Motherland is Book Three in the Tom Grant Series. It is a crime thriller with drama, suspense, action, mystery, intrigue, and danger. The story centers around the characters of Tom and Isabella who have been reunited after having not seen each other for six months. Isabella must return to Russia, even though it is dangerous for her so Tom accompanies her on the trip. The ensuing adventure is fraught with danger as they tangle with a dangerous killer and put their lives at risk. Tom may have bitten off more than he can chew but failure is not an option. An action-packed read that will keep you riveted until the end.

Lost Property is Book Six in the Tom Grant Series. It is a suspense thriller with drama, action, mystery, intrigue, and danger. The story centers around the character of Tom who has been reluctantly thrown into finding a witness that is vital to aiding in bringing down a human trafficking ring. The ensuing investigation gets deadly and takes some twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are complex, dynamic, and multi-faceted which adds an extra layer to the story. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Isaac Hawke has just graduated from law school and is out for one night of fun before heading into his role in the Hawke family’s business empire. When he makes eye contact across the room with a stunning redhead, he feels an instant attraction. From the way she is looking at him the attraction seems to be mutual. Both Isaac and the mysterious redhead agree to spend one night together but the rule is that they cannot exchange real names.
Both Isaac (“Nolan”) and “Jack” were running from their families, for different reasons, and each needed a way to escape from the realities of their worlds. Falling into each others’ arms, while assuming different names, made that escape a possibility. Neither went into it with any sort of expectation and they fully intended to walk away afterwards with no-strings attached.
“Jack”, as the mysterious redhead calls herself, turns out to be someone that “Nolan” (Isaac) cannot get enough of, and he finds that he does not want their time together to end. He decides to ask “Jack” for her real name in the morning but when he wakes up, she is gone. Now with no real name to go by, Isaac fears that he will never be able to find this mysterious and sexy redhead that he cannot imagine being without.
This book was steamy from the first few pages and became sizzling hot as it went along. The chemistry between Isaac and “Jack” was intense, and full of raw passion. It ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger, and I cannot wait to read more in the series.
