This is my second audio book in this series which I enjoyed listening to just as much as the first. If you haven’t listened to the previous book in this series I highly suggest doing that. It is just as great as this one. I enjoyed the narrator and what they added to the story. They made it easy and engaging to listen to. What happens when you are accident prone and are in need of a protector? Liam and Teresa are about to find out. Their story is one that is full of romance and will keep you coming back for more. The characters have great growth as well as chemistry throughout the story. I really enjoyed this audio book and I think you will as well. I highly recommend this audiobook.

First time reader of this author Brooke May. This the fourth Book of the Code of Honor Series. It was quick reading for me since I read it all in one day, a real page turner. This author is amazing at portraying the characters’ emotions and making you feel every last one.I read this one first but I’ll definitely be going back to read the first 3 books of the series. I like how she wrote the steamy🔥 scenes😏. Also Boyyyyyyy cera is a real piece of work ughhhh. I’m glad Angelica ended up giving Chase a second chance cause I really do love HEAs . I’m looking forward to seeing more of this series also. ps. Ridge is so adorable telling his uncle like it is 🤣

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites for sure. I enjoy this author’s writing style as well as her attention to details to make the story realistic. A well written story about undeniable attraction and he has one mission, to wear her down. You don’t want to miss what these characters do. I found myself hoping they would get their HEA for sure. I enjoyed how creative and engaging the characters are. They add so much to the story which made it easy for me to read. I found this book to be fast paced and hard to put down. A story that is engaging and finds out what happens if the music stops. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.

The title alone drew me to this book and when I saw who the author was I knew without a doubt I needed to read it.
As someone who grew up in the 80’s the little references took me back to a time when the responsibilities of being an adult didn’t weight so hard on me. Rainbow Brite, Cabbage Patch Kids (mine was named Heather Dawn), Strawberry Shortcake, Pac-Man and of course the awesome hair band are just a few things mentioned that made me smile.
I do love that she is named Blaine and even as young as she is she loved and appreciated everything from the 80’s and the connection she had to her Mom through the store.
From the beginning I didn’t want to like Eric because he is a developer who takes the places we love and live and either destroy it or make the cost of housing more than an average person can afford. But I was charmed by him when he met Blaine at the store.
I loved the book, characters and the happy memories that came back. Thanks for reminding of the good old days!

Breathtaking originality. This is the first book I have read by the incredibly talented Toya Richardson and oh so excited. While the synopsis pulled me in, fitting into my comfort genre I never could have imagined the originality within the pages of Mesmerised. Told through the dual perspective of Antoine and Donna, this gives a new look of a story told thousands of times. Antoine is a Hybrid, but not the typical vampire/werewolf no, he is a vampire/angel reading this on page one I was instantly invested so much more than I thought I was already. He had been searching for his mate for six hundred years and finally in her final moments he found her. Donna is a human woman who has truly lost everything in the past year. Her parents in a house fire, her best friends in a train crash, laid off from her job and her bank accounts hacked, her house being taken away. Gustav, the head demon in Antoine’s territory had been playing a long game trying to eliminate Donna before Antoine could find her, leading to both of their deaths. Fated mates if one dies, they both die, regardless of if they ever found each other. The only way to truly end a demon is with your mate. Their connection is instantly intoxicating even if she doesn’t understand why her soul reaches out for this man she’s never met. I devoured this book in one sitting unable to stop going as I yearned to see a happy ending for Antonie and Donna.
The Guardsman is book 2 in the Olympic Peninsula series and this was a very enjoyable story. I highly recommend listening to book one, so you can get a backstory on the characters, especially Liam. I also enjoyed that the narrator of this audiobook is also the author as well.
Liam Ryan was originally presumed dead after being caught an explosion in Israel. His twin sister, Ali, never give up hope that he was still alive. When a private investigator finds Liam, Theresa, who is Joe’s sister, brings Liam home. Liam tries to adjust to being “home” with Ali and Joe….while Theresa has her eyes set on Liam. Deep down, Theresa thinks Liam is stunning and she is intrigued.
Sparks fly between Liam and Teresa even when Liam does not want to admit it at first… but when strange occurrences start happening to Teresa, will Liam be there when she needs him the most?
This is a very good story with suspense, romance and intrigue. I am already looking forward to more from this author.

This was a great 5 star read. My emotions were all over the place during this read. This is a great enemies to lover romance. Ava is friends with all of the King boys with the exception of Matthias. For some reason he is mean to her and she can’t figure out his problem. When fate steps in they get a chance to drop their walls but there is a twist and Ava is sent away. We jump ahead a few years, Matthias returns home and of course he has quite some hurtful words for Ava. I felt the same emotions as Ava during his hurtful attacks. There is so much more to this great read. Will they finally get the truth and a HEA? The author does a great job with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her. Sleeping with the Enemy was a very different read for me. I normally shy away from Mafia Romance because they just aren’t something I typically enjoy. This was different.
I love the idea the Riordan is only a bad guy because he has to be. In a world where you’re born into royalty it’s hard not to follow in your family’s footsteps, even if that royalty is Mafia royalty.
The characters were interesting and I found myself rooting for the not-so-bad bad guys, which definitely is where you want to be with this kind of book.
If you enjoy possessive, but well meaning, men you should really enjoy this book. Pay attention to the trigger warnings though, because they won’t go easy on you in the pages. Happy reading!

I loved this anthology with so many wonderful and talented authors. Each story is unique in its own way. I loved as I turned the pages the spice level heats up…and I highly recommend this anthology to any romance lover.
I loved each story and a few that stood out to me were……..
Unexpected Heros by Naomi Valkyrie I love this author and she is one of my favorites….Unexpected Heros is a MM Romance as Jude and Elijah try and navigate feelings, knowing that they were hurt in the past for different reasons. This story was fantastic and I love the bond of Jude and Elijah.
Jude is trying to live each day at a time. Realing from a loss, he is alone in his thoughts…and in between his security detail jobs, he does not want to go down the deep spiral….until he ends up getting a new neighbor. Elijah is new in town, trying to start a brand new life with his son. Elijah never expected to be embraced by not only his new neighbor, Jude, but also his new job. When unsettling things start happening to Elijah…will Jude be able to save Elijah and his son when they need him the most? Will Jude be able to get past his loss and be able to move on and love again?
Just Another Hallmark Fool by Eliza Matthews This is a short story that was very enjoyable and left me wanting more….the spark and sizzle between Sawyer and Kate, with a little bit of banter…. definitely want more and looking forward to reading more from this author.
Sawyer is retired special ops military, now home enjoying to work for a security company. On a security detail in New York, he meets Kate, literally Kate running into Sawyer by accident. Kate is a successful designer owner, but she has a love of being an artist…what Sawyer loves is how this spitfire of a beauty keeps him on his toes…and have a night they together that is hard to forget. Into the Flames by Dawn Luedecke If you love a good story with a firefighter…this story is for you. Very enjoyable, romance, sizzle with a firefighter and a photojournalist. I am definitely looking forward to more from this author and this series.

He’s not a fan of people with money, especially the way that Theresa flaunts it around, but sometimes the heart will override all other emotions.
Another stellar read by Cat Treadgold! I do recommend reading this series in order since they build on each other. It would be super helpful to know the progression of the relationships in order of them happening. I look forward to reading the remainder of this family’s stories!!

Ali Ryan is on a quest to find out what has happened to her twin brother, Liam. She’s heard that he was involved in an explosion while in Israel but she keeps hearing his voice (twin telepathy). In an effort to “hear” him better, she goes exploring in the Hoh Rain forest. She’s marked her path well but then the weather starts to get dicey and she finds herself standing on the porch of a cabin.
Joe Bob Blade is on vocal rest after having a surgery for the nodes on his vocal chords. He’s hoping that by hiding out at the cabin in the woods that he’ll get the rest he needs without his adoring fans finding him. Next thing he knows, a “wood nymph” appears on his doorstep and he has to rethink his thoughts on his girlfriend and duet partner, Rina.
This is a fun, romantic read that will have you cheering for different character depending on the situation. There were a few areas where the story dragged but they were short-lived. A great little story that will continue with another O’Connell family member! I’m looking forward to Theresa’s story but I think I’m most intrigued by David’s story.

I enjoyed the first book in this series but I liked this one even more! Fast-paced and action-packed, the main leads are quite unique in this story. Even more so, while at first glance it is good vs evil, the hybrids themselves aren’t pure angel wings either. The heroine in this novel is very relatable and it is fun to watch her relationship grow with your mate. Definitely worth the read!
This is a wonderful collection of romance stories. This anthology has something for everyone to enjoy. I especially like how it shows that the main characters complement each other in one way or another. All of the authors have done a very great job in keeping my interest in each story.

This is a great book for anyone who likes suspense with a little bit of romance involved. The characters are sweet, without being saccharine, yet realistic without being too gritty. I am an Outer Space Alien is a colorful children’s book. I have read quite a few of this author’s books to my son, and we really love them. This book wasn’t a favorite of either of us, but it was still cute. While it has a good start, it seems to just…. end. I see it is book 1 of 3, so perhaps the other books will expand on Shirl and her new friend. The story is told from the perspective of a little girl. She thinks she must be an alien from another planet, because she doesn’t enjoy the same things as her family and other children. She creates a radio to talk to aliens, and one comes to visit. They are not alike, but find things to do together. Appropriate for young children, perhaps 3-8.

I somehow missed this series until this book came out which disappoints me, but it wasn’t necessary to read the others to get inti this book, but u think it would give you more information on the family.
Riordan’s love story takes much longer than most, seventeen years to be exact. He can be a jerk, but he will protect everyone and everything he loves including the girl from his past.
So much happens and holy cow there were some incredibly hot moments, especially close to the end. Definitely not something I can remember reading about in previous books.
I have had the pleasure of reading a few books by Ms. Garland and look forward to reading more in the future.

This is a delightful tale of a young girl who hates her name. She has an imaginary (or is she real after all?) alien friend. The story is out of this world, as is the artwork! The two youngsters must compromise in order to play together. This is a heart-warming lesson for all ages.

I love the Sullivan sisters, each one is strong and fierce but also vulnerable. We get to really know Katelyn in this book and catch up with Ellie.
I am thankfully on vacation from work this week and was able to binge read this book. Think I put it down long enough to eat lunch, but refused to take a nap so I could keep reading.
Katelyn is tough, but not as tough as she would like everyone to think. I think part of the reason is her age, and second her profession which I would assume is dominated by men. She is quite in tune with her feelings as well as the horses she works with.
Grant breaks my heart. He let’s his fears from the past control his future. I understand where he’s coming from to a point, but he needs to keep those negative voices out of his head.
Hugh won my heart from the beginning and I loved him even more at the end of the book.
I’m already looking forward to Laney’s story. I have read several books by Ms. Reichert, have enjoyed each one and will always look forward to reading more.

The Guardsman is the second book in the Olympic Peninsula series. Cat Treadgold grabbed my attention and kept me wanting more throughout this entire book. Her story line is spot on, her characters are lovable, and her narration is enjoyable. Her narration allows you to feel her character’s emotion throughout which is very important to me in an audio book. I highly enjoy romance novels and enjoy it even more when there is some suspense intertwined. The Guardsman definitely did not let me down in this category. I thoroughly enjoyed book number one and book number two in this series is even better. I would recommend this audio book to anyone who loves reading romance with a hint of suspense. You are missing out if you do not read this series.

I think its mindboggling how some of the strongest people can be minding their own when they wind up in the middle of a crazy situation of other people’s making. I mean, for one, Veronica is the top in her field, and she ends up in a nightmarish situation. Even the strongest people need backup and support. I love how the author brought all of the elements together. I love the quirks and the witty humor. I swear, I laughed so hard a few times, it left me snorting. Absolutely spectacular!

I loved the fact that the characters seemed real, flawed, and nuanced while keeping all the fun of a romance.
I might be biased because I’m an 80’s baby, but this was such a fun read that brought me back to my early childhood. Go grab some bright colored leggings, tease your hair, and buckle up for this fun nostalgic ride.

I am not normally into this genre but I love this author’s writing style! I also am a huge fan of Detective Scala and everything about his character. He has such a passion for his job that sometimes it overtakes him. Luckily, he has a good support system to help keep him in line and not take on too much stress. He is investigating a disappearance and things take an expected turn. Just when I thought I had things figured out, things are on hold. Then to my surprise another twist pops into the story. I was not expecting the way this one ended. I could have sworn that I had it figured out and then was blind-sided by the end. I will definitely be reading the rest of this author’s books. This was the second one I have read from them, and my only regret was not reading them all in order.

The title is what really got my attention. I love reading about vampires and the city of Atlantis has always intrigued me. I was not disappointed. I love the fact that Katherine isn’t a pushover and I can definitely relate to her character. The story moves pretty quickly and keeps you hooked from the beginning. There’s plenty of action and some steamy parts. There has to be a second book because I need to know if she finds the stone and many more things. I definitely recommend this book.

A smutty, action packed, hot, and heavy Mafia romance that I enjoyed immensely! I picked this book up not expecting much because mafia romances usually sound interesting but unfortunately fail to deliver, sleeping with the enemy did not fail to deliver. Riordan and his Prissy delivered and then some. It was action packed from page one. I had never read anything by this author before but I will most certainly check out her backlog of books. Each of the books in this series is a standalone but I do believe that they have characters in common. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book had it all from action, suspense, mystery, magic, aliens, twists and turns, fast paced, occult, urban fantasy, thrill, and mayhem all rolled into one book. The story line flows really well, and you can follow ago easily. It was so hard to put this book down, I wanted to know what was going to happen next. The characters are amazingly well written in and match the story line very well. Everything was well developed into this book that it really set this for the next one. Julia who’s an orphan and just trying to find herself and where she belongs in the world, but the twist that happens to her was shocking and made me want to know how she was going to work thou this issue. The problem solving that Julia has to deal with made it really hard not to cheer for her. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait for the next one.

I enjoyed the story of Blu and Ashleigh. Blu showed that he had a softer side than the hard rocker that everyone thinks he is. Ashleigh finally mellowed from the uptight, thinking that he’s a pig-headed rocker, and saw him for his true side. I loved this story. It’s a quick read with lots of banter that will have you chuckling. I found Blu’s mom quite entertaining. She is lovely and funny. I think she needs her own story. The characters in this story made this so entertaining and humorous. The story is well-written and very well-done. Again, I love Colorado stories using our beautiful landmarks and trying to guess locations. The details in the writing are beautiful. This is a lovely romance for the rocker lockers and it’s a must.

Oh, Teresa and Liam’s story is so relatable. Even though she came from a rich family, her struggles are one’s that many of us can relate to. Now, Liam, that man is hot, sexy mystery and one that would be fun to discover. I sure enjoyed reading their love story. The mystery of where Liam was after the bombing had me on edge wanting to know just as much as Teresa, Ali and Joe. Don’t even get me started on some of the antagonist’s such as Carrie, Ulla, Koli and some of the others.
The writing is wonderful. I found the tone to be a mysterious and suspenseful tone. There was always an air of “the other shoe is going to drop.” The characters were so well-developed and the details of them and in the story made me feel like I was there. This is one of the best romantic suspense series I’ve read this year. You can read them as standalones or in order. I recommend in order. You have to read this series. You won’t be disappointed.

This book is the second in the series and follows on from book one. This book is just as good as the previous one and I was pulled into the story as soon as I started reading. I loved the main characters. Their story, their connection it all felt so relatable and real. The characters are what made this book for me, I wanted to see how things would work out and how they would develop. The book was well written and has a great pace to it. I like the authors writing style and I will be looking into more of her work for sure. This book was thoroughly enjoyable and I think it is well worth the read.

As with every book I have ever read by this author, this one is absolutely fantastic. It took no effort at all for me to get into this book. I was pulled in right from the start and was hooked on the characters. This story was so emotional. It was complex and heart wrenching, with complicated characters. It is exciting to read and I became invested really quickly. This is an author that I never fail to enjoy. Her books are ones that I buy without reading the description because I know how amazing it will be. I loved the fact that this is a spin off as the original series was so good. And after reading this book I know this series is definitely going to be just as good. I would highly recommend this book.
