Bailey needed improvement, and thankfully her brother Dayton stepped in and pushed her to make changes so she was a better person.
This ended up being quite the adventure for Bailey and somehow Marnie (her best friend) and Tanner get to go on the adventure.
This was quite the entertaining book and I found myself laughing a few times as I was reading. The sibling dynamic between Bailey and Dayton was spot on with siblings and it me miss my sister.
This was my first time enjoying a book written by Ms. Cooper and I hope not my last.

The residents of Buckeye Falls are some of my favorite people! I’d love to live there and mix and mingle with Max, Gina, Cee Cee, Evan, Anthony, and Natalie! Of them all, Max is still my favorite.
The newest story of Buckeye Falls features the mayor, Anthony, and his wife, Natalie. The Snyders’ have been a fixture in the town for many years as Anthony succeeded his dad in the mayorship. Natalie is getting her new business with Gina off the ground, an event planning business. Things are going well for the Snyder family from the outside in, but if one were to step on the inside and look out, things aren’t so perfect.
When an opportunity arises for them to go to the lake house owned by Anthony’s parents, both Anthony and Natalie have to be convinced that they can take a few days off of work to go pack up the house to sell, while the kids hang out with the grandparents. They decide to go and things don’t go there as planned either.
I absolutely love these characters and this story. This all seems like a real place and I often find myself in this town hanging out with these people as I read. I become a resident of Buckeye Falls for the few hours that it takes me to read this story.
All of the books in this series can be read as a stand alone. There are characters that move across each book though so having some background context would make them more enjoyable. This series is one of my favorites and I look forward to learning even more about this town I’ve falled in love with!

This is the first book I have read from this author and wow she has a new fan. I love a good romance with a twist. I could not stop reading this story because of these characters. I finished this amazing book in less than twenty four hours. I can’t wait to see what she will write about next.

Ben also has his own coffee shop that he loves. He thinks he has his life together until Caden Benson comes into the coffee shop. I enjoyed this paranormal romance with some twists, turns, spicy connection, secrets, drama and deceit… covens and magic! This author never hesitate to pick up anything she writes and I definitely recommend this book.
What happens when there is a connection between two people from two different covens…knowing that they only wants one thing from each other….this is Rose and Titan. Rose is part of the Wolfbane Coven and Titan is prince of the Dutchmen coven…technically enemies as there is a curse at each coven and they feel like the opposite coven is responsible of that curse. When Titan’s mother has a ball gathering at their castle, she wants Titan to pick his future wife, they need a heir. Rose is there vying to get closer to Titan…but only to get back the moonstone to lift their curse. Will both Rose and Titan get what they want and lift their home covens curse?
I loved the characters in this story…Rose is a great heroine and I loved her strength…and Titan grew on me, at first he was a bit standoffish and cold. I loved the spice between Rose and Titan.

A paranormal romance between Rose from the Wolfbane coven and Titan from the Dutchman coven. A feud between the two covens due to the Dutchman coven stealing the precious moonstone from the Wolfbane coven years ago. Titan is searching for a wife now that he is of age, and Rose along with several other suitors are at the Dutchman coven to see if they connect. Rose is also hoping they match so that she can bring the moonstone back to her people. Will Rose manage to help her coven? I liked the book although it was somewhat slow moving in the beginning. The characters are well written.

It all started with a list. Dayton has a list of imperfections for Bailey. Bailey ends up on a little date with Tanner at Froyo. This actually leads to more. There’s a cute, clean romance here. I love the whole story and kind of wished for more indepth of the characters like Tanner, but overall a great read!

I have read a few books from this author and always enjoyed them. Unfortunately this is the first book in this series that I have read. It was really good and now I have to go back and read the others. Although part of a series, this can be read as a stand-alone. Ethan had a bad experience with his ex and he swore that he would get revenge. Along comes Siena and the perfect plan unfolded. Siena unknowingly threw a wrench in his plans, he fell for her. Ethan is a dominant and Siena is the perfect submissive, his light to his dark. They are puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together. Surrounding circumstances put her in danger which finally makes him realize how much he cares. Will they get a chance at a happily ever after or will the fates cheat him again?
I’ve always enjoyed erotic romances. Throw a bit of BDSM into the mix and I’m happy. This story was darkly erotic and twisted. It leaned towards the sadist/ masochist side of BDSM. Although I couldn’t connect to that part of the story, I enjoyed the book nonetheless.

What a cute story. This story was so true of children and their first days of school, no matter what age or grade. All parents and teachers are to set the best example to our children. Making their school experience joyful. This author played it out in her story. Shining a well written light on our educators. The story covers all nationalities and sizes of people around the world. This is a must have for all libraries and home bookshelves.
It all started with a ball, a ball where hand picked and eligible young women have been invited to be appraised for their suitability to become the wife of the Prince of the Dutchmen Coven, but Prince Titan doesn’t want a wife, but he knows that time is running out and he has to, so he watches his mother, the Queen question the young women in front of the crowd. Rose Wolfbane is one of the women, but she isn’t there to marry Titan, she is there for her coven, the Wolfbane Coven who have been cursed by a coven of witches so that they are ruled by the phases of the moon and only one thing can break it and that thing lies somewhere in the Palace she is standing in.
As Titan observes each girl, he sees nothing and nobody who particularly stands out, that is until the last girl, as soon as he meets her eyes, he knows that she is more than she seems and invokes feelings which he never thought he would have, but also ones which complicate his mothers plans to marry him off because she is the absolutely least suitable for the role. As Rose takes her turn under the scrutiny of the Queen and Titan, she is more forthright and slightly more truthful than her cover story allowed, but she knows that if she stuck to just that, she would be found out far too quickly and she knows all too well what that would mean to herself and her coven, so when the royals decide to leave the ball early, she takes the opportunity to start her real mission and try to forget how handsome Titan really is.
As the days pass and Rose is no closer to finding out where her target object is, she is also trying not to step on the toes of the other ladies, but that is not easy when Titan seems to be singling her out and giving her the attention instead of the real contenders, meanwhile Titan is trying to figure out a way to get some time alone with Rose, but she is making it difficult for him when she appears and disappears all the time, but he is determined to figure her out and soon. In between finding favour with his female suitors, Titan is also trying to spend time with his father as he grows progressively weaker as the magic attachment to their kingdom slowly kills him, he just hopes that his father can hold on long enough for him to conceive an heir before he passes on.
Will Rose be able to find what she is looking for, or will Titan figure her out and use this to his advantage and what about the darkness within the other which both attracts and repels them all at the same time, will this become a problem which neither of them foresaw or expected? This is a romantic suspense with plenty of magic, intrigue and missions throughout which will keep you on your toes throughout and hooked until the end.

This is a clean romance. I haven’t read a clean romance in a bit, and this one was such a well written one. I truly liked Bailey, I felt that she had a great amount of sass and that she was a decent sport with her brother and his list. At first it kind of irked me that her brother had a list about the ways that she could just improve. However, the more I read and the more I thought, the idea really didn’t bother me at all. I don’t know anyone who has a perfect relationship with their siblings and when pressed they probably could produce a long list of ways they wish their sibling could improve. She goes on a date with Tanner due to her brother’s list and what happens next turns into a really wonderful book. This book was very light hearted with characters that definitely dealt with some problems that I could relate to.

I am truly beginning to think Nadija Mujagic is going to become one of my absolute favorite authors. Every book that I’ve read by her so far has not disappointed me at all and has been a read that I don’t want to put down. I definitely want to say that this book was absolutely fantastic. I read this in one day and definitely did not want to put it down. This is a fantastic psychological thriller filled with twists and turns. I absolutely loved the depiction of the small college town where this takes place. I feel like it perfectly depicts a college town from its charm to the people that live here. This is a story of a bullied child seeking revenge upon one of their bullies later in life. This plot sucks you in and doesn’t let you go until you finish it. This is absolutely a must read and will be a favorite of lovers of psychological thrillers!

This was a good read! This book is fiction, but I also feel like with the way some of the events were described that the authors did a really good job researching and historical facts to back up their story. This was an emotional read, and very well written for that. I thought it gave a very good insight into how the native Americans were treated throughout the colonizing. I look forward to reading the second book. This first one was left very open ended and I love to see where the story goes from there.

This is another fun and entertaining read by an author that knows how to create sweet romances. I think this book has to be one of my favourites by her and the characters are the reason. I loved Bailey and Tanner. Their connection grows over time and it is nice to see how much Bailey was surprised by him. I usually find a little harder to connect with the characters in a clean romance but I was really taken in by these two. The story was written perfectly for them too. It flowed well and had an easy reading pace to it. This was a thoroughly enjoyable book from a great author.

This is an engaging and entertaining book that teaches children the importance of taking care of themselves. It brings a new take on kindness that not all children will have thought about. I thought this book did a great job of opening up new topics for discussion that myself and my daughter hadn’t touched on before. I think the message in this book is one for adults to take note of as well. The best way to look after others is to make sure you look after yourself first. This was a great, educational book and should be shared with children.

Yet again anther really cute read form this author. I loved the illustrations in this book to they were nice and colourful and engaging. The story had a lovely rhyme to it which is great for children as well as the hidden message behind the story. It would be great talking point for children about how we treat people who are different and we should get to know everybody regardless of what they look like.

Between Darkness and Light is the third book in the War of Destiny series. Some old and new faces merge five years after Julia’s betrayal to Ka-tet as she tries to regain trust and repair old friendships. In desperation, Julia left Ka-tet and everyone she loved and trusted, to join Valentino, the Vampire King. Everything is in disarray and tensions are high with everyone believing Julia has lost her mind. Julia is also worried and stressed, not only about the failing friendships, but also fearful that the visions and whisperings will once again return. Maybe she IS losing her mind, after all of the traumas and experiences she has endured… Everyone is on edge, and Julia once again tries to approach their leader, finding that he has left. As an only resort, she seeks out Matthew, who is less than thrilled that she has come knocking. The pair soon realize that the leader is not where he normally would be and become concerned. It doesn’t take long to figure out Julia can track him down and Matthew hesitantly agrees to help. Before long, the visions return and Matthew is skeptical. Eventually they realize this is more than they anticipated, something dark is at play, and the course of destiny may very well be changing. Being forced to work together with the person he now despises the most, will Matthew come around? Will he let Julia explain her reasons, and will Julia make it to Samuel in time? I definitely recommend this series, it continues to grow and get more intense as time progresses! I rated the previous two books 4/5 but will give this a 5/5 since the characters continue to develop and the story grows on you. Definitely not sorry that I picked this series up! When I first read the synopsis of this book I wasn’t sure I would like, I love rockstar romance reads but it didn’t grab my attention straight away but I am SO glad I did read it – this was an amazing read and definitely one of my favourite books this year. I didn’t feel like I would like Maria but I was so wrong, she was great female lead, she had a strength that I don’t even think she believed that she had and the chemistry between her and Oz was great. I really liked Oz as well, he wasn’t what I expected at all. Overall this was a great read, I absolutely loved it and I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future.

I loved this story so much. It was a really great read. I had a thing for Laurent from the very beginning, he was such an honest and refreshing character. Phoebe was great too, I’ll admit I wasn’t too sure at first but she really did grow on me and I loved the chemistry that there was between them, it was so genuine and real. I do love a small town romance read too so this was definitely going to be a winner for me. I am so excited to read the rest of this series! Great story, wonderful characters and fantastic writing! I highly recommend this read!

Talks Like Thunder (Red With Native Blood Book 1) by Randal Nerhus & Marjorie Carter. This was such an amazing read. I enjoyed it and learned so much from it. Its the story of young Desert Flower whose parents have died from Small Pox so her grandfather kidnaps her and takes her back to his tribe. He renames her Talks Like Thunder and taking place in the 1800’s life was not easy for her or any of the Indians. She loved thru wars, boarding schools, famine and so much more. This all turns her into the strong, independent warrior that she is. When she is held captive by US soldiers she vows on everything she is to take revenge on each and everyone of them. Talks Like Thunder is such a strong young woman and I rooted, cried and cheered for her all the way thru this emotional, powerful story!

Another cute story by Lois Wickstrom where she incorporates life lessons for kids into it. Chester doesn’t want to clean his room (what kids does) and so he compromises and says he’ll go clean the sandbox first. While out there, he meets the Messy Kids and whatever Chester does, they can do it bigger and better than him. They follow him into his room to clean and initially, they shove everything under the bed, but when Chester’s mom comes in and tells Chester that he knows better than that, the Messy Kids use their strengths to help Chester clean his room the right way. As always, I love that Wickstrom weaves lessons into her books and I love the illustrations.
This is a really cute story about Colleen and her dad and his job of holding up the sky. Colleen’s friends and their parents don’t actually believe that her dad holds up the sky so she invites them over to see. They still don’t believe her so her dad stops holding up the sky and begins to play with them. Nothing immediately beings to happen so Colleen begins to doubt her dad; however, subtle things start to go wrong so Colleen has to fix it. I really enjoy how Wickstrom is always able to weave life lessons into her stories. The illustrations for this book are fantastic as well.

In spite of the hardships she was born into, she becomes a strong and proud young woman who fights to save her family, her tribe and her land. This is a beautiful novella that only hints at the devastation inflicted upon our native tribes told through the eyes of an Apache teen. Family, honor and tragedy all form the development and growth of a girl to maturity. Five stars!

Toby Dorr is an amazing author to come forward with her side of the story. It must be hard for years to hold in all this and make a story of it. I give you 5 stars for that because it might not be easy. This story made me feel like loved it and did not agree with it. Love will always conquer any struggles in life and love will do crazy things but to free a person who needs to reflect in life, I have to put that down. This story did touch my heart because all she wanted to do is to be with her love and he did too.

Beautifully written This inspirational story follows Neyah and Abby as they form a bond through being pen pals. They discover that life has many challenges no matter where you live and what your circumstances are. This story reminds the reader about walking a mile in someone else’s shoes, and also that we are not alone. A great book for early teens and above. Recommend.

Skylar has to face some hard truths too. I loved this book and I love the whole series. The writing just draws you in. This author is a firm favourite. Bring on the next book. Highly recommend.

This was a decent read but why Bailey must listen to her over-involved, controlling brother Dayton, only 18 months older with his own set of issues? When I began this read, I seriously thought the main characters were teenagers because of how they acted, not those in their early 20s. While I understand the concept of this story is to see the maturity of Bailey grow and her becoming a decent human, I just didn’t enjoy how she began her growth journey and didn’t fully evolve her growth into an likeable character. I felt Dayton kept overstepping the brother role and hindering Bailey from actually self reflecting and learning on her own. The character I did enjoy was Tanner and I kept wanting him to run far, far away from the toxicity of Bailey and her brother. But alas, this is a feel good book so we must root for Bailey and Tanner to succeed in love and hopefully Bailey will hit a maturity level that matches her age soon or kick her brother to the curb and be her own individual self. I also enjoy Marnie and her ice cream matchmaking skill. That was a cute addition to this story.

5 Stars Brutal Nights (Hidden Valley Elite Book 4) by Isla Vaughn
Brutal Nights (Hidden Valley Elite Book 4) is a Enemies to Lover’s/Dark Romance that will have you turning the pages till the end. I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book plays off the last plus you get to know the characters better and whats been going on. Going in I kinda had an idea of how everything was going to play out. Some I was spot on while others no where close. Damon and Sky are both playing a deadly game when it comes to their hearts. Neither one wants to admit to the other how they really feel. Emotions run high in this conclusion to Damon and Sky’s story. Afraid I’ll give something away im going to highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m sad this series is over because I want more but super excited about this Author’s next series.
