This book was everything! Honestly wow, I wasn’t expecting that at all. Tripp is something else and let me tell you, I read every word start to finish to get as much out of this couple as I could. I love a good angst filled enemies to lovers book and this checked all the boxes. A stellar read!

Wow this story was truly dark and twisty….and not all love stories end in happiness….or so to speak.

This story had me all twisted up…it was a roller coaster of emotions……hatred, ruthlessness, rough, twists that I did not see coming for sure. This story definitely had some “dark” moments that are true triggers just a warning.

This was a great 5 star read, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next.
Tripp all I can say is oh my, what an alpha full of hotness. Soleil is off limits to Tripp until she isn’t and he decides he can’t stay away any longer. Tripp has some demons to deal with, will he be able to get past them to have a HEA with Sunny? This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading the whole series. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I can’t wait to read more from her and the series. 1-click and get started today.

The Muffin Shop Murder: A Delilah Crumbworthy Mystery by Holly Tierney

I totally enjoyed this cozy mystery right from the very start. The descriptive writing of this talented author made it very easy to see the characters, town and goings on in your minds eye as you read along. The characters are quirky and I especially love Delilah. It’s just a fantastic start to what I know will be a great series and I personally can’t wait for more. I will be adding this wonderful author to my must read list for sure!
Chatroom With A View by Glenn Maynard

This was an interesting read. The synopsis and blurb sounded interesting so I was excited to try this one out. It was a lot darker than I was expecting. It kind of turned me off from the story a bit, because while I was expecting some darker themes, this book just a whole other turn I wasn’t expecting and there were no trigger warnings that I personally noticed to prepare for some of the content so that definitely should be a warning for some people. Other than that the story was intriguing and the characters were well written, while very twisted. I did enjoy this book, just not as much as I wanted to pr expected to.

3/5 Stars When I first started the book, I was a little throw off by the writing style. I had to adjust myself to think with the mindset of a a 12-13 year old girl, that’s just entering into middle school. Once I did that, I was able to enjoy the book way more. It reminded me a lot of what it’s like to be a young girl going through changes, becoming interested in more teen-like things, and managing my social life as best as possible. As an adult I thought it was immature that Tori & Ericka were behaving the way they were, but at that age it’s totally appropriate lol. It’s a great read for young girls who are getting into reading and want a relatable read. It’s very easy to read and follow along with.

What can I say but WOW!!! I will admit it has been quite a while since I have tried reading an Historical spy thriller but I am so glad I choose this amazing book to jump back into this genre. I was hooked right from the very start and it had me completely immersed in this time period and all that was happening within these pages. With wonderful characters, so many twists and turns and such engaging, descriptive writing this book is not to be missed! I am definitely going to be reading much more from this extremely talented author and telling all my book friends all about it.

London ends up leaving her cabin in Colorado and moving in with her sister.
Despite blaming her mother and Uncle Walter for a painful divorce, “Lonny” agrees to meet with him for a job. As a private investigator who is well known for her ability to get her job done, Walter knows she is a perfect agent for the LXVI. However, he has a request for Lonny to contract with the infamous Red Cage Security. She accepts the assignment and goes to the company. After going through multiple security points, Lonny is escorted into a meeting room. There she meets Guy and her assigned partner, Sacha. She finally meets the man she slept with in Colorado. When a major meeting requiring a vice president to attend comes up, Trent assigns Lonny to accompany True to the event. Will they finally admit their feelings, or will the entire plan backfire and permanently separate the couple?
I will be honest. Lonny frustrated me when it came to how she treated people without any regard for how they felt. True’s parents didn’t do a good job of teaching him how to treat women either. That said, the quality of this book exceeded my expectations with its unpredictable twists and well-developed characters. It is exceedingly easy to see how the Garza family is close-knit. I look forward to reading more books in the Red Cage series.
The 45th Parallel by T.S. Simons

This book is the 6th book in the Antipodes series. I had the pleasure of reading the whole series and this book didn’t disappoint. This Sci-fi series takes place in a post apocalyptic world full of adventure, mystery, challenges, and so much more. You won’t want to miss any part of this book or the rest in the series.
The author takes great care in writing this last book so we keep engaged with the many characters we’ve come to know so well as we read about what is happening with them in this book. The way the author shares this world and makes us the readers see that world she created is what keeps me interested and evolved as I read.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Vaughn and Xena need each other, but aren’t sure how Ron will handle their relationship, so they hide it. Is there a way to keep everyone happy?
In order to enjoy this book it has to be your type… extra spicy with a laundry list of triggers. It’s truly not for everyone, and that’s perfectly fine!
The ending was completely unexpected and truly caught me off guard. So much so, that I have to read the next book to figure it out.

I really wish I didn’t have to put it down so much ( I had to go back to work). I am not kidding when I say that YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!!! I pictured everything that is happening to the characters in this book, my uncle always tells me if you are able to picture what is happening in the book then it is an amazing book. I am sure I have mentioned before in my other reviews that I am not usually a fan of shorter stories But this truly talented author manages to pack so much story and character development into her books that it could be any length at all and you would be left with nothing but good vibes from the story and this author. The change of perspective that Cutter goes through was so well done that he truly captivates you all the way through and the real world issues addressed make this a read well worth your time!

I loved this book! It was a wonderful story from start to finish! The character development, the intriguing back story and the fun and unique characters easily came together to give the reader a seamless story. Worlds collide in the book and make fore an interesting plot! Seeing how new technology and old mythology come together with interesting mythological connections. I really enjoyed this book and would really recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, action packed and romantic fantasy book!

The Muffin Shop Murder: A Delilah Crumbworthy Mystery BY Holly Tierney. This is such a fun read. Its a cozy mystery and I love this author. This is the story of Delilah who has moved to Snowflake Valley to open a bakery. Thinking that she is moving to a nice quiet, quaint neighborhood she soon finds out that its not so nice. She finds out that a young girl actually died in the bakery before she bought it. She finds out that the people who owned it before tried to cut corners to save the bakery and then a horrible accident ending up sealing their fate and they had to close. She starts to meet all kinds of nice, maybe a little odd people and thinks she might fit in. Then things begin to happen. She has to try and solve a few mysteries along the way and she loves that. This is a cute cozy mystery with a town full of neat things and people. I can’t wait to read more!

This is the second book of the Brass Compass series, a historical spy thriller full of intrigue bringing the reader to Cold War era of 1952. We meet Miriam Becker, who works for the CIA, arrives in Argentina for a holiday when she happens upon a man she recognizes as one of the German SS officers that should have been captured for war crimes.
This book is thrilling and kept my attention so much that I had a hard time putting the book down. Miriam is a strong character and I could feel her concern and worry as she is trying to help a family flee Berlin and find safety. I really enjoyed this book.
Hot For Me by Tam DeRudder Jackson

Wow, what a chemistry between the two main characters! I knew before starting this book it was going to be strong as that was evident even just from the description. But their connected and the chemistry between them can be felt on every single page. For me, it is this that truly carries this book along with watching them develop as the story progresses.
I thought the overall story was well written and a great read. It is the fourth book in the series but can be easily read as a standalone. There is an easy flow to the story but the author has managed to introduce a good level of detail. This was a thoroughly enjoyable story and a great rock star romance.

Handle with Care

This is such a good and complex book. There was a lot going on, but in a very good way. It was the kind of book that you don’t want to put down because you are afraid you are going to miss something.
I love the concept of coworkers that become friends that become something well.. Not so simple to define. I thought that Selma was a wonderfully complex character, who had so many things going on it was hard to not feel sympathetic for her. Truthfully, I also loved Dr. Hunter. I thought that the way he handled the dilemma of the virus and how driven he was to solve it was an amazing twist to a plot line that I thought I had completely figured out, boy was I wrong.
I definitely enjoyed this book and I thoroughly recommend it!

My Inner Critic is the author’s own journey, told through a story. It is an interesting journey to the discovery of self-love.
Everyone has inner demons and are critical of themselves but Christine has put them on paper in a made-up world. It’s a very raw and anxiety ridden story that is relatable with many.
Emily’s struggles with anxiety and accepting herself was very confronting and honest. No one wants to bear their soul but that is what Christine has done in a clever way.
I’m and extrovert and have many of the same struggles with anxiety and depression that Emily goes through and it is scary to take a look at and expose yourself to yourself in the mirror. It’s hard to not know who you are and who you will become. But it is comforting to realise you are not alone.
I really liked the character of Blake his ability to see things in colour and not just black or white. He made no fuss and he liked Emily no matter what. I enjoyed their easy banter.
There is hope out there.

Not only is the artwork lovely to look at, I am so jealous that Caspian and his grandpa have so many cool adventures together. The story is so exciting and very creative, I love to see what unbirthday present Caspian gets next and what fun he gets into.

Tilly had a really traumatic experience and Jim is aware of it and he helps her through the aftershock of it all .
Kate wants to create a safe haven for victims of abuse and it seems Roman may join the FBI and life almost seems normal ….? Darkness is lurking and waiting to strike ….especially with the knowledge Kate has regarding the trafficking ring…..
My nerves are shattered ! These girls have had to deal with more than most people do and deserve justice ! Having not read the first book I’m going to read it and then re read this one ❣️📕 an absolute thrill of a read
Savage Start: A High School Bully Romance: Hidden Valley Elite Prequel by Isla Vaughn

Quick read as a lead in to the book Savage Lies. This story ends on a cliffhanger. When I started reading it, I was a bit iffy about it. I didn’t really feel any kind of real connection to Riley’s character. But things got more interesting when Cole’s character was introduced. The things going on in his life kept the pace of the book going to keep me interested enough to finish it. And while the events toward the end of the story are predictable, if I read through the series, it’ll be because I need to know how things play out between him and his father. Overall, a good read.
Straight for the Kill by Winter Austin

This was a great suspense/thriller read. Even though it is book 3 in the series, it is able to be read a stand alone. I love a suspense book that you can’t figure out how it ends, until it ends. This story has that element. I connected to the characters and enjoyed the tie in of a mysterious death to a current case. The idea that the people that are on the force had ties to the past case made it that more suspenseful because I wanted them to find out the answers. I really like the both Elizabeth and Lila’s characters – even though I felt there was some angst between the two, they worked well together to solve the case. I would recommend this book to mystery/thriller genre lovers.

This is my first book by this author which I look forward to seeing what is next for her. I enjoyed reading this suspenseful story. This is a well written story that has characters that not only bring the story to life but also add so much to the story. They are creative, unique and connectable. They are strong and supportive of each other. They made the story easy and entertaining to read. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. The twists and turns are like no other. I enjoyed watching the growth of the plot. I was pulled into the story from the first word. I really enjoyed this story. I highly recommend it.

This is one of my favorite romance stories by this author. I enjoyed how she is able to pull me into the story from the start and how she gives her stories a realistic feel. This story is no different. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. An engaging story about secrets and what those secrets could do to lives if found out. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story. They are strong, supportive characters that are not only relatable but add so much to the story. This is an easy and entertaining story that has great growth as well as chemistry. You don’t want to miss what happens with this story. I really enjoyed reading this romance story. I highly recommend this book.

This is the 2nd book in the Billionaire Blind Dates series, and it was just as good as the first. I love the connection of this group of friends. They are always there for each other no matter what. Evan has been a silent partner in Kayla’s brain child Blind Dates and now he was on blind dates of his own there. Would he find love? Would Kayla ever tell him how she really feels about him? If all the crazy things that were happening with the restaurant would stop, maybe they could figure it all out. I can’t wait to read the next book!!!!

It’s a story about Nomad that finds a book and wants to find the author. He doesn’t know that he would have to put his life on for the author. I can’t wait to read more from this author. Great story line.

A Dowry of Snails and Mud by Brittany Tucker is an enjoyable young adult fiction book with history embedded throughout. It follows 16 year old Rhia as she enters into an arranged marriage with Prince Emerys. The young couple faces many challenges, especially coming from different classes and places. The added pressure from parents out for opposite goals ensures that the story is fast-paced. If you love a good opposites attract story with a strong heroine then this little treat of a book is for you.

S.Ann Cole brings another exciting book to her Red Cage Series with The Golden Garza. The beginning of the book contains a Quick Information Guide with all of the characters that are part of the series. This book focuses on Soleil and Tripp. Soleil is best friends with Tillie and has decided to visit her in Los Angeles. Soleil (aka Sunny) is a YouTube fitness trainer and has been able to save up the money she needs to get an interview with Red Cage to help her find out what her real identity is. Tillie is elated when she greets Sunny at the airport. Then the shoe drops—they are staying at Tripp’s house because Tillie’s has had to be worked on and is not inhabitable currently. Sunny likes Tripp, but he is not a fan of her after their past. While she was drunk and in Costa Rica with the Garza family, she attempted to kiss Tripp while he was sleeping. He woke and shoved her away. Six years had passed since then, but he still avoided her like the plague. Tillie reassures her that Tripp is away at work and insists that Sunny occupy his room while she takes the guest room. However, Tripp returns in the middle of the night. Sunny has a secret crush on Tripp, and when he starts to become intimate with her, she goes along with it. Right before he reaches to put a condom on, Sunny tries to kiss him.
Tripp Garza does not kiss! He stops and turns the light on to discover Sunny in his bed and not his long-term friend with benefits, Maggie. Sunny tries to apologize, and Tripp knows that Tillie is responsible for the bedroom fiasco. He tells Sunny to stay in his room and that things will be sorted out in the morning. He leaves the room. The following day, Sunny is waiting for a taxi to Red Cage for her appointment when Tripp pulls up beside her on his motorcycle. He tells her to get on, and they zip through traffic, arriving in time for her to be early for her appointment. When she starts to say thank you, Tripp drives away.
Soleil goes to the meeting with Red Cage. Trent, Guy, and Ruebin are at the meeting where she tells them about her dilemma. She had been adopted and had no recollection of her memories before age thirteen. Her “father” died, and that was when she discovered he was not her real father. When she was willing to sign over the gym to Lance, the co-owner of the business, he disappeared. They tell her they will call her in a few days with their decision. Trent is against taking the case because of the cost and knowing she can’t afford it. Tripp has compassion for her and says he will pay for it. Guy also contributes $200,000 to the pot. Unbeknownst to Soleil, Tripp has feelings he is trying to hide, and they all go back to before the attempted kiss in Costa Rica.
