I have absolutely loved this entire series. Beckett and Mallory are adorable together and this book was a fabulous end to this whole series. Best friends sister; small town; second chance love are just some of the genres that this book falls under. You can read this as a stand-alone but you will miss out on Evan and CeCes build up that leads to their exciting news in this book. I am so glad I found this series. You will get pulled in and feel like you are part of the wonderful Buckeye Falls residents.

This is the first book I have read in this series. I read this with my seven year old son. We are both enjoyed it! It has a great lesson wrapped up in an adorable kids book. What more can you ask for? We cannot wait to read more in this series. I love how the story is based on a real life pup! The real Buddy is so cute!

Mallory Lawson has been in love with Beckett Fox since they were kid, but a misheard statement caused that to all come crashing down on her. Mallory hasn’t seen Beckett in years and he is back and in Buckeye Falls. Her feelings for him have not changed one bit. However she doesn’t realize that he has the same feelings for her. Beckett has never showed his true feelings because his best friend is Mallory’s brother Evan. Evan is now wanting to propose to his girlfriend using their grandmother’s ring that Mallory thought she would have. So things are pretty messed up right now. Will Mallory tell Beckett her true feelings or will he be the first to apologize for how things ended between them years ago?

I was excited to read book number two in the Titans of Chicago after reading book one. Forbiddingly Yours was dual POV, which will always be my favorite, I think it makes the story flow smoothly and feel fully fleshed out. The relationship between the characters was spicy and sizzling at first until Nicole shows up to a class that Callum is teaching and he totally freaks out although Nicole convinces him they can keep it on the DL. Callum is also a billionaire. We have a good mash up of tropes in this novel. I love Anise Storms writing and her books are always winners.

I picked up my first book by Libby Kay due to a beautiful fall themed cover in spirit of the fall season. I ended up going back and reading the whole series, so it was a no brainer that I would pick this one up too. I really enjoy Libby’s writing, her characters, and the coziness that her writing evokes. Forever to Fall was book number five, and Mallory and Beckett’s second chance at love was no different. If you’re looking for a book, or a series, to fill time and give you all the warm fuzzies you should give Buckeye Falls a chance.

This is the second book I have read in this series. I read this with my seven year old son. We liked this one even more than the first! We loved how we got to meet Buddy’s cat siblings. My son loved how one cat sibling was a mature kitty, while the other was a little naughty. He thinks it’s very realistic to how cats are in real life.

Libby Kay created a wonderful Hallmark love story. My favorite part was the setting, as it is not very often that a story takes place in good ol’ Ohio. Two childhood friends are caught in a romance web. They have loved each other since childhood but were too afraid to announce their feelings. Mal loves Bennett, and vice versa, but cannot move forward with their relationship because he is her brother’s best friend. They begin to sneak around, but their secret does not stay hidden long. In the end, these two find a way to overcome the challenge.

I LOVE this story! So interesting and exciting from the start and I just could not put it down! I read this in a day because I just could not stop, I had to know what was going to happen. Such an interesting story about a pixie with necromancy powers and an unsolved murder and just so much more! I can tell I LOVE it because I just want to read everything and anything from this author now it’s just that good to me. Once I like a writer’s style and storytelling, I just want to read all they have written. I love that this story is told through two characters the pixie and the man trying to solve his sister’s murder and how their fates intertwine and the thoughts and struggles each goes through throughout the story. I very much enjoyed this! Quick read and very interesting! So glad I read this book!

A dark paranormal romance novella which had me hooked from page one. Belladonna is not human but has an obsession with a man, René. René knows deep loss and has turned to drink and drugs in order to block everything out. When he starts being visited by a ‘otherworldly’ woman he thinks he’s going mad. Belladonna believes they are kindred spirits and will give him relief from his pain, in return for his life. Although this is a quick read it has an intriguing storyline, fascinating characters and unexpected plot twists. The descriptive narrative brings both the characters and setting to life which made me feel immersed in the story.

I loved these characters and the storyline created by this very talented author even while my heart broke for Shooter over his feelings. I will definitely be checking out more of this series!

Forever to fall is Book 5 in the Buckeye Falls Series. Mallory and Beckett have not seen each other in fifteen years. They were once childhood sweethearts who shared one unforgettable day playing make-believe where they kissed under the apple tree. Then time and distance separated them and each think that the other has forgotten about that moment so many years ago. When Mallory and Beckett are named as Best Man and Maid of Honor for Malory’s brother, Evan, the two spend time together and it reignites the spark between them. Fearing Evan will be unsupportive of their relationship, they choose to keep the relationship a secret which proves to be harder and harder to hide. This was a cute small town second chance romance between childhood sweethearts Mallory and Beckett complete with hope, dreams, love, laughter, and witty banter. I loved the backdrop of small-town Buckeye Falls with its small-town charm and cast of quirky characters. This was another great installment to this amazing series.

An Ember of Hope is another exciting story part of the War of Destiny series. I definitely recommend reading this series from the beginning to get to know characters and the continuous story-line. This was a great read, enjoyable and I could not put this down..I needed to know what will happen next. The author does a great job of storytelling and I really did enjoy this fast paced read with drama, danger, betrayal and conflict but also self discovery.
Matthew struggles and distances himself from the Resistance, especially after the trauma he endured, feeling betrayed. What becomes into believing he can stop King Valentino….does Matthew have what it takes including allies with him…but does he have the trust in those who want to help….
Great story overall…I am looking forward to more from this talented author!!

We only recently read our first book by this author so we were excited to get our hands on the next one so soon. I think we were all looking forward to reading more about Buddy and his fun adventures. This book was not only entertaining, but had a great message it had been focused around – the importance of telling the truth. This felt like a very familiar concept to us, with my eldest coming in to the phase of learning how to “tell tales” and understanding why you should be truthful. This author really has a knack for weaving a fun yet educational tale. As with the last book, my kids thoroughly enjoyed this story. They were instantly engaged and their attention was held until the final page. This is a great story and we all want more adventures from Buddy!

This is the 7th book in the series an I do feel like I missed a few things by not reading other books in the series. This is about two teenage sweethearts who found their way back to another before dreams an life gets hectic. Get ready for lots of Love, romance, jealousy and so much more. But what happens when the rodeo is over an its time to go back to reality?

What a cute story. It’s true home is where the heart is. But we don’t all live in houses. I love that the author included the outdoor critters as well. The pictures are bright and colorful. Opening the storytime for conversations. The writing is clear and easy for our little ones to follow. Another great open ended book. A must have for all of our bookshelves.

This isn’t my favorite of the series but it is still good. Mainly because I keep getting the feeling this isnt the first time they have danced this secret dance. But yet no mention of it. Just guesses they have been together multiple times in the past 10 yrs. They both are just waiting for it to magically be okay with the brother but no one wants to tell him until after his engagement. Now the whole idea of them getting “married” when they were kids by the brother is great. Add in years gone by and each would love to do it for real but there is on giant obstacle. Evan. Beckett worries of losing friendship or never seeing Mal again. He figures either way he loses so why try. Overall this is cute and delightful with the bumps and bruises that come with close family and friends. These two really took Forever

This is the second book in the Titans of Chicago series. I loved the Titans of Manhatten series so couldn’t wait to jump into this new one. And it didn’t disappoint. This is a romantic suspense read with a hidden secret relationship element, miscommunication, angst, drama and plenty of chemistry that make these reads captivating. In this story we meet Callum and Nicole. After sharing a passionate holiday fling both of them leave Costa Rica thinking they will never see each other again. So imagine how awkward they feel when Nicola goes back to collage and discovers that Callum is her teacher. Even though then decide to keep the student/teacher relationship professional they can’t deny the chemistry and eventually start dating in secret. Or so they thought.
Little do they realise that someone knows their secret and that person will stop at nothing to break them apart so they can have Nicole for themselves. Callum is a Titan and he always gets what he wants but will this time be the only time he can’t. With all the money and power behind him it could still not be enough to stop the person hell bent on destroying him and everything he has.
This was a great read and I can’t wait to read more

This is the 7th book in this series and can be read as a stand alone. It is also one of many that I have read by this author and each time I read one of her books, I am reminded why I like them so much. This book has everything that you could want from a second chance romance stand point. I like the twist where the female is the one that left in pursuit of her dreams. It gives it a little twist that isn’t in most second chance romances. I also, really enjoyed the male character and how he is the one that struggled after the break up. It just took some different perspectives that really made me enjoy the book. It is a quick read and you won’t be able to put it down because of how well it is written. This books showcases the struggle that can happen within families when someone takes an ex back and how outside interference can effect relationships. That said it was amazing. I am looking forward to reading more from this author cause I have yet to be disappointed. Reviewed by: @bbohls

A Pig and A Poke by Tricia Gardella is an adorable read. The writing in this book really showcases perseverance, gender equality, and courage among many other important themes when it comes to children and growing and developing. Although I didn’t grow up on a ranch, my daughter has raised pigs for 4H the last few years. But before that, she actually participated in a greased pig contest and caught a pig. While reading this book I was thinking of that day when she caught her greased pig. The only difference was about fifty little kids running around trying to catch fifteen pigs. It was hilarious and fun for the kids and the spectators. This book was a perfect depiction, but slightly less chaotic than the event actually is in real life. I also really enjoyed the realistic illustrations throughout the book. I have chosen to give A Pig and A Poke four stars for the themes, writing, and illustrations. I had never heard of Tricia Gardella prior to this book. As an elementary teacher and mom of two daughters, I can’t wait to read this with my class and my almost three year old. They will all enjoy it just as much, if not more than I did. I look forward to reading Tricia’s other books in the future.

I absolutely loved this book! It had a few twists I didn’t expect. It’s a quick paranormal romance read, which is not usual go to, but it was pretty good! Def recommend.
Trinity has been living her dream of a Rodeo Queen but as her term is coming up she is reflective on the opportunities that have passed her by, one in question is Scooter Price. She broke his heart when they broke up, but now seeing him again bringing’s up the old feelings of lost love.
Scooter is a little lost in his career, seeing his old girlfriend Trinity living her best life kind of makes him feel like a failure. When a chance meeting at a dance throws in the feelings he thought he had buried, can he follow what he truly wants or will other people trey to sabotage the relationship.
This is the seventh book in this collection and can be read as a standalone. The book is fast pace and a quick read with all the elements of a second romance that is just brilliant to read.
The chemistry between the main characters is off the page and you have to have a little pull of your heart strings for Scooter as he is so conflicted at times. Trinity character was refreshing to read and although she went after he goals she also felt the pull from Scooter that she may have made a mistake.
The book is a romance novel with all the heartfelt feelings and characters you just fall in love with, can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Glimpses of an otherworldly woman with purple hair start to plague Rene. Belladonna has spent years preparing and planning to find and destroy the hunters who killed her family. Rene is the key to all her plans.

Oh how I missed Buckeye Falls and it’s people ! It’s good to be back 🥰
This was almost too much for my heart to handle but in a good way 😉 Mallory “married “ Beckett in their family orchard 15 years ago and the Ruby ring , which was a family heirloom was on her finger and she’s always dreamed that their childhood wedding would become a reality , Beckett had always owned her heart ❤️ now reality has come to shake things up when her brother Evan wants to propose to CeCe with “ her ring” …., do you feel my anxiety !?
Beckett left Buckeye Falls but his memories never left him and as he heads back home after his grandpas passing he wonders if Mallory also remembers but the heart always will remember my dear 🥰 and he feels what Mallory’s feeling as they prepare for the wedding of friend and family 🥰🙈
So she’s maid of honour and he’s best man so there’s no way they can avoid each other and poor Beckett is fraught that his friend won’t approve his relationship with his sister 🙈
I know I could’ve read this in a shorter time span but I really dragged it out to make it last 🤣❣️📚 I loved each page and being around these characters that just make you feel like you’re home ! I can’t wait to come back again to Buckeye Falls🥰
