Honestly I loved this book, even though I faced a trigger here or there. This book is something that talks about or brings to light a subject that we often don’t get enough exposure of. I thought this book was well executed, the characters were well thought out and I enjoyed seeing them progress and grow. I couldn’t have put this one down if I had tried. It was very well written and a great read!!!

This is a good story about picking yourself up and finding love again. Elle returns home with both seen and unseen bruises. She quickly finds out that trying to hide secrets and heal in a small town proves to be quite challenging. Add in her childhood sweetheart, who has quite the surly response to her reappearance, and things get even more complicated. Seems that Blake has been fighting his own demons since Elle left town.
I found my heart going out for Elle and wanting her to be able to find happiness. By having Blake help her with the ranch, the reader can only hope that they will both pick themselves up and get back on the right track. I really admired Blake’s own journey of healing. Add in Elle’s family who were supportive and it makes reading a story that covers some quite heavy subject matters a little easier to get through. Overall, a good book that I enjoyed.

This was a good 4 star read. I am really enjoying this series and this book pulled me right in. I really enjoyed the characters. Garrett had to make some choices early on in his career that were not easy. Years later he starts to realize what he gave up. Fate steps in and he runs into Olivia, the one that he destroyed with his choices. Olivia has a great career directing music videos, of course her new video is for the band that Garrett manages. Will Garrett be able to capture Olivia’s heart again? Or will he lose her again? Overall I really enjoyed this read. My emotions were all over the place. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. You can read this book as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the start so you are familiar with all of the characters. Oh my goodness! I loved this book! My emotions are still all over the place after finishing the book and trilogy.
I unfortunately could understand what Lauren was feeling after she and Mitch struggle the way they are. The feelings of failure and self doubt are deep but at the same time failing to see how your actions also played a part in the current status.
I am so happy with how everything turned out and loved to see where life ended up for everyone.
I have been fortunate enough tobread all of the Trilogy and I’m looking forward to reading more by Ms. Navickas.

Awakening. This is the first book I have read by the talented Courtney Davis and oh boy do I still have chills. Told from a dual perspective, Jade, and Baal. A perfect representation of making your own fate in many ways, not following the “order” of things because its prophesied. Jade is a 30-year-old female that has finally broken free of her abusive, mobster ex by way of turning into a federal witness to his many crimes. Baal is the first King of Hell and is determined to get his throne back and live to see his sister free. Her parents died in a car accident when she was eighteen years old, just as she was beginning her adulthood, but little things she remembers them doing odd habits and almost ritualistic ways begin to make sense after she wakes up to a stranger who vanishes. Baal goes to investigate the old antique shop when his warding’s indicates that someone is present and it’s not a human. Seeing her laying in bed knowing who she is according to the prophecy he knows he should kill her but then an opportunity arises. He has no time to dance around truths or to be gentle with the world-shattering news, telling Jade he knows she is not related to the late Mr. Williams, saying “the Williams family blood stinks of old troll magic. Diving into the third book in the Realm Chronicles series was more than I could have hoped for! I had high expectations since the first two books were amazing, and somehow Tricia Copeland STILL blew me away. My picky, detailed brain loved the list of the Royal Families of Middle Earth before the first chapter. Queen Titania is no meek female protagonist. She is strong-willed and can back up any claim she makes. She is trying to save her kingdom, fend off other royals, and find a suitable husband. If that isn’t a marvel all in itself, I don’t know what is. The author continued the perfect flow of the story and their intricate world-building rivals the previous books. I highly recommend picking this book (and series) up, especially if you enjoy the YA and urban fantasy genres!

This last in the series proves to be such a powerful end as well as showcase Titana as the Queen of Aruben. This was a very interesting book. I enjoyed it very much. I think it gave a very accurate presentation of what some kids go through when they start a new school, especially if they are just a little bit different. I also liked the story line about Silas’ grandfather’s struggle with Alzheimer’s. The accurate portrayal of the struggle that families face when a loved one is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s was very good. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has felt alone as I think it will give them hope and comfort.
An amazing read with wonderful character. Tam does a great job of bringing up real-world problems in this book.
This book follows the story of Adam and Cristy. Adam is the bassist for one of the largest rock bands in the world. He has a plethora of women that want him and want even a minute of his time. Cristy is a pop singer that does not do real relationships. Most are ones of convenience that benefit her and the other person.
When Adam’s band asks Cristy to join them on tour a lot happens. Her confidence is alluring and draws him in along with most of the crowds they play for. Adam is steady and helps keep the pace for the band but now this little vixen has started to shake things up.
Can the bad boy rocker catch the eye of the beloved pop star? What happens when you add heat and a long tour? Will past secrets stay hidden or threaten everything for one of them?
Read to find out if they can overcome hurdles or if they are just having fun. This book is steamy so I suggest you have some water to help cool you off.

I picked this book up immediately after finishing the first in the series, and it’s amazing that the books connect so flawlessly. I feel like I picked up right where I left off. Titania is an amazing character with this incredible amount of grit and perseverance that I just love. She makes such a magnificent heroine and is sure to rub some of her character off on you. I usually don’t find that I enjoy the second book in a series MORE than the first, but this one definitely did it for me. I dare you to start this book and find a way to close it. I highly recommend picking this up (as well as the rest of the series) because you will find yourself engrossed from page 1!

This was an amazing read and a hard book to put down. Tam did an amazing job at developing the characters throughout the story. I do suggest that you read the other books in the series first but can be read without reading them.
This book follows the story of Olivia, a career-driven and determined woman. She relies on no one but herself and does not need a man. Enter Garrett a ghost from a past that she has tried hard to forget. As the manager of one of the most famous rock bands, Garrett has a lot on his plate. When by some chance they are brought back together a lot happens.
Garett is a man trying to make the band he works for stay relevant. This leads him to the chance of a lifetime. Meeting up with the woman who got away and took a piece of him with her. One thing about managing a rock band from before they were a household name has made him relentless.
What happens when the past comes back to haunt them? Can you forgive someone that destroyed a part of you that you never gave anyone else? What happens when stubborn meets strong-willed and hard-headed? Is he too late and she has found someone new?

I dove headfirst into this series mainly because of the gorgeous cover. I definitely became even more excited after realizing who the author was as I have enjoyed all of the books I’ve read by her. I always appreciate maps in the beginning of books as well. It lets me envision the story a little bit better. Tricia Copeland does a wonderful job with scenery and world-building with this beautiful fae story. I felt it took me just a bit to fall into the groove of the story in the beginning, but once I was hooked, I couldn’t put it down! There is raw emotion, magic, and adventure woven throughout. Fans of fantasy mixed with action rejoice because this one is for you!

I love paranormal and fantasy books, so I had high hopes for this one right off the bat. I’m happy to say that Courtney Davis knocked this out of the park! Everything about The Serpent and the Firefly makes me want to leave reality behind and just stay hidden in their magically crafted world. This story flows so perfectly that it played like a movie in my head. It was easy to tune everything out and lose myself in Jade and Baal’s lives. I feel like fans of urban fantasy and the supernatural will adore this book.

This was a beautifully written book about a second chance at love after heartbreak. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I hadn’t read anything from this author before, but I am very impressed and will be picking up more books from them! I really enjoyed the range of emotions and the depth of each character. You really feel like you get to know both Elle and Blake on their own and can feel the hesitation along with their chemistry. I never felt any lulls in the book and thought every scene pulled me in each time. I highly recommend picking this book up so you can prepare for the next in the series!

She seeks knowledge in order to make sure she is leading her people in the right manner and using her abilities to help. Unfortunately this all leads to being accused of treason and those who were once strong allies start to distance themselves from her when they are needed the most. As this story continues and is introduced to great characters, I cannot wait to read the last installment in this series!

This is a great story for late elementary and early middle school kiddos. I loved the messages throughout this book. We read it together as a family and talked about bullying and standing up for what is right. For reference, my kids are 7 and 11, and I think that age frame is spot on. Both of my kids are also the smaller ones in their classes which made this even more relatable for them. I enjoyed the illustrations, and the flow of this story was great. What a great way to get people talking about fairness, friendships, and fitting in!

Titania is such a strong female lead. Already from the beginning, she is determined to defend her land and people at whatever cost. At the traumatic loss of her brothers, she tries to prove to her father that she is more than capable and ready. After a sudden attack, it is time to take her place as Queen. Although she was very determined at first to lead and defend her people, this 15 year old struggles with leadership and is distracted by what most teenage girls deal with…boys! Copeland introduces other magical elements as well as the distinction of Middle Earth. This was such a great read and I’m looking forward to the next two.

I enjoyed the book and the authors writing style. This is an urban fantasy that has non-stop action with a realistic feel. With the excellent writing and attention to detail the characters and plot really made me feel like I was there in the story. The story is filled with prophecy, magic, shifters, Fae, other supernatural elements, demons, angles, secrets, danger, revenge, drama, chemistry, romance, humor, quirky moments, and sooooo much more. Literally everything you would want in a book to keep you captivated. The MC heroine’s character has their entire life turned upside down and is faced with all new challenges and rules. I would say that some characters are morally grey which are always my favorite. The heroine is attracted to the bad guys and trouble always seems to find her. One of the main struggles she faces is her ex putting a hit out for her, so she must go into witness protection. So many ulterior motives mixed with love and prophecy.
Definitely a fan of Courtney Davis’s writing, and will continue to read her books! Also, will recommend this book to anyone wanting an excellent magical read that transports you out of reality!

Theresa continues to impress me with this original high stake’s series. Soul Redeemed is another unique continuation and the fifth book in the War of Destiny series. Make sure you start with Lost Souls book one in this epic series and work your way through each one as the build on from each other. Get ready to devour this dark vampiric paranormal fantasy story. The characters are well written have depth and well developed. Theresa’s world building is skilfully built and carefully crafted. The plot is fast-paced and is as gripping as it is engaging. It is a multilayered tale full of action, tension, intense danger, intrigue, imagination and twist and turns that you will find hard to put this book down. Once again, the vividness allows the reader to enjoy every nuance of Theresa’s storytelling. Soul Redeemed is built a solid foundation that has been skilfully woven into an exciting story. I am not going to share the details because Theresa’s words need to be taken in like a fine wine to let you draw your own picture through your own imagination. People Safari is a fun story told by animals and their perspective of human life. It will make you laugh out loud at their perusals. It is easy to dive into the story with the bright and colourful illustrations by Pandu Permana that bring Feather Chelle’s words to life. Children between the ages of 5 – 10 years and even adults will delight in this refreshing tale where a deer family and their raccoon guide take an up close and personal look into scientific behaviours of the humankind. An excellent book for special occasions.
I really really enjoyed this book so. It was very hard to put down, once I started reading. Very quick read (for me anyway). As a cat momma here…..Loved the pet cats name LOL 🙊 The characters were wonderfully written. The plot was just awesome! As is the WORLD the author created here. Lover of magic && the paranormal! I’ll Love You Tomorrow is the third and final installment in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy. It is finally time for Mitch and Lauren to have their story told, and it is a wonderful second-chance romance complete with twists and turns and a lot of emotions involved.
Lauren and Mitch knew they were meant to be together since they were children, and they made that dream come true many years ago, but now, that love they have always had for one another is in danger of imploding. I felt a compassion for both Mitch and Lauren. I could understand both of their points of view, and I would sometimes become frustrated with them. However, that is a reason I liked the book so much…the emotions! Life happens and sometimes that impacts a marriage, even a good one. I thought the author did a great job of illustrating that.
Each story in this series is different, but this one is unique in the genre as well. Instead of us meeting Mitch and Lauren at the beginning of their relationship, we are meeting them at the possible end of their marriage. I was already emotionally invested in them throughout the first two books, so I was hoping they would be able to find their way back to one another. The love they had for each other was still there; these two just had to find a way to continue their journey. It involved some deep soul-searching and maturing on each of their parts to find their new happiness.
I enjoyed the way the book was written. The writer included the couples from the previous books, and their inclusion really helped the story flow. I highly suggest reading these books in order as I think that will help readers see all the connections more clearly. I loved the epilogue. It really ended the way it should have…with all the couples. Without ruining anything, I can’t wait for Navickas’s next series…it involves someone from this one, and it involves someone I’m really curious about getting to know what makes them tick!

I really enjoy this paranormal romance; it has a bit of everything – action, magic, paranormal creatures, good vs. Evil, secrets, a dash of romance and more!
My favourite character is Baal, I love that he’s not the typical hero character we root for. His interactions with others are interesting and his ‘flaws’ make him more lovable to me.
There is a lot of action which I love meaning there are no dull moments. However, there were moments when it felt a little too fast-paced and a little rushed. There were also parts which I felt needed further development to add more depth to the characters (to give them more growth) but despite this, the plot is original and creative, and I couldn’t put this book down!
I enjoyed it but think that had the plot progressed more slowly, for example with a second book, the characters would have that development to give them more depth. Overall, this was an original and enjoyable read with a lot of potential.

This is an interesting story about a man on a mission to find love and the three women he is interested in. I enjoyed this story because it is based in true life and I found this added an extra level of detail to the story. Although the book is well developed and thought through, I found it to also be quite fast paced, which I hadn’t expected. Overall I think this is a good story. I didn’t fully connect with all the characters but I appreciated how they were interwoven and added to the story. This was an enjoyable read and has piqued my interest enough to read more from this author.

This book is a fast paced fantasy story that is action packed from start to finish. There is so much going on with this story and the characters are right in the middle of it. I enjoyed the premise of this story. I think the author has created an exciting story that is easy to engage with. The characters fit perfectly with the story and I thought they connection was so well crafted. This is an author I am newly familiar with and I am definitely enjoying her work so far. Each book I well written and I never fail to enjoy the story. This is a great book and I would certainly recommend it.

Savage Truth features the alternating views from Riley and Cole. Cole had erased the fight videos that Riley was using to blackmail him with. Cole wanted Raelyn and Riley gone from his life.. sort of. When Lucas told Cole to not get involved with Riley, Riley teamed up with Cassie to devise a plan to take Cole down. Their plan backfired when Riley couldn’t stop her feelings from growing. Cole and Riley became intimate overnight. When Cole couldn’t find Riley at home, he entered the school gym to discover Riley was at a dive practice. Jealousy caused Cole to start a fight with Jarrett. Subsequently, the following school day, Cole began an argument in class. With a warning from the principal, Cole attempted to make Riley jealous by kissing another girl. At lunch, Cole sees Jarrett and Riley together and another fight ensues. They suspended both of them from school.
The past intensified the tension that builds in the story that Raelyn and Riley were running from. I had an idea about Riley’s uncle being a mobster or someone of high influence. Pulling the cons they did and never being caught isn’t something most people are capable of. I didn’t understand why Cole wanted Riley, but couldn’t admit his feelings for her. When he took her virginity, he played it off like it meant nothing. Riley’s reaction was relatable. There are some loose ends that occur in the conclusion, but I am seriously looking forward to reading more of the series.

Queen Titania returns in this third instalment of this series and as the sole monarch of her realm, she has had a lot on her plate for the last ten months, but it seems that the challenges she always seems to be facing are not stopping any time soon. Her first hurdle she has to cross is making appearances at important events across the kingdom, however, there is an extra stress added when she is unaware of some traditions and has to balance time with her family and time with the other heads of the surrounding kingdoms, not to mention that her father has been approached by some of them with offers of courtship and marriage, much to her horror!
Meanwhile, she returns to her day to day life running her kingdom, however, nothing quite goes to plan and she has a request for her presence by the those she has helped in the past and yet again, they are asking for her assistance. The suitors whom approached her father come to her abode during the festivities and begin the negotiations, one of which she flats out refuses, however, she does agree to the rest and now has to arrange visits between the kingdoms on top of her preparations for the seasons as they pass through, she does have help from her father to prepare some history and information about each suitor so that she can have some knowledge of their kingdoms, as well as the suitors themselves.
As the tasks pile on to Titania’s shoulders, her research into solutions for the many issues she is facing has led her to an ancient prophecy about one who will defeat all of the evil in the land and as she is reading into it more, she begins to realise that she is possibly the fae it is describing, there is one problem with it though, her magical abilities are still not manifesting and it is another thing to add to her list of worries. As the suitors dogging her every step, requests from all around her for assistance and generally running her kingdom, Titania is both physically and emotionally battling through her responsibilities, but as the danger grows, she is determined not to let it all bury her, but will she be able to remain stoic as she struggles to maintain control of her life and her kingdom? This is a story which is full of twists and turns, as well as showcasing the pressures of coming of age, while shouldering the responsibilities of someone much older and thus proving her worth to those around her, in this complex and engaging story.
