I really enjoyed this story. I loved how Anne’s relationship with God was so important that she wanted that in her partner as well. Andy and Anne are a very sweet couple and I am glad to see they found each other after both suffering a break up with their partners. Johnny, I wasn’t really a fan of him, especially after leaving the amish and basically wanting Anne and the English world. The world of the Amish is very intriguing to me and seems very peaceful and uncomplicated. Sounded off The only thing I didn’t like so much about this book was the Pennsylvania Dutch wording that was thrown in throughout. Maybe because it is not something I read or hear everyday, but in the book just frustrated me, especially because I couldn’t memorize all of the translations from the front.
Luna is a young husky with brothers and sisters galore, but she doesn’t play with them much because she can’t howl, and she doesn’t fit in. This makes Luna feel lonely because she can’t sing with the winds or at the moon, no matter how hard she tries.
One day Luna makes a friend who is as shy and quiet as she is, so they play together and become the best of friends, but Luna still can’t howl and unlike her siblings, she hasn’t been adopted, but will she ever be able to howl and find her forever home?
This is charming story with lovely illustrations, and which has a very important lesson we all should learn and that is to treat everyone with kindness, even if they are different because everyone is deserving of happiness.

Luna the Howling Huskey Finds Her Howl is a cute children’s book that my five-year-old and I loved reading. The colorful illustrations help to bring the story to life. This is about Luna she’s a husky but she can’t howl like the rest of her siblings can. Luna is saddened by the fact the other siblings get adopted and she doesn’t. So follow along with Luna and her special friend Nemo. There are several messages in this cute story. Being kind is important Being different is ok because that’s what makes us special. Just because one is different doesn’t mean they will be loved any differently. I highly recommend reading this book. My son and I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I love Christmas stories! This book was such a cool take on it! Original Christmas stories with a fantasy/sci-fi twist. Such a fun read, like nothing you’ve ever read before. Read this book if you like romance, action, sci-fi, and so many plot twists! All separate stories, all new characters, and all fun experiences!
This is the 4th book in The Echo Series. Each book can be read as a standalone as they focus on different couples however I have a feeling once you read one you will want to read them all. What I love about this story is that it is the female lead who is the bodyguard/protector which is a nice twist as normally its the male. These books are full of danger, chemistry and great characters.
Curtis is a famous rockstar. He has everything he could wish for in life but he feels something is missing. When he witnesses a crime he is forced to go into hiding with a bodyguard for protection. That body guard is Lina. They met years before when Lina was his bodyguard and Curtis left a lasting impression. This was my first book by this author and not my usual cup of tea, but it was interesting and sprinkled with a few twists and kept the action moving to keep my interest.
Mimi isn’t where she thought she would or wants to be. Mimi had a short lived career as a journalist and when that ended she wound up working for her father in his diamond store. She is in a long-term relationship with Michael, but she is not sure where that is headed because after a year together, she has yet to meet his daughter or his mother.
When Mimi reaches out to an old friend about a writing job, the friend, Rosalyn, asks about meeting with Mimi’s dad to sell a diamond. The diamond is a rare black diamond that is supposedly cursed. When the diamond causes problems for a different friend of Mimi’s, she feels the need to investigate the history of the diamond to prove that it is not cursed. Through this process, Mimi also finds out what happened to Rosalyn.
Mimi puts her life, her father’s business, her relationship with Michael and her freedom at risk to solve this mystery. With all the twists and suspects along the way, a solution is found!!
The book was a good way to spend a rainy afternoon.

There are 11 festive holiday stories in this anthology and never a dull moment. This is an excellent way to bring in the festive holiday spirit. Each story is a paranormal adventure with witches, aliens, shifters, and much more. It was easy to settle into this book with a glass of wine for some danger, mayhem, magical realms, and laughter. I was pulled into these stories and read the book straight through!
Sports romances are one of my guilty pleasures. So I jumped at the opportunity to read Finding the Endzone. And it did not disappoint. Being that I’ve read this author before helped as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the story the author presented. The question is “How far would one go to get what they want?” Callahan is the big man on campus. Starting tight end on his college team. All the girls want him. He always gets what he wants. And surprise surprise he’s not a dumb jock. Striving for his education Callahan proves a few people wrong along the way, including Jamaica. She wrote him off and he called her out on it. She was also the one girl he wanted he couldn’t have, not for lack of trying. Helped by their English Lit professor who paired them together for the semester. But no quest is ever easy especially when there’s jealous girls watching in the wings. Jamaica noticed him, but she didn’t want to. She needed to focus and a man was a distraction. Coming from nothing she needed to keep her grades up to keep her scholarship. How her English Lit professor really didn’t seem to like her. Pairing her up with a jock that she’s going to have to carry. However he surprises her. He’s more intelligent and insightful than she ever gave him credit for. Problem is he wants her and she knows it’s a bad idea especially with the sorority girls following him around. Does Callahan break Jamaica’s resolve? Will they make it when he does? No romance goes off without some hitch. In this case it’s family background holding one back. And a jealous streak that keeps interfering where it shouldn’t be. The author sucks you in. You will love and be rooting for the two main characters. And getting frustrated with the potential distraction, but it’ll keep you turning the page. You won’t want to put it down!

I normally don’t read a lot of thrillers, but this one had me on the edge of my seat! It was so well written! I loved the forced proximity between the two lead characters, and the way that the MMC became so protective over the FMC. I’ve never read a book by this author before, and I am pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend!
Breathtaking introductory novel. This is only her first book and I feel she will have a wonderful career ahead. The talent Cambria Williams brings into the imagination was inspiring, and original. Dual perspectives Sloane and Tolvar. Sloane is like every kid growing up that helps their father, looking forward to the day they are “old” enough to do it on their own. We meet Sloane on that day, she is to walk to the next village, Asana, to the market to sell her father’s leatherwork and return home for the Prodigal Moon Celebration. Enjoying a night in the next town filling her belly before the fasting for the moon goddess, she waits to return the next morning. Sloane is not just any girl but one with physical limitations, a nine-mile walk requires a great deal more time than the average person. She’s never dissuaded and happily allows herself time for safe travels only when she reaches her village, Mohn, it is only remnants of people she knew. The Befallen had attacked in the night while she was away sucking the life out of everyone in the village. The next day she settles to return to the neighboring village to start a life for herself only to be robbed on the way and then find Asana had been devoid of life as well while she was gone. Tolvar is from Capella Realm and only on the island of Deogol in search of the “mythical” savoir from the Befallen, The Unsung. Only his scars run deep, and he is happier at the bottom of a barrel of ale than keeping faith in his “redemption”. Many in the land have forgotten the words of Edan Lore, Sloane, being from a very devoted village has not wavered in her faith but struggles with being seen only for her physical appearance and truly being seen. She has something powerful within her, waiting to be seen. What will happen when Sloane and Tolvar come face to face? Will her faith be enough to save her island from darkness and ruin? Everything about this world the author creates pulls you deeper into its realm. The language, the descriptions, the emotions. The characters are everyday people, at least to a point, Tolvar is a knight, but I digress. Sloane is a common girl from a tiny mostly unknown village, with a disability, and the faith to keep her fighting with all that she has even after she has lost everything she ever known. Tolvar has suffered the loss of everything he once held as important and now struggles with his own guilt and hunger for redemption that he no longer holds faith in until he finds Sloane. I truly cannot wait to see what this incredible new author has in store next.

Well this series just keeps getting better and better. Makayla just keeps getting deeper and deeper into the mystery of what is going on at Grave Digger Academy and within the magical world. She is finding out the hard way who her real friends are and who she can trust. She is learning more about her family history and how it all plays a part in her current situation. The book is definitely a page turner and the author is doing as great job of keeping of keeping the audience engaged and wanting to find out what happens next! I can’t wait for book 5 to come out!

I was very excited to continue the Grave Digger Academy series by C. A. King! The third installment did not disappoint. Many of the same characters return, but things are very different at the Academy with many students and faculty leaving. This book started out a little slower but I believe all of the information learned will be beneficial in the long run. We are introduced to more helpers and find out Makayla may be much more than she seems. The Crones have Makayla and the Academy in their sites and seem determined to bring both down. But, with many of her old friends missing this year, Makayla finds her own strengths and magic within her isolation. The same great world building is used and I’ve become so invested in the characters. I cannot wait for the fourth book!

Instead of raining cats and dogs. This quirky version is raining frogs and fish LOL I liked it, it was funny. And a fun way to get your fish🤣 I really like the drawing style, it reminds me very much of the Sunday comics in the newspapers🥰 And as always I enjoy reading books by Lois Wickstrom. Especially because she always adds cool things at the end of her books. Like waterspouts I heard of them. I didn’t know that they can sometimes suck a lake dry, interesting. Seshka’s Gift by Eliza Sinclair This was a fun fantasy adventure that is a prequel to a book, which I will have to read soon!
Christmas Trappings by Kendra Hatch I never thought I would love a Christmas Story that included Aliens, but here I am loved this so much.

Such a fun group of stories I never imagined myself reading but so glad that I did.
This is the seventh book in this series and each book gets better and better. This book can be read as a standalone but it is my advice to read all of them because they are all great reads that you don’t want to miss out on. This book is full of action, drama, mystery, suspense, murder, great characters, twists and turns. There were times while reading when I thought I knew what was going to happen next and then I was thrown for a loop. I found myself immersed in some nail biting moments. Jake and Cody seem to attract trouble like a magnet, luckily for Jake he can always count on his loyal smart k-9 Cody. There were many layers to this story but I didn’t have any trouble keeping up with the story line. The author knows how to keep me turning pages with an intriguing and entertaining book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading what this author has in store for us next.

Another cute title by this author which starts with a man who wants trout for breakfast so he heads off to the lake but nothing is biting! Then the wind picks up and a waterspout forms and picks up all the water and fish and frogs and heads for town. While in town it starts dropping the fish and frogs and water…including a fish right on the doorstep of the fisherman. Cute story telling what happens with a waterspout in language a kid can understand and very cute illustrations. My kid was 5 I read it to.

A big collection of holiday stories with a mix of genre and holiday themes. The variety of themes and genres go from sci-fi, fantasy, magic, mayhem, holiday giving and generosity. I did enjoy reading the vast difference of stories in the holiday spirit with a twist. A great gift to give those sci-fi, fantasy and mystery genre readers! One of my favorites is the one where the Winter Queen in where Kris Kringle is in search of his Ms. Kringle, it brings warmth to the holiday romance tale. Stories are each unique to its theme and how its author draws their reader.
Ghost Takes a Vacation is a delightful, cozy mystery!
This is the second book in the series, and this one follows Genie and her dearly departed great-great Aunt Adriana as they travel to Italy for an important task at hand, obtaining some of Adriana’s possessions that are set to be auctioned off. They need these items to keep her tethered here on earth with Genie. One item of importance is a Chanel evening gown. Just when it appears there actually may be a chance for them to get it, the auction house goes up in flames! It soon becomes apparent that it was no accident and an innocent man is a victim in the fire. The two now find themselves embroiled in a new murder mystery.
I found the book a lot of fun to read. I loved the twists and turns, and the pacing of the story was perfect. I love Adriana!!! Seriously…this ghost can communicate with dogs and cats, and they are witnesses to the fire! How cool is that??? The relationship between Adriana and Genie is so sweet. The brewing romance with Matt just made the story even better!!!
I have to be honest and tell you that I have not read the first book in the series! I didn’t feel like it caused me any real confusion. However, I will be going back and reading that first book! If you love Italy and a cozy read, you can’t miss with this book!!!!

This book is quirky. It has an interesting hook: it’s told from the point of view of an atheist who is experiencing life following her own death. The characters are delightfully wonky. They go on adventures, and have philosophical discussions. I think they could solve many of the world’s problems- if only they were alive to do so!

My son and I are big fans of the author, and enjoyed Raining Fish and Frogs. The illustrations were bright and colorful and some silly. A wind sucked up everything in the lake- water and animals included. It got so strong that it kept sucking things up and spitting them back out all across town. We assumed it was from the author’s imagination, and were shocked to read that its partly true. Upon finishing, we headed over to google and read some articles of this happening in real life. It is a fun story for elementary age kiddos. It could be tied into a science lesson on weather.

Tanjie is just an ordinary girl, who’s gone through far to much in her short life so far, after losing her parents when she was younger in a car crash she manages to pull herself and life together and start to make something of herself. That is until one day a friend of hers Marie suddenly passes away, leaving instructions for her to take over ownership of a bookstore of Marie’s under a condition that she can only sell the business after she has worked in the shop for one year. Suddenly Tanjie is thrust into a world she thought only existed in books. She’s a witch, and it’s time for her to come into her powers and help her family’s coven keep control and balance in this crazy world. But all Tanjie wants is to live a normal life, one of her own design, that and maybe a quick piece of tall dark and handsome Alaric. Alaric is a wolf shifter with a superiority complex, he wants to be his own free man outside of the pack able to choose his own path, but his father, the alpha has other plans for Alaric and his future, that don’t include freedom, or cute little witches.
I love that Tanji and Al are immediately attracted to one another, as much as I love a good, one falls first type of story, I can’t help but crave the angst and steamy banter between to characters equally attracted to each other. Their banter is fun and engaging, it leaves you wanting more from them with every page you turn, and the spice between them had me fanning myself at points.
I’m interested to see where the author takes this series from here, this book is kinda left on a cliff hanger, with things being up in the air, I hate slash love the not knowing what’s going to happen to our main characters, especially when I’ve fallen so thoroughly in love with them both. The unpredictable aspect of this book paired with the chemistry of our main characters and the world building make for a tantalizing book to consume, and you will, consume it that is. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. I Can’t wait to see what becomes of my girl Tanjie’s in the next book!

Fun, fast paced cozy mystery that was very enjoyable. Slay it with a Diamond is Book 3 in the Diamond District Mysteries and this is the first book I picked up from this author and series and I will be definitely will have to circle back and read the other books. I love to curl up to a good cozy mystery with murder, mafia, secrets, lies and a diamond.
Mimi Rosen works for her father’s business in the diamond industry, even though she would love to find some work as a freelance journalist, her passion. When a chance encounter of a precious diamond comes in, at first Max Rosen, Mimi’s dad is a bit hesitant. With this diamond, it opens up secrets and murder….will Mimi sleuth out the truth…
Definitely read and find out!! Very good story and very enjoyable.

This is the sixth Logan McKenna Book and I really love this series. Logan is a fantastic main character who is so well developed and who continues to grow and evolve as the series continues. Once again, Logan has found herself in the middle of an investigation. But all this is in addition to fixing up her new house and meeting a half sister. Valerie Davisson does not disappoint in this book and it contains all the things I have grown to love in her books. From the fantastic characters, to a fast paced plot this book really does have it all. In addition, it features the descriptive writing I love. She does a fantastic job of making you feel as if you are right there with Logan and her descriptions make you really able to visualize where she is. I definitely recommend this book and the whole series!

The Earl, her reluctant Guardian By: Wareeze Woodson
This is a fantastic multifaceted story. It contains elements of a mystery and a crime. It also has chemistry between characters. This story is told from a dual point of view and I feel that this was done wonderfully. It added depth to the plot without making it feel disjointed. Vanessa is such a wonderful character who I found myself relating to, even though this is a historical fiction novel. She struggles with confidence and regaining control in her own life. Lord Danville is one who has really made her feel less than. Yet, she also feels something else for him. Lord Danville won’t deny his feelings for her, but will he act on them. This is historical fiction written at its best! The characters are amazing and well written! The plot moves at a good pace. I definitely recommend picking up this book!
