This was a great read for my little and I. I love that it rhymed (keeps the kiddo interested) and it had a great teachable lesson, to always be kind or “karma” finds a way to you. All of Cray’s friends were tired of being pinched, but when Cray loses his “pinching” claw, they still showed him kindness and true friendship. The characters are cute and illustrations are great. Will definitely read more from this story line and author.

This was a great 5 star read. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. The author does a great job with her writing. Noah and Sadie have a history that gets rekindled in this story. I do have to say that Sadie did push my buttons a little here and there but for the most part I liked her. Noah’s story got me in the feels. The story gets even more suspenseful and scary when a serial killer that Noah is hunting comes around. We get several twists and turns and edge of your seat moments. I haven’t been this excited about a YA series since Percy Jackson. Wolf, the first book in the Kingdom of 7 Sovereigns, is an enemies to lovers tale. Duty bound Amelia of Avonlee is betrothed to Dane of Carpathia with the hope that their union will provide her smaller kingdom with protection. To make things even more complicated, she must now attend a school with children from all seven kingdoms, including Dane.
Bastion Academy is the realms last ditch effort to build bridges between kingdoms but some of the nobles just want to watch the world burn and I am so here for it!

Fade into the Night is another fantastic book in the intriguing Philly Heat series. Becky is a master at cleverly weaving stories that are engaging, mysterious, full of thrills, and are as compelling as they are engrossing. Twists and turns abound that you don’t see coming. Make sure you read these books in order because they are full of everything you could want in a romance with danger, action and thrills. There are so many secrets, lies, threats, and evil just waiting to jump out at you. The fear and suspense is so palpable that I had to turn on all the lights. Add in romance and drama and the story ended all too soon as I was so lost in the story. Sleep was not on the agenda until I finished this book. I love that Becky’s stories are told through multiple POV’s as you really get inside the characters heads and know what they are thinking and learn who they are better. These wonderful characters are well written, complex and fully realised. I was invested in them and yelled at the book and jumping up and down trying to help them. Yeah, hubby thought I was crazy, well crazier than normal! Noah is after a killer but this one has gone a step too far and hurt someone close to him. He is determined that nothing more will happen to her but with a killer on the lose can he stop them before he loses it all. But on top of that his secrets are about to be revealed unless he can stop them. Sadie is not the same woman she was not long ago. With evil out there lurking in the shadows her life will never be the same again. The pain, the trauma, the fear that goes along with that has broken her. What can you do when evil is hiding in plain sight and you are the one that got away? I recommend you read Fade into the Night, I know you will love it.

Cutter is a suspenseful and action-packed tale and the engrossing first book in the MC Devils’ Spawn Daddies series. Victoria’s narrative draws you in to the BDSM world with Doms/Subs that is seductive and enticing. It contains DDMG play which I can take or leave but a dark and sexy world of BDSM and hot and sexy men are some of my favourites. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and it interesting to see the dynamics play out in their play. Emily has stepped up in her world and needs his help more than ever, but can she get him to help her after what she did. Who can she really trust. Cutter is a Daddy Dominant, and he once again comes face to face with someone who has taken the spotlight in his fantasies many, many, times. When she reaches out to him will he go along with her plan, or will he walk away. With plenty of action, suspense, drama, danger, tension, angst, emotions, and secrets it is a dangerous and deadly time as they try to take down an MC who are known for trafficking humans and much more. I can’t wait for the next book.
This book is a brilliant romantic suspense story and I loved the characters at the heart of it. Noah and Sadie has such as real and believable connection right from the start. I really enjoyed watching their relationship blossom, even with everything they had to face. The story was intriguing. It was fast paced and exciting to read. I always enjoy how this author approaches a story and each of them are great stories. This book was so easy to read because I was caught up in the story and wanted to see how things would turn out. This is a great book that I thoroughly enjoyed.

A Heart So Savage (The Savage Duet Book 2) by April Moran. This is the second installment in the Savage Duet series and I would highly recommend reading the 1st book before this one. This book picks right up from the first book and is the continuing story of Ava being kept prisoner by Kingston (King). Ava is attracted to King even though she doesn’t want to be. King has always collected things and Ava is no exception. He is so attracted to her that he wants to protect her which is unusual for King. I felt like Ava was stronger in the first part of the book and in the second she was more defeated and just accepting her fate. Ava also learns that she can’t trust a lot of people that she thought she could including some of her own family. In the second part of the book we also see some of Kings background including he and his brother being abused by their father. Which makes things more understandable in the way he treats people. When King is injured Ava has to make a decision, does she stay or leave. Such a good read!

I’m not going to say a lot about this book because I don’t want to give anything away. I absolutely love the character of Noah and really felt for him, especially when he opened up about his family. I wasn’t such a huge fan of Sadie though. I wanted to like her but found her almost annoying at times. I get that she was going through some immense things but really didn’t appreciate the way she acted towards Noah. That being said, I can also see why she acted towards him the way that she did.
This book is full of twists and turns! I love a book that has you guessing. I did figure out fairly early who I though the Beltway Romeo might be and I was correct. That doesn’t happen often but I guess I picked up on a few things that I don’t normally. I was on the edge of my seat for the last half of this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished it!

I really enjoyed reading this book about Sasha and her experiences as a young lady. The author did a great job of developing short stories that put Sasha in a place to be empowered, kind, show her confidence and to be brave. I loved that the end of the book included vocabulary and word wall work – this is good for teachers and for those girls who love words! The character of Sasha is very relatable to any young girl, as are the scenarios she finds herself in. One story that I found very important was the story about relaxing – finding time to enjoy life… this is especially important in today’s world where we rush, rush, rush to get everything in place, to win, to be the top. Sasha has some great lessons to share!
This book was a enjoyable read. It is a MMF ménage romance which has elements of angst, banter, steamy moment, as well as adorable dogs all added to the mix to make this a really sweet story. This story is told from the point of view of our 3 main characters which I loved as it allows us an insight into what each character was thinking and really brings them to life.
We start off meeting Weston. He was a little down on his luck and decided to take a roommate to help pay his bills. What he didn’t anticipate was ending up with 2 roommates and being extremely attracted to th m both.
Callum is one of the roommates. Now he has completed culinary school he wants to focus on his work and career. What he doesn’t need is the distraction of a relationship or two, especially not with his new roommates but how long can he resist the pull and attraction.
Petra has just got out of a bad relationship, all she wants is a safe place to call home for her and her dog. A relationship of any sort is the last thing on her mind. But with 2 handsome roommates does she stand any chance of resisting temptation.
This is a steamy read which does have twists and turns that I didn’t see coming as our three roommates learn to coexist with each other not only as roommates but as lovers. Their journey isn’t a easy ride but at times it’s a fun one.
An enjoyable and engaging MMF romance which kept me happily turning the pages. When Weston must rent out rooms in his house, he was not expecting to have an instant connection to not one but two of the applicants. Callum is just starting out in his culinary career having got his dream job as a chef. He goes along to view a room and meets his roommates, Weston and Petra. He knows they will be a distraction and that he will need to stay focused on his career. Meanwhile, Petra has just left a lousy relationship and so her and her dog are looking for a place to live. However, she’s definitely not looking for another relationship, let alone one with two men. This is a heartwarming story, featuring three extremely likeable and relatable main characters, who I felt instantly engaged with. The chemistry between Weston, Callum and Petra sizzles off the page, and leads to some very steamy scenes and sexy fun between the three of them. The storyline has some emotional twists and turns which kept me hooked and I love that the dogs also became characters themselves!

This is going right onto my list for best romantic suspense of the year. Noah and Sadie were in the heat of the action right from the start. They have history and when they rekindled that history along came Romeo, the serial killer, that Noah has been hunting. I can’t tell you more due to spoilers but there are twits and turns that will keep you on your toes. This author rights such wonderful stories. I can’t put down any of her stories until I finish them. I must know what happens right then. Noah and Sadie have some big baggage attached to them that they will deal with during the story and this is one relationship that kind of reminds you of the movie SPEED. Can it survive the drama and adrenaline? Well-written characters and a well-done story make for a great book. This is one book worth picking up and reading. You can also give the others in the series a shot too. It can be read as a standalone.

This was a very interesting read for an MC story. Cutter is looking for his Little and thinks he’s found her in his sexy detective. An interesting relationship to follow. This was a fairly new trope for me. The premise of the story was well-written. Watching thse two work out their issues was worth it. If you enjoy MC and the Daddy dominant/submissive trope, this would be a good book to read.
My grandson was so excited to get to read another Nessie adventure. This was such a fun story. It’s short and ful of adventure. The kids go along with Nessie and find their way to fun. The story is exciting and it’s a hit in my house. The pictures are colorful and well illustrated. These have fast become the faorites at storytime. This author is so creative. I can hardly wait to see what the next adventure brings.

I enjoyed this book. The mystery was intense. It totally grabbed me right from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. I liked the many perspective points of view of the team and the timeline jumps. It kept it fresh and exciting. So many villians and the loyal team members were trying to really help the boys. There is lots of action, drama and a touch of romance. The intrigue makes it feel a tad like Indiana Jones. This has been a really neat series to read. My grandson isn’t quite old enough to read it yet but I’ve got it on my bookshelf for him. Thank you for sharing this really entertaining adventure.

Group Hug is a MMF Romance that will pull you in from the beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. This is a Steamy MMF told in multiple POV . Deja Brew All Over Again is the third instalment of Sylvie Stewart’s Love on Tap series, and follows bad boy Miller who falls for Maisy, the runaway bride who jumps in his car and tells him to drive… on her wedding day. Miller is fascinated with Maisy from the get go, and Maisy hates letting people buy she can’t help it when it comes to Miller. They help each other out, tell each other their secrets, become genuine friends and end up solving their problems together. My favourite character is Miller and my least favourite character is Maisy’s mother. I recommend this book because of the strong characterisation, the original plot, and the detail and planning that clearly went into creating this story. I am intrigued about the rest of the series, although I don’t know if any of the brothers could beat Miller for me. ‘And, once again, I leap before I look, knowing at least I’ll enjoy the fall even if I crash and burn on the rocks below.’

This is an MMF story and it is hot hot hot. Steamy and funny! They had amazing chemistry but they definitely had alot of ups and downs to work through! Okay now I have to mention that there is doggos in this story! They’re worth mentioning because they’re the goodest puppies ever! Now our non-furry mcs are fantastic too. I enjoyed their story alot and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!
Savage Start was an intriguing introduction to the Hidden Valley Elite series. It was well written, full of action, pulled you in right away, and was able to hold your attention till the unfortunately abrupt ending. Yes, it definitely did end on a cliffhanger but also what felt like an incomplete story. I am intrigued enough to pick up book two and am looking forward to more of Isla Vaughn’s writing and more of Riley and Cole’s story.

This was a new genre of stories for me to read; outside my normal range of stories. I loved that each story was a unique shifter tale. I had never thought of shifters as anything but werewolves. It was refreshing to read and see the different perspectives. I do wish there was more to read of each story but of course that wouldn’t make it a short story. Definitely will try to read more stories by T.K. Lawyer.
Heart stopping for sure. Sylvia Black continues to draw you into the world of the Masters of the Consulate in book nine. Sheba is a traitor after being one of the most trusted allies but so much more awaits. Dual perspectives of Master Botosoni and Catina. This series each book is a guaranteed happy ever after, but this one made my heart stop in fear when the lack of communications almost took away everything. Master Botosoni is stunned learning Sheba has turned and is in the forest nearby, at the base of the Carpathian Mountain range. The very lands that each faction of the underworld fights for with their blood claiming it as their land. All for the secrets hidden within. Catina is the only daughter in a traveler family. Deemed too old to marry off at twenty-one her family try to sell her with her virginity as the big draw. Botosoni is told by many of the Lords in his region to visit her, let her do a reading for him she is good and can help him in the hunt for the rogues and shifters, Sheba included. Instantly they are drawn together but when her family returns too soon, she tells them lies with a promise of a big payout to get them to leave her with the vampires. The author’s talent no joke her description of the soup early on made me so hungry I had to make a snack as soon as I finished the chapter. I truly cannot wait for book ten, Master Oradea, April 26th, 2026. Happy 12th birthday to my son, but mommy will be in the corner reading the next book every chance she gets.

Savage Lies by Isla Vaughn is the first book in the Hidden Valley Elite Series. This series is comprised of duets following different couple. This book is the first of the duet following Cole and Riley. This story is an Enemies to Lovers, High School Bully Romance. The heat and angst are absolutely unmatched. The cliffhanger at the end is a doozie so be ready to jump right in to the second book. Trust me you will not want to put this series down. Five out of Five Stars!!!!

Savage Start by Isla Vaughn is the Prequel book in the Hidden Valley Elite Series. I did not read this book until after I had read the rest of the series. But I highly recommend reading it first. It gives insight into Riley and Cole’s initial meeting as it is alluded to in the series proper. When I say that this series has had an absolute chokehold on me from the beginning it is no exaggeration. This is an absolute must read series and an instant read author for me. Five out of Five stars!

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good military romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book in the Deadman’s Tribe series and I’m now hooked. I couldn’t help but to fall in love with these characters. You could read the tension between these two and I absolutely loved it. I could not put this book down until the end and wow what an ending. I can’t wait to see who she is going to write about next.

Nessie and the Viking Gold is part of the Nessie’s Grotto series and the story was fun, engaging and magical. Craig and Linda are back at the Grotto for more adventure and fun…but of course Craig and Linda’s parents do not want the kids to go near the water as to them it is dangerous. The adventure is only starting as there is a popular concert to be held at Urquhart Castle that Linda wants to go to, a Viking treasure to be discovered and Nessie’s home may be in danger. What happens when the story unfolds….will Nessie be safe and fun and treasures be discovered? Definitely read and find out.
This story is geared toward ages 5-8 but I believe this story could be enjoyed even for the young at heart. This was a fun read with engaging illustrations…looking forward to reading the next Nessie adventure!

This is such a good book for 8-12 year olds. It is not easy being a girl of this age at school. This book has several short stories that show us how Sasha sees herself as inferior and not enough. But, the author tells these stories to show that Sasha is important and that each girl is more than enough. In a world where mean girls exist, this book is very much needed.
