Dylan, Emily and Theodore be able to solve the mystery of the missing bases…

I really enjoyed this adventure and mystery….such a fun read. I am looking forward to more adventures and mysteries to solve with Detective Dylan, Emily and Theodore the dog!

Divine Vintage by Sandra L. Young was a hauntingly beautiful romance with vintage clothing as the cause of a great read. I adore the detailed descriptions of the stunning period pieces of clothing that the author describes throughout this story. What a great concept to build a series around, vintage clothing and an inept sense of experiencing the woes of those who have passed. This was a great read from the very beginning of the story when we meet Tess and Marcy, who run a vintage clothing store that Tess has just recently opened. The characters are so entrancing and have such a wonderful connection with their spiritual side that they embrace so deeply. You feel as if you are right there experiencing the events as they are happening to Tess whenever she gets dragged into experiencing the lives of those who have worn the vintage clothing. It is such a great new concept that is not only intriguing as you follow along with the mystery of the ghost’s past but also so captivating as you watch Tess and Trey navigate their magnetic pull to one another. This is a great new series that includes a haunting tale of mystery with a great budding romance.

Divinely Dramatic is the second book by Sandra L. Young in the Divine Vintage Series. This book was the perfect continuation of the amazing vintage mystery story with a ghostly tale of romance. I love how this series incorporates vintage clothing that is so true to the era each represents; the author definitely did her homework on each of the pieces that she uses throughout her story. Following along with Marcy’s experience was so much fun, and getting to see her passion for art is such a great thing to behold. Amazing characters, ghosts, an ailing mother, gorgeous clothing, and an unexpected romance all make this a great read that you won’t want to put down. Excellent fun read, I hope to see more books in this series, they really incorporate a sense of mystery, with the intrigue of ghosts. I could not put this book down once I picked it up, it is truly that mesmerizing.

Fearless Love: A Small Town Second Chance Single Mom Romance is the fifth book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls series. This can be read and enjoyed as a standalone book. I recommend reading the entire series because the Bennett family is worth getting to know. James is always there for everyone, but his heart has taken a hit with the ending of a relationship. Sara and her son are new to town and living out of their suitcase at a local travel lodge. Does what starts off as a friendly gesture by James become something more for both of them?
I always enjoy books by this author. The characters are grounded and real. This series has thrown some hard times at the Bennetts, but the family supports one another through thick and thin. It is great to get to know James in this book. I also liked Sara and what she brings to the story. She is doing all she can to give her son a good life. I’m sad this is the end of this series, but I know that means another great series is around the corner from the author. I look forward to reading what she puts out next.

I love reverse harem/rh stories and this one was such a cute one. If you’re looking for a Paranormal, quirky, funny,a tiny bit if tension and all around fluffy reverse harem, this one is perfect. Such a good palette from the heavy books I’ve been reading. I enjoyed Basil’s story. She was funny and I liked her alot. Life throws her a few curve balls and we go through it with her as she works them out. I liked her approach and her personality alot.
I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!

Basil is part of the Silver Springs Pets Series and is a RH with a bit of a twist. I wasn’t real sure what to expect going in. This is a new author to me and I will definitely be looking into what other books they have written. I’m going to be honest this book fell a bit short for me I had a hard time connecting with the main character and storyline seemed a bit rushed and floppy. I’m going say if you like RH vampire stories with sizzle then this is for you. Im definitely going to try reading this book again at a different time and see if maybe that will make a difference. I look forward to giving this another shot and seeing what other books they have written.

Out of Bounds is the second book in the Game Time Series and is a Contemporary Romance/ Opposites Attract Romance that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I’ve read several books by this author and this one may be my favorite yet. Her characters are fully developed, relatable and bring the story to life. This is Piper and Wyatt’s story. Piper has a guarded heart and has sworn off dating especially football players. One night at the bar might change everything. Her ex won’t leave her be , Wyatt steals the seat next to her and the chemistry between them is electric. He wants one thing and that’s Piper. Can he convince her he’s different from the other’s?Can one night be enough? Can these two have the relationship they both deserve? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m already looking forward to reading more from this Author.

This is a story of Norse Mythology and the history of Finn and his family. When a curse is put upon Finn when following his brothers he is now having to deal with becoming brave. The narrator was difficult for me to understand at first until I got used to the accent. An interesting story overall.

Thorfinn’s family was cursed by a witch down three generations. Two generations have succumbed to the curse before Thorfinn’s story began. A young boy of 10 Thorfinn must overcome people plotting to unalive him. His own clansman fear him and he is now an enemy. He must also accept his new fate of being a boy by day and ghost by night. This was a fascinating book. I enjoy history but have never really gotten into Norse culture aside from the Hollywood version. I’m sure the author did a lot of research to describe things so wonderfully. It was like a movie playing in my head as I was able to visualize everything. I can’t wait to see what the next adventure holds in this series.

Critical Care is the sixth book in the Chase Care Series by R.L Dunn. As mentioned before, this medical thriller series is a spin-off from one of Ms. Dunn’s other great series- ‘Chase Security’- but the books can definitely be read as standalones, if you wanted. But, having said that, you might just find that one book won’t be enough to satisfy your new cravings.
This is a medical thriller/romantic suspense- with action, darker elements, second chances, dramatic developments, tension, danger, mystery, thrills, love, sacrifice, thrills, agendas, secrets, angst, intrigue, chemistry, sizzle, intensity, and much more.
Tim and Willow are going to be put through the ringer here that’s for sure. Bringing plenty of heart pounding moments as well as tugging on the heart strings, and even a few cheesy moments that made me smile. I don’t want to give too much away and spoil it for you- but Tim’s personal battle thrusts him into a situation he never saw coming and intertwines his path with Willow’s/. What happens makes for an engrossing multi-layered story that had me completely invested the whole way through.
I’m not sure whether there are more books in this series still to come, but no matter what, I am happy to read whatever Ms. Dunn produces next.

Family Ties Family Lies is so well written and is one of those books that will stay with long after your finished reading it. Part mystery and part family dynamics, a lot of emotions in this book. Love, loss and the absolute importance of forgiveness. Characters very well written and likeable. Definitely a book that will grab you in and you will want to just finish it curled up on the couch all cozy, but you may want a box of tissues.

Cray was so excited to be going to a birthday party!! It is Fox Hay’s mamma’s birthday high up in the mountains. It would be a long trip, but also an adventure! They saw animals of all kinds, plants high and low, and they even needed help along the way. It can be scary facing new things, but you can still be brave. Asking for help when needed can make adventures less stressful. This book was so cute!! If helps younger kids build courage through out different obstacles they may come across in life. Being scared and facing those fears. I think that this book is wonderful for kids, BUT it is also great for adults to read too. The tips in the back are so helpful and I encourage adults to read this one!!

This book hit me on a few levels. It was so adorable first of all! Talk about second chances after kids! And not only second chances but honestly true first loves. This story is about Bailey and Fox. Their story is electric! Fox has become a CEO of a company that Bailey has worked for, for quite some time. She has worked her way up the ladder so to speak. Finally becoming VP in her department! After her husband passing away, it has taken a lot of time to get passed some things. But by chance her and CEO Fox, end up on a plane ride together and hit it off. It’s like they are old friends. Talking about everything. Anything! Finding common ground in so many ways! Both single parents. Trying to navigate the corporate world, but also be mom AND dad at the same time. Kids are a job in themselves. They need to eat right. Get outside and off their devices! Spend time with what family they have. And most impotently be supported by their parent! Right? Fox isn’t your typical CEO. He was brought in to fix issues and he sole focus it his kids and doing just that. Turning the company around will take a lot of focus. Does he have time for anything else? I found the characters so relatable. The author hooks you in with both of their stories that will put you into some emotions!! You can’t help by feel for all of them! The kids and the trauma the adults have fought through! Defiantly a cute romantic must read!

This is the 3rd book I’ve read in this series and it’s my favorite so far! The Mating Chance has a lot going on, but it’s easy to follow. It’s just a matter of the decisions the characters make. The author does a wonderful job presenting the story, the character growth, and making you fall in love with at least one of the two main characters. For me it was Boone. Who could it be for you?
Boone has been hit by the call. Never expecting it to be cut and dry, just sweeping his mate off her feet, he didn’t expect what would be walking into. Cricket has been through the mating call before, knows the feel and the process. She had her mate and unfortunately lost him, but not before they had a son. Now all the sudden she’s getting a second chance call. One nobody has ever heard of happening before. So many questions and not many answers. The two biggest being: should she accept it? And will he accept them?
Of course you can’t get through these books without human drama and interference into shifter life. And it’s definitely here. Employees are being poached away hoping to force their hand to sell. Yet Cricket and her family stand their ground no matter what Mr. Grace says and does.
Will they come out on top?
I enjoy these books as well as this author and I look forward to more in the future.

I have enjoyed the books that I have read so far in this series. I normally try to read a series in order, but somehow I have read every other one. Either way, this was another fantastic book by this author. The twists and turns will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. Tim and Willow discover that someone has been tampering with chemotherapy medication. They put their lives at risk to stop whoever is sabotaging something that could harm millions of people. Will they be able to stop the bad guys? This can be read as a standalone but I can guarantee that you will be going back to read the other stories in this series. Hats off to the author for not only another great book but another great series.

Must read prequel and book one first. This book picks up six months after the events of book one, The Rise of House Valdis. The author does it once again. Multiple perspectives give you every detail and angle of the story as the twists reveal themselves and Mistress Xenobia and her House fight to keep their territory.
Xenobia never wanted to be a leader, while large parts of her memories are missing the goal remains, to protect women and to keep those she has adopted as family safe. Matthew, Onyx, and Chi at her side an unexpected White Queen is behind it all. A memory unlocks itself and Xen is at a loss on what other important memories she is missing, and why are they missing. Merging two houses isn’t easy and Xen is drowning in the chaos that the White Queen is weaving. Deeper still are the connections between Xenobia, Matthew, and Onyx, they are all emotionally broken people trying to claw their way out of trauma. Fighting for any chance of a happy life.
Who is the White Queen? What will happen when Xen finds out? Can House Valdis survive and come out on top again? Naomi Valkyrie you amazing woman, my heart the entire book just kept racing harder and faster with each chapter. The author doesn’t do anything partially, she gives you the good, the bad, and the ugly side of this world and the struggle of living within it. These characters aren’t puppets they take you on a rollercoaster that left me gasping for air. Torn between needing more, what will happen next when or if she is sanctioned to let the nightmare side out. The darkness within her has been there too long and to be in complete control of herself she can’t keep it inside anymore. Will there be more? Will Xenobia return?
