This was an intense quick read that will instantly pull you into this series. Riley finds herself in another new town where she is promised by her mom that they’ll get to settle down. Cole is trying to live his life but is having to protect his mom. A chance meeting, broken promises, and an ending that leaves you wanting more is what you’ll find in the prequel. If you were unsure about this series, this book will change your mind to an instant yes.
