This is when the plant translator is born, so when she gets it working, she decides she wants to throw a party with the plants, but can Alex decode the words and discover what do the plants want to do at the party?

Ian and Jarryd return for another adventure after the conclusion of The Crown of Stones trilogy. After the events of the trilogy, we get to see more of them and the world the author has created. Magic, adventure, and incredible trials await them in this standalone novella. Though I’ve read the trilogy, by the way this novella was written, anyone would feel comfortable reading this book before the others if they were so inclined. Though short, the book was well-written and paced, delivering a clear, fantastical insight into the world of the Crown of Stones.

I happened upon Ways to Improve Bailey, from a recommendation. This romance was light-hearted and funny. Bailey has a snarky sassiness, that I loved. Tanner, who is a more matter-of-fact guy, complements Bailey. While Bailey does not really want to go on a date with Tanner in the beginning, she reluctantly takes a chance. When Bailey realizes there is more to Tanner than she thought, she realizes maybe she can improve. If you are looking for a fast-paced, witty rom-com I recommend this book.

his is an interesting middle age children’s book. It has a scientific learning aspect to it that is written in a way that is easy to understand. This is a story about Alex and the flower inflator that she invents. Alex has a great imagination that adds to her character’s connectability. All the characters are fun and creative. This is an engaging story that will keep your child engaged to the end. I highly recommend this book to any middle aged child.

I enjoyed reading this cute story about Bailey and her things that she needs to improve on. Her brother keeps adding to the list. What will happen when she goes on a date with the weirdest guy? He isn’t as she expects and now has her thinking about the improvements that she has been ignoring. I enjoyed her character and what she brought to the story. I enjoyed watching her growth as well throughout the story. Will she make the improvements or will she just stay as she is? This is a well written story where the author used details to give the story a realistic feel. It is fast paced and engaging as well. You don’t want to miss what happens to Bailey. I highly recommend this book.

Along the way, the friendships Tally makes in this book are less profound than her two besties in India, but the cast of characters is more unique- from invisible cursed people to a beloved dog. The use of Innuit words as a sparkle of local flavor as well as the vivid descriptions of the cold climate, as well as Eleanor described the hot stickiness of India in book one. In this book, I felt Tally had to become more brave because she encountered more foreign things than in book 1.

This book would be perfect for kids that love geography and learn about other countries of the world. I appreciated how the author, Eleanor Dixon, mentions death and grief in a realistic way. The book follows Tally as she solves the mystery of how to save not only her best friends sister, but numerous other children. I love how Eleanor interweaves some historical cultural icons of India throughout the story (feeling less forced than some other series), such as clothing, multiple deities, etc.
You can tell the author has actually visited India, because the descriptions are authentic in feel and a joy to read. Even as an adult, I enjoyed reading about Tally’s adventure and can’t wait to see what problems she solves in Canada (book 2) and Japan (book 3).

I really liked this book. It’s a novella with the Crown of Stones series. You can read it alone, but much easier to understand a few things if read with the rest of the series. This author really made you feel like you were in the story, like with the other ones as well. I could not put it down. Ian unknowingly sets sail to the Wandering Islands. So much adventure and some old characters pop up.

Who doesn’t love a tall, dark vigilante who gets his hands dirty…in more ways than one 😉 Efrem has done some nasty things in his life and he’s trying to even out his karma by playing vigilante. Miranda is in the midst of a horrendous divorce and hires Efrem to help her get to the bottom of what her soon-to-be ex has been up to. They fall for one another but will they be able to wade through all of the lies and secrets of their pasts? I really enjoyed this installment of the Popov Boys series. This is the 6th book and it can definitely be read as a standalone (I did) but I’m sure there are some subtle storylines and characters in there that Georgeson has introduced in past books. I definitely want to pick up the other 5 and see what those characters and plot lines have to offer. This is an age-gap, friends to lovers, mafia romance with an HEA. There is defiantly a spice level as well.

This is the 3rd book in The Cecily Taylor series. I really recommend reading these books from the beginning as we have followed Cecily from the start of her dreams of being an actress and all the ups and downs that come along with that. This is a sweet YA romance and deal with many topics that they may face in their lives so as jealousy and people looking for ways to bring you down. Cecily is leaving to follow her dreams. With a job on a TV soap, the man of her dreams and now living in the big city her life can’t get anymore perfect. All her dreams are finally coming true. The problem is Cecily doesn’t expect the downsides that follow being famous and having a famous boyfriend. When stories and rumours start to circulate can Cecily and Andrew be strong enough to work through them and know the truth? All Cecily wants is to live a happy life doing a job she loves with the man she loves by her side. Why are people out to get her? What could they be achieving by hoping she fails? This is a great story about learning to see through lies and rumours, staying true to yourself and fighting for what you want no matter how many people try to put you down and put obstacles in your way.

Just an ahead warning, there is a constant stream of sex. If you are into that, this is the book for you. If not I’d stop before you get too far in. I’m pretty open minded so it didn’t bother me. I do wish there was more story but I believe the details in the encounters are well written. The two men are looking for a woman to join their relationship and it tells you of their path to find the one.

Sleeping Love is an MM Romance Fantasy story about a man named Ayo who is banished by his kingdom, but quickly finds himself on a quest to save his love, Prince Yi, and his magic. The Prince and Ayo grew up together as “brothers” but he quickly realized he loved him, but due to the prince’s cruel father, this is a path that could never be. Eventually, the king banishes Ayo, to an awful island that finds a way to kill many of its inhabitants, and steals his magic in hopes to use it for himself. Ayo comes to find out that the kingdom was put under a spell and his prince is in a deep sleep. This spell is hitting many of the realms so that the Mulluk can obtain more power, or that is at least the thought. Ayo is able to wake his prince with “a kiss”, and they begin their journey to save the kingdom and Ayo’s magic. We quickly learn that the prince feels the same way and is in love with Ayo, however, Ayo is questioning so many things because he knows Yi is hiding something. Ayo, Yi, and other comrades make their way to get Ayo’s magic back, learn about Ayo’s past, and try and save the realms. I liked that the storyline seemed to move along quickly and is a standalone book. There were parts that I thought were odd or unnecessary due to the lack of information provided for it, but overall was a good story. It was full of humor, strength, romance, and adventure. I enjoyed the characters for the most part. Bai Qian, one of the comrades, is a female princess but wants to destroy the female persona for the time. She was a great character – she was badass, royal, strong, smart, and cunning. She was quite funny and enjoyable to read about. As for the main characters, Ayo and Yi, they too were great characters. There were times that Ayo got on my nerves because of his insecurities, but overall, he was a loving, devoted love interest. Yi was more my type of character. While he was royal, he was down-to-earth, loving, honest, and not shy about who he was. The love story uses old tales to show how powerful a kiss can be!

Absolutely loves Ef and Miranda’s story. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it because it just seemed to Weird the way it was set up But I was totally Wrong. Can he open up to let her in? These chapters are so beautiful. The Bluestone world is such a great place to visit where you just feel right at home.

Bound by Hinterlands takes a few pages to get into. It is written in Early Modern English to bring you into the piece. It is a quick book to read. It did take me a bit longer than normal because I had to rearrange my thought process. Don’t judge. The story is a tale of a woman who has a father who is abusive and has arranged a marriage. Will the arranged marriage be a fall or will she fall for this handsome stranger?

Efrem is the baby of the family and the last to find his happily ever after, but like all things with the Popov family nothing goes smoothly.
Miranda is in the middle of an ugly divorce and all she wants to do is run her company and get rid of her soon to be ex. And I gotta say she is so much better without him.
As with the others I have had the pleasure reading, this has some suspense and some seriously hot moments. Kaitlyn is the absolute best and she breaks my heart a little.
Here’s hoping there will be a second generation series some time in the future.

Loved this book! The bratva is now disbanded and Efrem Popov is trying to strike out on his own. I’m doing so, his new boss Miranda takes a chance on him. He’s so eager to prove his worth, that he gets caught up in a romance, and the lies begin. He is Punk, a predator, and she is hunting him. Can they move past the deceit and secrets? Or will their secrets come back and ruin their lives for good?
This book was amazing! Love the series, but this book has been one of my favorites! Wonderful characters, edgy romance, desire and want fill the pages. The descriptiveness of the feelings and the perspectives from the characters are so well done, you lose yourself in this story. Read this book if you like action, romance, perseverance, and crazy plot twists.

This is a contemporary romantic suspense with drama, danger, tension, angst, emotion, agendas, BDSM, Dom/Sub, secrets, and revenge. Victoria Saccenti has crafted fully realised individuals with their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws. Both our MC’s have their own baggage and challenges, which added extra angst, tension, emotion, and interest to the whole story. I don’t have young kids any more as mine are all grown but had this book been around when they were little I absolutely would have read this to them time and time again. It truly is a fun read that had me laughing quite a few times and the illustrations are just gorgeous and complement the storytelling beautifully.

If you want a read that fills your heart and has you believing in love again then this captivating Fairy tale retelling is for you. As other reviewers have mentioned it is a friends to lovers M/M romantic tale and in my opinion is has so much to offer the reader. This author writes such wonderful characters and creative storylines that I know I will be coming back time again to read her talented writing.
