This story has SO much potential. The spicy scenes were very well written and descriptive enough to create a mental image. I only wish there was more life to the characters and the plotline. I love the concept of meeting real people in your dreams and then finding out later they’re real.

Talisman is the first book The Talisman Series and is a Paranormal Romance that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. There’s a lot going on in this story that is packed with Celtic mythology, magic , curses , gods and goddesses and so much more. This is a fairly new author to me and I look forward to seeing what other books they have written. There are a few twists that had me turning the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen next. The characters are relatable and fully developed and there is definitely chemistry between. There’s ja few steamy scenes that will have you turning the pages. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next..i can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Three Made In Heaven is the first book in the Made In Heaven series by Elena Kincaid. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Kincaid, so I really didn’t know what to expect going into the story. I was curious about what I would find- and am so happy that it was even better than I had hoped for.
This was a great introduction to Ms. Kincaid’s work, and has given me a taste for more… I will definitely be continuing this series, as well as exploring any other works I can find.
Maddie, Charlie, and Cole took me on an unexpected journey- one that snuck its way under my skin and had me devouring the pages to find out what would happen. The paranormal aspect to this story really gave it an extra element of intrigue. From dreams to reality. This story had me invested right from the get-go. I was pulled further into the story as the page count mounted. These three tell an intriguing and very memorable tale. I can’t wait to see where this series goes…. So bring on Book #2!
If you love a captivating paranormal romance with a sexy menage (MFM), longing, drama, danger, chemistry, steam, tension, emotion, suspense, and a touch of fate- then this is definitely the story/series for you!!

Kudos to Fantasia Yu for developing many other moons, planets, worlds and galaxies that wrestle with politics, love and opposing planetary views.
Operation Blackbird by Ellen Butler

I didn’t realize this was a companion novel to The Brass Compass, but I can say that I feel it is a good standalone book. I didn’t get lost throughout the story, but I will definitely go back and read the previous one just because it was an amazing book! I felt transported to the 1950s and was in awe of the author’s ability to paint such a realistic and suspenseful picture with each page. CIA operative Miriam is attempting to recover from a nearly-fatal mission when she finds out that an old friend desperately needs her help. After Jake gets trapped behind the Iron Curtain, Miriam panics. She doesn’t know who to trust but knows she has to get Jake before the KGB does. I highly recommend picking up this book, especially if you enjoy historical adventures!

True Colors by Krysten Lindsay Hager is book one in the Landry True Colors series. This was a fast and easy read, totally clean as well. As a whole the book was good. As an adult reading I found it a little boring at times because it was middle school so it’s nothing like I usually read. However, thinking like a teenager, it felt like I was in middle school all over again! It made me feel like I was there and thinking as if I were a preteen again. So much friend drama, was it really like that?! (Yes, yes it was.) the story is about Landry and how she loses her best friends. Between trying to navigate life and figuring out who she is, she just wants to make it through school. Definitely a book I’d let my preteen read.

She meets a boy, Darin, and soon escapes secretly with him while the kingdom looks for her. He knows her as a different alias, but soon later finds out. There is much adventure, drama, relationship, and friendship in this book. I loved it all! The ending was great too!!! 🙂

Let me tell you! I was fanning myself while reading this book. I mean GOODNESS!!! Xena believes that she is the only crushing hard, when it really was the other way around. So many things happen in this book, and I CANNOT WAIT to know what happens next. So many things came out of nowhere and threw me for a loop which was awesome! 🙂

Maddie, Charlie, and Cole make a great trio together. They met in a dream when they were all little kids, and they still kept meeting up decades later. One day, they finally realize that the other people are real. The guys meet and go in search of Maddie. This made a great meet and beginning to their lives. There is so much love, drama, and friendship in this story. I loved every page! 🙂

A lot of people have dysfunctional families and Chatroom with a View delves deep into the dysfunction of the Cullen Family.
Troy Cullen has a tortured past that is still hanging on tight is his present. When his father takes his abuse a little too far, Troy is left with many unresolved issues he has to make tough choices on.
Suddenly another wrench is thrown into his current situation when his ex-girlfriend, Veronica, announces she’s pregnant with his child. Troy spirals and plans to keep the trauma going.
When Veronica learns too much about Troy’s past, she finds that there are too many skeletons in the Cullen closet. She’s fighting for her desire to keep a family together and keeping her child safe. Who will survive and who will crumble?
Chatroom with a View has a unique, and terrifying storyline. However, something about it fell flat for me. I’m unsure if it was the story being told in third person or something else, but I really struggled to get into and stay engaged with this book. I’m willing to try something else from the author, as it was written well, but I will definitely pay attention to the POV prior to starting.
The book opens up with a bang and then slows down for a bit before hitting back harder and harder. If you are sensitive to topics about abuse, you may need to stay away from this book.

All I can say is Wow! Definitely needed to read this now. Spicy but more than just a cheesy romance book. The characters were very relatable and it had a very good story line. Can’t wait to read book 2! If you’ve ever had a fantasy about 2 men loving you, pick this up!

I don’t read sci-fi romances very often but I did really enjoy this one! The author was fantastic at painting the picture in every scene, I could picture myself being a part of the adventure with Princess Mora and Darin, an unlikely couple that I found myself rooting for from the moment they met each other. The story kept me hooked with all the secrets, self-discovery, humor and the ultimate challenge: following your head or your heart. The book ended on a cliffhanger that I wasn’t expecting, which makes me eager for me to read more of the story. I also can’t wait to read more by the author.

This is a well written story with many twists and turns. It makes you want to keep reading the next chapter that you are at the end of the book before you know it. If you like medical outbreak stories added with a touch of romance, this is the book for you.
Hunter and Selma have known each other for years and have been in different relationships until 20 years later when they can finally be with each other. However, they take their careers first.
Selma has volunteered to go overseas to help Doctors without Borders when after she arrives, an outbreak happens. Hunters and a team of doctors end up going over to Africa after her to try to help with the sick and to get their friends out of the country and safe back home. Everyone debates whether or not the outbreak was an intentional threat or not.
The author does a great job in displaying knowledge and understanding of the events in the story.
Shore Lodge: A high-stakes psychological thriller by Susan Specht Oram

This book had me on the edge of my seat from the very start! I was definitely impressed at how seamlessly the transitions from character to character were, with most chapters changing the point of view of the story one after the other. The story focuses on the story of Jacklyn after suddenly losing her husband at the beginning of the story, from what her experience is to what others around her can observe. Upon moving into Shore Lodge at the behest of her children, her life is thrown through a loophole, and I enjoyed watching her reactions to the events around her as she also learned to manage her own issues. I can’t wait to read more by this author!

This was a fantastic and well written romance that had some paranormal moments and brought the steamy factor to 11. The author did a great job of keeping me engaged in the story and wanting to keep reading until the end. The dynamics between Mattie, Charlie and Cole were sweet and extremely spicy and the characters were well rounded and developed. The story had several twists and turns that kept me guessing how things would end. It was a somewhat shorter book, but none the less enjoyable. I look forward to reading the next book in the series!

Being a writer myself, it was a no-brainer for me to check out this book when I came across it. What I didn’t know is how helpful it would be! The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t format the best on Kindle all the time, particularly if you are using a phone, but that was a minor inconvenience when looking at all the valuable information this gave to me! Reading this book was like talking to a seasoned author, full of valuable information and things I never would have thought about. Reading this book has definitely helped me prepare for publishing a book, which is something I hope to do in the near future. Definitely recommend all beginning authors to read this book!

When a character asked “What do you mean?” To another..I was wondering the same thing but what they said did not make sense. Ear the end this seemed to get worse.
I liked the characters but my favorite is Bluey when it shouldn’t be. He is a secondary. The main female had a lot of issues to work through (personal and job). I see the author was touching on a couple touchy subjects. The family farm is a rough one and I can see the responsibility and pressure one could feel.
Overall its an okay story. The cover is cute and thats what pulled me to it. The blurb sounded intruiging. It fell a little flat for me.

I’m not gonna lie, it took me a while to get into this one. But one I did I could not put it down. I truly enjoyed the dynamic between Maddie, Cole and Charlie. I thought it was odd at first that they only met in dreams, however, as they tried to figure out what was real and what was dreams, I really enjoyed the twists and turns. It was spicy for sure and I definitely enjoyed it in the end. I will say give this one a try because it really is a unique concept that I want to read more about!

If you are looking for a short erotica with a HEA, this is the book for you. Although this is classified as a paranormal romance, there are barely any paranormal aspects. I also found there wasn’t much depth in the storyline. It focused too much on the sex aspect of things. I also found the men to be dull. They barely had any personally and were too much alike other than their hair and eye color.
The story starts off with Maddie, Charlie and Cole meeting somehow in a shared dream. For years, the trio would meet in the dreamworld thinking the other two were just figments of their imagination. That is until both men realized they were in love with Maddie.
After having a recurring nightmare, the men realize that Maddie could be in danger and decide to show her that they are in fact real. Scared for Maddie’s well-being they go to her.
I was disappointed about the ‘danger’ the book kept hinting at. The way it was talked about seemed like it was going to be malicious and more dangerous then what actually happened.
One thing that the book had going for it was the spicy content. The sex scenes were detailed but not too graphic. All in all, I was kind of disappointed. This book was nothing like I thought it was going to be.

This is the second book in the Brass Compass Series. I will say that I think that this definitely stands alone and would make sense if you had not read the first book. This is due to it being a connection to the first one rather than a follow up. I love that this book focuses on the cold war. I truly didn’t know too much about it before, but I really learned more and enjoyed that this focused on espionage. I felt as if I was transported to the 1950s and I was truly invested. I love this book and hope to read more by Ellen Butler soon!

The Brass Compass

This is the first book in the brass compass series. And boy is it a good one. I cannot wait to read more in this series. I have started dipping my toes into the water with Historical Fiction and this is a book that has really sealed the deal with me continuing with historical fiction. This was well written and grounded in facts. I love that this book has a female heroine who has gone as a spy in the U.S. who is sent into Germany during WWII. It follows her and her mission, but also her as she falls in love. I definitely recommend this book! It is amazing.

This series honestly keeps getting better and better. When I picked up the first book I never imagined this series would be able to sustain this longevity or that I would enjoy it as much as I do and yet that is exactly what has happened. Each book just adds so much to the series overall and, like this one, is a brilliant story in its own right.
I loved getting back into these characters and their lives. It took no effort for this book to draw me back into their world and have me engrossed from start to finish. I am reluctant to say that this was my favourite so far simply because they have all been so good. At the very least it is on par with the rest. This is a fantastic series and a brilliant book. I cannot wait for more!

Anyone with anxiety, self esteem issues and self love issues needs to read this book! From the very beginning I was thinking to myself, do I have a stalker? This book was spot on for so many of my anxieties and self love issues, to a point that it was somewhat therapeutic for me to read. As an author myself, I’ve always wondered what it would be like to write about my life, but after reading this, I no longer have to wonder! This is the first book I’ve read by this author but it certainly won’t be the last!

Three Made In Heaven is the first magical book in the Made In Heaven series. There are many tropes to this book with ménage à trois, romance, MFM, erotica, paranormal and new adult.
Wow this is one beautifully written book. It stayed with me long after I finished it. I loved everything about it from the amazing characters to the world that Elena created. It is sexy and steamy, titillating and hot, scorching with flying sparks. If you get too close you will be incinerated.
She can feel them all the way down to her soul. Her soulmates. BUT Her dreams are just that dreams. Or are they?
Not wanting her to choose they visit only in dreams but with fate involved that is impossible.
I look forward to more but I encourage you to get this book.

I enjoyed Three Made in Heaven quite a bit. It was definitely a different approach to romance than I’ve read before. The author gives an interesting take on a MMF relationship. If you’ve ever wanted your dreams/fantasies to become a reality, this book gives you that and more.
Maddie, Charlie, and Cole became friends one night in their dreams in Disney and they never realized it would change their lives. The 3 of them would constantly meet up and hang out in dreams. Their dreams become what they wished for as their reality, but when one lives in NY, one in San Fran, and the last in Washington State, how could that ever be possible? It wasn’t till Maddie started to pull back and Cole received a dire warning that he knew he needed to take action.
The adventures these 3 end up on through their dreams and reality keep you intrigued. Make you want more. The premise kept me interested and I think it could keep too! Check it out!!!
I look forward to what this author does next, especially since this is book 1!
Straight for the Kill by Winter Austin

This is book 3 in the Benoit and Dayne Mystery series. Lila Dayne must, once again, face her past demons and nightmares, as more bodies are showing up. This time things are a little different, with Elizabeth Benoit incapacitated from a recent surgery. Now the two women have to race time to figure out who is behind the murders and finally solve the case. As they get closer to the answer, they start to realize the murderer may be closer than they think. This is a fast paced, edge of your seat read and I flew through the pages easily. There are so many twists and turns and I can not imagine this being the end to Benoit and Dayne, so I look forward to the next one!

Three Made in Heaven was such an amazing story!!! This story was about being in love with two men at once, The author did an excellent job with details in her story. This book has fantasies and romance all in one. It was a great page turner because it makes you want to know what happened next.

Hush, My Darling by Winter Austin

This is book 2 in the Benoit and Dayne Mystery series. Hush My Darling is easily read as a stand-alone and you do not need to read book 1 to follow the story. Since I have not read book 1, I can not say if it directly follows the last book, but in this one, Lila Dayne comes face to face with her nightmare. She is in a new town and starting over from her past, where a serial killer was after her. With a new body now on her hands, she believes her past has come back to haunt her. The story, and especially the characters, was engaging and likeable. The author makes setting up the scenes seem so easy, and you can picture yourself in the story. I will definitely be picking up the 3rd book in the set (and going back to read the 1st one as well!)
