There is so much to love about this book by this truly wonderful author. The characters are intriguing, mysterious but at the same time fun and the storyline told from two different points of view is really interesting. If I had to pick out something to complain about the only thing I could say is it’s too short because greedy me wanted more!!! LOL I really hope we get to read more about the Men of Eden Cove Manor in the future.

This is the 3rd book in The Winemakers Series. Even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone, however I feel once you read one you will want to read them all. This is a historical romance, enemies to lovers story. I love the chemistry between our main characters as they seem to play a cat and mouse game with each other. I also love the fire in Isabel, she is a princess but a princess who isn’t afraid to speak her mind which is refreshing for the time period the story is set in. This story has so many beautiful elements from the characters themselves to the authors amazing writing which transports the reader back in time and describes the places so vividly it feels like you are there. If you like historical romances full of twists and turns, a little danger, a sense of doing your duty and what is expected of you along with secrets and hidden agendas to uncover this book has something for everyone.

Is Lynn going crazy with paranoia or are things going on around her since winning the lottery? This book got me reading and I couldn’t stop! This story gets quite graphic and has some intense moments. A twist that many won’t see coming (I did however). I did not like that it ended in total suspense and we won’t read the remainder until next year. But I’m thankful that I took a chance on it. I typically am nervous to read psychological thrillers 😊

She isn’t the typical girl he goes for, but something about her has him intrigued. This was a bit of a fast paced book but it keeps you engaged from beginning to end. As they say opposites attract and these two characters couldn’t be any more different if they tried. I liked the writing style of the author and how the story flowed. The development and growth of the characters was great. If you’re a fan of sports you’ve made a great choice. This trilogy combined into one book makes for a long read (110 chapters) but worth the read of you like romance novels. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I read the description of this book. When engaged with the text, I got the vibe of 50 shades, but… WOW… at such a remarkably HIGHER level of writing. Where the Ocean Meets the Sky is executed at a literary fiction level with deeply fleshed out characters that make the reader turn the page. While I’m not a big fan of steamy sex scenes and the romance genre, the way Hadley incorporates it into the text didn’t make my stomach turn. I wanted to know more about this plot and what makes the characters tic. I would say Hadley did an excellent job entangling the premise of literary fiction and the romance genre. I definitely am intrigued to read the next book in this series! The play lists at the end is the book has some of my favorite songs, which is a bonus. I could see this book becoming a movie or series.

I think you will find this an interesting read and the perfect companion to the next book.

Tis the season to read a great Christmas story. Actually, I enjoy them year round! This one gave off a bit of a Hallmark vibe, so anyone into those types of shows will enjoy this story. The book is always better than the show anyway!
America (love the name) finds a Christmas town that is severely lacking Christmas. She pairs up with the very attractive mayor, Leo, to bring Christmas spirit to this small town. The town might not be the only thing getting some added cheer and brightness though!

I don’t typically pick up books in this genre, but something about this one pulled me in. I’m so glad I listened to that little voice because even though this is the only second book I’ve read by this author, something tells me it is far from the last. I enjoyed Mark Sutherland’s cross-country adventure and how the author so vividly portrays the locations he ventures into. I felt pulled into the story to the point where it felt more like an experience which I absolutely loved. Mark is a relatable character that you feel like rooting for the whole way through his journey and the flow of the story itself is quite smooth. Get ready for a fast-paced historical adventure where you’ll read about a bit of danger, a few friends, and the ever-famous gold rush! I highly recommend picking this up and getting wrapped up in the twists and turns that is Mr. Sutherland’s life.

I have enjoyed reading the Logan McKenna Series which I have been reading in order starting from the first book. Along the way I’ve come to really like Logan and all of her friends. In this book, we not only find Logan helping to solve a crime but we learn about raptor center where Logan is volunteering. The author does a great job of world and character building throughout the book.
WOAH!!!! I truly have never read something like this! I couldn’t put this down! I thought the story was original. There was a lot going on throughout the story but in the best way possible, I would’t have it any other way. I am pretty sure got whiplash a few times.

Set around Halloween adds to the spooky, mysterious, creepy vibe of the story which centers around the characters of Lucifer and Mordecai. These two characters had their own unique quirks and personalities, and I was completely drawn into their worlds as they told their story from their own POV. Lucifer is impulsive, bold, reckless, and determined to live life on his own terms. When he hears about a mystery surrounding the men of a local manor he is determined to investigate and find out what all the fuss is about. According to locals, the manor is creepy, and they are terrified to go anywhere near it. Lucifer sees this as a challenge and while the men of the manor are away at a party he decides to break into the manor and explore. As he does so he gets more than he bargained for when he makes a startling discovery. Not only that, but Lucifer does not go unnoticed by Mordecai, one of the men at the manor. Mordecai is dangerous, cunning, and determined to toy with Lucifer as punishment for violating his privacy and trespassing in his home. I really looked forward to my next book by this author as I have really come to appreciate her writing style. This book was everything I hoped it would be. It was fun, entertaining but had a great story line with a well-developed main character. I was pulled into the story right from the start and could not put it down until I had finished. I loved the premise of the book. It had such a fun feeling to it right from the word go and for me that made it all the more easier to connect with. The author knew exactly how to grab my attention and keep it! This book is everything I have come to expect from this author and it only makes me want to read more of her work. The description for this book intrigued me from the moment I read it and I knew I had to give this book a go. This was a new author to me so I really didn’t know what to expect when I started reading. The book was well written and had a great concept at its core. The description made it sound like the characters only met when they were older so I liked that I learnt this wasn’t the case. I found myself really engaging with the characters. I loved watching their journey unfold as the book progressed. The author tells their story so well and I found the whole experience to be enjoyable. This was a great introduction to a new author and I am looking forward to discovering more.

Another great book by Naomi Valkyrie! A short, quick read that I was able to finish in one evening. It didn’t feel rushed. I liked the two povs. You could really get to know both Lucifer and Mordecai better. Full of mystery, m/m romance, humor and supernatural, I was definitely impressed. I recommend this fast read.

Christmas Cove by Sarah Dressler is a fun contemporary feel-good holiday romance tale. Sarah is a new author to me and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a wonderful small-town romance with lots of feels, drama, humour, and mystery and a little spice. It was easy to lose myself in this story, that I was engrossed in from beginning to end. The cast of many eclectic and quirky characters had me laughing, cringing and loving them all. Sarah has done a great job writing them and bringing them to life. What better way to kick off the season than to visit the small-town Christmas Cove. With a name like that you would think it would be overflowing with evergreens, lights and smells of Christmas. Right? America will do anything for the small town she has grown so fond of and right now she needs to be tenacious, stronger and clever to save it all. What was once just a story has become so much more. This is a fun, entertaining and festive read that will appeal to many. I am looking forward to the next book from Sarah.

Once again this author has put out an exciting learning story. So many things were discovered in this story. Science, siblings, a mothers love, as well as peer pressure. Yes, even peer pressure is amongst the Warbler and Cuckoo. This is such a cute story. It is well written and fun to read to children. So many questions to be answered as well as things to discover. This story is well rounded and complete. The pictures are self explained and cute to look at. I am looking forward to the next book put out by this author.
The Christmas Carousel (The Brass Ring Series Book 2) by K. L. Small. This is such an imaginative read for young kids. Its the 2nd book in The Brass Ring Series and it was so good. Its the continuing story of Rusty and his magic ring his grandpa gave him. The only problem is the Carousel is shut down for the winter. While at the mall with his mom he finds a Christmas Carousel and decides to ride all the different animals. The problem is the Carousel costs money and he doesn’t have any. He takes o the job of shoveling snow to earn money so that he can ride the Christmas Carousel and buy his families gifts. Each animal he rides teaches him something new about the meaning of Christmas. He learns how to budget his money so that he can do both things, ride the carousel and buy his family gifts. Such a good educational read that would make a great gift.
